thank you I cant believe I didn't spot the ver number, well its compiling now Good to hear! Should take about a half hour or so to finish the guide then if you just started to compile.

You have to type bfgminer-4.6.0 instead of 4.2.0 for these commands.
Try typing this command without quotations:
"cd -"
Then continue from Step 7 again, except wherever the guide uses 4.2.0, use 4.6.0 instead and it should work.

thanks that worked now step 6 I type in sudo tar -xvf bfgminer-4.2.0.txz and I get no such file or directory. OK try typing the following without quotations: "sudo tar -xvf bfgminer-4.6.0.txz"

I use a Blockchain.info wallet for quick spending on the go but don't keep much there. The majority of my bitcoin balance is on paper wallets, and I have a Trezor on it's way to me which will be a great addition for securing coins. I also store some in an Electrum wallet too, but again, not as much as on the paper wallets.

I think the neutrals should be a yellow colour or something and show up in the trusted section if they're from users on the default trust. Just saw one vod left and thought he'd left a positive and been removed from default trust for a minute . Yellow text will be very hard to read. What about using blue for positive ratings and black for neutral ones? Or even a green font might work well for positive ratings, and black for neutral.

Nice to see the changes!
I have a question about the trust though - right now it appears that I have 1 trust point, and two more pending. Is there a time frame for when those pending trusts will become trust points? Ex x number of days after the trust has been given? I've tried to figure this out for awhile but can't seem to figure it out.

Those are some nice prices on the 290(X) cards. Got any non-ref 290/290X cards?
Negative. All 290(x) cards are reference cards. Thanks! -EP OK fair enough! I was sort of looking for a card to crossfire with my 290 Tri-X but I don't think I would be able to put up with the noise of a ref card. GLWS!

What courier is the Trezor shipped through? I received a tracking number, but it doesn't show up on any of the following courier's sites: USPS, Canada Post, DHL, UPS or Purolator. EDIT: It appears it was shipped through a Czech Republic courier. Website: https://www.postaonline.cz/

Thanks. Sounds like this was one of three buildings, all of which went up... Sounds like it had about 3PH worth of power? At least that's what I recall reading.
|

That looks like a huge nightmare, I sure hope you were insured as well. How much hashpower was located in those three buildings if you don't mind me asking?

so you claiming that you are satoshi nakamoto the legend who created bitcoin come on man,
Exactly. He wouldn't ask here, he'd probably be sending theymos a signed PGP message asking him to reset his account.

If you want to mine with a VPS, try a CPU friendly coin like XMG. You'll find a detailed tutorial in the op. This, basically. You'll be wasting time (and money) trying to mine any sort of coin with GPU or ASIC miners out there.

Looks accurate for desktop and laptop hashrates, however with hashrates like that it isn't worth running. You won't ever make anything with those kinds of speeds mining Bitcoin.
I don't think this is a traditional computer mining, AFAIK there is not any desktop that can mine in excess of 100 MH/s, I don't think that even a GPU rig could mine at these speeds. I would speculate the OP is using an ASIC from the very early days of ASICs Many GPU's are able to hash in excess of 100MH/s. For example a 7850 is able to hash anywhere from 300-400MH/s, so 100MH/s is quite doable. Wow that is a lot more then my crappy macbook air can do. I assume that in order to reach these speeds you would need to not be using your GPU for video, correct (you would need a separate video card to connect your monitor to) I believe I achieved about 350MH/s on my 7850 while it was the main GPU outputting video and I had it over 400 with a major OC, but that probably wouldn't have been a good idea to run 24/7.
