1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 17, 2022, 11:40:16 AM
However, it seems Bob Arum won't allow his Inoue to face the champions right away and for me, that would also be a nice move once he moved up. There's no need to rush for a title match right away although I really badly want to see Inoue facing Fulton or Akhmadaliev in a title match someday.

That's not really far from happening once Inoue climbs the next weight class and that might be the closest case because Bob Arum is known to take a less risky path for his fighters while milking them at the same time for challenging a much easier opponent. I assume that Bob Arum will let Inoue to face either Fulton or Akhmadaliev after 2 non-title fights, with win of course.
Arum is a genius, so yeah for sure he won't let that happen unless the champion is weak, but Fulton is no pushover. So I'm expecting Arum to just pick someone that can easily be beaten by Inoue by knockout or by another impressive win.

And maybe, when the hype is still there, he will allow Inoue to face either champion.

But then again, boxing politics might be the biggest stumbling back again.

Arum will continue to play with his cards, as long as Inoue is willing to sign his contract and Inoue is contented with the amount
he receiving from Arum, the business will continue.

They will continue to pick fights that will bring Inoue to more hype. It's Arum's job
to make sure that the money will continue to flow. Nothing new, it's a business and
he will keep his advantages to get more money out.
Inoue sees the opportunity to be more popular under top rank, so he decided to join him, however, if he will be more ambitious and he will become more popular already, then most likely he will also not gonna resign just like the boxers that left the camp of Bob Arum. For now, it's still too early, Inoue is still enjoying his stay with the top rank, so let's not talk about it yet.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is about to pump on: November 16, 2022, 09:51:59 PM
It was been known to us OP that the market is about to pump but to ask when? That is absolutely nobody knows. People are expecting it after halving and it was based on the previous bull season. Of course, I believe in a such thing because I've experienced it as well.
Yes, we still see a few pumps of price in the market today, and yet, not exactly the time to say it will continue to rise. It was just normal market interactions and that is what we called volatility.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 16, 2022, 12:39:45 PM
It looks like the Jazz's good run is over, they are experiencing the opposite now as they are already on a losing streak. The team that was the number 1 in the West is already in the top 3, their next game would be against the Suns, that's another good opponent.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto dump is just getting started? on: November 16, 2022, 10:21:01 AM

We all know that Bitcoin will increase in the future and reach the value it deserves, and you are right about this. The real question here is, will the investor be able to wait for the duration that will pass? While there is a problem in the world every month, there is a great uncertainty. This is one of the things that makes people nervous.
Those people who feel nervous are those who are not invested in Bitcoin or those who are lack of trust in crypto.

Whether you are going to believe it or not, whales are just playing us, doubters and panic sellers, because they are taking advantage of us. I know we can't erase the possible scenario of panic selling because not all are willing to hold their coins. The price will dump and be heavily affected by them but you know what, it is only their regrets when the bear season is over.
1285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: November 15, 2022, 09:40:43 PM
Everything you say is interrelated and becomes the driving force for success for a trader. As you said, if we have a lot of capital but we don't have the knowledge, skills, strategies etc. then the result is a big 0. It's different if we don't have a lot of capital but we have knowledge, skills and strategies, so that will still give us an advantage, yes, even though it won't be like people who have a lot of capital. Before thinking about capital, we must first increase our knowledge, because in my opinion capital will be easier to find than knowledge and skills.
Of course, everything is interrelated. I don't think a beginner would be advised to trade thousands of dollars early on in their introduction to the market because it will only cost them money. It would be better if they have more time to learn about trading skills and enough knowledge before starting to dream of making big money in the market.

My simple thinking, start with a small amount and go big with your skills instead of starting big and going small with no skills. The success of a trader in the market is not because they have a lot of capital, but they are good at placing their capital in assets that are truly able to generate profits for them.
They are supposed to focus on learning first, not thinking to become rich or make a profit instantly. It is too unfortunate but this is a very mindset by new traders and this is what they also heard from most influencers, they have been thought of in the wrong way and likely fall and lost their money fast. But, if they are into their own understanding, they will also know what is wrong and what is right. The more we aim for big, the more we lose - greediness should be controlled as this won't give us good results in the long run.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 15, 2022, 11:15:11 AM
The best game today was the Miami Heat versus the Phoenix Suns.
It's unusual to witness a win from a defensive stance and Jimmy Butler made players and fans see again how the defense is a crucial part to win a game.
That block he did against Booker was so impressive it made me stand in my seat. Goosebumps.
Adebayo took care of their 4th quarter offense but Butler did a lot to prevent Booker from being an offensive monster. A splendid win for the Miami Heat.
And Miami is known for their defense if I'm not mistaken, and that's how they built their team. Butler is a offensive players but he usually locks the opposite player. And we all know that Booker is one player hard to stop, but as soon as you know how to play this guy, maybe you will have a chance to shut him down. And so that's what Butler did, make Booker uncomfortable and that block to like put a dagger on the Suns.

