1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need an incentive to make first world population use Bitcoin on: January 01, 2017, 01:09:14 PM
I will want to disagree with op on the first page about the fact that since the second and third world countries are not in the Bank net then they will automatically see Bitcoin as an alternative. This I disagree, I am from a developing country and one the sectors that have grown at an increasing rate is the banking sector and this has take ages with various incentives put in place to get majority of the citizens in the Bank net, these they have been doing, at the same they are yet to finish not to talk of now bringing in a new currency to solve the solution... Where do we even start from?...
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: January 01, 2017, 01:04:27 PM
I don't think so, but it's price would be lower than it is now

Fiat will not be worthless and the simple reason for that is on the basis that its something that have been with us for long and humans over the years with the slow process of adaption have come to make it part of our life anything that wants to come in form of currency will only compete for space and nothing else... Another reason again is the fact that Fiat is not universal across the world this important factor will not make it easy to be abolished as different societies attach different sentiments to their currency...
1703  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: January 01, 2017, 12:57:11 PM
Over here too there are quite few things one can do with Btc without first converting to Fiat as at today but this cannot be compared to the situation of things in the past years at least we have progressed a little bit and the popularity is getting the right attention from the right places and hopefully we will see some changes very soon in that direction and that is what I am looking forward to...
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling idea on: January 01, 2017, 08:21:08 AM
The only few things I will suggest for you are
1. A fraud or scam free setting because if ypou think people are lazy like me to verify, I tell you some people are available to make it happen.

2. Another is the issue if support to eventually be able to answer complains and handle disputes in a timely manner.

These are my opinions dice games... And finally be ready for massive publicity...
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: January 01, 2017, 07:58:29 AM
Who does not want good thing? But the issue about all these bonuses is that they are not actually free in itself. They give you bonus on deposit and says you must use it to play in which they know that the chance of you losing it is high. Another they will tell you is there is maximum you can win with the bonuses among other constraints embedded in it...
1706  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Investing in Cloud Mining Still Profitable ?? on: January 01, 2017, 07:50:44 AM
To me personally, I will not take my time to find out whether its still profitable or not I have made up my mind not to invest anything in cloud mining in the sense that the ones that will pay, you will take forever to ROI, other that are springing up always have one thing in common which is to Scam... My opinion though...
1707  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: Worth The Time? on: January 01, 2017, 07:45:56 AM
I would want to say it does not worth it for lower rank, but I am going to take back my because either way it just Worth's it even at lower rank, it gives the opportunity to even earn something and serving as incentives to come online at the same time building your accounts among other things... Another reason is that, it gives opportunity to everyone irrespective of your ability to earn something with a techie nor a graphics designer...
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: January 01, 2017, 07:41:10 AM
It is true that I have not lost this much because I have not had this much and I believe that I can only bet what I can afford to lose and because the individual have such amount, that's the reason why its like that... And more so, I  am sure its a total of combination of his bets over time and not just one bet after all...

1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was the purpose of creating bitcoin from the beginning? on: December 30, 2016, 06:29:59 AM
It's all here in the first few paragraphs: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

And you have it there, just go through it and your curiosity will be satisfied not only for you but for quite a number of people here at this time including myself to get a broader understanding of the uses of Bitcoin beyond the narrow view we might have had previously. I am clicking it now...
1711  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling with 0.01 bitcoin on: December 29, 2016, 10:37:13 PM
With all the sites on this particular section of the forum, one is still asking for suggestion, anyway irrespective of the number of advice you had able to garner, my own, what  that I will add to it for you is that due your own due dilligence because some good sites have turn to scam and we have seen some still available... A word is enough...
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2016, 10:26:34 PM
Many wealthy people can live off the interest of the money they have in the bank,or other passive income,  How high would Bitcoin price have to be for you to live off Bitcoin?

It is true your assertion for someone who has like a billion dollars would not need to work again but such cannot be said to be same as Bitcoin as we dont have Bitcoin banks to pay us interest and most investment sites are scammers in disguise...

