1641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Digital currencies ‘to falter in 2015’ on: February 17, 2015, 06:52:11 PM
I've already spent more using bitcoin this year than last. I was in a bar and used bitcoin at th weekend and I just ordered pizza with bitcoin too...

I guess the value of transactions will be lower due to no new mining breakthroughs being made, they must be a large part of the value of transactions..
1642  Economy / Speculation / Re: ETA on the ETF? on: February 17, 2015, 06:49:43 PM
There is no ETA but it sounds like it could be getting close, drafts and revisions have been made, soon it is decision time...

I'll have a look when I get to my pc. I do like having all crypto stuff in one place here at the moment though.
1644  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for opinions regarding investors for a new Casino. on: February 17, 2015, 06:43:50 PM
Hello fellow Bitcoiners and Gamblers alike,

My partner and I are in the stages of creating what we think will be a great place to gamble, socialize and have fun. We would very much appreciate community input though on the subject of investors for our site. Currently, we have the bankroll to fund it though in the event it is hugely popular and bigger players come and pull huge sums out we want to make sure there are no solvency problems in the early stages of launch. Also the maximum betting cap will be in place for two weeks - to a month to further protect the site from early massive withdraws.

To gain more information and opinions I ask that the community gives their opinions and ideas regarding having investors involved with our casino from the start. The plan would be to allow investment into a stake of the company's profits up to 30% of daily profits to be paid on a weekly or bi-weekly basis calculated on the individual's personal investment. Once ROI on your original investment is achieved we would then determine an appropriate % gain for the investor as well to make it worth his/her time. For us the site owners it would be in all our best interests to ROI investors as soon as possible then make a determination as to whether further investment is necessary. Please give your opinions on the pros and cons of this, and any further ideas you may think of.

This is just a post to get ideas from those who would be our target audience/customers every credible post will be taken into consideration as to the direction we go with this. Thank you all very much in advance for your input, please PM if you have any questions outside of the topic and I will answer what I can. At this time the nature of the content of our casino is not public knowledge. Have a great day all.
My opinion is that people would be mad to invest in new casinos. You need to be able to trust the site in order to invest in it, and any newbie asking for money is very very likely to run off with the investment, even if you aren't planning it already, it will cross your mind soon enough.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: $50 to $5000 in 489 winning matches - Journey on: February 17, 2015, 06:40:27 PM
lol @martingale betting

Martingale is normally shitty but at least in sportsbetting you don't go on such heavy loss streaks. Only type of gambling where I would use this method

Yeah, if you know how to bet in safe matches.
Believe me, you can go on those sort of losing streaks but instead if blaming bad luck, you will blame bad judgement!
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST SOCCER/FOOTBALL BETS !ODDS ARE ON YOUR SIDE!!!#BEST ✔✔✔(W27/L10) on: February 17, 2015, 06:38:22 PM
MATCHES FOR TONIGHT

Shaktar - bayern

bayern wins
odd:1.5

PSG - Chelsea
X2(double chance)
odd:1.6

Safe bets, good luck.
Bayern should be safe as houses, I could imagine mourinho settling for 1-0 though, he is so negative in first legs
1647  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football and NFL betting this weekend. on: February 15, 2015, 09:45:03 PM
I think that'll be it for this weekend. I am not online enough to really look into the matches and am on a hell of a losing streak!
I'll be back next week telling you which bets I lost!
1648  Economy / Gambling / Re: English Premier League and UEFA champions league Picks on: February 15, 2015, 11:08:03 AM
So what kind of sports are you betting? Football? NBA?

Im betting on English premier league and UEFA champions league. Which is football (soccer)...
Not a great day to start, when there is no premier league or champions league!

Well if I bet on the day of the games then most followers wouldn't see my bet in time, so I bet a few days before to ensure that I give others enough time to follow my bets if they choose to...
Fair enough, I'll check in to see how you get on and follow if you do well!
1649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football and NFL betting this weekend. on: February 15, 2015, 11:06:26 AM
I've been offline today so haven't had any bets, I'll try to have a look tomorrow
I'm in Berlin and I am backing Berlin to win today. Straight up and parlayed with hannover beating Paderborn at home.

1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion On Cricket World Cup [Help Me Bet] on: February 14, 2015, 11:21:26 PM
I would say pakistan to win but it is a tough call. I'd say if I where to put money on an overall winner it would be RSA/Aus
I am right now not betting on overall winners. I am just betting on winners of next matches and on a few other matches.

Pakistan has never won a match against India in WC. But this time I feel that India will loose.
Sunil Gavaskar, chappel, laxman, everyone is with India.

I think India has a lot of pressure on them to perform though especially after not doing well the last few matches. I think this wont help them.
Also the odds on Pakistan look nice Tongue If it where my money though I would not bet on that particular game.
Bet against England until its a dead rubber, then back them. These tactics rarely fail!
1653  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What does the Gov't really know about UFOs and ET's? on: February 13, 2015, 02:53:11 PM
UFOs do exist and have been mentioned my governments. I don't think they are hiding anything about aliens as I don't think any have ever been here or contacted us.

UFOs are exactly that, unexplained. I guess we will explain them at dome point but people won't believe the explanation.
1654  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Brawl in Ukrainian Parliament on: February 13, 2015, 02:46:55 PM
http://news.yahoo.com/ukrainian-politicians-get-into-fistfight-in-parliament-building-185139689.html

These Fascist hobos are now armed with $17 billion in new US freebie dollars thanks to Obama.

This is the nature of the people that the US and some European puppet governments, put in power in Ukraine to lead the country to better days!

I am not the biggest fan of the established parties in Western Europe, but they have a bit of dignity and don't fight in parliament like these idiots. The new Greek government is snother one, wearing leather jackets for meetings with foreign leaders.. maybe I'm getting old!
1655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase volume on: February 13, 2015, 02:41:37 PM
With no fees and reputable names backing them. I would feel safer using codebase than any other exchange, and much more than btc-e!
1656  Economy / Speculation / Re: $230 USD now! on: February 13, 2015, 02:38:38 PM
Lol@now threads celebrating a return to $230.  Well, I suppose it's something to hang your hat on...I mean it could be worse, right?  Too bad these same threads where made when the price was 830, 730, 630...you get the drift.

well said friend....

in future 70, 120 might be..... Huh

Ungrateful pessimists...

It's all happened in 2015...

read my old posts, always i informed to HODL.. but things changed now...

I wish it could raise and hit moon. i'm also benefited, because i bought few around $320 range....

There are plenty with worse averages than that, don't worry.  A little jump forward again, I admit it's hard to get excited about s very small retrace, but is better than a continued fall!
1657  Economy / Gambling / Re: WORLD CUP ♥♥♥♥ Nauro's Guaranteed Picks wait for you !!!! on: February 13, 2015, 02:32:56 PM
I'm not asking for a tip and definitely not paying for one, but what do you think of England's chances?
I think that on our day we are a match for anyone, but we still play in an old fashioned way. Sometimes we get 275 and walk off thinking we've done brilliantly, only for the opposition to knock it off in 40 overs!
1658  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am leaving guys. :( on: February 13, 2015, 02:28:54 PM
It is sad to see that gambling has resulted in people leaving Bitcoin.  Sad
In fairness, it's probably the reason they were in bitcoin to start with!
Bitcoin works well for gambling, but just as with normal money, if you lose money, it's probably worth quitting.
