1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 27, 2023, 09:22:39 PM
AI in betting will undoubtedly affect the game. In order to make better decisions, it's important to analyze data and trends in addition to simply anticipating outcomes. The best part is that it is faster and more effective than human analysis because it can quickly digest a large volume of data.
The "AI" we are talking about is basically kind of machine-learning in most cases. There is no true AI as mentioned before. However, using the current model would mean that you need to implement insane amount of data into it.

For example chatgpt was created by using unimaginable amount of data feed into it, I am not sure how much but it was some amount I never heard before, I know giga, terra and peta but this was even more than that I think. All in all that is the hardest thing to do considering the game is something that evolves constantly, even now a team could buy a player from another team, and you need to adjust, that would be the hardest part to adjust on any AI out there.
1462  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 27, 2023, 08:39:20 PM
In my opinion, now Bitcoin is in consolidation, reaching a new bottom, although possible, is unlikely. This year there will be a recovery in the price of bitcoin, but ATH is definitely not worth the wait.
Finally people are seeing that the bearish trend is over and we are going to recover. I am not expecting it to beat ATH and be 70k+ but at the very least chance that we should be going higher, and that means we could be doing a lot better, like 40k would be a real dream come true and it could very well happen this year.

We are already over 23k which is a great start to the year and the first month is not even over yet, if we can keep this momentum going all year, even if we have some drops here and there, it should be having some good reactions and we could go up a lot. I personally believe that we should be expecting a good return if we can, and 40k would be a great goal for us.
1463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: January 27, 2023, 07:45:40 PM
People buy altcoins because they’re a lot cheaper than bitcoin & even though it’s a lot more risky to buy & hold centralised alts, they can bring bigger returns than bitcoin. It’s not something that I am particularly comfortable doing but some people risk it all in alts.

I find that avid altcoin investors are very interested in fiat profits which is different to a lot of bitcoin only investors. Many of the latter believe bitcoin could become very important in the world of finance, maybe a means of moving money for global trade or even the world reserve currency in years to come. I don’t think for example, Shib investors think that’s possible with their token.

Do your own research & be careful out there.
I think it is quite controversial topic. After all we are talking about something that could bring in a lot of trouble to people if they keep doing it, and that is why I believe that we are not going to see so much of it praised here, because only like one out of a thousand projects end up with a profit if you want to invest into altcoins. Look at how many coins and tokens out there, over tens of thousands of them, and look at how many actually made money for the investors.

This is why many people prefer bitcoin, because we know that one will go up, maybe not 100x, but it will go up. So, either you pick something that will go up a little, or you pick something that may go 100x or bust. That's a big risk and nobody could suggest it.
1464  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 27, 2023, 07:14:02 PM
That is the same person that we are talking about, most likely he is an avid gambler too as I said but I am also quite confident that he should have tons of referrals also as his id is really low with just 5 digits.

That is crazy betting though,100 Btc wagered means that he has gambled like 5-10 Bitcoins which is a lot of money and I don't know why they do that, they sure win the daily jackpot or monthly jackpot but those amounts are ridiculous compared to the money they spend and even thinking to get that Lambo win is something that does not guarantees you will in profit so I have a hard time understand their ideas.
If his account ID is only 5 digits it means he is an old player like me but it looks like this person is not only a whale on freebitcoin but maybe has a youtube channel or an author as well which attracts a lot of people to play on freebitcoin so he is getting easy money now from his referral income for a few years, of course it may be because he only plays with free money from that income rather than his own money, I believe he doesn't use his money betting that big  Grin
I feel like there are people who end up with a lot of money because they are early investors of bitcoin, and those people tend to like the situation they are in with the money they have and know exactly how they would like to spend it.