In that vain, for me, I would really focus more on the value of Btc and the forces of demand and supply determine how rise it will for me to be ready to sell at that time....
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: December 29, 2016, 10:22:19 PM
will not happen in my country because theres a lot people confident with the old style.. they dont give a trust about online wallet thing
so.. i think bank will not disappear Wink

Even over here, I dont see it happening because even with the banks that have stayed with us for ages quite a sizeable me members of the population have not been able to be captured into the banking sector sector not to talk of coming with a different payment system in its entirety. Where do we even start from? From the enlightenments to the provisions of internet to transact which is definitely not cheap... The will just continue to accommodate each other...
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin address generation completely random? on: December 29, 2016, 09:36:03 PM
I am always wondering this question. Of course from the computer science point of view, nothing is really random. You have a random function which may use system timestamp as a seed, or combination of mac address, computer architecture etc. So if I try to generate the bitcoin address using the similar conditions that Satoshi once had, maybe I can generate his address with a larger probability and may succeed one day, and get his lost treasure, lol. Though sounds not easy, but it is still possible, right?

For whether, it is randomly generated or specifically generated, I dont care and I dont want to know. Its none of my business. What concerns me is when I need a new address, I want to be able to generate it, then use it get funds in which I must see in my wallet, give me that, then I am cool...
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2016, 09:32:05 PM
Several dreams from the first page down to the last page, some have come true, some will be unfufilled for Op, if he has the 5btc I am sure the reality on grounds has surpassed his dreams. For me Oya actually when I found my way into Bitcoin and started claiming Bitcoin then I started dream to make it big ink those calculations are easy to come by alas the dream didn't come through because I gave up on claiming faucets and hoping my dream will get fufiled through another means...
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: December 29, 2016, 09:25:54 PM
Others have suggested several reasons based on their level of understanding and also what appeals to them. For me I am more inclined to the fact that it cuts across borders in the sense that it does not limit itself to a particular race, individual or country that defeat the quest of world powers to allow their currency dominate other nations not as strong as them...
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We got hacked" coming ! on: December 29, 2016, 09:17:38 PM
Thank you for the advise as well as the assumption in which you based this upon as it is verifiable as we have seen this several times that I have read then they will claim ddos attack and that's one of the issue I am still having with Bitcoin as no one t be held responsible for the loss of funds by investors untill when that is established we will continue to have insiders and even owners of sites compromise security for the sake of their selfish interest...
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi and Bitcoin value on: December 29, 2016, 09:12:23 PM
In my own contribution, the effect it will have Bitcoin might be much or minimal depending on how the media might want it to play out at the same time, how convincing the story will be because I have read how some other people have claimed to be Satoshi. But I am of the opinion that if he should show it will affect the price negative as the anonymity behind Bitcoin has finally been revealed...
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 29, 2016, 08:18:57 PM
I would like to know if anyone of you earns 0.1 BTC per week or even more? Is this possible and what is best way to earn it? Your experiences, suggestions and advices are very welcomed.

It's pretty hard to earn 0.1 bitcoin or higher per week because earning the said amount only seems possible if you have your actual not just only but like what other people said if you have some thing which is best of you offer to other people maybe you could do that , or maybe if you have a business if you have a good knowledge in trading then why not deal with it .

I agree with you that, that amount is really difficult to earn especially for someone with no special skill in this cryptoworld and not even versatile in the skill of trading as that even the highest one can from SIG campaign is 0.04 but that does not mean its impossible all that is needed is to just acquire the necessary skill, or learn the art of trading and also build reputations then you're steps closer to making the 0.1btc...
1720  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: December 29, 2016, 07:57:02 PM
The two of them must find a way to coexist whether they like it or not because with one trying to outshine each other will not do well for both. With dollars abandoning Bitcoin will make it difficult for countries like mine whose currency is not directly trade able to Bitcoin impossible to deal with Bitcoin and this will even push out a lot of citizens of such countries among other outcomes of such decisions...
