1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamling with a high risk and high rewards or low risk and low rewards? on: January 05, 2017, 07:13:26 PM
If you are a gambler and have 2 option :
1. Put your money in high risk game with high rewards.
2. Put your money in low risk game with low rewards.
Then which one you choose?

First thing first in the rule of gambling "gamble with what you can afford to lose" which I know is very sacrosanct then the nest thing being how fast do I want to lose? Because thats the surest possibility one must be ready for in going into gambling. In my own case, I prefer to lose bit by bit and I'm also contended with the rewards that will come with it, if any... As simple as that...
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino - Players favorite 2017 on: January 05, 2017, 06:35:07 PM
Are you sure you did not miss something that should be on the top parameters list? Provably Fair mechanism, do you think people does not care about it when they are going to gamble their money on such casino?

To me personally I dont know of others, that is the basic thing I would want to see in a gambling or casino site even though I don't have the technical ability to determine whether its is true or not but I am sure someone on the forum can do the verification. Even if it not displayed I believe it should be implied and fully compiled with because if I want to lose I need to lose fairly or believe to have lost fairly...
1683  Economy / Gambling / Re: Earn 1 BTC daily in any BTC Dice game (Proven and tested) by MrX1bit on: January 05, 2017, 06:20:57 PM
New account, 4 posts, definitely either a scam or a system where you double your bet after each loss until you win. That s a very old and completely useless system.

I suggest caution.

You dont even need to suggest caution as even me before opening the thread I had a premonition of what to expect. Imagine a newbie created an account with the sole purpose of giving us his working formula to earn 30 btc in 30days just like that? I will not not only exercise caution, I will equally just ignore because I am sure its going to be a total waste of time and nothing else...
1684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will hit 2000 USD feb 17 on: January 05, 2017, 06:14:30 PM
The Bitcoin price fall started maybe it is panic sell or pro are manipulating the market but price has significantly doped in less than an our so it will be very soon to say that Bitcoin can reach $2000 by this February but as we know it is Bitcoin so anything may happen.

I have every reason to believe that anyone who has the premonition of $2000 by February, and has decided to invest in BItcoin, with whatwe have seen today, that person will definitely have a re-think. The $2000 mark is never an impossibility  but I am sure it will take more than mere wishing and speculation but its going to be a difficult milestone to accomplish...
1685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back 2014! on: January 05, 2017, 06:06:32 PM
Here comes the crash Grin. This is the problem with people panic selling. bitcoin price falling down now lol.It was 950$ on btc-e and i refresed the page 5 minutes later and down to 876$. I am a lifetime bitcoin holder and i can take it.I know it will rise again.what do you guys think? i think now price will reach back 600$ in no time. :/

I wont call it a crash from my angle because the margin from where it was and now is not really much although I agree that it amounts to loss of great amount to someone else. I would rather take it to mean a slide if there is anything like that. Also, I believe it will rise again but the question is the time frame to get to the point where we are? it could be tomorrow, it could be a month from now or even a year from now... who knows...
1686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huge drop while i am asleep! This is BS on: January 05, 2017, 05:54:48 PM
Why it seems that bitcoin is most active at night in the US eastern time?

I wake up at 4:30am to an alarm from my phone telling me btc dropped from 1120 to 1050 in a matter of minutes. Then i stay awake for about an hour buying and selling during the "volatility" and place a buy order when i see that the price seems stable at 1100 and go back to sleep. Then i freaking wake up again 3 hours later after  hearing my phone vibrate like crazy to find the price dump to 920!!  What do i do now? Hold? Or Sell?

For those in east coast, how do you deal with this volatility during the early hours of the morning???

I tell you. It has not been easy for everyone all over the world where Bitcoin is being mentioned. For you, I say youre lucky because you were asleep and you couldnt have made some decisions 5 minutes before the drop. For me over here, I had wake up with smiles seeing that  things are still very much with the range where I left it last night and within minutes for me to refresh my account, I could not just believe it but I m also optimistic that we will recover...
1687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just dropped to under 900$ and it keeps going down on: January 05, 2017, 05:49:47 PM
Guys , can someone tell me what is happening with Bitcoin ? In only 2 hours his price dropped over 10% . Now his price is 880$. What should i do? Sell my bitcoins or buy more?

I will say although this will come as a shock, since we all woke up this morning with smiles on our faces and within hours things started going haywire but as at now via Blockchain, we are at $967 and I think we are not doing badly. At the same time it all depends on your attitude to risk whether to buy more, or to sell now. Just be ready to live with the consequences of either decision because no one knows what will happen tommorow morning...
1688  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic selling started ! on: January 05, 2017, 05:38:22 PM
I really suggest that everyone holds what he have at the moment instead of panic selling , If you want to really make some really good profit then hold . http://preev.com/ , Its not going too well and we don't want to make things worst at this point.

Even the way it is now, based on my own little understanding I am beginning to have some feelings on how the price moves like someone is influencing the price somewhere in the sense that, more people are buying then the price increase, we move again to people selling, then the price begins to drop thereby creating a panic for more selling for the price to dip further, then all of a sudden again, it start increasing... I really do not understand...
1689  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please give me advice, Bitcoin will rise again or go to hell? I'm scared on: January 05, 2017, 05:35:00 PM
I'm scared because price Bitcoin down, I do not know what to do with Bitcoin at this time Cry

Bro, if you are one, I would suggest you take it easy and not take any rash decision that you might blame yourself and dont also forget you are not the only one in this as everyone is affected one way or the other. And at the point it is now, there is hope might still rise since the fall is not too brutal for it to take time to recover from the shock...
1690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the last 24 hours on: January 05, 2017, 12:15:15 PM
From the update from my angle and observation for the last 24 hours of Bitcoin, I have seen some erratic movement hovering between $1088-$1137 and this is something I still dont understand in the days coming to this we have seen persistent increase in price hopefully this can be kept at that or else the prophets of crash would have succeeded in making their prediction come into fruition...

