After reading that you have put up there, I cannot but agree that you are right on spot but I tell you that, what you are enduring there is what people see as enjoyment. If you dont believe me, then ask the people in Syria or the ones in Libya, Afghanistan or Yemen among other countries where even the freedom to have options is a luxury that cannot be afforded by many. Aside that, its rather unfortunate that the land of the free is turning into the shadow of itself.
1402  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is US election really get hacked? on: March 15, 2017, 02:18:05 PM
How can anyone claim that US election get hacked? Did Trump really won by hacking? Isn't that was a fair election? If it really get hacked now what steps US will take place for it? Do they again have election or Trump will be the next President?

For me, I dont believe US elections is really hacked and the reason for that is, for US that prides itself as the most powerful country in the world then its a slap on US intelligence. Also, I believe when two people contest for something that is meant for one person, no matter how fair the process is, the losing party will always find reasons as to why he didnt win the contest...
1403  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I found a way to topup/recharge your phone with BTC on: March 15, 2017, 11:11:57 AM
This site called bitrefill.com recharges your phone in exchange for bitcoin.

After visiting the site, I cannot but say its impressive to see the site automatically locate my country and after inputing my phone number came out with my service provider within seconds but the issue is just the premium too like someone has right noted above that if I should convert the amount to be paid in btc to fiat, I will definitely get more as top up in recharge value...
1404  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: C-CEX on: March 15, 2017, 11:05:43 AM
they are just telling you that someone tried to log into your account and failed. simple as that. there is nothing to worry about.
and the reason for it is probably because you used either the same username or the same Email address for multiple places.

C-cex.com uses username, and for example if you had the name "Slow death" or chat there and show your username, someone can go to their login page and put in "Slow death" and try different passwords "123", "password1",... and every time he fails (assuming your password is not that easy to guess!) the system sends you an email telling you someone has failed to login.

This is the problem, my account from one of the sites has been hacked Cry, I am watching now and I have already sent an email to block my account from this site.

Frankly, I did not receive email that someone changed the password. Cry

I also use c-cex and I have no problem whatsoever with thier service and even to a large extent, I will say I am comfortable with they are offering. So if they send you something of such, then it means they are on the look out for you. What I will suggest is to first log in and change your password because it means your account is compromised then after that you can start other security steps recommended to be implemented.
1405  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate Jew on: March 15, 2017, 08:10:59 AM
For me, I dont hate Jews when its not that everybody I meet writes their tribe or ethnicity on their foreheads to indicate where they are from. Even if I meet someone today, the last thing I want to know about you is whether you are a Jew or not, whether you are a Christian or Muslim and until when we are seeing people for who they really are, we are moving forward. And no, I dont hate Jews.
1406  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is these scam ? on: March 14, 2017, 08:40:56 PM

Reading through the comments, I cannot but conclude that its a scale, even without watching the video because the video will be designed in a way to lure innocent victims into parting away their money and for the fact that its a cloud mining site, then that confirms that its scam. No way will I be part of such after what others that have come before have done to my innocent hard earned money all in the name of investments
1407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freebitco.in launched a new feature. on: March 14, 2017, 08:33:59 PM

FreeBitco.in - Win free bitcoins every hour, no strings attached!"

This sounds promising! I don`t know how much can this work, this way of saving. Generally I don`t like this schemes, but freebitco.in is here more then I`m, and their site was active before (I don`t know for last 6 months), can this be something good and positive?
I don`t have any coins there, but I plan to deposit some just to see does it work.
Any thoughts?

This is a good feature to be implemented and I think the crypto world is ready for something like this. For those who might think its a ponzi, its not because what is being promised is achievable as what is being offered is 1.048* what ever I put in on an annual basis at the same time, the concern is where will the site get the interest to be paid?...
1408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are all american racists? Do they hate all outsiders/immigrants? on: March 14, 2017, 06:33:48 PM
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/nri/us-canada-news/indian-shot-dead-by-american-spewing-racial-slurs-in-kansas/articleshow/57322818.cms
A recent racism activity and we have seen similar incidents before also.Even some cops are racists who take undue advantage of opportunity and shoot immigrants and blacks.
Has the country now became totally unsafe for immigrants?Trump move to prevent/reduce immigration was appreciated by all of us because it was meant for betterment of country and to increase jobs prevent crimes...But this crime looks as racist activity and not for any good advantage. Are such activities still supported and considered as for good of the country?