If this person wanted to gamble as much as possible without ruining their finances, they knew where they wanted to do it, let's all remember that this is one of the oldest casinos in the crypto world while also being one of the earliest faucets at the same time. Which means it's both famous but also it is so trustworthy that it has been around maybe near a decade and never had any customers faced any troubles. So, where else to spend your time if not here?
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 27, 2023, 12:56:50 PM
There are a lot of talented and aggressive players in the Indian team. It may be possible for them to defeat a depleted NZ side. We can expect a good and even contest. The two teams are evenly matched.
When India toured New Zeeland, last year after T20 worldcup, India managed to win the rain interrupted series under skipper Hardik Pandya now India is facing them in their home soil hence I am not expecting any different result. But, T20 matches are highly oscillating one based one particular player's on that day performance. So, I am not placing any bet for this match even I speculate India is going to be clinch this series 3-0.

the BCCI is no longer interested in scheduling India A and India U-23 tours.
Does not need to mention, these kinds of changes definitely impact on quality in international stage if BCCI is going to provide opportunity only for IPL performers. Have seen enough failures of IPL talents in ODI and T20I.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: January 26, 2023, 09:25:41 PM
Greed is one factor another is the lack of having a whole number coin. 0.01 BTC seems like a small amount to someone who does not know the cost of 1BTC, but 10,000 Shitcoin sound like a big number even though the shitcoin is worth dust.
The idea that they could end up buying 10k of a token that doesn't worth much when they snub 0.01 bitcoin is the biggest reason. I have seen so many people who bought millions of shiba, and they said it was "millions of it" and if it is even 1 cent then they would be all rich. We all know that couldn't happen, and we all know the marketcap it would require to get it there, and yet they still couldn't understand that.

Not to understand something so so simple, like elementary school level of mathematics, is the reason why we make money because those people lose their money to us, people who know math. I am glad about it because if they didn't, where would we make money from.
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 26, 2023, 08:45:32 PM
While it feels like we are in the beginning stages of a bull run, it also feels like we made a pretty big move and now we’re seeing profit taking from the short term traders. No idea how long this will continue, but I think it’s pretty bullish if we hit $24K before falling back below $20K. At this point it’s a game to try and tire the leveraged longs out and build some more shorts before making the next big move.
Isn't that normal? I remember at least 2 other big bull runs, and I am not saying it will be the same and we will break ATH or anything like that, but in all those big bull runs we had short term traders taking profit, and then we moved on to make more profit.

I believe that we are going to end up making a profit anyway and it should be just a temporary hiccup for now. Not saying it will be huge, but just because we had a small drop doesn't mean we will go down and go back to bear market, I think bull will continue as soon as this commercial break is over. We have too many people who bought at low, so we need to wait a bit before they all sell out and bull resumes again after that.
That's right, I remember last time in 2020 to 2021 period during new years 20k was a hard price to crack, it was the previous ATH so it took some time to go over it, and it moved between 17k to 20k levels up and down constantly, it moved between those prices 5 times before it could finally crack above 20k, and I believe that the same type of movement will happen again.

Not at the same price probably, but it will have hard time going higher and it will move up and down many times before it could go up again. This is common because everyone thinks maybe they should take profit, and some others know it could go up even more, so we let the sellers get out before we continue higher.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: January 26, 2023, 06:25:31 PM
I honestly question why Mauro Icardi came to Türkiye. Like he has a foot similar to Drogba, he may be in top 10 in world if we compare finishers. I didn't see that good finishers even in world cup tournament last month. I guess only if his private life was better, he would be playing in top teams at England or Spain. Icardi will be one of obvious reasons for Galatasaray s success this year in long run. I expect him to score even lot more.
He has the capacity to play in much better teams, but playing in Turkey is a bit more comfortable than playing in other countries. He doesn't need to practice a lot or exert himself too much. There is a lot of competition in high-level football clubs and it is a little difficult to be an indispensable player in such a team. In Galatasaray, he is the king of this team, so it must be tempting to play here. He may also feel a little more comfortable with his personal life Smiley
I am pretty sure it was a bit about convincing as well. I mean if Galatasaray convinced him and PSG, then that is the reason, it's not like just picking the best team for you at all times, it's also about picking the best situation for you and how much incentives and leeway a team would give you.

If he asked for some stuff that was normally not acceptable from a player, like not join any training and just come from game to game, and Galatasaray accepted while nobody else did, that is all the information we need. Dude had some personal issues, and the team probably gave him time to handle all those as he wished as long as he was ready to play, and that was enough to go there.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tom Brady's Gambling and HUGE loss. on: January 26, 2023, 04:49:21 PM
I think whatever he does, of course he already understands the risks, so why do I feel sorry for him, while we also know that everyone when betting anything is of course conscious unless he is drunk, but I think that will be an important lesson for him  Wink
It's because we think that he wasted his money as far as his association with SBF and his failed project FTX. And it cost him his marriage too, he has a good life already, all he has to do is think about his future and his family.

