1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining altcoins? on: April 11, 2019, 03:10:52 PM
I think that mining altcoin is attractive for small miners. The complexity of mining altcoins is lower than the complexity of mining Bitcoin. Therefore, I think that small miners will actively mine altcoins.
The result will be the same and there will be no a lot of differences. It's not so attractive to consider mining just like a competition. The only chance for small miners to mine small coin and when that small miners are trying to mine big coin and it will be the same as you mine bitcoin. It's about the competition to get more and more hashrate.
1602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China may ban bitcoin mining soon. on: April 11, 2019, 03:08:11 PM
I am very sad by this news
SHANGHAI:HONGKONG
china's state planner wants to eliminate bitcoin mining In The country according to a draft list of industrial activities
The agency is seeking to stop in a sign of growing government pressure on the cryptocurrency sector. China is the world's largest market for computer hardware
designed to mine bitcoin and other crypto currency even though such activities previously fell under a regulatory grey area. It did not stipulate a date or plan for how to eliminate bitcoin mining, meaning that such activities should be phased out immediately.
Please present your views
Here valuable forum members
How many times i have heard china was planning it, I can't even count it. You can try to search for a lot of similar news that has already created by china. Remember if china was banning bitcoin a lot of funds were moving from china to the korean and miners will try to search an alternative way for that.
1603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Tether Bring Down Bitcoin? on: April 11, 2019, 03:01:34 PM
I have heard that theter actually has equivalent of dolars to tether in bank account so I think it is somehow stable. The connection between Tether and BTC price is most likely real.
Have you seen the latest news from tether if tether company doesn't have a lot of money to cover all of USDT that already issued by the company itself and this has already published at the same time with the migration of tether to the tron news.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A shot at portfolio re-organisation on: April 11, 2019, 03:00:17 PM
I love bitcoin and it is always better keeping your money in bitcoins when the market is at a downward spiral (as opposed to a lot of shitty coins going down to zero). With the bears almost over, it sounds reasonable to re-organize your portfolio to include a lot altcoins. We may see a drop in bitcoin dominance and a lot of cash moving to the altcoins. Below is a snapshot of bitcoin's lowest dominance and summary of how cash moved to altcoins
(https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/)

Please what are your best 3 picks among the top 100 altcoins? Some side notes will be nice.

(Not meant to promote any coin, just your opinion)
Binance, ethereum and MCO/CRPT. Just try to remind you to think it looks a good choice to see the potential coin like veil and any other lower or medium tier crypto like enjin too. Because the small coin should be a chance to get a huge return bit that involved a big risk.
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP With The ICO Garbage on: April 07, 2019, 01:35:56 PM
Charts actually prove nothing. Why so?
Many of little volume exchanges use fake volume to make it like has huge trade and volume to attract more users to join their platfroms. These were spoken many time by people. Do you think these fake volumes is possible to be happened on the platform you noticed above?
Are you kidding me? he was mentioning that platform so many times and this is a kind advertisement thread only. Any exchange site has the possibility to manipulated its own volume because they are called a centralized exchange site.
1606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: April 06, 2019, 03:43:15 PM
now only when bitcoin has experienced an increase in ICO prices itself is no longer changing, and it is still the same in terms of quality and makes people not interested anymore to invest in ico
not not interested, I think for ico who is really good it will still get investors. those who cannot attract investors are those who are less mature in pre-project implementation.
Investors are getting a lot of knowledge about how to determine a good ico and that means they will always to do a lot of research before they will try to invest in the ico again. Competition is really strict right now
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Veriblock IEO finish in 10 seconds, what's your take? on: April 05, 2019, 10:52:42 PM
I think that the ieo will gain investor confidence for several months. But personally, I am also afraid to take part in them. For me, this method is similar to the usual pamp. Someone wins, someone loses. It rarely happens that everyone stays at the top.
That's not true. when you are participating in the ico or IEO and then it goes 3x or even more and as a part of those early investors and you will get instant profit except if there will be a different part of the distribution. I hope you can understand that.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 05, 2019, 10:51:21 PM
so far the IEO has been effective for raising funds. maybe this is the fastest record to raise funds for several years. and I disagree if Iico is still said to be the best way. actually it's hard to starup really successful by using ico.
It looks true if this is the fastest ico that raised its hardcap instantly. As long as the developer can work perfectly and it can be trusted and then they can create such a big hype to attract the investors. Remember these investors will come based on the development progress and have you see TOP ico?
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 04, 2019, 03:16:25 PM
there have been many complaints about KYC for bounty hunters, increasingly protested and discussed more and more projects that require KYC.
in the end I believe that inevitably we have to follow the rules of the DEV and the team of the projects we follow.

