1221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 25, 2017, 07:41:35 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Unless my investment not planned for short term and not required for emergency purpose. I will hold my coins until its bounce back to peak or to a decent margin from my capital.
We know the market will be always fluctuating with profits and loses. So even loss is not permanent and the profit as well. We can hope for bounce. If the coin or a market is not troubled by any governments like stopping the exchanges for time being and implementing regulations. we can expect for increasing in value especially if you are bitcoin holder.
1222  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: hardware setup - newbie on: October 24, 2017, 02:38:42 PM
Hi All!

I'm new to Bitcoin and would like to ask a few questions:

1. Can I setup a bitcoin miner rig using existing or usual Desktop PCs build?
2. If yes, what are the important PC parts that will largely contribute to mining ie big RAMs, larger HD capacity, faster CPUs, fan cooled or liquid cooled setup
3. Is mining software free? If yes, where can I download one in Windows based format

Thank you!
No, You can't use your PC for mining if you do so your PC will burn due to lack of capacity.
Mining requires high performing hardware. You can assemble your own setup with following equipments Graphic cards (1080 is best) 8gb, Mother board, latest processors i3 or more, Power supplier etc. There are many youtube videos available to help you assembling.
Else you can but exclusive equipment for mining like Antminer s9 ot ASIC miner
1223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC effect on altcoins on: October 24, 2017, 01:22:11 PM
I noticed that most times when btc is rallying almost all of the altcoins dip. and when there is a crash in btc all altcoins suffer as well. my interpretation is that for the first alts can't sustain the price against the $ if btc is high. and for the second, everyone is panic selling btc.
what do yo guys think ??
It's became a regular thing when the bitcoin increases it's value in market and it will definitely affect the other altcoins. That's because of the importance or priority given by traders and users of bitcoin.
At the time of minor fluctuation in btc value then the investors may contribute their money in altcoin. However everyone knows the altcoins wont give profits like bitcoin as much faster.
1224  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining with free electricity on: October 23, 2017, 07:01:46 PM
Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker but today I bit the bullet and made an account.

I live on a military camp and I don't pay for electricity, I'm thinking of buying an s7 (only one I can afford right now) and leaving it running. Noise isn't a issue, connectivity is a bit of an issue due to third party software but not insurmountable, heat is an interesting one but I think I have a solution for it.

Is it a good idea to get into mining bitcoin still given I won't be paying for electricity? Or would an altcoin be more appropriate?
I think you are very lucky to have electricity for free. Its main capital for mining and your idea about the altcoin mining is good to go. Truth is you could not see like bitcoin where its value getting increased day by day. Better to go with bitcoin if you want low risk.
You need some patience in altcoin mining because we can mine them but during the trade you need focus when the value may get increased and sell them at the profit rate.
1225  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Just want to hear your opinion guys on: October 23, 2017, 06:39:26 PM
Hey guys do you think in next 2 years there will be relase better miners for SHA256 than Antminer S9(from bitmain)? Smiley
What do you guys think about that i want to hear everysingle opinion.

Thanks in advance for postion ur opinion..
Most definitely. You cannot compare what we have today to what we had in the past when bitcoin journey started and I am sure you would not expect us to keep going the same way as time goes on. New innovations will come up most especially for easy mining and as difficulty keeps increasing. So in a couple of years, we should start seeing some new and better features.
And that is the beauty. Human always been attracted toward the change. The variety thing in a product makes it more suitable choice for the customers and thus the evolution continues. You are absolutely right, we can’t think of the last ten years and now to be same. Things are changing and so is the mining, but more features are on the way.
It's very important to be updated with latest and software are the major product that should be updated with respect to the future.
Mining will also run to the latest update technically. Lets expect for the best machines in future
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin trading is very bad now. on: October 21, 2017, 10:30:14 PM
Altcoins never been up for every time and that too face fluctuation in market.
The main reason for dropping will BCG launch. So altcoins will regain its position after hard fork. I would recommend you not to sell your altcoins because of market weakness. If you have a thought of long term holding then you shouldn't be worry about it.

1230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC effect on altcoins on: October 16, 2017, 09:23:11 PM
because most if not all altcoin are traded with btc pair, and most invested in altcoin using bitcoin as their base currency.
so yeah, it is somehow related in price movement when there are big news.
That matched to the situation where bitcoin face a dip and alt has the same effect. Bitcoin has very well got its place and created a dependency on other alts. On someway bitcoin created its place to decide the market trend of other altcoins. I mean bitcoin used to buy altcoins. Good promoting without intention.
1231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be 10k in the next 6-10 months! on: October 16, 2017, 09:14:18 PM
As you can read the title, these are the words said by Former Wall Street giant turned Billionaire Mike Novogratz that they won't be surprised if Bitcoin reaches $10k by 2018. We have all been seeing some sarcastic comments from many Wall Street giants and here's an opposite statement coming from someone who used to be a part a Wall-Street. Hey critics, what do you think now?