I voted for no because in my own opinion, if there is any country in the whole of the West that is the most tolerant, it is the United States of America although there are some element there that will want to soil the name of the country, but that is their own personal opinion and not the general population of the country. These same country whether we like it or not, put a Black man in the Oval which has never happened in the West so I dont believe they are all racists...
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 21million BTC really enough for the wole world? on: March 14, 2017, 05:19:09 PM
I mean its only 21million btcand there are 6billion people in the world , how can it be enough

How on earth will that be enough and that is the concern to be raised when discussion gets to a high level and there is need for massive adoption of bitcoin. This limitation to 21 million coins will serve as an impediment. Firstly, it will make the price to go beyond the reach of an average individual because will becomes so high to afford and secondly, when the maximum is eventually reached, miners fee will continue to skyrocket and by that it will discourage a lot of users. 1410  Economy / Economics / Re: china will no longer able to control bitcoin market??? on: March 14, 2017, 12:32:03 PM
Possible or not if bitcoin users increase, china will no longer able to control bitcoin market. i see china market always try to dump the price even other exchange want to the price keep rising.

Even now, I have a feeling that the influence any thing that comes from China whether positive or negative is having on bitcoin is gradually reducing because the news of investigating exchange sites and even suspension of withdrawal of bitcoin on some exchange sites is not really having any effect on price. But this will be finalised by the time we have alot of people coming that will not only surpress from China but equally from other parts of the world...
1411  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 13, 2017, 07:32:08 PM
When one is focused on the benefit of keeping long term that  'by the this time next year or 2 years from now, bitcoin would be $5000' should also not be unmindful of the risk involved that the same $1200+ today might turn out to be $700 in a year from now. Until when that is settled by the investor, then all the I say anybody can save as long as he/she wants so far he is ready to take the outcome that might come as a result of that decision whether positive or negative...
1412  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining fees will eventually kill bitcoin on: March 13, 2017, 07:23:31 PM
Now that the SEC has rejected the Winklevoss bitcoin ETF, I decided to actually glance through their S-1 (registration statement) that they filed with the SEC just for the heck of it. The S-1 requires a statement and discussion of possible risks associated with a security that is seeking SEC registration. In the Winklevoss S-1, I found this section particularly noteworthy (emphasis is original):

Quote
As the number of Bitcoins awarded for solving a block in the Blockchain decreases, the incentive for miners to continue to contribute processing power to the Bitcoin Network will transition from a set reward to transaction fees. The requirement from miners of higher transaction fees in exchange for recording transactions in the Blockchain may decrease demand for Bitcoins and prevent the expansion of the Bitcoin Network to retail merchants and commercial businesses, resulting in a reduction in the Blended Bitcoin Price.

If transaction fees paid for the recording of transactions in the Blockchain become too high, the marketplace may be reluctant to accept Bitcoins as a means of payment and existing users may be motivated to switch from Bitcoins to another Digital Math-Based Asset or back to fiat currency. Decreased use and demand for Bitcoins may adversely affect their value and result in a reduction in the Blended Bitcoin Price.

Not only is this a risk that they highlighted, my view is this is inevitable, and that mining fees will eventually become prohibitive not only to bitcoin expansion, but everyday bitcoin function. This is the flaw that will eventually render bitcoin unusable for everyday commerce, and the price will decline accordingly as demand for coins falls off as a result.

Mining fees will eventually kill bitcoin, the question is if this is avoidable with some type of change, or a predetermined fate that cannot be altered due to the nature of the ecosystem?

Its actually a call for concern and attention that the amount of bitcoin is going through the roof where part of the reason bitcoin is making waves over other mode of transferring currencies across borders but the issue that it will kill bitcoin is what I wont fully subscribed to in the sense that as bitcoin price is increasing so like wise the transaction price is increasing and also compared to other means of transferring funds, it still offered the cheapest which is acceptable across board...
1413  Economy / Economics / Re: Finanacial System on: March 13, 2017, 03:04:52 PM
What are the threats for financial system from bitcoin?