1692  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is up with Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2017, 04:51:12 AM
this "change" has never happened before. the price happened. but last time that you are comparing things with was a "sudden rise" over a very short time (i think it was less than a month) and price went down to $200 afterwards.

and now the same price happened but it took 2 years (if you compare it with 2013 then it took 4 years) to get here.

so no i don't expect it to go down at all.

I will totally agree with you because comparing the past with the present is not totally right in the sense that they represent different scenerios and times have changed with various development and exposure happening between 2013 and 2017. Also the surge op is referring to is a graduated one and not an overnight surge in which I am of the opinion that if we are going to experience the downfall, I expect it to be graduated as well...
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: January 03, 2017, 06:08:59 PM
From what I have read and I have equally clamored for, the issue I am seeing here is about adequate transparency in which all others are clamoring for, even though I will agree that some are going about it the wrong way by going the way of attack rather than making their points known. I expect OP to have responded to these issues whether solutions will be provided, or explanations provided in a timely manner... I believe this will go along way in calming down the storm this has generated...
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Excel supporting Bitcoin ! on: January 03, 2017, 02:20:47 PM
Microsoft is working on BitCoin format support in Excel. When this feature becomes available, users can use Excel to track, calculate and analyze Bitcoin data using native Bitcoin number formatting options. This new feature will be first rolled out to Excel 2016 for Windows, Excel Online, Excel Mobile for Windows and Excel Mobile for Android.

This feature is expected to be available in the first half of 2017, both cointelegraph and MSPowerUser talked about this.

https://mspoweruser.com/bitcoin-currency-format-support-coming-soon-microsoft-excel-desktop-mobile/

This is an interesting news for financial analysts and its also good that the popularity of bitcoin is actually getting the people or organizations that matter. With my little knowledge of Excel which to my understanding, is more or less the basis of all financial models and experts around the world believes so, then this new feature will even get audience among the analysts that will arose another discussion in that regard. Good news all the way...
1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOW is a good time for a hack! on: January 03, 2017, 11:26:27 AM
This hack that I am seeing all over the forum, it seems we are even the ones calling for hacks when we are the ones to be hit the most when it eventually happens. Because it will definitely drive down the price of Bitcoin which might even take another year to recover but for the hacker himself, he does not care even if it falls to $100 since he is getting free money after all.

1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: i made 8000$ this week . soccer tips with proof.make 40k every mouth. on: January 01, 2017, 03:57:52 PM
Even before I open the thread one red flag I had in mind is that its going to be a newbie and I was not disappointed even surprised that the account was equally created for that same purpose and the post as  well. I won't even open the link because I know its going to be a total waste of time and energy that cannot be proved...
1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 01, 2017, 03:31:15 PM
I never been shameful on what i am because its my field and its the one im good for. Why would i take to be shameful if gambling is the only reason why i become happy and have a business even its small its still a source of funds for me than being a homeless guy who don't succeed

Being shameful about gambling is something that will happen not willingly but as a result of the society because from where I am from, gambling is a social vice that needs to be do away with and anyone engaging in it is view ASA deviant which could bring shame to the family so to avoid that, I willing avoid live gambling and stick to my online gambling without anyone knowing not even my family members not to talk of the society...
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: January 01, 2017, 03:10:57 PM
It's just funny for me. I do not like gambling but sometimes I paly gambling for relax and geting out of the stress.
Gambling is really not good for anybody. it will make you poor and exhausted.

Well that is your own opinion and thats how you choose to put it. But for me, I am still of the opinion that gambling is not for fun, if I want to have fun, I can play video games PR choose to watch football among other things to do not gambling. I also holds that the primary motive to gambling is to winning and after that is not accomplished, then one later seek other motives which what you said falls into...
1700  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Is Not as a Digital Currency on: January 01, 2017, 01:16:51 PM
Circle unveiled itself at a bitcoin conference in 2014, vowing to take the digital currency mainstream. But like so many other startups that embraced this big idea at around the same time, its mission has changed.

In January, I met Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire for coffee in San Francisco. Even then, he was careful to paint his company not as a bitcoin operation but as an outfit that would help people easily trade good old-fashioned dollars with friends and family via a new smartphone app. And now, as it announced yesterday, Circle will no longer allow customers to buy and sell bitcoin. "READ MORE FROM LINK BELOW"

News Source: https://www.wired.com/2016/12/future-bitcoin-not-digital-currency/

What do you guys think ? I certainly think bitcoin will become the digital currency in future and this article is BS. However, I'm no bitcoin expert. What do you guys think about this ? Will it become the digital currency in future ?

Every one have the right to his or her own view based on the assumption and interpetation he holds to be valid but that also does not mean we have to buy the idea or force that same idea on us... In as much as they did not believe that Bitcoin's future is not as digital currency, no one can still erase the fact that, that function is one of those things that brings the current popularity being enjoyed today because to majority especially non-techie guys every other thing, aside digital currency, is simply "A CODE OR SOFTWARE"...
