Hi Patrike,

Is there a way to give more details for "dead device detection" for gpu mining rigs? I'd like to know which gpu died. Thanks.
Hi,
The dead device detection feature is mainly supported by ASIC miners and only a few GPU mining software can actually report to Awesome Miner if there is a GPU issue. So it's unfortunately not possible for Awesome Miner to automatically figure out which GPU that caused the problem.

For GPU mining you can use triggers like "Device Count" to detect for example if the number of GPU's goes from 6 to 5 all of a sudden.

Hello Patrike, I would like to remind you to see if you could make a dark theme for the desktop version of the program.

I'm very busy at night with the computer, I have the MAC with a dark theme, I have Chrome with an extension to see everything in the dark, but when I enter the remote machine and see AM I burn my eyes with so much white at 5 a.m. morning...

I know that this function is for WEB because it is easier, but I hope you have it in consideration to make a darker or gray option with less white.

ALREADY willing to remember. in Statistics that we see what was mined yesterday, in several days, etc ... I would like to know in 24 hours if a SOMETHING has been 50% of the time, to know how many changes it has made and the average time it is mining in each change.
This will help a lot to know which are annoying coins that enter a moment and fall fast.
I fully understand your point about a dark theme for the Windows app as well. I've received a few requests about this so it has not been forgotten and the plan is to make it happen in a not too distant future. It will first of all be the Miners tab, Coins tab and so on that will get a darker theme - not every single dialog you can find in the application.

I also have a number of notes about improved statistics as well, including the points you bring up. Thanks for all feedback!

SRBMiner exit is graceful as in the miner exits after shutting down the miner threads.
Can u forward proper exit commands to TeamRedMiner as well, cause the miner is abruptly killed without allowing it to shutdown the miner threads.

Feature Request:
Miner fee -> most benchmarks and hashrates are before the miner fee is deducted, is there a way in which u can add the miner fee to the hashrate chart for accuracy.
Eg. miner A has 100mh @ 0% fee => 100mh, but miner B has 101 mh @ 5% fee => 95.95mh, Awesome miner selects B as the better miner cause miner fee is not taken into account.

In my profit profiles, i have manually adjusted the hashrate with different fee for each miner, would be nice to see awesome miner natively support this.
Awesome Miner is sending the same close events to all mining software.

Are you running TeamRedMiner as Administrator? That's a scenario where it can be more difficult to get the mining software to terminate in a nice way. I will investigate that a bit more.

Is this miner fee you are referring to a dev fee for mining software/firmware or more of a hosting fee for your miners? I assume it's specific to the miner and not to the pool.
In the Profit Profile Properties, Power and cost section, you can configure additional costs per miner, but it's currently only a fixed fee or additional power usage - not a percentage.

Thanks for all feedback!

No, running the miner without admin privilages.

Yes, im referring to the dev fee for using the miner.
eg, SRBMiner and TeamRedMiner have many common algos, but the dev fee for SRB is 0.85%, for TRM is 2.5% huge selection difference.
Saving the TRM hashrate as 100kh/s for an algo makes less logic, when the actual is 97.5kh/s.

When I stop TeamRedMiner via Awesome Miner, the console window of TeamRedMiner says "Shutting down..." and then it will exit right away. Don't you get any console message at all?

Awesome Miner do have a behavior to kill the mining process if it didn't resond to the first request to shutdown. Maybe you can increase the time Awesome Miner will wait to see if TeamRedMiner just needed a bit more time to close down in a nice manner? Increase the value of: Options -> Mining Settings -> Wait for process before terminating.

Thanks for describing the case about dev fee as well. Awesome Miner doesn't have any feature today to do this on a mining software basis. Some mining software also have different dev fee depending on algorithm.

Just started mining Ryo and the profit is showing $0.00 but it's mining ok (hash rate is 7.4 kh/s)

It looks like it's removed from CoinCalculators.io main listing due to low volume.
You can manually add it back via the Options dialog, Statistics Provider section, where you can add a CoinCalculators JSON URL:

Good afternoon. automatic agent update does not work.

