Hello,

Is the 10% discount offer for people who purchased from other manufacturers still available for SP30 August 2nd Batch?

For the SP30: Yes, contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com
It's not available for the SP10 anymore

No. If you give the client 5% coupon , it must to be valid.

The 5% coupon was valid for the group buy link.
Please contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com and we'll provide you a new coupon.

FYI my second sp10 is delayed by FedEx due to Spondoolies failing to provide a tax ID...

FedEx tracking:606229609952

Ironically my first sp10 was delivered by DHL without any delay though missing the parts bag... no response from sp on missing parts though once second one arrives I will have what I need.

Tax ID is typically provided by the importer, ie you, as you are the one paying import fees.
Quote
"Shipment requires importer's registration/identification number for clearance."

They want you to provide the number. Phone FedEx and tell them that you are importing it as a private person, and that it is a server (which it technically is, a bitcoin mining server).

This is correct. We'll ask the Tax ID / Social security number in advance from US customers next time.
Better yet, US customers should post the info in the order note to expedite shipping
We're learning each courier issues...

Quick start guide: http://storage.googleapis.com/spond_public/materials/SP10%20-%20Dawson%20Quick%20Start%20Guide%20DR2%206_4_14.pdf
Certificate of conformity: http://storage.googleapis.com/spond_public/materials/SPOSAF_EN.25629C.pdf

After connecting your miner to the local network, browse to http://myminer.io from a laptop / desktop connected to the same network.
Use admin / admin to configure your miner
I have been looking at Dawson Quick Start Guide the prerequisites part and I don't think you actually need CAT 6 Ethernet cable CAT 5e will be more than sufficient for that purpose. Also have a question about serial console port about serial settings baud rate, parity, flow control and does it work with Cisco console "the blue" cable or some different pinout?

CAT 5e will be sufficient.
We don't ship with the serial console cable. If you're interested in purchasing it, please contact sales@
I'm not sure it's compatible with Cisco console "the blue" cable, it was custom produced by us. You don't need it for daily operation, you might want it if you want to develop.

So there is no option to setup the miner trough CLI only web GUI?

Sure there is, you can ssh to the miner: root / root

My SP10 was delivered to New Zealand by DHL and I am very happy with that delivery. Happy to have my August SP30s delivered to NZ by DHL.

Me too, to have DHL deliver my SP30...

My DHL Express Shipment:

Ship Date: 1:09 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014  (Israel)
 +1 Pieces
Total Weight: 30.9 lbs

Delivered 12:31 PM Friday, April 18, 2014  (USA)
 +1 Pieces
Total Weight: 30.9 lbs

~Blaise

Shipped May 15th, Israel

May 19th, "The shipment is pending completion of customs inspection. "

May 20th, "The shipment is pending completion of customs inspection. "

May 21st, "The shipment is pending completion of customs inspection. "

DHL == DUH. NO thanks I am happy to have the option, not that I will ever ROI so...

For US customers, we're currently shipping with Fedex. We'll start shipping with UPS as well to test who give the better service.

RockerBox engine "ultrasound" images from the TO review done last week in GUC.
Unlike PickAxe, RockerBox doesn't use any custom placement or custom designed cells.

It shows that the automatic tool did a great job on the pipeline placement.
Each RB engine compose of two pipeline SHA256 engines, each pipeline SHA256 engine has State part (placed internally) and W part (placed externally)

Due to the recent issues with DHL shipping to the US we are looking into other couriers.

We will continue to update and should have a new solution within the next few days.

Thanks everybody for bringing these issues to our attention!

Gadi

We are no longer shipping to the USA with DHL.
There are two other options we are testing, may the best courier win.

Spondoolies, what happened to the work with the PSU supplier? I thought that the cause of most of the noise according to past reports from you and Doogie's reviews showed that the major source of noise was the PSU fan and that you were trying to get it turned down because it didn't need to be running at that speed 100% of the time.

Unfortunately, Emerson won't provide a fix to the 1050w PSU.
The SP30's 1200w PSU doesn't have this problem.
