1681  Economy / Services / Re: [Telegram Bounty] Casino Critique IBCO | BTC Paid on: August 28, 2022, 10:34:40 PM
OP is this a BTC paid campaign or not Huh as I see Payment will be paid in IBCO token from the raised funds of the ICO??

They probably meant to say that the payment will be made in BTC after IBCO (Initial Bitcoin Chip Offering) Phase 1, i.e. after they raise the money in the crowdfunding.
1682  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Graphic- Web Design Service - NFT 15% OFF for Bitcointalk memebers on: August 28, 2022, 04:45:15 PM
Finally, a designer with a nice portfolio.  Wink

You have some great NFT works there. Could you also showcase some of your logo designs and web designs?
1683  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Know this is scam but I don't know how they go about it. on: August 28, 2022, 10:10:22 AM
~
So my question here is: is there any way we can report these scams to the tether team? they will block these scam accounts and the scammers will no longer be able to perform their scams.

How will Tether block these accounts? As you said yourself, the USDT is probably already frozen at that address, so no one can move it. However, scammers are still able to move other tokens that land there. Tron is a decentralized network, so no one can freeze TRX.
1684  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Know this is scam but I don't know how they go about it. on: August 28, 2022, 08:38:54 AM

What they did was pretend they have USDT on their account as ERC20 or TRC20 or any token-based and luring you to deposit any amount for the fee to transfer the token but in the end, after you deposit it will automatically transfer to another address that you didn't own.
Most of the people who are trapped by this trick are greedy newbies. Always ignore these messages if you encounter such messages it's obvious scam.

Wow. So the anything sent to the wallet will be automatically transferred to another wallet. That's wonderful.
I know it's obvious scam but at times, I wonder why they feel free to give out private keys.
Now, I know what's really gonna happen.

Note also that any USDT sitting at that address cannot be transferred anyway. Tether has the ability to lock tokens if they are involved in some kind of scamming activity. Scammers use these tokens as bait for new victims, so you will see a lot of these private keys being shared around. Don't fall for such scams. If it seems too good to be true...
1685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do $19k again before a bull market? on: August 27, 2022, 10:20:23 PM
It looks like Bitcoin is going to break the $19k  resistance in the next month.
~

You mean support? Resistance is mainly defined when the price of an asset is rising, and support is the price level where buyers enter the market, causing it to rise again.

Unless something dramatic changes, it seems like Bitcoin will be worth less than half of its value since the beginning of this year. And it's hard not to feel disappointed by that. But we can only hope that the cryptocurrency grabs a foothold again by the end of 2022 and starts climbing back up towards its former trading levels.

Thanks. I can't write to him(8Bet and 8betnews)It gives an error for new user

Try writing in their official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3038024.940

8betnews is active almost every day, so he should see your message there.
If this does not help (you do not hear back from them within a few days), you can update this topic with all the relevant information (see this Scam Report Format) and then create a Flag against 8Bet and 8betnews accounts.

1687  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 8bet.io scam! on: August 27, 2022, 04:47:49 PM
Good day everyone.I made a deposit Dogecoin, tried the slots of this casino. When it came to the payment, I waited and did not receive an answer from support, why is my payment taking so long, which they never paid. They ignored my questions in Telegram. It has been 7 days and there is still no payment.all proofs are here

I have edited your post with the correct image links for better viewing.

It seems that 8BET casino has two representatives on the forum: 8Bet and 8betnews.
The first account was not active for several months, but the second account is still active and regularly bumps the 8BET.io thread. I suggest you try sending a PM to both accounts or raise a flag on their main account that might get their attention.

Well, I'll still be safe because I live in a lake, before anyone could meet me, they'll have to kill 4 sharks and 3 dolphins.

Sharks and dolphins cannot survive in lakes, you dumbass! Stop torturing the poor animals and let them live free in their natural habitat.
1690  Other / Meta / Re: Bumping of sale threads with alts on: August 27, 2022, 11:58:31 AM
There are bumping related rules which restrict a user from bumping the sales thread before fixed time. But some members are bypassing this by using alt accounts to bump their threads. They just some question related to the service or leave a positive reply on the thread. Is there any way to put a check on this ?

The best way to deal with such posts is to report them to the moderators as low value spam. If they are excessive, some newbie accounts might even be banned for such behavior.
1691  Other / Meta / Re: Additional security measures to keep account secure on: August 27, 2022, 11:48:05 AM
2FA should be more than enough for an extra security measure. Even if someone steals your password or finds a way to break into your account, 2FA (one time password) on your account protects you against such attacks. In case you lose your password, you can still reset it by entering a valid email and a 2FA code. Of course, there is no such thing as 100% security, but this should definitely help a lot.
1692  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Blokbro plagiarised Content , Roadmap and Whitepaper from LockNess.io on: August 26, 2022, 04:20:38 PM
I understand your reasoning .. but I believe that a person who really wants to launch a bogus or scam project, first checks all the details without making mistakes, and second does not make changes repeatedly on the site because in this way he avoids leaving as few traces as possible .. another thing does not put its identity on the site ...

None of your arguments hold water. Throughout history we have seen numerous examples of different types of scams. Some are pulled off by professional fraudsters with almost flawless execution, while others are less professional and more ridiculous work of amateurs. The mere fact that you disclosed your identity does not necessarily imply your honest intentions. More often than not, scammers use fake personal information to give themselves credibility and to mislead their victims.