There are no logs in the new Claymore.
Hi,
1) If the automatic update fail you can try to manually use the link above to upgrade. If it still doesn't work because of the uninstallation process, you can force the uninstallation using this tool from Microsoft:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

2) If you run Claymore miner with Administrator privileges, Awesome Miner should still be able to show the log on the Console tab. The log file is also written to the file 'console_output.txt' located in the same folder as the Claymore software.

1) If I click "Upgrade Remote Agent" is upgrade previous version

2) Yes, but Claymore Old logs are not saved
Thanks for the updated details:
1) I would actually recommend a reboot of this remote computer to begin with. In case there are pending Windows Updates to be installed on next reboot, these can prevent other installers from running correctly.
If this didn't solve the problem, please uninstall Remote Agent manually and then install it again using the links above.

2) Right now the log file will only contain the latest log of the most recently started Claymore process. Once you start the process the next time it will clear the log. This behavior cannot be changed in Awesome Miner right now.

If a coin is found to be most profitable on an exchange that is not yet in the exchange list, the coin tab will report a valid value, the missing exchange, and daily earnings; however, it will be grayed out and never auto-switch to that coin.

Is there any way to make the exchange list dynamic against the statistic provider's list so that new exchanges are added automatically?  This way, the app itself would not need to be updated on each new exchange that pops up.

For an example, XRD uses citex.co.kr and remains grayed out since it has not been included in the exchange list as of yet.

Thank you and keep up the great work.
There are no feature for this today but it's a good point.

Thanks for the nice feedback as well

Think there is a bug on tool "default pools via web"

When ever i apply a new default pool on reboot of S9 it activates ELPM
The most recent development versions of Awesome Miner has some internal changes to how the default pools are set on the Antminer via the web interface. It should also be a bit better at avoiding these kind of side effects. Can you please try if version 6.4.4 works better?
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: May 25, 2019, 09:45:13 AM
Based on what I can see in the linked thread, I assume this is only a matter of executing an SSH command on the Antminer? Awesome Miner can do that via the rules already today. Any SSH commands can be sent to an ASIC miner.

This works fine for SSH enabled firmware, which is not the case with the resent firmware, or and gears . would you please add it to be excused using the web interface just like the new "reboot" function?

The second one from top is what i am talking about.
Thanks for your feedback. I looked into this recently and it could possibly be supported, but it's a bit high risk to make these changes over the web interface.

The reason is the quite bad design of how Antminers apply web related settings and it's not possible to modify only a single setting. It's not even a one-to-one mapping between the settings you can read from the Antminer and the name of all the parameters you need to set if you want to change one single property. It's also different depending on firmware version and probably some differences between the Antminer models as well. The bottom line is that it will probably be possible to find out how to do this on a specific firmware version of S9, but it will not be a general feature with great compatibility.

I wont to start with admin Claymore 14.5 but this  ERROR

Failed to start miner process: Пoтoк StandardOut нe был пepeнaпpaвлeн или пpoцecc eщe нe был зaпyщeн.
Is this the error message you get when the mining software failed and you selected to run Diagnostics? That should be supported in the latest development version 6.4.4.

Can you please let me know if you run version 6.4.2 or 6.4.4? If you run 6.4.4, is this for a user defined Managed Software?

Hi

I have  just purchased Awesome miner professional, expecting auto profit switching for antminer Z11.

Now I noticed that  Privileged API access is not possible for Z11.
Does this mean I cannot use  auto profit switching?

Is it possible to use auto profit switching by web interface?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Sam
Hi Sam,
The most recent Antminers like Z11 doesn't support SSH and Privileged API access by default. This is a decision from Bitmain and there are quite a number of users upset about these limitations.

One solution is to use the updated Z11 firmware released by @efudd here on BitcoinTalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036968.msg50664518#msg50664518

With this firmware you will get SSH access and Awesome Miner will be able to set Privileged API access on your Antminer. This will also make it possible to run the profit switcher with the Antminer.