But I guess that is too much to ask for a athlete or a personality like Tom who thinks he can always win in this game called life.

Now he is back to square one and thinking how he can bounce back financially.
He hasn't lost everything? I mean people are acting as if he lost all of his money, but this dude earns that much money per year, let alone all the money he has made so far. He didn't lose all that he owned, he still has a ton of investments and assets which means that it is not all of his money, he will be fine financially. Hell this dude could retire today, become a broadcaster and still could make tens of millions of dollars every single year from his new job and commercials.

He has a name and that name alone would worth a lot of money. Whereas, his marriage is a different story, I am not sure if it was because of this or not, but it seems a sad situation indeed.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 25, 2023, 06:22:03 PM
Every big team experience such games in which they lose points despite dominating it with their game.

It was the same scenario for Bayern Munich against Koln. Koln were able to go for only two goal attempts but still one of them ended up with a goal. They resisted incredibly well despite Bayern Munich's trying everything they could. The captain Kimmich still became his team's savior in the 90th minute but Koln still got what they wanted. This kind of point losses are nice to see for Bayern Munich in my opinion because these are keeping the championship race alive for teams like Leipzig for example.
Indeed, if the league is controlled by one team and is far away from other teams it is very annoying and there is no competitive friction that makes the league interesting to watch, the Bayern Munich match against Koln is of course everyone's prediction that the match should be won by Bayern in this match. , especially those who have bet on Bayern in the match, of course they are shocked by the results of the match.
Regardless of whether this is a scenario or not, I think it is appropriate for Koln to play in a draw in that match, on the other hand Leipzig scored a 6-1 goal against Schalke and were in second place in the standings before Eintracht Frankfurt vs Freiburg and Union Berlin vs Bremen which are in 3-5 standings with 30 points.
I do understand that it could become a bit boring when one team rules over everyone, but that team managed to do something that was good and sustainable and allowed them to be as good as possible in bundesliga.

It requires some finance to keep a club running at a high level, and the more money they got the more they invested into long term future of the club instead of just getting results right away, which resulted with them having financial freedom to build a team that can be sustainable, which they achieved 10+ years ago and ever since those days they managed to be the only team at the top. This isn't some hidden secret, other teams are welcome to try it as well.
1471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me about the coin portfolio. on: January 25, 2023, 04:31:30 PM
I usually invest 70-80% of my assets in Ethereum.
This is a one way of beginner's mistake and this may be the right time for converting your ethereum or altcoin investments into bitcoin. Instead of doing with ethereum or any other altcoins, you should do for the same 70-80% with bitcoin for securing your future. If you are a short term player which is the reason why you are dealing with ethereum, in my opinion, you are again making another blunder mistake. Realize about the true potential of long term planning with bitcoin and plan up for conversion as soon as possible.

My altcoins consist of coins in the top 100 list, and waiting for altcoin season to come back so I can sell them at peak prices.
Unfortunately all the coins in top 100, not scaling its peak at a time. It means we need to cash out whenever one coin gets into profit zone. I am also holding lots of altcoins to sell off at break even points as I have lost faith on them to make me rich.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 24, 2023, 09:50:21 PM
Like other great players from the past which still mentioned even today for sure lebron's name will be called out due to the legacy he left once he officially retires. Maybe for now he's not thinking that since provably his target is to surpass Kareem's record and be the top 1 on all time scoring title. For sure fans would miss how Lebron play since it will take more years to discover the same like talent or close to on the league.
His goal was always playing with his son Bronny, he will play one year with his son and then he will retire, not because of 40k points or anything because that will be this year. Basically there is 2 more years of Lebron after this season, this year will be Bronny's senior year in high school, and next year will be Bronny at college freshman, so 2 more seasons like that, then Bronny will be drafted and we will see Lebron and Bronny play together, so it's three years not just two, but we could see two more years at Lakers because we won't know who will draft Bronny just yet.