I simply felt that for this small project it was enough to continue in this direction and see how people reacted because I know that the concept of KYC on the address is not well seen by the community and dedicate further time was not worth it. Regardless of the plagiarism and the mess made by the fake programmer, as I have always said, I'm not here to scam anyone and so much time to look for money. I wanted to see what the community thought.

I am baffled by this. Why even start a project if you do not consider it worth putting your time and effort into it? That statement alone makes me think that this was just a failed attempt at quick money grab scheme, and not a serious undertaking. The point is, scam or no scam, it does not matter. Because if you (for whatever reason) do not consider a project a worthy challenge for you, you are better off doing something else and not wasting your time, or worse, asking people to invest their money in something you haven’t really figured out, or do not even care about.

I have received a lot of criticism regarding the KYC on the address but I believe that in the future it will be necessary for the full adoption of crypto around the world. I remember that many people of a certain level in 2016/2017 (e.g. the CEO of binance) were completely opposed to the current KYC and had declared that they would never include it in their exchenge ... now instead we find that they have fully adopted it .

This is completely irrelevant.

Users from which investments are not accepted (the list is being supplemented):
~
30) Stalker22;

It is your loss. I have no problem investing $500 to $5,000 in a project or an idea that looks promising. The risk/reward ratio is critical, though, and in your case, not being sure what the product will be, the reward is not worth taking on.

There are a lot of very savvy people out there who will happily lend you money for a project that is promising. Too bad you didn't look up for an angel investors before you decided to try to scam people. Now you are stuck with your bad reputation and financial situation. Your reputation is ruined, and your future here is ruined. That is a tough way to go. Hopefully, you will move on to other pastures to make a buck.

1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum price get to 4,000 in 2022 on: August 22, 2022, 10:23:14 PM
ETH was able to the price of $2k already and that is because of the hype of the merging but then again, if the market is still in the bear trend and if Bitcoin is still down, it’s hard to see the altcoins to pump that much and with $4k price of ETH, it can only possible to happen if Bitcoin will break the resistance. Few months left for the year 2022, and we are still far from that price most probably, we can’t achieve that easily.
I know whenever the bitcoin price drop drastically ethereum will follow suit but then in the category of altcoins, Ethereum is still the king even though ethereum is under price right now and that is because of the present market conditions. 4k ethereum price may look unrealistic before the end of 2022 but then nothing is impossible in this market anything can happen.

If Ethereum were to recover and make it back to 4K USD by the end of 2022, that would represent an over 170% price increase. While this seems hard to achieve right now, it could very well happen in the long term. Ethereum is in a very enviable position right now, and they are currently the leader in smart contracts, dapps, and other platforms built on top of blockchains. So there are a lot of reasons for optimism about it. But we cannot predict the future. No one can. So do not take this as a guarantee of anything.
1697  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What the pressure for success comes with on: August 22, 2022, 09:57:08 PM
Before the year 2024, I plan to re-strategize to create enough awareness for crypto in my society, create an enabling ground for lectures and solve some problems. Before then, I will keep developing myself intellectually and growing. With the efforts, I have made, if, in a working society, I know what the result could be.

The basic idea behind cryptocurrency is to cut out the middleman (the bank) and for you to control your money. It is not just an investment platform where people buy and hope that the price goes up, it is an entire system of decentralized trust networks. It opens up a whole new dimension of self-determined trading. The best way to get started is to find some friends who knows something about crypto and create a group between 2-10 people, this will help you all in trading together and also gives you an opportunity to discuss with one another which would ultimately help you in deciding whether a coin is viable or not. Always consider placing a portion of your money in proven coins, such as Bitcoin. Those coins have the best chance of retaining or gaining value.

In the end, cryptocurrencies still have a lot to offer. Their use cases are many and their potential is nearly limitless. In other words, there is no reason to be hesitant about getting involved. So do your research, and see where it takes you.

Stalker22, I think you've never even heard of this browser Smiley It is a Chinese 360 Speed Browser, but I do not recommend to install it to your main system. If you understand Russian, here is a thread about this browser. There you can find portable builds, cleaned from unnecessary stuff. Here you can try them. And it has this function.

You are right. I have never heard of it...  Most interesting. I assume the main purpose of this browser is increased privacy?

EDIT:
I found the English version of the site: https://browser.360.cn/se/en.html and https://browser.360.cn/ee/en.html
1700  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is suicide the best option? on: August 21, 2022, 11:26:01 PM
What do you think can be the better option? Your thoughts.

It is really hard to have an opinion or even try to understand it. Around the world, so many people are struggling with unemployment issues and financial problems. As a result, people do not have the ability to provide for their families. What can one do if they cannot even provide a meal for their children? It is really hard to understand how this situation has come about. It seems like there is no hope for them, but there is always hope if you try hard enough.

The world has become a very fast-paced place. People are always on the go, traveling here and there. As a result, they do not have the time to sit down and think about what is really important in life. They are too busy trying to make money and provide for their families. But people should take a step back and look at their lives. They need to realize that it is not all about money, but also about their families and friends. They should not give up. Life is full of ups and downs. It seems that it is always easier to look at the down moments than to look at your positive side. It may seem hard when you are going through some tough times, but every day can be a great day! You just have to get up and see the light. Your life can be better with some determination and a positive attitude. You never know what tomorrow may bring you. The best thing you can do is enjoy each day as if it could be your last.
