1501  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Transaction without Internet. on: May 29, 2020, 11:18:11 AM
Kaya ikaw, sa tingin mo ba na posible ang Offline transaction in the future?

Being realisting on our currenty situation in the Philippines I doubt they would prefer this solutions, kung hindi parang magiging alternative nalang talag sya kung walang internet access for Bitcoin transactions. We aren't that technologically inclined and our country is also pushing for internet availability lalong lalo na nagkaroon tayo ng 3rd telco which will be operating in 2021. Dito palang alam mo na parang ma-oovershadow ng internet access ang other alternatives. Also @OP gaano ka-dali maka-access sa isang LoRaWAN network? If it is more complicated then connecting to a WIFI access or turning on a mobile data baka maging unappealing sa mga tao kung may added steps pa sya.
Ngayon ko lang nakita 'to.

It seems na ganon na nga yung mangyayari, the idea is just for alternative incase na mawalan nga tayo ng internet like magkaroon ng disconnection ng towers or sa submarine cables.

Hindi naman siya ganon ka-complex kasi we can integrate smart apps on this or application sa computer na mas mapapadali ang paggamit, similar sa mga 3rd party apps na user-friendly at madaling intindihin.

1503  Economy / Services / Re: JacksClub.io - Signature Design Contest [PRICEPOOL 0.045 BTC] on: May 26, 2020, 09:05:20 AM
If oHnK, finaleshot2016 and rhomelmabini can send me their BTC Address than the escrow can pay everyone.
Already message you my BTC address, will wait for the payment. Thanks, @JacksClub good luck with your project!

Nice contest, this will be a motivation for me to practice more on creating signatures and to do my best in the next contest.

Well done everyone and keep safe.

1504  Economy / Services / Re: JacksClub.io - Signature Design Contest [PRICEPOOL 0.045 BTC] on: May 25, 2020, 04:21:13 PM
Congrats to @Jayce and @oHnK, I'd already predicted that someone from you will be picked.

For the community favourite we can use a poll but as Loyce already stated; it can be abused.
If the members with valid signature designs can agree, we can split the prize like this:

finaleshot2016 (0.001 BTC)
roycilik (0.001 BTC)
rhomelmabini (0.001 BTC)
bigatenz (0.001 BTC)
TotSamiy (0.001 BTC)
Seems fair to me.

Since the voting poll can be abused, nothing we can do but to split since all of us tried our best making a sig design using BBcodes Smiley

Lols, my bad of not knowing this contest a few days ago. So I created the design in illustrator to try my luck. I can create an ASCII text image of my design, just incase. I have been creating ANN thread and sigs before.
It's fine mate, same opinion with them. At first look, it's very smooth like wt- mate, how did you do that signature design, the icon aren't pixelated.

We just posted an image of our work to avoid copying the icon made of ASCII blocks and that's how the signature design contest works, will look forward to your designs soon.

Can I still send my design later?

So if I can still submit it, where do I send the design.
According to the deadline, you have almost 22 hours to submit the design. If you want to participate, I think you have to post the design here. Post only the image for different rank user, do not post the bbcode here. That's how a signature design contest run.
Thanks & noted.  Shocked

1511  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MGA DAPAT IWASAN NG MGA NEWBIE(IWAS SCAM) on: May 22, 2020, 08:27:41 PM
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 22, 2020, 08:01:46 PM
To talk about my personal opinion, gambling is an entertainment method for me. Also, gambling is something that can make money while having fun. Although there is no guarantee in gambling, it is possible to earn money and we can earn it while having fun. For this reason, the best definition of gambling for me is that it is a money-saving entertainment method. On the other hand, gambling is also preferred as a method where I can evaluate my free time.
Same with me, nothing else.

I don't want to think of gambling as a major way of getting income/profit 'cause it's not stable and sometimes it's very unreliable.

So probably, I'm just gambling if I found something easy to bet like when I know who's gonna win in the eSports tournament. At some point, even I'm betting, it makes me feel thrilled and excited so that's the way how I treat gambling. Gambling can be also a stress-relieving method like playing online games, it makes me feel calm and stay positive during circumstances in life.
It should be on this way but there are people who do go cross the border and treat it way more than it should be where they do already come to a point on where they do bet out to gambling just because they do mainly aim
on making profits which they do believe that it can sustain out their living which is nearly impossible but there are fellas whom do manage to do such stuff but we know that this is only good for skill based ones.
gambling is indeed for entertainment and should really be a stress reliever not a stress creator because we cant really deny that everytime we do lose money we got stressed or becoming too emotional.
Yes, if we have a losing streak, we get stress and there's nothing to recover from that but to chill and find another way of entertainment. So it means if we treat gambling as profit-making and ended up losing then the purpose of gambling as a stress reliever will be defeated.

I hope gamblers knew this thing, especially those who're playing chance-based gambling games, just always make up your mind that it shouldn't be a money-making activity to avoid losing a lot of money.

Where to get help?
1. Your doctor or other health professionals
2. Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation
3.Gambling Help Online - counseling and information services including a peer support program.
4. Gambler’s Help Tel. 1800 858 858, TTY 1800 777 706 – 24-hour telephone counselling service
5. Gamblers Anonymous Tel. (03) 9696 6108 – a support group for people with a gambling problem
6. Gamble Aware – information about the odds of winning, how gambling works, and when to stop
7. Lifeline Tel. 13 11 14
8. SuicideLine Victoria Tel. 1300 651 251
All these urls are finishing by ".au". And as far as I know .au is the Internet country code top-level domain for Australia.
Since only few users come from this country here, it would be more relevant to propose some websites for other countries, or some international ones at least, IMO.
True, I hope there's an international platform not only applicable on one country. It would be non-sense if you tried to contact them which is out of your country. Since gambling problems is a wide issue, it's better to contact your local doctors 'cause they already knew what's the best thing to do since they knew how the environment works in their own country.

