Philly won with a strong game. Harden was unfairly kicked out and didn't play in the last quarter, but Maxey still filled that gap by playing well. Embiid should have been kicked out in my opinion. The referees keep making weird decisions. I think this series was over when it was 2-0, now it's 3-0 and the Nets have no chance. I said they played with weak opponents after the 2nd game, there were those who said that the Nets were too strong here, but we saw who was right.

Just show the depth of Philly again, no Harden and yet the Nets wasn't able to exploit that. I mean they are in the good lead even in the last minute of the game. But for some strange reasons, they can't score and then they didn't guard Maxey who took that 3 and that should be the dagger.

Dinwiddie try to drive and he was lucky that a call was made. But after that, Philly score easy and the Nets missed that shot.

I thought that they are going to take a win in this game as they are in control of the game and Joel Embiid is not moving great. Most likely he is suffering some injuries after this game.
I understand your point but it also shows that Nets doesn't have depth. Maybe the easiest team in the playoffs. Even though Embiid should have been definitely kicked out and even if he did, Nets didn't have a chance. It is not because of Philly is great, because Nets are weak. Referees are indeed making unbelievable calls sometimes. Embiid should have been absolutely kicked out. The other calls are also questionable. Philly should have moved on quite easily anyway but the real playoffs are starting for them after this series.

That's exactly it.  In the playoffs teams need to be 8-9 deep.  Once your starters are out you can't just let the other team come back.  Nets are gonna rebuild and they have some decent players.  They are at least a couple good drafts away from being anything worth worrying about in the playoffs.

It's funny how people around you just pissed and ruined my day because they missed the crazy gains from PEPE, a shit meme coin that's making some noise online since two days now, it really got people good  Grin I mean those who missed out.

I am not surprised at all because PEPE devs or team, whoever they are used mathematical scam to deceive those people, PEPE solves no issue we are facing in the crypto space, not a single one, yet people FOMoEd

Some people claimed that 26$ was invested and turn 1.2million dollars, but from my own findings I don't think it's true and there is nothing to prove it either.

I was able to find out that those who invested 50$ to 100$ where able to make 8,000$ and they cashed out, very expected from a human, that's already a big gain, but some wallet addresses failed to take profit and now they are sitting on millions, who does that? With a meme coin.

I believe that the Devs are the ones using small amount of money to buy the token themselves, those who are really from investors are wallet that took profits before the millions of dollars gain became a thing. Do not be fooled.

Apart from this, PEPE has now opened a deceiving portal for investors, many will crave for a project like PEPE and the crypto space will witness a new numbers of King PEPE, PEPI INU, BSCPEP, PEPE Finance, something with PEPE name.

What do you think about this project madness? Will you dare invest in a project like this?

People will always put there money into get rich quick schemes, they have for eons not just with crypto but any kind of scam.  Even when they know it's a scam they still cross their fingers and throw it in the middle.  Simple word to describe this, greed.  So long as there is a story of one person hitting it big there will always be followers.  Sad because most will just lose their money.  It's a zero sum gain.  For one person to hit it big many have to fall victim.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 03:22:14 PM
That's the advantage of Philly here as there are players who can step up and help win the game, I was in the impression that
Nets will win the game as they manage to rally in the 3rd quarter.

But it was the determination of Sixers role players they really play well both from the defense and offense side to manage escaping the home team.

Possibly sweep by the Sixers here. If they will choose to rest earlier, they can complete this first round with 4-0 lead.
Tyrese Maxey felt his hot hands on him that night. He even tried a heat check and it still went in.
Embiid has not much of a help in their offense that will be registered on paper but he actually helped spacing the floor. The Nets always try to double-team him, perhaps they don't really need to. Just trust your teammates and I am sure they will do an awesome job. Claxton did until he was ejected because of taunting. Just like how the 76ers trusted PJ Tucker to defend Cam Johnson which is also a threat when left unprotected.
76ers at 4 may not happen but I doubt they will give up the 5 at their homecourt.

I think they are gonna sweep now.  I expect them to press down on the pedal to get this one done and over with.  Last night the Nets had to win.  Had to have taken the air out of them.  Only thing I worry about is if Philly plays too loose knowing they got multiple games to wrap this up.  In the end Philly just has too much for the Nets to deal with.

Laid off last night and probably a good thing.  Gonna lay in on all 3 games today.  First one is an easy one for me no thinking involved Smiley

Knicks -1.5.  At home and basically a pickem.  The garden is gonna be lit, I expect a good hard nosed game that the Knicks pull out.

Wolves +2 at home.  Home games in the playoffs can't be played down and getting home dogs is an easy one for me.  Gimme the wolves

Same story on the third game, Atlanta +5.  Getting a decent amount of points.  I don't expect a sweep in this series.  Trey should shine as he normally does at home.  Gimme the home dog here.