You know that Butler would always play defense, in fact, he is better in defense than offence, so they need someone to help when it comes to producing points because he cannot be too consistent like Curry and Booker who are great offensive players. Also, Booker is clutch so you can trust in him to make the last shot for the team.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 14, 2022, 12:23:58 PM
Thurman is a real challenge for Spence but when it comes down to skill Spence can deliver he is an A1 in his division no one can deny that claim I don't see Thurman beating Spence but I don't see Thurman getting knocked out by Spence too, Thurman's defense and stamina is still good compared to other fighters Spence fought, Spence is likely to win by unanimous decision, he is a very dominant fighter, very technical and likes to wait, expose his opponent's weakness and exploit it.
This fight is worth watching than the Crawford - Avanesyan fight which is going to be an easy fight for Crawford.

This is actually a good fight for Spence because there is no other contender in this division that is capable of beating him in his current prime I'm sure Thurman is happy to be given such kind of opportunity and I can't wait for Thurman to trash talk him once they promote this fight. This will be an exciting fight than Crawford has because he is fighting nobody while Spence right here will gonna fight a boxer that will gonna give him hard times inside the ring. It's just a matter of time before Spence can gauge well how to stop Thurman but until then he will gonna practice well because he is not sure how Thurman prepared for this fight.

Thurman probably feels that he is given the opportunity to fight a champion and for sure he will not gonna take it easy, he will do all the hard work for him to upset Spence and for him to be a champion again. I know it's not gonna be an easy fight for him but I saw Thurman fight, he has a high IQ in the ring, hopefully his injury has fully healed already, so he can take the body shots from Spence.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 14, 2022, 11:53:31 AM
The Brooklyn Nets play is just too obvious. Just don't let Durant get the ball and all is well.  Grin
The Lakers won thanks to that lack of ball rotation from them. Plus, AD is superb today as he leads the team with 37 points and 18 rebounds.
This is the Lakers that I want to see, transition plays, everyone touching the ball to get their rhythm, and letting everyone contribute on both ends of the floor.
They did a great job even without Lebron, I hope this continues.

That will actually continue until LeBron comes back.
I do really feel like LeBron is depriving everyone to play their full potential, especially when he plays ISO ball, he's killing the ball rotation and the momentum.
I know he always plays like this all throughout his career, but he's old enough to carry a team now and the Lakers will not adopt to his kind of play.
Maybe the Nets are not playing well tonight, but the Lakers did a pretty good job to execute a good offense and defense.

I also feel the ball stops at him and he will also hold the ball in rotation then stats added when their play became successful. This hurt on other player because maybe they get bored on that situation. If Lakers could win without Bron in the rooster then maybe its time for the management to decide on what adjustment they should do to maximize all their resources since its huge shame if they lose again and will not reach at playoffs.

Well, actually, Lebron is a good leader because he once gives the Lakers a championship, maybe the role players do not anymore fit with his style. I don't understand why the management send their role players after their success in winning the championship, I guess it's Westbrook who mess up with their system and that's because of their greediness trying to experiment to get better.
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really the future of money? on: November 11, 2022, 02:53:11 PM
Banks cannot compare to Bitcoin. your keys, your coin, and many other things; no third party; problems with failed bank transfers; Since bitcoin is an investment, it will grow in value over time compared to fiat currency. From the start, the goal of bitcoin was not to become the future of money—I love that it was created on anonymity—rather, it was to be a better alternative to banks, because trust is the foundation which Bitcoin was built upon.
It is likely we see the difference between Bitcoin and fiat money. However, despite the thing that fiat inflation is inevitable we still can't say that it soon become useless and make Bitcoin as the future of money. I, therefore, say no, Bitcoin will become widely used in the future because of its interesting feature but never this gives a reason to kill fiat money and proclaimed BTC as a new global currency.
It was not the anonymity, or third-party issue but it is all because people are preferred to us it.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: November 11, 2022, 01:57:40 PM
Everyone has their own perspective of seeing things differently. Like for some bear market are extreme market conditions where they will only face losses. But to be honest people like me see bear market as opportunities. During bear market consider ourselves lucky, as we getting these high priced coins in such a great discounted price. Moreover bear markets are basically just a phase and the start of bull market. So buy as many coins as you can and sell later at 5 times more price.
Indeed. Not all are mad with the current situation. The fact that we have to know that bear season is not the time for panic selling and worries but this is the perfect time for accumulation. As we can see huge investors are even happy about this, they'll take advantage of the market situation. If I see someone selling their crypto because of being worried about the price dropping more, I don't stop them because I let them learn from their decisions. Of course, not really a big mistake but this helps them to know how to trust their investment.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 11, 2022, 01:22:47 PM
There are talks among the world's major central banks to begin the creation of their own digital currencies (Central Bank Digital Currencies for that matter). The launch of Bitcoin, and the widespread popularity of "De-Fi", has led governments to act fast before they're left behind the game. They know they can't beat Bitcoin, so they will try to be in-par with it by launching digital currencies of their own. The average person won't notice any difference with the new digital cash system, as everything would be the same as using a credit/debit card.

