1421  Economy / Speculation / Re: can my bitcoin drop to nothing on: March 09, 2017, 07:33:56 PM
so I got my first 40$ worth of bitcoin i noticed that the that the 40$ goes up and down. Im scared that it will go to 0$ is this possible?, Should i spend my bitcoin on a giftcard? any help please

What you are witnessing is normal in this crypro-world you are in as the price might be erratic sometimes due to factors that are beyond some explanations you can get. But on a hard note, the price can't fall to nothing and you should also know that by coming in here now, you should be aware if the risk involved as the price can swing both ways but with time you will make some money...

He calls a woman "you son of a bitch" spits on himself and finally hits her. Just another day in the Muslim infested UK.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9wCwty8oNk

Its unfortunate why some people out of cheer mis-information or wickedness will behave in an irrational manner all in the name of religion. Sometimes I begin to wonder whether Muslims are different from Muslims or they have different Quran that they read because I have friends who are Muslims and they dont behave in an abnormal manner compared to what we see all over. I just hope this wont turn to something else...
1423  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why God exists in all people mind? on: March 09, 2017, 04:27:18 PM
People have the right to believe in whatever they choose to believe in without being judged for it and for those who dont believe in anything, that also a believe on its own without anybody castigating that. I believe in God and why He exists is because he exist and I dont owe anybody an explanation as to why I hold that believe as I am exercising my right as you too...
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your favorite gambling game? on: March 09, 2017, 03:13:08 PM
My favorite game would be dice game and high and low any site offering that is my favorite as I have less thinking and analysis to do. No time for that afterall instead of trying to predict what someone somewhere has fixed as in the case of sports gambling. I just go there with free cash and play. Luck shines on me, I win if otherwise, I rest and live with it. Another day will be for a win. Its as simple as that.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 09, 2017, 12:52:34 PM
Offline I try to ascribe by default to superstitions especially for lottery where you have to just pick numbers. But online, I dont believe in superstition because even the closest which is time is not valid because my time could be saying afternoon and the server might be reading mid-night. So I just play my game and decide to let go of anything called superstition. I play, when I lose I lose nothing more...
1426  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if bitcoin crash, could you put your money in another currency to be safe? on: March 08, 2017, 08:31:02 PM
For example, if bitcoin is going to crash and I exchanged it into $1200 Ethereum lets say. And it goes down to $800 USD, will the Ethereum value go down?

Could you exchange your bitcoin into another currency to be protected from a crash?
I think Coins like Doge, LTC , USDCOIN all of these are 99.9% stable always in the same price, 0.01% prob that you are very very very unlucky and it drop when you buy but I don't think it will happen.

What do you think ?

In the fist illustration most alts price are determined in relation to bitcoin which means a decrease in the price of bitcoin means their value to bitcoin will increase and vice-versa eg. If 10eth will get say 0.1 btc when the price is 1000USD and the price of bitcoin falls, it means ETH has appreciated as the same 10ETH can now get say 0.2btc.

On the other part, I believe that is the logical thing to do as even we have seen countries move their foreign reserves from one currency to a more stable currency...
1427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 08, 2017, 07:32:25 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

I saved bitcoin for the purpose of selling at a higher rate because that's the only means I have to spend my bitcoin that I have gathered over a number of days. There is no store around here that accepts bitcoin and since bitcoin has provided me an additional means of meeting my expense then I just convert to fiat then I get what I want to get...
1428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: March 08, 2017, 05:40:59 PM
I have read some arguments and came to the conclusion that for the fact that some people accepts a particular commodity or item as money does not make it so without one important factor which is Legal backing which makes it compulsory for anyone to collect within the defined jurisdiction. And this legal backing wont come without the support of government and until then I hold the belief that bitcoin is not money.
1429  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a war against china the only option? on: March 08, 2017, 05:32:10 PM
At every passing day Chineses oligarchs augment their power. The more powerful they get, the more assertive they are in all aspects.

A few examples:

Iran, the next north korea.
Freedom of naviagtions.
Freespeech.
Job stealing in the west by total slavery and with 0 respect for the earth.
Continuous weapon program to reach parity.
The will to regulate and subjugate the market liberty and all aspect of life to the will of the cccp.

