1441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: February 04, 2023, 07:48:03 PM
the best players should always play, regardless of age.
Who can say that Messi, Benzema and Modric are too old and should stop playing.
Real regularly wins the Champions League with such old players, and the Croatian football team won two medals at the last 2 world championships with Modric as the main player.
I sincerely hope that Modrić will finish his football career at EURO 2026, and to win any title in football, the experience and mental strength of the team is always important in addition to the individual quality of the football players.
It's difficult for me to say why Germany lost to Japan, but I think the reason is not only weak defense but also ineffectiveness in attack and it is obvious that this team needs some changes and new players in the team.
I am not entirely sure if Croatia would be able to get a title, but it is true that they have managed to shock the world with Modric as their best player and he is considered "old" for football. I get that if you are going to buy a player for a club team, you would prefer a younger player, why not get a 25 year old who has a bigger potential than a 35 year old, but when we are talking about national teams, that means you are going to need that player for a maximum of 5-10 games and that doesn't really matter if they are old or not.

This is why it's quite unimportant how old a player is, as long as we are talking about players that could end up with something decent in the end and provide for the club.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: February 04, 2023, 07:04:30 PM
even though in the composition of the players, Toulouse lost far but in a football game nothing is impossible. Toulouse's chances of holding PSG to a draw or beating PSG are also still there

of all the meetings between toulouse vs PSG, toulouse has almost never won against PSG, and in the match that will occur in the next few hours, it will also be like that, PSG will continue to repeat their positive results against toulouse
In this match, Kylian Mbappe will not be strengthened by PSG due to the injury he experienced in the previous match. This makes PSG lose one of its strengths in attack and Mbappe's position is likely to be replaced by Hugo Ekitike. As for the results, I'm not sure how many scores the two teams will score, but it looks like PSG will narrowly win this match later.
Anytime you miss your superstar is a big trouble, even if he is just relaxing, doesn't matter if you end up winning or losing or getting a draw and that is why unless he is injured like now, they try to play him in every game. Plus they paid nearly half a billion dollars for that guy, which means he should be capable of playing in every game he can, I get that injuries and bookings may happen time to time, but fatigue shouldn't be an issue when you are paid that much.

Moreover, PSG is a good team, and as long as they do not miss more than just him, then we should be considering them as a good team and should be doing very well without a doubt, because they are much better than all the other teams.
1443  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: February 04, 2023, 03:41:32 PM
The cost of production has increased so as the cost of equipment, materials, and cost of workmanship in raising a square wall of rooms. Building a house is beneficiary in the long run but let's make a comparison with the amount you will spend to build your desired house and what it will take to rent a house. To be honest, it is easier to afford a house rent of your choice but you can't build that type if you want to build one yourself, it will take years and if one is not financially buoyant to build a house, the two have an advantage they play but building yours has more on the long run, I wouldn't advise anyone to buy a house because there is a probability of using poor materials for construction.
We also need to remember that rent goes up due to inflation as well. If the price of bread goes up, the electricity bill goes up, the apple new iphones are more expensive, the meal you had is higher, and the workers people hire are more expensive, then what would be the case to keep the rent the same price? That's not going to happen.

So if you own a house, you will want the rent to go up as much as the inflation, so if your nation has an inflation of 10%, then the rent you want to take from the people should go up 10%, if you do more than that's bad, if you do less than it's bad for the owner of the house. This is why I doubt it would be fair for anyone if it's anything but the inflation rate.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans for the 2022 crypto market? on: February 03, 2023, 09:25:21 PM
In 2021 the market was good and enhanced in price but in 2022 the market was very harsh it was not according to the hopes but it was such a bad year that lots of people loss their greater part of money. Now the market is very well and it will go more successful in recent year.

The market fluctuates there is no surety that what will be the price in coming week or month, sometime a person think that now the price is affordable and it will give you profit but certainly it goes in dump so I want to say that prediction of market is somewhat impossible.

Those who wait and hold their coins will be increasing in worth but those who have sell at dump market will be in big trouble because they have not gain anything from the trading. At dump market waiting and holding is consider the key for getting successful outcomes.
A bear market is normal and is expected to occur right after the bull run but indeed that the bear that we had in 2022 is a bit harsh because it lasted for almost a year and I think even up to this date, it's effects are still there but the market is trying one more time to recover. Those who expect for more pumps last time are only greedy because $69k for BTC is already too much and it can be one of the reason on why many of them have lost but the rest have just invested on a wrong project.

