12161  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US win the currency war? on: September 30, 2015, 02:06:47 PM
Bitcoin could become the reserve currency of the world if it's backed up by Gold, Governments, etc But until then, the USD will remain at the top for probably the next 5 to 10 years or so. Just my opinion  Grin
12162  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 30, 2015, 02:04:22 PM
I always imagined Bitcoin being the national currency of a country. What if in the future, physical Bitcoins would be minted by the government with the face of a US president (or from another country)? That would certainly be cool, but I doubt that it would happen. Just living my dreams..lol  Grin
12163  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 01:57:38 PM
price should go up this time cuz the supply is decreasing by alot

Exactly. That means that Bitcoin is becoming rare and thus its demand will increase as well as it's price. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a hopefully increase in price by the next halving (probably around 2016)  With its current price is the perfect time to buy some more. (that is if price goes up by then) Cheesy
12164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 30, 2015, 01:55:02 PM
Monero's price is so cheap right now, that I've decided to buy some. After that, I sold some of my XMR at a higher price on another exchange and I was able to make some profit. I got lucky today  Grin
12165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: September 30, 2015, 01:51:24 PM
Luckly, I was able to buy Monero cheaper at an exchange and then sold some of then at a higher price in another exchange. I made $1 by doing this today.  Cheesy
12166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: September 30, 2015, 01:46:42 PM
I would just make a casino/gambling site and earn Bitcoins. It could probably be the best way to earn them since the house always wins.  Grin

Can anybody tell me where could I buy a physical Magi coin? I've always wanted to have it but I can't seem to find it anywhere. If such coin exists, let me know. This would be added to my physical crypto collection  Grin
12168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of altcoins that can be obtained by gaming on: September 30, 2015, 01:38:02 PM

I'd never thought that you could earn Digibyte by playing League of Legends. This is new to me. I'll check it out. Thanks for sharing this, mate!  Cheesy
12169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 01:36:09 PM
I'm now playing hyip, can earn some little money.

Investing in HYIP is definitely not the way to go. At first, they may seem to pay you, but when time passes by, they stop paying and steal your money. It happened to me hundreds of times (but I was too greedy) and lost a great amount of money. The majority of HYIP are scam, so I suggest you stay away from them for the sake of your profits  Grin
12170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: September 30, 2015, 01:29:04 PM
This coin price will rise, great dev behind it Smiley

I have faith in Expanse knowing that someday it's price will increase. There has been good development going on. Current price is just only the beginning of a wonderful journey. Right now, it's the perfect time to buy more cheap Expanse, because when all this is over, it's price will likely increase. Just let time pass by and you'll see  Cheesy
12171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN launches 4th generation Bitcoin mining ASIC: BM1385 on: September 29, 2015, 11:18:58 PM
I'm saving most of my earnings to get my hands on the new Antminer S7. The best thing about this miner is energy efficiency so I would save money and reach ROI in no time. This has been added to my wishlist. I think I'll be selling my good old Gridseed GC3355 to earn some extra cash  Roll Eyes

What is your electricity price?   I don't think of reaching ROI in "no time" happens much anymore.

It's kinda a long game that takes a while.  I miss the 90 day ROI time, now it's in hundreds of days.

I think it is $0.08 per kwh. I’m not so sure because usually my parents pay the electricity, but sometimes when I consume a lot of energy, I have to pay it. Still, the less energy consumed the better.  Roll Eyes

With free electricity, no difficulty increase, the ROI time is next year in March. Not particularly "in no time" for me. With 0.08 Electricity and 2% increment, you will never break even. Your only strategy for ROI would be to mine it for a bit and then sell it before it devalues.

That’s fine. I’ll just mine for a few hours (not 24/7) until the difficulty increases. Later on, I would sell the miner and hopefully buy a better one (when time comes)  Grin

Hey risto!

Did you see these?

I hope , they make a physical BTC it better than virtual

You mean like this?

It can be worth 1 BTC, and minted out of pure gold, and can be physically traded Cheesy

This physical Bitcoin looks luxurious and a very good coin to have. I would like to have one of these. Any idea on where I could buy one? I love to collect physical coins  Cheesy

I think that the perfect project for you with your vast Monero and Silver hoards would be to create physical silver Monero coins.  Given gold's reputation, I find that most "essentials hoarders" (I'm talking about the people that hoard guns and silver for worst case scenarios) prefer silver over gold.

Bonus points if you could design a coin-like silver object that doesn't immediately have the XMR private key visible (though I know this would be difficult).

There’s a place where you could buy silver Monero coins. They look very shiny and good to collect. You can check it out here: https://cryptonic.net/product/order/5/ Hope this helps.  Smiley

12174  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2015, 10:24:56 PM
Right now, Bitcoin is very unstable so it would probably take another 4-5 years to really see an impact on it. Maybe the next year would be better, but nobody knows if it will be because crypto is unpredictable. Only time will tell if Bitcoin's price would reach $1000 and mainstream adoption  Roll Eyes

What you are saying is correct but I think that in the year 2016 the prices would atleast go bit higher as compared to 2015 mainly depends on the adoption level and the demand of bitcoins, if the adoption level is higher prices would be higher and much more stable, and that is time we all are waiting for, the day bitcoins hits the mainstream the prices would be more stable.

And probably the main reason of Bitcoin's price instability would be the surge of new alt coins like Ethereum which is mostly hype. But then I could be wrong. Anyhow, I hope to see something good when the next halving comes in. I also which that the block size issue would be resolved but that's not up to me.  Cheesy

Same from my side, starting to be concerned.. No news on twitter, forum url on the page links to an email and the contact form is broken.
..ETH is falling so I'd rather start now then never...
..there was the info last week that the dashboard should come up by this weekend, but still no news...

----waiting......

....twitter account deleted.. Angry

Hmm. This looks very suspicious. Probably another scam like cloudminr.io, Hashprofit, etc History repeats itself and scammers can’t stop stealing people their money. At first, there weren’t any pictures or proof of owner, also considering the fact that OP rank is newbie which makes it very suspicious to offer a service with such account. We’ll see how this goes. Only time will tell.  Smiley

12180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: September 29, 2015, 01:50:37 PM
Most friends that I've recommended Bitcoin to, are interested only in the profits. They don't care if it's decentralized or such, they just want to take advantage of it to make money. Also, they will leave Bitcoin if prices goes lower than it is right now (which I doubt) of about $200 -$210 per BTC.  Smiley