After that, Lebron will probably be free agent, and whoever drafts Bronny will get Lebron as package, and for cheap too, and we will see them play together and then Lebron will retire, that's going to be a sweet season for sure, a farewell tour basically for him.
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 24, 2023, 09:06:43 PM
Now bitcoin has started to increase again to $ 23k and there is a possibility that the price will continue to increase after yesterday's correction. Yesterday's correction turned out to be a small correction that had too much effect on the bitcoin price so that the price did not fall too deep and could experience another increase today. I feel that the next barrier for bitcoin price is at $25k.
Barely holding $23k, but I do agree that it's nice to see that price after a long time. But we need to hold and sustain this price, because from the looks of it, doesn't yet that sustainable. And if I'm not mistaken, we hit $23,500 before the correction. So we need to see that price again, if ever we can reach that in the next 5 days or at the end of this month.
Holding and sustaining the price is only possible if everyone in the market trusts what's going on. There are too many people who think that bitcoin is not where it should be and they are afraid that it will go down, too many people are worried that we are going to crash even harder and there could be even a lower bottom after this.

If we keep fearing upside, then we will go lower, however if we get hyped about the current situation then we could be going even higher and that will be much better, it would allow everyone to work towards making bitcoin price higher. For this to happen we need to keep buying and keep saying good things about the current situation in every possible place.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 23, 2023, 08:51:29 PM
The prize tag on every players signed by Chelsea is so ridiculous. How on earth will Chelsea pay the sum of 106m just for Enzo Fernandez? I believe clubs are doing this probe to Chelsea's current situation. Enzo is leaving a lower league to play the most competitive/difficult league in football, and I doubt if he will play up to the expectations. Chelsea should have a careful thought on these transfer terms, £106m is so much for a young guy who just began making a name in football.
It is 100% just a situation where Chelsea overpays for one player, then the other player is asked the same, if you pay someone who is worth 20 million and you pay 50 million for him, then when a player worth 50 million is suddenly asked for 100 million is not a surprised.

Every team expects Chelsea to overpay right now to recover the terrible season they are going through. In any case, if they still luck at the end of the season, the whole management should change, not just manager, but all of front office too. Owner did what he should, he spent money like he should and that's all he is responsible for, it's the management that sucked and got the terrible players.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 23, 2023, 07:49:04 PM
I don't think we can judge Real Madrid just by its poor performance this season, because last season when Real Madrid won the Champions League was also the reality that Real Madrid was not having a very good performance. Not only that, even when Real Madrid played and then the available odds never put Real Madrid as the favorite team to win.
So, whatever performance Real Madrid is currently experiencing, they will still have the chance to go further and even win the title. But regarding Manchester City, I personally am still not completely sure because even though Manchester City has a very good squad, but they often find it difficult to win.
I think it's clear that people should never underestimate Real Madrid during any UCL at all. I am not saying they will win it this year again, I think City will probably win this one, they are looking like an unstoppable force right now and only problem they have is Arsenal having one of the best seasons they ever had, and that's why it looks a bit hard on premier league but they could even win that if Arsenal loses a few times.

I think UCL is still very important for Real Madrid because they are famous for being a continental team. Hell, it was their president that wanted to build the super league, which I think is not a bad idea but a bad one just for the league, I think UCL should turn into a super league which it is going towards that route.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is FTX going for a reopen? on: January 23, 2023, 06:55:00 PM
A brand is highly tied to trust, respect, and credibility. Is there anything left about those aspects when people hear the name of FTX? I doubt there is any even for a minuscule amount.

I believe rebranding won't even solve it. The news about the reopening is merely sensational bait about FTX, the media loves it, as does the public who gets "triggered". We should note that the main thing we should take from what the article conveys is that mainly the reopening goal is simply to repatriate the funds, which what it is all about is beyond my understanding that the process of Chapter 11 bankruptcy is required to go through that path.
I think the three qualities that you said there are all the same and it still points about being fair and not a scam. We all know what happened to FTX. The exchange collapse due to miss handling of funds. Although this seems different from being a scam, but still it's a turn off since many people have affected about it. They are investors on that company obviously and as well as who only invest in normal cryptos are seeing a decline on their portfolio.

If FTX reopened it can cause a mixed feelings or feedbacks which are both positive and negative. Positive because as you said, people hope that their money will be returned and negative because a second collapse can happen again.
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana blockchain on: January 22, 2023, 08:33:39 PM
Of course, there are many factors that negatively affected Solana, including the actions of SBF, which actively acted on pumping and dumping some tokens, including Solana, which Alameda used as collateral for loans, such even began to be called "Samcoins". But be that as it may, Solana continues its development as a blockchain and, for example, fulfills its promise to release a Saga smartphone for which it has officially opened a pre-order in 33 countries.