I see 0 peaceful initiatives from there. Only gaining time until they reach leathal superiority. If allowed to ger there it will be a war, they will provoke to expand. So or they are stopped now with still western edge and sent back or later in a more symetrical and ugly way.

Advantages: once chinese power is reduced to hashes, it will possible to restore sanity worldwide (iran, nk, authoritarian regimes, attack on freespeech, restore the earth, trade freely and fairly).

Otherwise they will continue to conspire ans weaken by all means the west.

A war with china will be over in a single minute, full quantic: 1billion+ Deaths).

The windows of opportunity is getting smaller everyday...

Please prove me wrong... but you can't, i bet.

War should not even be thought of at all because the amount of casualty will just be too much to bear. I see all the problems listed here, as basically based on leadership incompetency and attacking China might even mean that the leaders might not even be affected in any way. Its like someone shooting in Los Angeles because he wants to get to Trump, its just basically killing innocent civilians that knows nothing about what is being done in Washington DC. What should be clamored for is really change of leadership and not war...
1430  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Platforms that sell bitcoin? on: March 08, 2017, 12:06:05 PM
Which platforms do you prefer to buy Bitcoin? Generally, trade sites, localbitcoins and bitcointalk sites are used.
Are there any platforms you buy bitcoin besides these?

There are several sites to sell and buy bitcoin depending on how strict the financial system of the country is. Over here, we have several options to pick from but one just need to be a bit careful not to fall in the hands of scammers who will collect your Fiat with the disguise of you to get bitcoin and you wont even see either of the two. Aside that, we also have a forum where you can deal directly with individuals with the use of Escrows as well.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one will you used? on: March 08, 2017, 05:54:30 AM
there are a lot of us demand shop that accepting bitcoin as payment, but from this forum i found out that there are some people unwilling to spend their bitcoin, so I want to asked If you found a shop that accepted bitcoin and fiat as payment, which one will you used?

if you are using bitcoin then maybe today 1 apple is 0.0008 btc , but tomorrow with 0.0008 btc you can buy 2 apples, but if no one used bitcoin for shopping then there won't be any shop that will adopting bitcoin anymore

so what will be you choice?

I will prefer to use which one will be beneficial to me in terms of cost because that same 0.0008btc that is now buying 2 apples today might end up not even buying one the following day but same cannot be of Fiat. What I will do is consider the cost if I change in to Fiat and then buy compared to when I buy directly with btc then from there I decide which one to go for...
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are all bitcoins considered equal? on: March 08, 2017, 05:24:19 AM
Hundreds of millions or billions of dollars in bitcoin has been stolen. Are these considered less valuable than untainted bitcoin? For example, let's say someone makes a large purchase (unknowingly) of previously stolen bitcoin. They deposit it into an exchange. Will the exchange balk?

Does a $20 bill stolen from a stranger's pocket spend any less easily than the $20 bill found on the ground or the $20 bill found in your pocket?

No.

That's one of two tragedies of bitcoin, it's as anonymous as cash.

Same thing on my mind even the drug pushers who try to clean their money before spending does so to avoid tracing from authorities and also to find  a basis for the source of their cash and nothing else. If bitcoin now provides a platform where you can't even trace such fund, or any need to defend where the money it bitcoin is coming from, then there won't be need to have a clean one or a dirty one. Even the one we all have, do we know how many addresses it would have passed through before getting to our wallets?
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to Bitcoin if IMF & World bank create ON WORLD Currency? on: March 07, 2017, 09:59:46 PM
Lately so much has been said about a New World order which will cripple the world ecconomy and introduce a new currency.
Does any one know what kind of crypto or paper currency they will Use?

The world today is ruled by egos of world powers and even IMF or world Bank decision is not even final as we have seen countries pull out of world bodies if they feel their interest is not being protected and same thing might happen if they propose such. How do one explain how USA and Russia of China will agree on particular currency, I doubt if that will ever happen...
1434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we know that the CIA didn't get to Satoshi? on: March 07, 2017, 09:55:50 PM
There is no way way we will know because we don't even know who Satoshi is to verify if the persoin they gotto is actually him and if they got to him, the question is did he do anything illegal by creating an ingenious project like bitcoin? Which I am sure is on the contrary. Another way again to look at it is that if they haven't gotten to him, then he must be really good at keeping safe because even the most dreaded set of people they were found by CIA...