I hope they learned their lesson now and create a better plan this year. On 2022 most of our plans might be to stocked up more coins. Congrats for those who did it. We are now close from getting our reward.
1445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: February 03, 2023, 09:18:42 PM
I agree with the argument that most of the players will be in their late 20s or 30s. But in the previous editions, most of the European teams had good players in their early 20s. However this time (Qatar 2022) only a few of the European teams had such players. Some of the teams do have players who are 20 or 21 years old, but they are no match for the more experienced players. Players of the calibre of Erling Håland or Ronaldo of 2006 are extremely rare nowadays. Let's take the example of Germany. They have a few - Karim Adeyemi, Youssoufa Moukoko and Lukas Nmecha. But these players are not even regulars in the playing XI. Most of the attack is being done by Müller, Gnabry and Gündoğan.
That's why all teams have coaches who decide if experienced players should play or younger players. But when you look at the game against Japan that Germany lost, their worst players were Musiala who is 19 years old and Havertz who is 23 (I still count him as a young player). Maybe they would have won the game if their coach put more experienced players into the game from the start. Who knows. But every coach must think about introducing young players and that's best done by combining few young players with experienced players. If they keep playing with experienced players, the time will come when those players won't be competitive anymore and those younger players won't have experience in playing important games.
I think experienced players or young players argument doesn't matter and only better player should play. Doesn't matter how old a player is, if they are the best option for that position then they are the best option for that position, there is nothing else about it.

You could be 18 years old, you could be 38 years old and if you are the player that your nation should play because you are the best, then they should put you in there. Old or young shouldn't have mattered and sometimes it unfortunately did, like in Germany case. I am sure that most managers don't do that though, they probably pick the best players and do not consider age to be an issue at all.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 03, 2023, 07:44:42 PM
Nice to see the Lakers get the win but LeBron only scored 26 so he’s going to need a big game against the Pelicans on Saturday if he’s going to break the record against the Thunder like people think. Personally, I think he gets the record against the Bucks easily and puts up similar scoring efforts in the next two games. Nice to see AD back and the Lakers winning.
He started slow in this game, not sure if it is because of the good defense they put on him or he wanted to involved his team more. So in the process he didn't score 30 points or more.

Might be good to see him break it against the Bucks, remember Kareem played too with Milwaukee early on his career. So still there could be some connections if he break it against Giannis team.
There is definitely no pressure on him breaking it anytime soon, dude could break it the very next game by scoring insane points, or could break it 5 games down the line, who cares? He will be the person with the most points, I think it shouldn't be really that much of an issue when he does it, because whenever that happens, it will be a huge deal without a doubt.

Everyone wants to see it before the all-star break, and basically just celebrate the deal during the all-star break and have it being a talking point, so having it afterwards would be bad, like if an injury or something happened and he missed some games, but so far it looks like it will be beforehand and we will love it for sure.
1447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 03, 2023, 06:43:21 PM
I think bad impact happening for Mason Greenwood after all charges dropped and right now Manchester United have filled his name in the list for English Primer League squad. Its seems good news because Manchester United can use again his service and his potential as the best young player, but have little bad thing because he was absent for several months with Manchester United after his accusation.

Right now opportunity for Mason Greenwood after his name remaining back in Manchester United squad list how he can back to the top performance, still left several matches in Primer League and Mason Greenwood have chance show his potential to public and his career still not over yet.
Yes, that will be a problem, because he has been absent for so long without playing due to all the accusations directed at him. It will definitely take time for a player who has been out for a long time to find his best form in the game again. He still has time to restore his performance which was disturbed by what he experienced some time ago. If he can get his game back quickly I think Erik Ten Hag will also consider making him an option to play a lot.
I do not think that he was just sitting at home eating pizzas during this time neither, sure it will take a while before he gets back on form, but they can make him play in the training sessions as much as they possibly could and that would be lovely start, then they could give him like 10-20 minutes of playing time on games that are already decided give or take (easily winning or easily losing) and even give him full hour or so during FA cup (are they even still in it?) and so forth.

All these combined, by the end of the season he would be ready to play for full 90 minutes. However, they don't even need him for that long, just playing last 20 minutes with fresh legs would be enough.
1448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: February 02, 2023, 06:28:33 PM
Hello, i was watching for few months now and got that most of airdrop campaigns specially airdrop bots on telegram  don't pay participants with tokens. it's a nature that many airdrop bots don't pay or scam participants after getting them promoted through users. but this time it's different i think. before few moths i received at least 10 airdrops per month and now it has been reduced to 2-3 drops per month although i worked even more harder on airdrop campaign.