We are sure to see 10k very soon because the price has broken the level that I expected it to, before the end of October. So, let's just start counting days unless this battle between SW and S2X comes to an end and let the real action begin.
Wink The title motivates me to buy bitcoin and hold them up instead of having savings deposit  Cheesy. Bitcoin has a quality to value up to 10k. Current market capability of bitcoin and its growth observed is very in a short span of time. Its not doubtful to say it may reach that value one day. I will try to buy them instead of saving my fiat. Cool
1232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: October 16, 2017, 09:02:24 PM
I sold my bitcoin today. I think the price jumped too much too fast. My opinion is that it will drop below 5,000 soon and in that case I will buy back again because i expect bitcoin to increase significantly in the long term.
What do you think??
That's a smart move. I don't know how much you bought for. I guess you should've made at least $1500 profit. Correct me if am wrong. Buy back when it drops is good but can't predict them a better time. Are they gonna drop? . I think its possible if any country bans in their country
1233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short term investment on: October 16, 2017, 08:55:59 PM
Well I will do short term time to time. Just say this past few days, btc dropped to 3000 that was a very good time to dump a few thousand and then it jumps to 3800. Just got to be smart
That's exactly a short term investment. This term depends on expectation on profits. I hope this will be the good earning for beginners to gain some decent profits in short term.
You try them on different coins as well and get experienced on investing without a big loss.
1234  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin goes up so high? on: October 16, 2017, 08:50:33 PM
Recently, the price of bitcoin went up high.
Someone says it's because Japan gave an endorsement to the 11 cryptocurrency exchanges or some people say it's because Goldman Sachs announced that they will start the bitcoin trade operation.
What do you think of the most influential reason for making the bitcoin price high?
Plz share Smiley
As we know the Supply and demand decides the high or low values and the same strategy is applicable to bitcoin as well. Sometime positive opinions of big business man or investors may shine them up.

According to present discussion the value seems to be high because of upcoming gold fork Oct 25th. Good treat for bitcoin investors.
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: LOWEST PRICE BITCOIN WILL GET TO on: October 16, 2017, 08:44:26 PM
I am actually worried at the rate bitcoin is dropping and I think it might reach $2K so I want to know if my suggestion is right.
I think it's very difficult to see them to drop to $2k according to current trend. Just change your thought because its almost 50% high. However it will drop at anytime when the demand reduces or ban happens in any country. Keep in mind we can just able to watch but can't buy. It might stay low just for momentary blip and will gain it's position.
1236  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 08:39:02 PM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.
Apart from 1. Future currency 2. Faster to transfer 3. Investors recommended as best platform.
It is the fastest way to invest at the beginning and making profits very soon. This can be understand by present generation and it magnify them to invest here for more money. Nobody needs to push them. It is very simple and interesting.
1237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: October 16, 2017, 08:08:00 PM
what do you think about pump and dump?  did you ever trade on pump and dump event? can you give few tips for how to make money from this events? what i need to look for?
Pump or Dump should happen in cryptocurrency market. This is a very common thing in any kind of market and business

Dump Helps to buy and hold them. Pump helps to sell them depends on the % of growth expected by people. At anytime you need it for purpose you can go for liquidate your coins unless you should hold them for profit.
1238  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 08:02:11 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
It's better to invest money in different altcoins and bitcoin as well. Try to invest in different sources to avoid loses if any. Your expectation is good in bitcoin but it may low in rare cases.
1239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin breaks all time high and surges past $5,000 on: October 16, 2017, 07:26:25 PM
I didn't expect the bitcoin will grow this much faster than other. Currently it reached to around ~$5500. Lets wait for hard fork on bitcoin gold birth. People are moving their alts to BTC since the expectation on growth is high
1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: October 16, 2017, 07:17:39 PM
When do you decide to sell?

Is it a sat, a % of profit, or even a randomly thought up number in your head?

I am new to trading Crypto, but when I traded other stocks, I would aim for a certain percentage.
This seems much easier to hit that percentage, but much more risky.

How do you determine when to let it go?
I Usually sell them if it reached to certain percentage like 20-40% higher from the beginning.

I will try to avoid my mindset about huge expectation. I know it is very Hard to predict the market about High or Low value
