I wish I could order 1 U3 instead of 20 alonght with an R1.. Sad..  I'll pay for shipping.

Still think they should make a U4 with the new chips.. I need another small miner.  S7 is just too much for me for hobby mining.

Look over in group buy's.  There are sellers such as crazy guy.  He sells them 1 at a time.

He is a very good seller.  There might be others but there are many ways to get 1 instead of that 20 order quantity.

I like to buy from Bitmain directly but no biggie.

I saw ITOP has these for 29$ free shipping, they are legit and accept paypal so looks like you can get them sent to America for a decent price. (HK shipping is slow though) I am guessing bulk buyers are getting a nice discount.

Can you share a link to this?  The top two websites on google did not load for me.  So not sure if it's me or what.

That would be very interesting if they got it for a price they can sell at 29 with free shipping.  If they did get this they will get some sales for sure.

There you go, it is 29$ with slow shipping, I am probably going to snag one at this price.

hmm no way to pay with bitcoin and
Sigapore Post
$179.26

HK DHL
$18.12

EMS
$37.69

UPS
$42.59

i dont see a free shipping option?

why would you be expecitng a free shipping option... that doesn't make any sense.

Nope, 5 years min before we are above $500
1408  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: October 07, 2015, 03:17:30 PM
But you said you had a lot of evidence and thats only writings and how do you know someone didnt hack your account and changed your password? I personally never had problems with cryptsy and i had deposits of over 1 bitcoin i dont know if you had more, they are indeed sometimes slow and your orders got sometimes cancelled but i dont know, i dont think they are scammers and if your account got locked there is gotta be a reason that you are not telling us

it should be impossible for an outsider to bypass both 2fa authentications. did you even read the OP?

Pro tip, it's not even remotely close to impossible... lol impossible that was cute.
1409  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the 100k usd btc or the super bitcoin? on: October 07, 2015, 03:13:50 PM
whoever said bitcoin will be worth $100k on one day is nothing more than a dreamer living in a fantasy world. predictions up to $5K are also high, but not that unreasonable. $100k is beyond insane.

Then you believe it is going to zero.. it is really that simple.

Bitcoin becomes a store of wealth or it dies.  You think BTC will be able to hold a hash rate in 12 years with the price the same and the miners all mining in the negatives...

It's zero or hero that is it.

no. i don't think it's going to zero. i prefer to have a realistic look at the future of bitcoin. don't you also think $100K per coin isn't way too high? my ultimate prediction for bitcoin is max $5000 per coin.

$5k doesn't make any sense...  It's way low.. only nerds use it and it dies or everyone starts using it as a store of wealth.

1/20 millionth  of all the gold on the planet is worth $550 000...  $100k would be 1/5th the market cap of gold..

IMO a hope of a max of $5k is to risky to keep in bitcoin.. oil is a great buy right now.
1410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can This Super-fast Camera be Used to Crack the Bitcoin Code? on: October 06, 2015, 03:27:04 PM
Interesting. But how would that possibly 'crack the bitcoin code'?

I see? Have several cameras set up so to track the Byzantine generals' runners, thus having a baring as to who's gonna crack the code first, then snatch the results. Genius! The only problem I see is that when this ideal gets out, the battlefield would then be populated with paparazzi disabling the movement of the runners, thus, again, further increasing the difficulty.

LMAO, perfect response.

DO I need to repoint my miner?
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can This Super-fast Camera be Used to Crack the Bitcoin Code? on: October 06, 2015, 02:51:43 PM

You are simply in denial. Nobody is talking about breaking any of the laws of nature, the universe, or physics. The idea of a camera that could be made to photograph light waves was an impossibility a decade ago. Now we have it. Why can't we trick nature into breaking the Bitcoin code in a similar way?

Smiley

Do you even math bro?
1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we still early adopters? Or did that pass after 2010/2011? on: October 06, 2015, 02:08:43 PM
IMO we are innovators. Bitcoin is still difficult to use and there are only few users. The technology is still being built.
Most of use are using it and not building it, thus early adopters.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 06, 2015, 02:03:00 PM
If your lucky enough it can be profitable.

Some people are born winner or born lucky

I notice most of it on some betting sites

Never play long term against the house.
YOU
WILL
LOSE.

Do something that the house only takes a cut and is not playing the game.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can This Super-fast Camera be Used to Crack the Bitcoin Code? on: October 06, 2015, 02:00:31 PM

No.. just no.
1416  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: October 06, 2015, 12:50:17 PM
I repeat, the only real photo of the backside of the unit is this:

looks like a US plug tucked away there at the side...why do we need an extra usa adapter for $1 usd then?

It looks like a pair of fold-away metal prongs. BLADED prongs, parallel to eachother.
Bitmain's own pictures of the front show slight dips in the case where prongs would likely fold away.

It seems safe to say there are built to fit a typical US outlet format, without grounding (common for most small electronics).
whatever, i ordered 2 of them anyways Wink
Pretty sure that is just the standard chinese plug, not sure what voltage it runs or how safe it is to use in an American outlet.

Input Voltage

110V - 220V

Will work just fine, Bitmain knows what they are doing.
1417  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN AntRouter R1: 1st wireless networking device with bitcoin mining chip on: October 05, 2015, 06:28:41 PM
I had hoped that the Adapters had been removed from sale so that they could remove the shipping cost for the adapter. Unfortunately adding an Adapter still doubles the shipping cost, which is ridiculous....

Rich

It's not their fault... blame DHL or UPS.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: October 05, 2015, 05:52:33 PM
If you are playing against the house?

NO FING CHANCE EVER, let no one tell you different.  The house ALWAYS wins.

Poker however, god yes the house doesn't play.  People have made livings from poker.  The house cannot be involved.