Although Awesome Miner do support configuration of the three default pools via the Antminer web interface, this is not supported by the profit switching feature. The reason is that a change of default pools requires a restart of the mining process and mining time will be lost.

Hey Patrik,

no. My power-rules trigger only after minutes, not seconds. On running miners and on fresh started, its all the same. Any idea why I have such delay? I disabled the log, but even with logging it seems not to be faster. Is there any difference between the used mining software? For me all looks the same, but right now I just only using Trex, TRM and CryptoDredge.

Its nothing dramatically, its working and thats great. But maybe you have a settings in mind what can affect this. But can you add the additional power too?
I will make an update to the next release to include Additional Power if the trigger is configured to look at the entire miner power usage. I will also make another small change that might improve the speed a bit, but I cannot tell if it will improve in your scenario as well.

The trigger should be able to fire from the point where you start to see the GPU's in the GPU tab. How fast the GPU's show up here will depend on how fast the API of the mining software is to start up - for some mining software it takes a little longer time.

Hey Patrik,

I upgraded some rigs and just wanted to test the newer Wattage rules. They seems to work, but they only trigger after a few minutes on all relevant rigs together, not instant.

For example: I set 4 rules to 4 rigs, each with a stupid trigger which will force the rule to be activated instant (like >100W, <5000W,...). After clicking OK, nothing happens. But after a few minutes, all 4 trigger will be activated at the same time. Tested with admin rights, without, on differents rigs (Iam using Win10 on all). But its always the same picture.

Is there a trick to force the trigger to be instant?

Edit: Is it possible that you dont add into calculation (Device Power Rule -> Compare with miner total power usage) the additional power in the Profit Profile Properties / Power and Cost?
It's supposed to be more or less instant, but it will not trigger until the API to the mining software is connected. I do get this power trigger to fire in 10 - 20 seconds from when the miner is started.

The Additional Power is however not added. Can you see if you get the trigger to run correctly with this in mind? Thanks!

http://prntscr.com/nqzdw3
http://prntscr.com/nqze48
The point is how to correctly show?
Is the issue that the power usage here doesn't match the total power usage in the miner list - for one of the miners? Where these screenshots matching the two first miners in your previous lists?

The only scenario I can think of where the numbers can be different is if you have a Profit Profile, where the "Power and cost" section for the profile is configured with a value for additional power usage.
seen this bug too, the power and the temp are "not in sync" - but are mixed between GPUs.
so in this case AM shows wrong power usage or wrong temp for some GPUs, and you can't map them to be correct.

most likely you'll be able to reproduce this behavior if you have TCC and WDDM GPUs installed together.
Thanks for the details. I will try to reproduce this with a P104 in combination with GTX1000 or RTX2000 series.
I just wanted to give an update on this. Your observations were correct when mixing TCC and WDDM GPU's and looking at the reported Power Usage. A correction will be implemented in the next release.

Hi

I have noticed problem with few of my miners when running administrator mode (required by latest claymore miner) that miner wont start and tells "normal" error:

Failed to start miner process
1. security or antivirus softaware can detect....
2. use diagnostic button....

Without administrative marked in Managed Miner Properties / Environment miner works OK. Any ideas why this is happening only on some miners (All Windows 10).

Cheers!
Can you please send me log file via the toolbar Tools -> Log File menu. If you use Remote Agent, please provide the Remote Agent log file, otherwise the Awesome Miner log file. Please send via mail or link in PM. Thanks!

Can you also check if "IntelliBreeze Software Maintenance Service" is running in the Windows Services dialog? You can access it via Start menu ->Run: services.msc

Can u add Bus ID to the "Map to System Monitoring". No idea if they are in BusID order or OpenCL order
The device order is based on the order returned by the GPU drivers. I can include PCI Bus ID in the next update.

The plan is also to improve the entire concept of GPU mapping as there are a number of cases where Awesome Miner actually would be able figure this out for you.
