1561  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: February 01, 2017, 09:59:11 AM
In my own opinion, I will go for the combination of both to complement each other. But if I am to pick my favorite, I will still go for Signature campaigns. The social media is so dispersed that some people here separates their real lives form bitcoin world which means advertising on my facebook will mean sending message to those who are not interested but Signature campaigns will do otherwise as it will be available to those population rightly interested into what one is offering...
1562  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Firm XAPO Approved to Operate in Switzerland on: February 01, 2017, 09:53:12 AM
From the way I see it in as much that this will sound as a good news, I wont want to keep hopes high because the real deal and concessions for this deal to materialise are being done behind the camera and until when the fruits of this deal begins to materialise, we will then know if its really a good news or otherwise. At the same time this will only benefits the nationals if Swiss as I have no direct benefit in this relationship of Xapo and Swiss Government...
1563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for SURVEY SITE that will pay you BITCOINS? on: February 01, 2017, 09:02:30 AM
I can actually relate with the problem of getting good paying surveys from developing countries and third world countries. When I started my online quest, I made frantic effort to beat the system by changing location but all was futile. I guess those sites are actually not meant for some particular set of people and some their security against proxy is top notch that will be hard to break. But its all good to make some free bucks, with the suggestions here then anyone looking to expand his search have several options to choose from...
1564  Economy / Services / Re: Get 5 BTC for proof who Game Protect scammed and for how much? on: February 01, 2017, 08:43:22 AM
The problem with your service is that it is some kind of insurance. Where people will only get the benefit from it only after they get scammed from a site. The problem here too is that how can we trust you and your service that you will honor your part of the deal? You ask for an expensive monthly membership fee and there is no guarantee that you will pay up when the time comes. Also, do you really think that you can go after people who operates these casinos? For sure you won't even be able to see a glimpse of their shadow. Hence people call your service a scam.

Same concerns I exhibited some while ago when I read about the service OP is rendering and the heat the subject matter generated on his thread. The service he is offering is to protect but not to cover my losses. The purpose of insurance is not that the vehicle will not have accident, but to pay back when it does not preventing me not to drive. So, you dont expect me to pay you then I get nothing from you or the casino when the inevitable now happens. Until when he can guarantee that, thats when people will start taking op serious in the service he is offering...
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Squall Coin NO IPO, Made for you! STILL ALIVE on: February 01, 2017, 08:38:29 AM

1566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie wants to create new altcoin on: January 31, 2017, 06:16:51 PM
with just a basic ideas of moving some characters in unity engine C#. no idea of compilers source code github and other complex process. I want to start a new community coin. I dont need to register in exchange market.

I am from India, North east of india where most of the population has no idea what bitcoin is. So i want to introduce a digital currency. a community backed altcoin.

what do i do ?

i have tried compiling bitcoind , the tutorial in this forum got stuck with boost++ installation.

dont want to use some online make your own currency websites

Like the person ahead of me has rightly said, dont bother creating any. because anything one wants to go into, at the minimum one must possess some basic knowledge of how things work and in this case you lack such. I would suggest you take your time to learn about how its being created and not only the coding part that makes a coin a success. You have been told...
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Losses on: January 31, 2017, 10:08:15 AM
As a casual gambler i'm curious how you guys handle your own losses whether it's from dice , sportsbetting , slots or other gambling games..
I want to know your own way of dealing with it.

Any one who is going into gambling in the first place should know losses are inevitable and in a provably fair system, you have the same chance of losing and winning so having that at the back of mind and when it eventually happens doesnt come as a surprise. I guess I am pro in handling it well afterall...
1568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 31, 2017, 08:14:52 AM
For me I will say it depends on who is playing both. For someone who is coming into trading fresh without any knowledge or background analysis of the right coin to go for, I will say its absolutely no other thing than pure gambling but same will not be said as someone who is versatile in the art of trading then that person cannot be said to be gambling...
1569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: January 30, 2017, 01:37:49 PM
I gamble any time of the day I feel like making a go for my money because as at the last time I checked, winning in gambling is not determined by the time of the day the gambling will take place. What if I am playing in the evening over here and on the game server its early in the morning. Aside that, when it comes to sport games in which I have large interest, then I doubt if anyone or time of the day has any say whatsoever in who will win or lose...
1570  Economy / Economics / Re: News From Switzerland on: January 30, 2017, 10:29:30 AM
Its actually something to be happy about and its a new one in the right direction even after the various negative news being spread all over that we can still get a good news is something to really be joyous about. But the issue here is the news is coming from Switzerland in which I am far away from at the same time as China as I am not left with only to benefit from the indirect benefit this development might bring...
1571  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Doesn’t Western Union or Moneygram Use Bitcoin? on: January 30, 2017, 10:15:34 AM
The short answer is that Western Union doesn’t need Bitcoin in its current infantile state. Conversely, if and when Bitcoin reaches adulthood the world would no longer need Western Union.
I really liked the above statement and this is one of the fewest articles that I really enjoyed reading on cointelegraph[1].