That is if you still insist on doing bounty hunting and if you still must insist to do it with projects like that. Maybe it is time that people rethink what they see the crypto market is and realize now it is no longer a get rich quick scheme? I mean guys, nothing is free. And when teams see nothing but cheats, fake shilling, and ZERO return on investment, why do you think they ask for KYC?
KYC is often asked already to most of the campaigns today but if you have doubts about giving your personal details, then find another campaign that would not need any KYC. For me KYC has really a good purpose but as a human, sometimes we tend to think negativity over positivity.
That's indeed, but i think any ico that interested to implement KYC verification must need to give awareness when they are creating a bounty announcement. this to avoid there will be a lot of cons with the participants if they didn't know that will apply KYC.
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets be careful on what we are investing on: April 04, 2019, 03:09:09 PM
Follow market trends and keep updated information so that you invest assets properly.
IEO new trends in investment, at least you participate.
There are so many IEOs these day that worth investing in, but the problem most investors have is that, they sell out so fast and at they end most people miss out. Imagine the IEO on Bittrex that got sold out in just 10 seconds.
It's until so many people start having access to it, before we can all feel its  real impact.
It caused by bittrex was putting non sense max amount to buy that token, it must be decreased to create a fair competition to all of the participants. Remember some people may use a lot of accounts to participate in that IEO.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA vs ADA - Which has a better future/potential? on: April 04, 2019, 02:36:58 PM
Hiya!

It's been a while since I touched crypto, "hodling" what I have. I now have a bit of money I'd like to put in and it came down to Iota or ada but I'm not sure which one is looking better? I've lurked around their respective reddits to get a feel but the posts are usually either "mooooon!" or trolls/fud.

I imagine the posts here may not be all that different? lol but anyone have a good idea of which of the two may have a better future? I don't really have a lot to invest in both so was hoping some light could be shed or at least I could pointed in the right direction.

Thanks!
I will vote for ADA and i was seeing it from the utility usage of token. IOTA can be used only to create an instant payment system because basically that's not a blockchain tech but IOTA used DAG tech. ADA is much better for me personally.
1612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO are good for startups seeking funding. Is IEO efficient enough? on: April 04, 2019, 02:31:06 PM
IEO much better than ICO for now, Many market exchange start to do IEO.
The exchange market behind IEO give more trust for investor . also IEO is more secure to invest
I tend to agree that it would bring back trust to the investors but as far IEO is concern i think they way they handle it is anomalous. How the hell that a certain IEO process could end in approximately 3-5 seconds. I am referring to the Bittrex exchange launching VGK. I am waiting for hours for nothing.
The only bad thing from IEO if that was making the centralized system to the ico and investor's funds. Remember about there was a lot of opportunity to the exchange site to create a manipulation to the ico too. I was seeing that possibility.
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your opinions on Crypto Banking? on: March 31, 2019, 12:02:06 AM
Cryptocurrency is not a total replacement, but an alternative based on choice to normal banking, which invariable means, it us either you choose decentralization or you choose centralization. Both act in the capacity of banking. Cryptocurrency gives you full control over your fund, which in my opinion, is the best.
The crypto banking is about to give an innovation to the cryptocurrency but the fact that crypto banking will make crypto being centralized. remember about be your own bank and that will be the opposite thing to that thing. But that's good to see there was someone interesting to create a new idea.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP competing places with ETH? on: March 30, 2019, 11:46:48 PM
I don't believe in ripple, so I don't think it can replace Ether in a long term period. ETHER will be the king of alts forever.
ETH will not be able to maintain the No. 1 position for too long in the future. In the next 2-3 years, a lot of altcoin is the rival of ETH, TRON, BNB, EOS ... If these 3 altcoin are growing so fast, I believe that ETH will soon go down to 3rd or 4th place.