Good luck and enjoy the games everyone.  Go knicks!!
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 20, 2023, 08:53:42 PM
I'm not a huge slot guy but I think of it more in terms of fun.  Playing slots that have bonus games that make it more fun.  Go in with only the amount you are willing to lose.  And don't chase bets.  If you lose so be it.  Dont make it worse by taking money you weren't planning on gambling with and lose that.  That's where things go sideways
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 20, 2023, 08:49:38 PM
Laid off last night and glad I did would have went even either way.

Tonight I got all 3 games in and it goes 2 home teams and one away team:

1) memphis even.  I still like Memphis in this series amd not convinced with the Lakers.
2) bucks -8.5 at home.  I think Bucks make the necessary adjustments on Jimmy buckets and without Herro in they will need another shooter to come up huge.
3) Timberwolves.  Last game was terrible and they played like crud.  Expecting a closer game all the way around.  I'm counting on a back door cover with Denver winning but not covering.

Wolves folded at the end otherwise would have been a sweep.  I'm wondering what the line will end up at for the next Lakers and Grizzlies game.  How does ja factor into that.  I can't see Lakers winning both at home so I'm probably just going money line with the Grizzlies for the next 2 games in LA.  Need to check out tonight's lines still.  Love playoff basketball time!
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 20, 2023, 08:47:45 PM
We gotta remember Lakers is the 7th seed, and Memphis is the 2nd seed in the west right now. I can understand why many people want to see Lakers winning and even odds showing that but remember odds are done based on your bets, so if you bet on Lakers to win all the time, and most people do, then the odds would be better for them to win, doesn't mean they are the favorites.

I still think that Lakers may end up losing this series, after all the seed should mean something and yes upsets happen but they are not the common one. How many 7 seeds have won against 2nd seed and how many 2nd seeds won those series? I bet most of the time 2nd seed ends up winning the series, and there is no reason why it should be any different now.

Agreed.  Brooks is doing all this to get under the teams hood.  Maybe not Bron but the rest of the team is going to change their game.  Ja will be back and I expect Grizzlies to take this in 6 or 7.  I just don't think Lakers have enough to win in what is now a best of 3 series with the Grizzlies.  First game I think was a wakeup call for them.  Lakers are good.  Just no depth.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 20, 2023, 04:02:36 AM
Timberwolves and Nuggets game of the night.  The other 2 were terrible.  Wolves played like crap in the first half down almost 20 going into the half and now up 2 going into the 4th.  That third quarter was amazing.  And even though they gave up the leave at the end Nuggets started tearing it up.  One thing I found out is Jamal Murray is completely back from that terrible injury.  Dude can't be covered.  Gonna be a sick 4th.  Sitting on a wolves +8.5 bet.  Will give me a 3 for 3 night.  House money at this point.  Gotta believe the 4th will be even better than the 3rd was.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 09:31:00 PM
Too much money coming in on the Lakers.  Vegas never loses, I'm taking the home town Grizzlies here.  With or without Ja I'm taking them.  Ja playing will just be a bonus.  I'm still not convinced the Lakers can keep this up.  I could be wrong.  But betting on a home team as a pickem in the playoffs can never be a bad bet.

Risky bet. The odds of Anthony Davis getting injured or LeBron James getting frustrated are probably higher than most people think though, so you’ve got a shot. If AD and LeBron are playing 35+ minutes though I don’t think the Grizzlies have a chance. We’ll see. The more interesting matchup for me tonight is the Timberwolves and Nuggets.

I agree with the wolves being a good game think this one should be a lot closer.  Rarely do you get a shot to bet on a home team pickem in the playoffs.  And they still win at a respectable rate without ja.  Desperation type play always becomes a factor 2.  They don't want to go back to LA down 2. It's gonna take a couple people to step up.  Tyus has to have a great game tonight.

1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 19, 2023, 08:43:27 PM
I am just curious to know why people favor one Sport over another, when it comes to betting? Is there specific Sport that increase your win chance or do you bet on those Sport for other reasons?

I know most people will favor certain Sport, because they know more about the players or the teams and information is power, when it comes to betting... but some Sport are 50/50 when it comes to the outcome of the match. (One lucky punch or kick can make a underdog a champion)

Please share your thoughts...  Tongue

Most likely has to do with their knowledge of that sport.  The more you watch and are interested in a sport gives you a slight advantage to know when you shoukd or shouldn't bet.  If you don't watch it, you have no way to know if a line is favorable or not.  I got to think that's got to be it for most people.

And now the Warriors are down 0-2 and Draymond Green is suspended in the next game. So might be very difficult to overcome that as he is one of the leaders for this team and then don't want to be down 0-3. The good news is that the series shifts to their home court is Chase center and we all know that they have a good record in their.

Their big 3 will have to step up, they have the championship DNA in Curry, Thompson and Poole and Wiggins.

They just have to work double hard in this series as the Kings is very different now with Sabonis and Fox leading them.
To be honest with everyone and I know that I will be mocked for saying this but I never truly believed that Draymond was a helper at this point. Sure back in the day he was amazing guy, he was the glue guy, everyone else scored easily anyway so he defended and passed very well and that was a great thing, we all remember him getting a triple double without points, that is as Draymond Green as it gets.