What could be the reason ?? comment your ideas specially OGs. this is for you.
Having some sort of issues with airdrops during bear market is common. This was a thing all the way back in ICO period as well, which was like 2018, so nearly 5 years ago and we were having this trouble. So, it is not really a shock to me that we end up with anything similar like that, it's quite normal and shouldn't be a new thing to anyone.

We should focus on the fact that airdrops are not way of making money, and instead we should gain some skills and do some free work at first to grow our follower base and influence and then we can charge for it. I have done it before and it worked out, and I think it would be very difficult for me to start over because I am very tired and old now, but younger people could do it.
1449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 01, 2023, 08:18:25 PM
In this match, Real Betis could become a stumbling block for Barcelona to keep going with its positive trend. the reason is, currently Barcelona will not be strengthened by Dembele who suffered an injury against Girona. based on the predicted starting line-up that I read from several sources, Torres and Raphinha will be installed in this match. Pedri, De Jong, Gavi, are still the mainstays of the midfield. the rest, not much change in defense.

Meanwhile, Real Betis will play the full starting line-up for this game. however, if we refer to the last match of their meeting. I think the Supercopa de Espana match is different from La Liga. I mean, yesterday's match was a semifinal battle which motivated Betis to put up a tough fight against Barcelona. however, in this match I think that Barcelona will dominate the entire course of the match. my estimation, Barcelona will win this match with a score of 2-1.
I think just because they are missing Dembele doesn't mean that they are going to end up with a loss, doesn't mean they are going to get a win, but it also doesn't mean they won't lose if Dembele was there neither. It's football and you play it with 11 players, and just because you miss one player doesn't mean that you are going to suddenly su*k.

Haaland is a marvellous striker, he has already scored more than last years top goal scorer, and yet without him City still ends up winning games anyway. That's the type of situation good teams are in and that is why it matters. I believe that we should not be really expecting anything more from Barcelona or anything less.
1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 01, 2023, 04:50:34 PM
Union really gives huge pressure on the bayern munchen. The problem was not only on bayern's defenders. The attacking line seems inefficient too. it can be seen from seeing the results of previous matches.  Bayern got three times drawn against another team in bundesliga.
Bayern was making lots of shots in any of these matches but these shots did have very low accuracy. that's why bayern was always getting drawn. Bayern become incompetent since sadio mane and neuer were absence from starting line up.
I hope bayern will be going up again soon. Seeing union berlin performing so well is also a very interesting thing for me.
Bayern getting these draws are a bit of a trouble for them because it puts their positions in danger and they are not really used to having their position in a tough spot before. They have been dominating the league for a long time now, and they are too used to having a great team that beats everyone easily and end up champions many weeks even a month before the league ends.

Right now, they are too close to other teams and even one loss could mean losing the top spot and dropping a few positions. They need to get back on being great again but it is not that easy because it requires everyone to play at their best and right now they are in shock mode, so it is really hard to play your best.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 31, 2023, 06:49:50 PM
IMO, Madrid should have no problems when hosting Valencia later. the reason is, Valencia's performance was really bad and even was conquered by Valladolid which in the end, Gennaro Gattuso was fired from the Valencia coaching chair. that is, Valencia is in bad shape and Madrid should be able to easily overthrow them. especially in the match later, Madrid played as the home team.

Although as we know, Madrid experienced a slight decline in performance and was five points behind Barcelona. Madrid's decline in performance is not without reason, the problem is that some of their core players have been injured. to the extent that, Don Carlo rotated his midfielder to become a defender during the match against Sociedad. nonetheless, I'm sure Don Carlo will bring his team back to the real track.
We say that about many teams and Real still managed to lose points and give Barcelona the lead by 5 points I am not saying Real will lose, but they have become a team that is inconsistent and bit of a wildcard, they end up with losing at the end of the day and you do not expect them to do that, you expect them to win against all the big teams and that's why I believe that they should not be a big bet for anyone.