Growing so fast? Which metrics are you using? None of the networks you mentioned is even close to Ethereum, not even remotely close.
Lol, perhaps he might have seen into the future and already seen or perceived what might happen.
Ethereum is not yet on the first position and might find it hard to overtake bitcoin, but when you talk of the best altcoiin. Which means that presently, ethereum is on position two generally among others and xrp that is closer to it, might find it difficult to permanently replace eth.
Bitcoin will still remain in the first position and have you seen that abouto= how ethereum was trying a lot but it looks like that needs a lot of time to surpasses bitcoin MCAP. XRP will still remain in the top 3 coins without a pump from bankers and that will never happen.
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is right for investment?? on: March 29, 2019, 12:06:19 PM
How do you choose altcoin in the current conditions, when you want to invest in cryptocurrency? Do you see the price or popularity? Share your suggestions and I will appreciate it. Thank you for your comments, success is always for us all.
I avoid all low-volume coins, spend money only on top altcoins, why risk buying unpopular projects when the prices of the top fell so low and their benefit from their purchase is obvious to all
I just try to pick some low coins which was having a lot of potential based on my analyzation, you can see that how eterbase was going to the moon dude, so many people are never thinking about that. Im interested with any exchange token
1616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 icos on: March 29, 2019, 12:05:13 PM
Everyone say ICO was the best option for us to invest at early project but the reality these method investing scheme already makes a lot people lose his investing. Around more than 80% from ICO price.
Those people are getting a big lose are blindly investing in icos without doing a lot of research about that dude, it seems like you must try to understand about the fact that the ico trend was turning into the green light again.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin is the best in your opinion? Poll on: March 28, 2019, 10:31:54 AM
Of course, the best has always been Bitcoin. But as the second after it, I single out Ethereum, because it is great for long-term investments where I use it.
I thought that OP must try to remove bitcoin from that list. About the picture that already mentioned by that's only for China region and most of the platforms are still using ethereum as the main pegged platform in western.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 28, 2019, 10:02:55 AM
Because most shitcoin might be considered to have a positive impact, for example a very maximum price increase reaches 100%, but I don't think that would be possible
Why not possible? all become possible because altcoin alone has the ability to grow like that. We've seen a lot of altcoin grew up in the market. all varies depending on the level of development and the ability of their markets.
Some altcoins have increased more than 150% just in a day and it looks like he doesn't even know about what he was talking about. That's indeed the result of development will give the result. If that was good and there will be a good result on its price too
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) is still the long-term investment option number 1 on: March 28, 2019, 10:01:40 AM
The best coin to invest in is bitcoin. But if we consider altcoins, then ethereum should be in the portfolio of investors. Although the project has many serious competitors. I also invest in Cardano.

The best coin to store your money is Bitcoin or invest long term like 5-10 years, but if you want to gain more and faster (by faster i mean 1-2 years) you should put your money in other projects like Cardano, Ontology, Nano and other good projects. I am saying this because you won't see a 50-100x increase in Bitcoin price any time soon.
When this thread was talking about ethereum and do you think that makes sense to mention bitcoin? there was a section that already created for bitcoin and you should go for that in the bitcoin speculation section.
Ethereum will still remain superior to any other altcoins.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 24, 2019, 02:54:21 PM
I find it interesting that ETH price started going up weeks prior to hard fork after the hard fork it looks to be consolidating and now moving back up again. what could be the factors to this price movement? I like it though, very good for quick trades.

Anybody notice a change in performance or speed of ETH? I have not move any of my ETH so far, I really can't tell yet.

Ethereum is dubbed the busiest blockchain in cryptocurency. It deserves far more credits than it gets because it is the father of smart contracts for dapp creation. The price dumps in 2018 was as a result of ethereum being a victim of its success. 90 percent of ERC20 projects dump their coins for fiat after ICO which made ethereum suffer
EOS is such a garbage platform that used a shady way to dump the price of ether. it has raised billions of dollar worth in ether and then dumping it for the fiat money. Not all of these platforms are running in ethereum after getting the fund.
