The DC/DC mosfets are a little hotter than I'd like, they're probably going to require airflow over them or heatsinks on the bottom side. We'll see once the production boards get here; there are layout improvements and a move from 1 oz to 2oz copper vs the prototype, so we might be able to avoid needing to heatsink them. With a couple small RAM heatsinks from an old VGA cooler I have on the underside, I'm seeing ~65C MOSFET temps, so cooling temp without deafening fan noise should be pretty trivial.
Not sure if you might wanna test the MOSFETs you're getting to make sure they actually meet the data sheet spec. Reading between the lines of BFLs (mis)adventures, it seemed like they had that issue. I've also heard rumors of counterfeit parts, meaning you think you got a big name 20A part and it's a remarked POS burning up at 5A. As I recall the issue BFL had was that the boards traces were not hefty enough to handle the unexpected increased power requirements. |

At the current rate BFL will knock off approximately 1 month of Single orders every two business days. If they only were doing this back in July  ALL the public complaining, Paypal and CC chargeback forced refunds really are having a positive effect on shipments after all  I don't think they will. Unless they do it at the expense of Little Singles and Mini-Rigs. |

Got a shipping notification from BFL this morning.
60Gh/s Single, order date 11/13/2012; USPS priority
I wouldn't call the shipping estimate a failure, they are clearing 14 days worth of singles in just 1 day.
It's just simple math, They said they estimated they would clear all orders up to April 30th cleared by the end of September. Using your narrow view of just Singles. If they continue to clear 14 days of SINGLES orders a day and they worked EVERYDAY between now and the end of the month they will ship 140 days of singles which would mean they would be close but they DON'T work everyday, they claim full production 6 days a week but the numbers haven't reflected that and they have 2 other product lines to clear as well. They aren't going to make it unless something radical changes. P.S. Until you see an initial scan in your USPS tracking record, it isn't on it's way. |

You don't seem to understand, money/ BTC etc were sent to YOU not Prodigits so unless Prodigits wants to get on here and say "I am now 100% responsible for this entire process" (which he won't) you are still on the hook. |

What is the status of the refund from KNC? International Wire transfers do not take this long unless there was a problem with the info provided. Provide a list of refunds you have provided via BTC with transaction records Provide a list of refunds provided via Paypal with transaction numbers Provide an estimate of what is remaining to be done. Your best course of action is constant communications and daily updates. You have handled this all poorly but you can make it right, the choice is now yours. |

If only huh. Raging/prodigits: What's the status of the refund with KNC? Was a refund actually requested yet? Also, when are they scheduled to ship? Yes refund was already initiated last week daniel. The process is taking time since KnC said the refund to an international bank could take a week or more. We started the process last week with Carl, then on Thursday he came back and asked us for more bank info (ie. routing number, etc.) to make sure the funds get routed properly and it doesn't bounce back. I completely understand the group's frustration and it's truly the worst when you have funds tied up, especially BTCs. I personally had to deal with the whole TradeHill debacle a few years ago so I know well. So that's why right now, I'm trying to refund people back in full from my own BTCs and out of my own shares just to not further delay this process any longer. I've personally already refunded Daniel in FULL, txid: dada844469e8fb3ebdffc249292bf67b93db422025d047b0b6862df5e023efc7 I've also partially refunded piecinitup.