You can still bet on them to win, and they will probably win, but lets avoid betting huge amounts on their games, there is a chance they could end up losing and we wouldn't want that to happen when we have such a huge amount to gamble.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 31, 2023, 04:59:04 PM
Ethereum is far better than those altcoins and if I ever have to invest in Altcoin it would definitely be either Ethereum or any other top Altcoin because they have great market record.
Ethereum is always been great since the start and no other coin could surpass it. But there is one thing that affects the demand for this project, this is because of the huge transaction fees that most traders and investors don't like it. However, despite the huge fee, I'd still see that ETH remains on top among other altcoins, and that is probably because the trust has built strong already.
Ethereum has been known for its profitability and that it keeps the faith of investors, short-term or long-term.
I think it doesn't have any huge transaction fees anymore, and I think that's here to stay. We need to remember that ethereum changed so much and it is not the same thing that we remember anymore and it is different. It means that we are going to do something that will be quite easily the best thing ever out there. I know that's not going to be easy, but it's going to be pretty much the best thing we could hope for.

I know that it is going to be what we deal with, but at the same time we are going to end up with lower gas fee that will cause less people to buy eth, or at least not buy as much eth. Back in the day high tx fee meant buying a lot of eth to pay for the gas, now not so much.
1453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you get a time machine now? on: January 30, 2023, 06:33:21 PM
Considering our present as our past, put yourself in the future and think about what your future self would advise you right now.  In this bear market, the price is low. Not as low as in 2008, but it is low now. What are you going to do? Ignore this now and in the future tell yourself when Bitcoin crosses its ATH again that, "if only I had a time machine now"
One other thing I can think of aside from like buy bitcoin cliché stuff, is to learn a skill. Because if it was 10 years ago and I bought thousands and thousands of bitcoin, but did not know how high it will go, I know myself and I would probably sell them all as soon as they all worth a few thousand dollars, wouldn't expect it to be this high.

However, if I studied another skill, I could make money from it. To any person out there who is either 25 or younger, stop whatever you are doing and learn how to code and design. If you know your way around photoshop and similar other graphic design products and can also code and know at least phyton, but preferably one more thing like java, these two skills will make you rich even if you never buy bitcoin.
1454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 30, 2023, 05:56:33 PM
very simple explanation but easy to understand.
but even though AI predictions will be the same as human predictions in general, I'm still not sure about the predictions made by AI.
because I personally am sometimes skeptical of other people's predictions, whether it's from social media or whatever form the prediction is, I don't believe it. I prefer the predictions that I plan myself.
and I'm sure, there will be people who share my thoughts.
I think I agree with you but that depends on the person and not the AI. Meaning, if you trust yourself and you are doing fine, doesn't have to be amazing but doing just fine, even breaking even, then in that case you should be fine without using AI. If you are doing great and basically making a living from sports betting, then it would be stupid to use AI as well, it would be terrible.

However, if you are betting and losing all the time, you can't win, and you lose 90% of the bets you gamble? In that case, I think it wouldn't hurt to gamble a little bit, you could end up gambling and making a bit of money. I think it would be a lot better in that case to use AI in fact, because it would be at least a bit decent.
1455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 29, 2023, 08:06:22 PM
In the Napoli vs Roma match, I am placing Napoli ahead. Because Roma have no better player than Paulo Dybala. But Napoli have a lot of good players in their side, which they have the ability to beat Roma.
It's not caused by roma having only dybala as a good player but roma is not having a good squads like napoli. Napoli has average good players in the club. that's why jose Mourinho was feeling so bad about roma caused by Mourinho being strictly doing transfers for this season. Roma doesn't have lot of money anymore. You will only see a few good players in roma compared with napoli. I would not be surprised if napoli gonna win the match against roma.
I think Roma does have some quality players, I think they are half way there, but they are lacking that much quality in "some" positions. I wouldn't say when you face the rosters on paper 11 vs 11, Napoli would beat Roma on each position, in some positions Roma is better or at least pretty close, whereas in some of them they are just that much worse.

However, it's also about building a system, Napoli has been working towards this for far too long, whereas it has been just 1.5 years for Roma, hence why they haven't shown anything just yet. I think if Mourinho somehow stays (which I doubt) in a few years they will be champions too, because the team will be ready both with new talent and the system.
1456  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 29, 2023, 03:46:22 PM
Plinko on Stake runs very smoothly, indeed. I was impressed how well it works even while on autobet mode, with all those balls bouncing around.
So, you wager cents at the time and hope to get the maximum multiplier eventually, does not sound so bad as strategy... and I thought I was the smallest gambler on Stake's plinko with my dollar wagers.