Archive of an article in the New York Times about how SBF used FTX to pump some tokens: https://archive.is/T3XkX
I don't think Solana is that centralized to be pumped and dumped easily. SBF is only one of it's supporters but we should also consider the thousands of people who invest in the same project. However the collapse of FTX have affected the entire crypto market and not just Solana. After it I think Solana also faced some problems which worsen their price evenly.

Alameda have the rights to use Solana as their collateral whenever they take a loan because it was their own possession. They pay for the coin to be able to acquire it. It's nice to know that despite of the hardships Solana is facing now, they still have the passion to pursue their project.
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 22, 2023, 08:08:21 PM
There are a few matches that I think are worth watching this week because apart from Monaco against Marseille there are other matches like Lorient against Rennes and Nice will host Lille.
I think these 3 matches will be quite tight. but for Marseille I think I already feel they have won even though Monaco have been quite strong this season as well.
I think that the match between merseille against monaco will be the most interesting match compared with rennes vs lorient and nice vs lilla. Marseilel has been placing in the top 3 which was under Lens while monaco was under Marseille. Marseille will able to surpass lens if it will able to win against monaco. Lens itself will be facing a weak team. I expect lens to get full points and there will be no change in the position of french league. I have picked Marseille. Bookies were giving 2.25 for Marseille which is a very good odd for me.
Marseille has more than 60% probability to win the game against monaco.
I would agree with that too. This week looks like a good time to bet, it's definitely one of those weeks that made some good money and I think it will go on like that. I am not entirely sure if I will get them right again, but ligue 1 has been looking a bit more top heavy these days and for the past 5 years or so the top teams changed too much, and this time around the teams that are not PSG ended up being a little bit better and that is the reason why it's easier to wager on the games.

For some reason or another before this season there were like 10-12 teams that could beat each other, and that wasn't really good, but this year there are like 3-4 teams that could beat everyone else and that's great.
1479  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: January 22, 2023, 07:02:33 PM
I am strongly in favour of desktop applications or even web based, as I think that phones are usually to small and I do not really trust much the apps, but there seems to be many people who would rather use their phone. Is that because they do not have access to a desktop computer? It may also be a regional issue, the same as people that do not use a browser?
I consider the ambiance of using a desktop suitable if I'm gambling as I've preferred not to move the screen left and right or up and down as it only distracts me. The wide view helps to clearly see what happened. However, we can find the advantage of using the phone for gambling as you can carry them wherever you are.
But anyways, it all depends on us as gamblers. We choose what we think is comfortable for us.
If it's about the ambiance, I think this will depend on the gambling site that we are using and not about devices. Some gambling site is just poorly built. There are some who only look nice on a large screen so pc/laptop will win here. There are some who look okay in desktop view but looks pretty sharp on mobile because they have a mobile application. I am not a fan of installing app on my phone.

I think the reason is because my phone isn't a high end one so I am afraid that it will lag and will affect the other apps that I primarily use, so I don't care even if the gambling site has a decent mobile app but I will still visit the gambling site in either my mobile browser or on my laptop.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who survived previous winter, please share some courage! on: January 22, 2023, 09:35:41 AM
Newbies can't figure out what really happens in the past few years and I understand them but I think it is also important for them to know about it. Perhaps, it was their obligation to search back and understand why old investors are encouraging them to hold. It is important to educate ourselves and don't just remain as newbies, we have to enhance our knowledge as well even though we are new in the crypto market. Otherwise, we never go far and remain ignorant of what happened before.
That's fine, they will live and learn. I mean I didn't understand what was going on in 2014 and 2015 period neither. I thought that in 2014 we were going up so high that it was always a shock the more it went up, and I didn't think that it would ever go higher and it still went up, it was insane period because it was the first time I saw it rising like that. Imagine seeing it at 30-40 dollars and then one day it was like 1400 dollars, that was insane.

Also following that it crashed to 150 dollars or so, did not see that as a thing neither, didn't know if it was dying or not. After that 2017 was a bit more expected, still higher than I expected, from 700 low on 2017 to 20k high, that was a lot, but it was expected to go up at least. So in 2021, it was just boring good old increase that I always knew that would happen.
