1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Planned or impulsive gambling? on: March 20, 2017, 02:35:06 PM
Hi guys!
I was always curious if the most of the gamblers have "scheduled" their gambling time or you just go gambling whenever you're in the mood.
What about you? Is there any specific time you gamble? Week(ends) days? Or just randomly spread ?
Let us know Wink

My own case is not about mood alone as I can do my gambling anytime and any location so far I have access to the internet. Aside that what determines when I will play is really the availability of funds I can afford to lose before venturing into gambling so far that is settled, then I am good to go, whether mid-night or early in the morning.
1382  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: March 20, 2017, 01:14:45 PM
I went for I dont know because I cant really seems to separate between the two because both has the skill factor in common and with in play, it makes it difficult to determine which one is more risky but on the other hand, looking at it from a broader view, I still take gambling as more risky because even with the skill, one can still be cheated out by the casino or gambling site...
1383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Think About Bitcoin Betting? on: March 20, 2017, 12:44:26 PM
Hello, due my investment project I've started betting on soccer with bitcoins. What I can say about my experience is that it's awesome. Odds are attractively high (which makes me suspicious is there any chance I can't withdraw my money). I mean 1.7 odd at my local bookie is 2.1 at Cloudbet Which is 0.4 units difference which means that if I put $100 it's $40 which is nearly half my stake so it makes difference. 2 Bets with this difference and I can comfortably afford 1 more Smiley. Let me know what your oppinions on bitcoin betting

I will say good for you if you can actually make that kind of money from the odds provided by the betting site, then you are good to go but one more thing I think you need to add is that instead of being skeptical about whether you will get your money back or not from the gambling site, I suggest you just restrict your betting to reputable sites alone and save yourself of all the headaches of skepticism...
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: March 20, 2017, 11:27:38 AM
If today is really the last day then there is really nothing to do with whatever is left then I just gamble it out but where the issue will be is if I now win afterall since gambling is not always about losing then what happens? I will just simply continue to play until I lose everything and if that didnt happen then I guess I will just let the decision concerning the money be taken by those who will be coming after me or my next of kin...
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOU REALIZE OR NOT ? on: March 20, 2017, 11:13:33 AM
hi guys
you realize that lately rampant gambling using a means of payment with bitcoin and alt coin?
or you just enjoy it?
in my mind often arise some questions
have you ever thought the same as I?
and we are all aware that bitcoin is a virtual currency that may be said multi function to perform all types of online payments
Same here also , when I started to know about the bitcoin then I comes through many of the articles in the internet about the misuse of the bitcoin but I thought that those topics are fake and misguided but when about 2 months ago I made real entry in the gambling then I found that bitcoin is specially made for the secret payment usually for the gambling and payments for the online deals free of tax .
So indirectly we can say that it is just like a way to make bad thing also , But here is a big truth that no one can use bitcoin illegally Because every transactions are open to see so the owner and the security intelligence can easily trace you .
So here we should keep in our mind that bitcoin is available in our life for safe use  and trusted use .

There is nothing wrong in using bitcoin for gambling and its equally not a misuse at the same time because when a currency is established and accepted as a means of exchange then its free to be used and what you might regard as mis-use can be the right use for me afterall we have heard or seen how Fiat is used to pay for criminal activities among others. Bitcoin is money to me which should be used accordingly.
1386  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Avoid LOL ckminer.com Obvious Scam on: March 17, 2017, 09:46:37 PM
Pleas do not fall for things like this!

https://ckminer.com/index.php#calc

I have every reason to believe you didn't fall for it and you just owe it as a community member to inform members of the community not to fall for something like this, because if you had fallen for it, I would have blamed you in the sense that if you had been on this forum for that long to have the rank you have then falling for an obvious scam as this is definitely calls for concern...
1387  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: They do bitcoin trading? on: March 17, 2017, 09:14:49 PM
Hi,

Anyone knows what this group does?
They definitely do something with Bitcoins but I don't know how they do it.

http://bgmnet.com

Comment please.

PS: how do u guys make the subject font bold?

After reading through what is there on the site, I cant say specifically this is exactly what they do and they are announcing they are creating an imaginary scenerio so that to me also looks shady in which I won't want to be involved with but if after a lot of reviews on the positive side though I might then change my view on that but currently not at all.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much of your wealth is in Cryto/Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2017, 09:04:49 PM
Out of interest I'd like to do an informal poll to see how much of people's wealth they are willing to put into Cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin... percentage-wise of total investments/networth

After looking through what people have said it seems everyone have agreed in one direction not to put all funds into bitcoin and its simply because its risky for me, I would say 10% of my savings is in bitcoin and if I happen to lose some of that due to volatilty of bitcoin, then I am still standing strong without any backlash of inability to meet my needs...
1389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: March 16, 2017, 09:27:24 PM
There is no way there won't be that fear when the money is not cheap or given especaully when its funds generated as a result of hard work there will definitely be the fear what matters is that one should not allow that fear becloud judgement thereby making judgements based on subjectivity instead of objectivity and also when the money is eventually lost one should just move on as fast as possible...
1390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW MUCH YOU EARN/LOSE FROM TRADING on: March 16, 2017, 08:24:25 PM
I have not earn yet maybe sometimes in the future though but I have had my share in the art of losing when it comes to trading as I was really not decisive at the right time. My investment grew to about .14btc only for it to start falling but a naive me have a feeling that it will rise again only to give up after a long while and was able to only cash out .03 btc so approximately lost about .11btc at the end of the exercise...
1391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So no one cares about ETF decision, right? on: March 16, 2017, 04:56:33 PM
We haven't seen any huge downfall (as expected) after the decision of ETF. Do you think that we as bitcoin users have not paid any value to the ETF's decision?