Good luck.  Wink
it doesn't matter if you are a small gambler and you don't have to get a win, at least you can increase your Wagered amount to get better membership and bonuses, of course, although sometimes playing plinko is a little boring because it uses auto bets there, let alone manual bets.
But increasing the membership level also requires a lot of money, especially if we are small gamblers who don't use much money to gamble. But it is a process and we should live it and not rush to upgrade our membership to reach the VIP level. One day, we will reach the VIP level Grin

I've rarely played plink so I can only wish you good luck if you play plink. I still often play slots and sometimes get lucky in the game to get a decent amount of winning money.
I would say consider that as a road, some people could drive a lambo and go with 300 km/h to reach to that destination and you wish that you had the same thing, and some could have a corolla and drive 60 km/h to reach there. In the end everyone reaches that end destination and there is nothing wrong with getting there slower.

Yes, getting to a new level is a tough job, but at the end of the day you can do it and that is how you are going to end up there, by doing it slowly. I personally believe that we are going to end up with a small amount give or take at first, and then with more time you are going to end up inch by inch closer to getting there, just be consistent when you gamble.
1457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 28, 2023, 08:50:21 PM
We just enjoy every argument that says Liverpool will be easily defeated by Real Madrid in the round of 16 match because Liverpool's performance has greatly decreased in the Domestic League. We are also not so proud of the past history because what we are waiting for is a new history with the new generation.

For the time being we accept that many people do not favor Liverpool in the Champions League, but what must be known is that the Champions League is never the same as the Domestic League and other leagues in Europe.
Maybe Liverpool will answer all arguments with results that can surprise all observers.
I agree that there is always a chance for a shocker and Liverpool is a good team in its core and even though they have been terrible at the league so far, it's clear to say that they could always have one amazing game where they can beat the other team.

They are still capable of doing that and have the players to do that, Salah may not look great all season, but he is still Salah and could end up playing amazing for just one game and get them the win. So all in all, there is still a chance for Liverpool to win this series and go to next stage. However, if we were to talk about "likely" result, we have to agree that Real has been playing much better this year and could win it.
1458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has someone tried to use ChatGPT to help in trading? on: January 28, 2023, 05:26:02 PM
my question is, how well will this script be written by ChatGPT? Will there be some kind of failure or bug at the most inopportune moment? All the same, your money will be at stake and this is fraught with big losses.
When it comes about trading, then failure is also just part of it. No one could give a perfect script for a trading bot which will never book a loss. I am just curious on hearing success stories on chatGPT from crypto traders. It might take some time but I am confident about something such to hit this community as well in real soon.

But the point is, when everyone or at least 50% of crypto traders are making use of scripts by chatGPT then the competition for grabbing a reversal levels will be huge which again lead traders to miss out right trades. It means, when massive number of traders are adapting something then its efficacy will drop significantly as per my understanding. Let's wait and watch what are the surprises to be unfolded by this new AI thing.
1459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market on the Rise, But Proceed with Caution! on: January 28, 2023, 04:55:40 PM
It's recommended to be cautious and to focus on incredible buying opportunities when they arise. Despite the current market conditions, the future of crypto remains promising, with institutions like Fidelity launching new bitcoin products and more favorable regulations in countries like Brazil. Over the long-term, the outlook for crypto is positive.
When we are confident about positive in long run, I believe we can focus on all dips and not only on incredible opportunities. I mean if you are too technical then you might get misled by lagging indicators when filtering out right buying opportunities. Just believing into the fundamentals of bitcoin ecosystem will help and especially at the end of bear markets. Just buy at every dips for small amounts and hold for years to decades and then everything will be fine.

There are some sign around the crypto market that showed, many investors will have something good to achieve soon from their investments if they can still hold for the stable pump to take over the market,
In my opinion as well, only those bitcoiners who choose to hold might get chances to see more profits than the ones who tries to catch all reversal points. Holding got little to no stress still greedy people go for active trading and achieving nothing bigger than holders in the end.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 27, 2023, 09:22:39 PM
AI in betting will undoubtedly affect the game. In order to make better decisions, it's important to analyze data and trends in addition to simply anticipating outcomes. The best part is that it is faster and more effective than human analysis because it can quickly digest a large volume of data.
The "AI" we are talking about is basically kind of machine-learning in most cases. There is no true AI as mentioned before. However, using the current model would mean that you need to implement insane amount of data into it.

For example chatgpt was created by using unimaginable amount of data feed into it, I am not sure how much but it was some amount I never heard before, I know giga, terra and peta but this was even more than that I think. All in all that is the hardest thing to do considering the game is something that evolves constantly, even now a team could buy a player from another team, and you need to adjust, that would be the hardest part to adjust on any AI out there.