I considered this as a sort of currency development but never I think this will put an end to fiat money(cash).
I understand the situation that we need to adopt and make changes to a new one as it seems to be more suitable in this current era. However, we can't just simply reject fiat for not using it as for sure the central banks don't do that but just consider this as another alternative currency like crypto.

 - cash, digital currency, cryptocurrencies -they exist for the seek of living comfortably, and have no way to rid of any of them unless they are not useful anymore.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 11, 2022, 11:39:40 AM
We have 2 games today, first game is between ROS and Dragons, ( we know the winner already). 2nd game is Bolts vs Bossing, same with first game, we already know which team will win.

betting odds.

Bay Area Dragons -10.5
Meralco Bolts -11.5

1st game result, 120-87, big win by Bay Area Dragons.. Once again, they won in a dominant passion, and that high spread was never a problem because it was easily covered. On the 2nd game, it's currently a close game and if Meralco wins here, Bossing will still surely cover the spread.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 10, 2022, 01:39:46 PM
Under the current situation, many companies are facing bankruptcy or layoffs at any time, and we do not know what we will face tomorrow.
Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency? If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?
I think we need to be more flexible at this troubled time. We take every opportunity available around as long as we are capable enough to do it. If we are comfortable working online, then go for it. Well, investing in crypto could be just considered a side hustle. Don't focus on it as it was even more stressful, really.
If we are in a full-time job, we can also do part-time. Might be hard but at this time, seems we don't need to think about it but rather think about what we can do to increase our income as long as we are not compromising our health.

1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge coin of fire, the master is now on the throne on: November 10, 2022, 01:15:39 PM
The trend changed now mate, and look at the former fire? now it is cold  Grin

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/

Dogecoin dropping back to 0.080$ and sooner will be back at the original price before that twitter buying at 0.062 cents.

maybe this is another hard fall back and hope that those  who tries to enter this project are now seeing their wins.
The fire is burning low making us not see the Dogecoin price go higher. I'm not sure if we could still be seeing it again after people had learned about their past. Shilling is been ineffective anymore - only a few people trusted EM and Doge which is not strong enough to make a price rally but just to stay low. Might only we see its price will move high during the bull season but at this time, that gonna be hopeless.

It was traded below $1 - that is already a good price for a meme coin like Doge.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 10, 2022, 12:32:45 PM
Even though akaho has the advantage based on the statistics, I am confident that casimero will win this fight in his new weight class because he is currently in his peak.

What statistics are your basing? Don't you know that Casimero was a previous champion? Actually, I don't even know his opponent, maybe he is not popular, so in what sense do you see that Akaho has an advantage? I'm just curious mate.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 10, 2022, 11:39:26 AM

Butler's chance of winning is really slim and if there's some gambler who will take his ML, then upset
happen that's really decent, but the chance is really slim for that to happen as we all see the bookies
side in terms of placing the odds.

Of course, with a small amount of money, that's already enough just to have fun watching the game. With the attractive odds, one would be tempted to put a bet but of course, does not expect much as we know how good Inoue is, and it's the biggest fight of his career as he will become an undisputed champion if he would succeed.

Well yes, a chance is still a chance even if it's just too slim. The ML on Butler's favor is more than decent and I won't be surprised if there's somebody out there who gambled few bucks on Butler. But for us who doesn't want the ML, might as well wait for the other options to option like KO and range.

What I'm curious about is how would Inoue finish this fight, surely there's a pressure that this fight should be more easy because he even managed to defeat Donaire in mere 2 rounds.

Inoue would likely finish the fight in less than 6 rounds, if he was able to do it with Donaire, I'm pretty sure a low-ranked boxer like Butler is not hard to deal with for Inoue. However, it still depends on Butler if he is willing to fight because if not, this would be a boring fight and will reach the judges' scorecards.

Another game that I'm looking is the Hawks vs the Jazz.

Might do some in game bets though, I wanted to see who is out and not going to play in this game from either team.

This is a good game for sure, Hawks are at home, a slight favorite but we know the Jazz, they had a good road record. I think I'll take the moneyline here since I really love the way they are playing, and look at the standing now, they are already the number 1 in the West, the team that is expected to tank are at the top.
1299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 01:34:29 PM
 - Whatever will happen to the exchange, they don't care about us.
 - it is a common practice by most newcomers and it is a must to change
 - and, we should understand the underlying risk of leaving our funds too long in an exchanges wallet as possibly they can rid it and take control over your funds.

We have to think of all the possible things to happen. And even though they are known and reputed exchanges, still we need to be cautious enough as this is for our own safety. They never assure our safety in the first place.
1300  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: November 08, 2022, 12:46:51 PM
I can't really be expecting that OP, I was hopeless, though.
It was really hard to bring back what happen today. The price increase was about to expect rather than a reduction and besides, it was already a story in the past. I can't really imagine that decades from now, the price went too high and possibly doubled the price today or even more but we have nothing to do with that increase as these traders and business owners also have nothing to do with the high price coming from foreign countries.