In the case of disapproval, the predictions were floating around below $1,000 mark but we haven't seen any such mark.

Is it too early to speak about it or we have given a message to the world something like this?

Interested in exploring community's opinion about it. Bears must be disappointed because they lost the chance to short for huge points.

The reason I can adduced to that is that people in this crypto-world e are getting more mature that we no longer give in to series of panic selling and that all not all news we allow to influence our decisions concerning bitcoin. When the momentum was high concerning what will happen to bitcoin if the decision is negative, I hold the believe that whether ETF or no ETF bitcoin will still stand and we will still be here and thats exactly what happened...
1392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whether anyone believe???? on: March 16, 2017, 04:00:00 PM
Whether you believe if you Continuously Buying The same number, one day you can win the lottery. there i read some stories much people can being rich by using this way.

I believe its purely waste of time and money to think in that direction because even from what I have read, someone who has been playing same number for 5 years has not even won any, and there is no assurance that if that continues in the next 10 years winnings will come. It is purely based on chance and sometimes the machine generating to pick the winning numbers would have been configured to ensure that the number out there is not selected
1393  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: March 16, 2017, 03:10:00 PM
My response to that is these days gambling sites are rarely targetted I mean why would anyone would even want to hack a gambling site? Aside from the fact that these sites are built to stand attack, how much would one get may some dummy amount that will serve as account balance where the real account where fund is exactly is even secured with another level of security. To me, I am not saying its impossible for those who have the time and resources but I say, it might not worth it afterall...
1394  Economy / Services / Re: [SURVEY] Scammers - Gift cards on: March 16, 2017, 02:27:24 PM
Hello everyone,

I've been reading posts on this forum for a few mounths now, but this is the first time I post anything (I created this account just for it)

I work for a Fashion Retail company (www.calvinklein.com) but I will only speak on my behalf.
I recently discovered that scammers were trying to sell people false Gift Cards in exchange of Bitcoins.

You can be sure that it is impossible to buy gift cards at a lower value of the card itself, unless someone is very stupid.

My questions are: Do you know someone who has been a victim of such a scam? If yes, did they try to contact the brands customer service to alert them?

Thank you for your time.

Adrien.

I will say it is not true that someone who is stupid is only the person that can sell lower value because sometimes one might need cash in an emergency situation and that might necessitate the need to sell at a value lower than the face value. That also does not remove the fact that there are some who sell fake cards and the reason for that I will ascribed to greediness as well as the motive to make extreme profit. I have also fallen victim but not for Calvin Klein...
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: February was Record Month for Bitcoin Gambling on: March 16, 2017, 12:33:49 PM
Read more how the average bitcoin casino saw 3 BTC gambled every minute: https://bitcoincasinos.reviews/bitcoin-casinos-set-record-with-average-of-4000-gambled-every-minute-in-february/

*Made a comment below about this but check out this statistics website to see how each number was calculated.

https://thebitcoinstrip.com/stats/2017-02-01-to-2017-02-28

Thats really a record high if it has not been achieved before because 3 btc every minute is not cheap and I really want to see a research that will focus on winnings rather than wagers from there we can now do a very detailed comparative analysis at the same time putting a test on the various sites that have proven to be fair and also see how much the sites are making on the average...
1396  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to buy through Coinbase? on: March 16, 2017, 10:34:19 AM
Since you sound like you are in USA then you should understand how the system there works which might be hard to break and I wont blame Coinbase for going that hard to patronise its just because they also want to stay within the confines of the law so as to avoid trouble running with agencies of government. I dont know how it will work out there, but you can try other options like local bitcoin or even the exchange section where someone might be ready to transact with you outside coinbase but you need to be careful though.
1397  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Minig Vs Hardware Mining Which is best ? on: March 16, 2017, 09:07:54 AM
In 2017, cloud mining to me is a no go area for whatever reason the site might put forward simply because of what I have seen in the past and how this mining sites just come out of no where every now and then, and fold up again. In the case of hard ware mining, that is still a go area for me but not with enough capital because the difficulty in getting a bitcoin these days is something else but I will be open to a collaboration offering hardware mining rather than cloud.
1398  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The First Signature Campaign in Bitcointalk Forum on: March 16, 2017, 08:56:37 AM
I do think Safedice was the very first one.
They have been around since early 2013's and how can a site last that long without any promotion on this forum to survive this long? Embarrassed
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1009904.0

After taking a look at this thread, I found out that the thread was created in 2015 and I am sure there would have been some earlier than that. The answer to this in my opinion will be answered by mods or staff especially a thread for the update of signature campaigns I am kind of sure that the starter of that thread can provide a good answer to this...
1399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Viable in 2017? on: March 15, 2017, 05:29:59 PM
I am sure this topic has been dealt with several times on the forum several times and it has been generally accepted that anything that relates to cloud mining is scam. Its either it will take forever for you to recoup your investment, or you just wake up one day and find out the site is no longer working or something that will just be intepreted that your fund is gone.
1400  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese Female is jailed for Online Sex Show (NSFW) on: March 15, 2017, 04:19:54 PM
I dont feel pity at all for anyone found wanting to have break the law of the society so far the sentence is carried out following due process. whether that is fair or not, will be another discussion. The reason why we have laws is to prevent anarchy and so far it has been agreed by majority of the society that this is how we want to regulate our activities, any other person doing contrary to that is treated as an outcast and even punished to serve as deterrent to others.