[1] https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-doesnt-western-union-or-moneygram-use-bitcoin#

For me I have not seen anywhere in the world, although I have not been to the whole world but the its a fact that you wont see where a competitor will be promoting another competitor when it is obvious that that the moment bitcoin becomes generally accepted, then if it wont send paypal and money gram out of business it will shrink their revenue to a large extent. I wont even be surprised if they are behind the campaign propagating the disadvantages of bitcoin alone.
1572  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk suggested as being the home of scammers. on: January 30, 2017, 10:07:43 AM
The issue you raised is really a call for concern and its obvious to even the administrators of the forum and other members of the forum and they have been trying their effort in sanitising the forum. A quick look at the meta section of the forum will show how much they have been trying to build up the reputation of the forum and hopefully they will be successful at it.
1573  Economy / Services / Re: i can mentor to make Insane ammount of Bitcoins on: January 28, 2017, 01:28:14 PM
I cant just begin to wonder how this will eventually play out with the pre-requisite of having .5btc and even evidence that the amount is present in the wallet. I am thinking that when the funds is established then OP advises that for you to make that insane amount of btc, then you just need to invest in this site for this number of hours and boom come and withdraw the multiplied btc. But at the end it will be scam... end of story...
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] There is NO Innovation. on: January 28, 2017, 01:17:44 PM
Its so unfortunate that from the abundance of developers that we have now, none has been able to beat the feat bitcoin has achieved but I am sure if something of that nature is done, people will definitely support. What will see today is people who are not even passionate about what they are developing only few even provides the necessary support among other deficiencies we witnessed today... Hopefully this can be sorted out in the near future...
1575  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: January 28, 2017, 01:07:11 PM
The difference between the winner and loser in trading is just to know the right time and that 30 minutes could make a difference. For me, anytime I am ready to sell, it will be a period where I can boldly say I am comfortable with the returns this will bring, whether the price will fall tomorrow ir the next minute or even if the price will increase above the roof the next hour, I am ready to live with it. Then I am selling...
1576  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: January 28, 2017, 12:46:50 PM
In my won little foray into trading since I am fairly new, I lay my hands on some coins and it started showing signs of prospects by increasing and increasing thinking it will continue like that. My mistake was not knowing the right time to pull out and not following enough to determine the extent of loss I can take. This made me lose a ton amount of money but its a lesson that one should not be greedy and be ready to take decisive actions irrespective of what will happen afterwards...
1577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: January 28, 2017, 12:43:21 PM
In as much as trading and gambling are closely related since its both putting money in an activity and expecting a return, it does not mean they are the same simply because of the rate of risk attached to each. In the case of gambling there is no control whatsoever in losing. When you lose it happens once but not same way with trading as I am at liberty to mange such loses to my bearable ability...
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: January 27, 2017, 01:53:20 PM
The time spent on this forum ever since I got wind of this website has all time worth it and it has been and will also continue a source of passive income to me. Passive income is just necessary in this time where there are opportunities to earn something doing what you do normally rather than wasting away precious time surfing those website that adds no value to you and even serve a drain to one's income...
1579  Economy / Economics / Re: On what way would you know that your investing on the right business? on: January 27, 2017, 01:45:43 PM
Although there are no safe investments in which I have at the back of my mind, because a particular site with nice and commendable reviews can start scamming very moment you joined in. This is true because its what I have witnessed and I ended up losing money. At the same time one cannot be oblivious of the  importance of doing due diligence as this will guide against entering into a pit to a large extent and the community is the very best source I go to and Google reviews is another potent source...
1580  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: January 27, 2017, 12:46:42 PM
The Venezuelan people are suffering under high inflation (official inflation rate is 124%, inofficial rate is 720%). Why do they not switch to Bitcoin or alternative coins? Do they not know about Bitcoin or do they do not have access to Bitcoin buying options? This is really a mystery for me  Undecided

Using bitcoin as a means of currency does not automatically serves as a means of controlling inflation. Even in elementary economics, I didnt read anywhere where an adoption of a form of currency is a way of controlling inflation. Inflation is caused by several factors and when those factors are not resolved there is nothing that can be done. A cost push inflation cannot be controlled unless something is being done to reduce the cost of production with having no relationship with the currency in the economy.