The only threat I see is the fact that transactions are untraceable and that will give dupers and scammers upper hand. In this world where transactions can still be traced for those who use Fiat, there are still high level of fraud being carried out without any victory about catching the people involved even though this is carried out by high level hackers but with bitcoin coming in, I dont need to be an hacker to dupe people of their resources, just send to my address and that is the final. This is the threat I see...
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best short-term investment you have ever made? on: March 13, 2017, 02:10:48 PM
What is the best short-term (3 months or less) investment you made?

In my own case, I wont say its the best but  learned from it and  I am happy I took the risk. Its concerning an ALT coin in which a colleague had told me had potential and I did believe him because I trust his words and the investment went into the coin in with the mindset of buying to hold that in no distant time, it will multiply but unfortunately the reverse was the case as I was bitten but at the same time I was happy I took the risk which is the most important thing to me...

An overview of the Bitcoin ETF and what it taught us about Bitcoin

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXm5rgKpxiY

The lesson that I see and can phantom that we have learned are the following:

1. There is always an after ETF whether it comes or not

2. The voice have been heard in places that matter and we are one step closer to adoption.

3. The strength of bitcoin is being tested against news as to volatility and so far we are not doing bad in my opinion.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Rejected : ETF on: March 13, 2017, 12:54:30 PM
http://satoshibonus.blogspot.com/2017/03/buy-and-sell-ethereum.html

US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rejected the Winklevoss twins’ Bitcoin ETF application late on Friday, cryptocurrencies reacted paradoxically with an impressive show of strength.

Even me, I had this in mind over the weekend that what if its being rejected and alas it came to pass but I guess its actually a test on how strong bitcoin is really is and this have been garnered over the years in the sense that if it were to be years back, I am sure with news like this the price would have came crashing that might even take more months to recover but alas we are still standing and its still good news all the way...
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will ”Capricious” Chinese Government Confiscates All Bitcoins of the Big Three? on: March 13, 2017, 10:42:46 AM

As bitcoin withdrawals suspension continues in China, many Chinese investors are complaining that the Chinese government is too “capricious“and unpredictable. Some believe they would manipulate the media to focus on negative reporting of bitcoin. And it might even could spell doom for bitcoin by confiscating all bitcoins of the three exchanges.  But some believe even if bitcoin dies, there would be more altcoins rising.
You can read more about the story at:
http://news.8btc.com/will-bitcoin-die-whencapricious-chinese-government-confiscates-all-bitcoins-of-the-big-three%EF%BC%9F

BTW, what do you think will be the doom day of bitcoin?

No matter how they try to shut down bitcoin, I believe they can only make an attempt but will not successful. What we will get is just going to be a little down turn and we will bounce back. The reason for that is because of the years bitcoin has been managing some level of stability as it even happened last week after the disappointment of ETF so whether they hold it or release it, we will always survive...
1418  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people believe in religion? on: March 10, 2017, 11:24:06 AM
Quite a number of people believe in Religion because they could not find answers to what they needed answers to and by so they term religion a place of solace where you take what happen by 'Faith' even though there is no answer. Others believe because they are convinced that, after life there is a place you are going to and that religion will provide a path for you among several reasons why people believe in religion...
1419  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: March 10, 2017, 10:16:42 AM
What if World War 3 breakout ?

Do you expect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to go down in price ? As people will swtich to hard cash or gold?

Note : There are wide power outages, servers getting down, no electrictiy and everything bad you can expect if WW3 happens

If World War 3 should break out, I dont expect any body to have time to think about what the price of bitcoin or any currency whatsoever to be. Because in the war of bio weapons, being in your house alone does not make you immune to the calamity of the war. So I expect that the world will go as much as 500 years backward in the case of world war as everything development would have been destroyed beyond repairs...
1420  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Couple arrested in the United Arab Emirates for 'having sex outside marriage' on: March 10, 2017, 07:18:11 AM
Even though personally I believe this law is out of the ordinary when people are old enough to make their decisions, they should be left alone but its their law and it must be obey whether by citizens or by outsiders so far you are in that country and they granted you entry subject to their terms and conditions, then its binding on you. For me, I am not even going to come close to a country which their law is restrictive because personal opinion does not really matter...
