Soon we will enter the drone wars, disagree with your masters and indeed you will be terminated.
1703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price about to explode..at 296.74 now.... on: July 29, 2015, 02:05:28 PM
Until we see a rise of $100 in one day there will be no explosion.  The shorters have to get brutally slaughtered for this to happen.. it will happen however.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 29, 2015, 02:04:35 PM
I don't think Bitcoin will ever replace the dollar or euro. One of the facts is that it's price is very volatile. But I do think that it will become mainstream one day.  Roll Eyes

It has a user base of like 250k people.. It won't be volatile when it has several billion
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Antonopoulos still right? on: July 29, 2015, 01:40:01 PM
You widly underestimate how "trival" a block size increase is...

1707  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 29, 2015, 01:19:37 PM
Do you count 15 years as soon? ?? I don't think that quick but maybe.
1708  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many people in the world own any amount of Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2015, 01:18:05 PM
250K PEOPLE is my guess.
1709  Economy / Speculation / Re: PnF TA on: July 28, 2015, 07:38:07 PM
To all perma bull/bears - I am neither.

But I think BTC (as most say) will have to either be at least 5 figure (minimum for me if it succeeds should be 50K USD / BTC) or almost 0.
I am not predicting the direction - I know though the importance of the 300$ barrier.
It is 4th time we retest it this year. IMO there is no room for another failure. Whatever that means..

BTW, below 50$ the project should be considered dead.

I couldn't agree more.  There is no it stays at a pathetic 4 Bill market cap situation.  IN 10 years it will be worth a lot or completely nothing.
1710  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Bitcoin Ruin Your Life, Or Help Your Life? on: July 28, 2015, 07:22:03 PM
Helped I guess...

One should NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER put so much money into BTC that it ruins your life.. EVER.

I've gotten decimated by the market but BTC has allowed me to donate to many things I believe in and has taught me SO much about cryptology it's crazy.

I`m sure 90% of the forum felt that before.

And yeah, its probably the worst feeling ever like how you lose at a casino. As for ruining your life comment, you should always think back on crazier people like the one who bought at $1k price or the fact the person sold his house for bitcoin.. remember that one?

I bought at $1200 lmao.  I also bought all the way down to even out my  buy price.  It wouldn't be the end of the world if it completely failed on me.
1711  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: July 28, 2015, 07:10:39 PM
I decided it would be a great idea to move .7 BTC to a wallet, encrypt it and forget the passphrase.......

The last part wasn't part of the plan lmao.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Allow for Fractional Reserve Lending? on: July 28, 2015, 07:09:47 PM
Fractional reserve banking is likely to become a part of the bitcoin economy, but perhaps to a lesser degree than the dollar.

What I fail to understand is how this could even be possible to happen with bitcoin. Can you explain??

It's ALREADY happend.. heard of MT gox.

The thing with bitcoin is there is no man with guns that foces you to accept that the FED defaulted and will force you to contiue to use their corrupt as fuck currency.

The company goes bankrupt and everyone that had cash with them gets fucked.

This is how fractional banking with the gold standard went down.. people were hung back in the 1200's for operating it.. now days people get bailed out by us....... This is why Bitcoin exists enough smart people are tired of getting fucked by the money masters.
1713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does BTCJam recover your loses in any way? on: July 28, 2015, 07:05:13 PM
At first you were screwed, this was AMAZING if you were smart as anyone could get a loan.

Now people need to jump through hoops so the people asking for a loan is down like 90%.... sure the odds are a lot higher you can take the person to court now but you can't get blood out of a stone no matter how many lawyers you throw at it and how many courts you bring it too.

I was DDDDDDDOMINATING on that site until it changed.. bah.

Had 1 defalter on my first loan because I was greedy, I made it all back and then some due to smart loans but now.. it's ghost town.
1714  Economy / Speculation / Re: The coming chinese mining boom on: July 28, 2015, 07:02:00 PM
Good call from OP, and first reply. These old threads have some gems.

First reply called it perfectly.  GPU mining lol.
1715  Economy / Speculation / Re: How will Ethereum's launch affect BTC's price? on: July 28, 2015, 07:00:07 PM
Ether will fail.

Nah I think it will do well, any one that thinks it will crush BTC is dreaming though.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL - Which Bitcoin will become the first national currency? on: July 28, 2015, 04:35:45 PM
The USD is a "smart value coin" how's that working out for the saver? utterly fucking terribly lol.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can smell the fear on: July 28, 2015, 04:34:09 PM
yes I have same impression.

they are somehow trying to separate entire blockchain technology and principles from bitcoin itself. it is logical, because blockchain can improve their services and help them but bitcoin slowly killing them.

I'm not so technically gifted to understands, if blockchain can works separated and without bitcoin usage..

It's network hash rate would be laughable.  No one is going to mine JPcoin when they can give them selves as many JP coins as they want.  The hash rate of bitcoin is what makes it so powerful, you'd have to convice the miners to jump.. good luck lol.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I can smell the fear on: July 28, 2015, 04:23:23 PM
Banks going on about how Bitcoin is useless but the blockchain is great..

Paypal advertising sending money across boarders claming speed and security..

Can you smell it in the air?
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the blockchain will be hacked on: July 28, 2015, 03:30:42 PM
I think someday its maybe will be exposed to hacker attacks, But maybe the attacks will not mean much.  Tongue
If people think blockchain will not be exposed to hacker attacks, I just like tell every people No System is Safe yeah.  Tongue

If you can solve what input produces 00000000000000000000008f9703af1d47f7d8557ba04d3ab86d6e6ccaa67be5   , you'd get 25 bitcoins.  Then you could do 00000000000000000000001f9703af1d47f7d8557ba04d3ab86d6e6ccaa67be5     for another 25.

You think people are not trying this.. thousands of them?

1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The legends of bitcointalk should make our own altcoin together, thoughts? on: July 28, 2015, 03:19:56 PM
A lot of us seniors of the bitcointalk community have made a decent amount of bitcoin over our time here. By way of selling goods, trading altcoins etc. My thoughts are for some of the powerplayers to come together and create a new altcoin that makes some real profit for all of us involved and also for the rest of the community, I want this coin to leave all the others in the dust. I want this coin to be cutting edge and provide great features to the crypto ecosystem and be a real competitor in the space.

To be involved in this project you have to have some seniority in the bitcointalk community (or bitcoin community in general) and you need to have 5 bitcoins to put towards the project to show your serious (These terms may be able to be waived if you have some other extremely useful skill) . Note* I will not be controlling other group members bitcoins so you don't need to have any fear in me scamming you.

So what do you say? Legends of bitcointalk we may have had arguments with each other before but this right here is our chance to really make it big to make more profit then we have ever had before.

Some people say the glory days of altcoins are over, I say they've just begun. Leave a reply and message me if you're interested.

Wait... do Hero Members count?

Also, I'd do it for kicks but trying to make profit on it, nope I don't wanna screw ppl.