However, that's not him anymore, he is becoming more and more a liability than asset, and I feel like him missing these games could actually help them out more than it hurts them. Plus, it is just one game right? If they can't win a single game without him, maybe they should not get a win anyway, that would be very sad for them.

Draymond not on the floor is not a plus to them.  Not to say they won't win but it very much has to do with how good golden state is at home and how bad they've played on the road.  Their other options covering sarongs isn't going to be any better.  He does more than just what's on the stat sheet.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 18, 2023, 04:04:47 AM
Both are skill based yet former is considered sheer gambling while later is not. Fantasy sports has become norm, while on the other hand if people come to know that you bet on sports you'll be met with eyebrow raise.

^ that's my opinion. What's yours? Do you consider both of them same or different?

Way different.  That's like saying poker and slots are the same.  One you are playing against the house with Odds skewd in their favor, the other you are playing against other people.  If you are better at something than other people over time you will win more than they will.  It's the whole against the house or against other people that separate the 2.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 18, 2023, 04:02:45 AM
My pick for tonight.

Philadelphia 76ers (-3.5) vs Brooklyn Nets = First Quarter Win 1,86 Odds.

Sacramento Kings vs Golden State Warriors (-2.5) = Golden State Warriors  Win 1,86 Odds.

My last bet lost but, I hope my picks for tonight will win.
Good luck guys.

It's amazing how much golden state gets the benefit of the doubt.  They are a terrible road team all year long and they are favored on the road against a quote better team at least by record.  Getting close to the end of the 4th quarter but how can anyone bet on golden state favored on the road against a higher seed.  I still think they will win the series but no way could I lay in on them on game 1 or 2.

Dang those are some sweet pics.  Was the sale price for that 1/1 piece publicly told?  What did you get for it if you don't mind me asking.  And lastly did you pull that or did you pick it up off of someone.  So many questions! Lol. I missed out on all the fun early on.

I sold the 1/1 Mini Glossy for $6,000 USD which was 1.5 BTC at the time. (Yes, I still regret it.)

I originally paid $3,000 USD, so I shouldn't really complain. Undecided

Regards,
Chris

So you sold it for $45k all good 😁

The only game here I’m not feeling confident about is the Bucks and Heat. If Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo have big games and manage to contain Giannis, I feel like they could make that a close game.

I think Bucks can handle this and I’m more on hesitant on betting to Lakers than Bucks right now since they will play against Grizzlies on the home which we all know Ja is so good. Lebron has a high chance of choking on game 1 on playoffs with the current roster.

Lakers just manage to do the win streak run because they are facing teams without their core players available. So literally they are just playing against the enemy team bench player and still they have a hard time on some these matches.

Still early on but the Lakers aren't playing too bad.  I'm hesitent to bet either way on any of these games in that series.  In the other games I got

The Suns -7.5
Heat with the points +9.5
And I'm also taking the Timberwolves +8.  KAT and gobert should keep this close and not let jokic take over.

Enjoy the games everyone and good luck Smiley

Caught the Miami game with points wish I took the ML but is what it is.  Suns right now down 3 and staring down a game 1 loss.  My saving grace will need to be the Timberwolves.  I'm feeling another upset and really thinking about taking the money line on that game.   I haven't looked but the umders seemed to be have hitting more as well.  Anyone have stats on on the over/under so far?

I am aware that DCA is better in a coin you know will last somehow long depending on how long you have to DCA.
DCA is the only means that is easy for me to buy coins. Which altcoin can you recommend for me to start DCAing till  halving when the bull run is expected.
I am afraid , that before bull run such coin might have problems. I don't want coins above $100, so that it will be possible to run on good profits if the investment works.

First off coin price is not relevent probably more so the market cap of a coin.  But either way if you are looking for a good project that should have a good run up through halving would be MATIC/POLYGON. Project has been progressing nicely and is hovering in a good price range at around $1.15.  Either way DCA isn't a bad strategy through the halving.  Good luck to you.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: April 16, 2023, 07:57:30 PM
What I meant was that there are sites, sportsbet.io is one of them, accepting bets on the nominees:

Maybe somewhere we can bet on who comes for second and third, but I don't know such places. Those opportunities, imo, would also be attractive.

I am quite surprised to see such strong odds for Biden and very unfavorable ones for Kamala Harris. Given the fact that the next POTUS elections are 1.5 years away, there is a good chance that Biden's health deteriorating further making him incapable of participating in the elections. At the same time, odds for Ron DeSantis look too favorable for me. His ratings have gone down like a falling knife over the past 2-3 months and even in Florida he is trailing in opinion polls. But then, I need to admit that he has plenty of time to recover.

I'm surprised at the trump odds more so than anything.  I think there are some die hands that will lay money on him but I can't see 2024 with him having any real shot at POTUS. I wish we can bet the other way and bet on who we think WONT be the next POTUS. wonder what the odds on trump would be for that.  Would be very telling what people really think.