1436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: March 07, 2017, 11:03:14 AM
Of all the times I have made some sale of bitcoin, its only once I would appeal to myself that I did right at the time that its needed. Even the last one I did, I missed the timing and would have waited a little bit more and make more money. The choice is so bad that I had lost to a dollar value of $100 by merely not waiting. How I wish I could have known the right time to sell I am sure I would have fared better in terms of finances that I am currently doing...
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: March 07, 2017, 10:15:37 AM
Here's few more tips (aside from the above answers):

1. Check for expiry of the domain (check for SSL expiry as well, in cases of these two being different in terms of either the start date or end date, it could be one red flag)
2. Sufficient information about the owner and brand (valid name, address and contact number of the owner or the respective brand), mostly hidden by some privacy protecting service.
3. No proof of funds.
4. "To good to be true" stuff.
5. A lot of wrong spellings.
6. Not having 24/7 support (an actual one).
7. Contact a reputable coder to check the source codes that can be seen and to check the software being used.
8. Check for license
9. Check rules/f.a.q and try to cross check everything that sounds different
10. The site, isn't presented in a professional way.

Although these might not be everything and just because some of these are present in a gambling website, doesn't make them automatically a scam but these should be warning points upon using such websites.

With all this listed here, its going to be a real work in other to verify and even complete this checklist up here. But I feel a scam site will have one thing that is being missed and this will serve as a red flag for any one who is sensitive to it. The only sure way to me is the community and even the scam section of the forum. With those two put together, a scam site might not go unnoticed. Aside that, why will I even bother myself about scam sites when there are numerous ones to play on without any issue.
1438  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 07, 2017, 09:51:48 AM
Over the few months that I have been exposed to the crypto-world, I have tried several means of earning bitcoin, firstly I tried bitcoin but I had to later drop that when it became clear I am not going to get to what I had in mind going that way and it might take forever. So, I go other means by joining a signature campaign, offering services that aligned with my specialty, joining twitter campaigns among other bounties that surfaced on the forum...
1439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will storing bitcoin kill it? on: March 07, 2017, 09:27:33 AM
If everyone start storing bitcoin and there is no single transaction for days, all miners will quite mining as without transaction there would be no reward.
Will it not kill bitcoin and make it useless?

I dont see why storing bitcoin will kill it the reason for that is every individual sees bitcoin in different light and its use depends on what appeals to us in a different way, To some people, bitcoin is to be used as a medium of exchange and no one can change their mind about that while to others, they believe its to be used as a store of value those are the category of people that will keep their bitcoin hoping that it will reach $10000 when it does, they will wait till $100,000 so its going to be impossible for everyone to think and act in one same direction.
1440  Economy / Speculation / Re: Major DUMP incoming due to upcoming BUChina hardfork on: March 07, 2017, 05:48:25 AM
China miners are about to hijack Bitcoin and cause a contentious hardfork splitting the Bitcoin blockchain.
Think the ETF rejection will be bad? Wait for the massive dump due to the Chinese!

Prediction: ETF rejection dump, MAJOR BUChina hardfork dump, hello $200 my old friend…

I know, I know, I sound like the duckmeister…

It always amazes me how stupid people can be. Thinking giving more control to miners than they already have is a good idea. With mining centralizing in China, that is just giving Bitcoin over to the Chinese. I have no idea why anyone would think that is a good idea…

When China destroys Bitcoin, everyone will wish they stuck with Core but it will be too late!

PS. I hope I am wrong.

The basis of your argument is what I could not even phantom because its basically based on assumption which might either be true or false. Firstly, you don't know whether the decision of ETF will be positive or negative then after that you don't also know what will be the reaction of the community to such news. In my own opinion, several issues will happen and the response of the market most times might not be predictable just let's wait and see how it unfolds in our very own eyes...