Since @OP posted this on gambling discussion which is an international board, I guess indicating international websites like WHO or world health organization.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FreeBitco.in Auto Free Roll Collector on: May 22, 2020, 07:24:59 PM
Here is the new app on Android for auto roll: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.crypto4all.freebitcoinsmartbot, basically it will use your RP to roll without captcha while you sleep so you can earn 24 times a day.
That is interesting if we can click roll without doing anything, and that can help us to collect free coins while we sleep. But I am not sure if that against freebitco.in the rule or not if we use that script because they will be aware of this. I won't damage my account by using something that can break their rules because I use freebitco.in for fun and collect free coin while I have much free time now Grin
Ofcourse they're against with it, clearly, they're giving free BTC for their users and you'll just bypass the system by using some script.

Same with me, I already tried script when I don't have enough idea about it, and I thought it will work well but ended up losing my earned BTC in the free roll. I might use this but not for my main account, to check if it's really eligible and essential, I don't want to use my main account just for this and obviously this trick should be forbidden.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 22, 2020, 07:06:41 PM
Gambling's sole purpose is for entertainment only but then, money was included and now it evolves. We have a different perspective on gambling, for some, it's a way of earning money and to the others, it's just for entertainment only.
I guess this differ to a person and their situation because some of them are bored with only gambling as a hobby and there are also merits to it. It's a one shot to becoming a millionaire. But for me i only play with small amount as i dont really play seriously, it's just my way to relieve stress and enjoy some challenges.
One thing that disturb me when people use gambling as a quickly rich making money opportunity is that chances of losing the money is much higher than making it. Also in order to earn money from it if they lose, they will keep playing till they win it and this may take much longer and at times people in this process becomes so much addict that they have many side effects of it.
Same with me, they thought it's an easy way to earn huge profit but in reality, it'll end up in huge losses because of that thinking. They will keep trying even though they're having a lose streak because they're blinded by the huge pot. I hope people wake up and think properly about spending money especially if it's money dedicated to your family.
1517  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Promoted to Hero Member on: May 22, 2020, 06:48:11 PM
Nice move @RaptarX, you're already a hero member.

Continue to grind and few more steps, you'll reach the last rank on this forum which is legendary, good luck.
Merit was introduced to stop the massive spam from account farmers, and I think anyone who isn't a spammer shouldn't be restricted by Merit. This forum (and Bitcoin) needs new real users to grow.
&
If you are here with the sole purpose of earning, I guess you will have a huge hard time ranking up.
Thank everyone, specially Heisenburg_Hunter for the 500th merit on my profile (Although he thought I was lacking of couple of merits for Hero rank while I was lacking of enough activity).
It's fun to be a part of such a forum.
Agree on this part, and only few people get the idea of ranking up because their mindset is all about the profit. Well, we should also congrats those people who have already manage their ways to become more productive on this forum in order to rank up. Congratulations again @RaptarX!

1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Physical Gambling Casino Simulation through GTA V on: May 22, 2020, 06:14:49 PM
Is this because of the free GTA V in Epic Games Store? I guess it is because it was mainstream in gaming recently and many gamers claimed already this free game, and I'm one of them. Well, the casino is very interesting and the game itself because we can buy a lot of items for your character.

This diamond casino has a feature where we can deposit real money but can't withdraw money from it, that's the only disadvantage I see. Well, rockstar made a facility for those who are gamblers and at the same time gamers, they can stay in the game, and most likely, it's for fun and entertainment only because we can't earn any actual money from the game. So, if you really prefer earning real money in online, better go to gambling sites not in GTA V 'cause it's only a game that has a feature of gambling.

It's similar to Red dead redemption 2, game from rockstar too, and has a feature of online gambling game.

#ThankYouHealthWorkers

On March 31, we started the Coronavirus Relief Fund.

We have raised and donated BTC 2.69 to Direct Relief so far.

The last round goes live at 19:30 UTC on Friday, May 22, so let's make it count!
Good job freebitco.in!

This will be a great help for those front-liners that sacrifices their lives just to cure the pandemic level virus.

I would personally try to gamble as much as I can during this period, instead of actually buying, I feel like when gambling there is a chance that I could both make a profit AND get tickets at the same time

Buying ticket increase your chance to win. At the same time, buying ticket is kinda like gambling as well infact lottery is just a gamble.

You could choose either to spend money buying ticket directly or earn your ticket through gambling. Both are actually pretty much the same though because there is no guarantee that you might win something from your gamble . You could lose everything then get some ticket which is the same as buying it directly
Well, the common idea is buying huge amount of golden tickets will increase your probability of winning. It does not mean you'll surely win in the lottery if you buy more, it'll only increase the chances and even a user who has only 1 lottery ticket can still win the game. So I guess doing both, gambling and getting golden tickets is the right way, it's like hitting 2 birds in just 1 stone, buying tickets will cost a lot of money.
1520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 22, 2020, 05:52:25 PM
The fact that you're using Bitcoin in any activity like online gambling, you want to be anonymous on that platform. This is one of the factors that gamblers considered for choosing online gambling. Most of the crypto gambling platforms do not require KYC which is gamblers are afraid of, there's no need to put even single information about yourself.

Also, they can get a lot of benefits when they're gambling on crypto-related platforms, the first one is to gain a lot of profit when BTC's price surge and the second is free BTC rolls especially when you're an active player on that site.
