1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: December 11, 2018, 03:51:12 PM
There is no password needed for myether wallet only private key or UTC file to access.
There's other method to access the wallet too and some of them may really requires password but using privkey or json will not require anything, imagine if MEW saves all the password it'll be dangerous because that means the system is centralized and vuln against hacking.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: December 11, 2018, 03:46:42 PM
If people who are new to the Cryptocurrency will certainly ask, Why do people choose Cryptocurrency? If there is an investor, you certainly understand why you prefer investment in this cryptocurrency. Because this cryptocurrency provides a way or opportunity for us to seek profits. Of course, Cryptocurrency also have a big risk, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Because what we are looking for is a way to get profits that is in Cryptocurrency.
Cryptocurrency in term of earning profit works the same way as thsoe stocks that you can buy freely some logically you wont risking your money into something like cryptocurrecny becaue I believe that there's other reason for people to choose crypto and one of them is the decentralized nature.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that 99% of all airdrops are shitcoins of bad projects ? on: December 11, 2018, 03:01:27 PM
From my own experience I can tell from all the airdrops that I know the top projects were only: Vite, Ontlogy, Dfinity. All others were shitcoins Angry

Personally, I used to actively participate in various promising airdrops. After all, they regularly provided rewards. Unfortunately, over the past year the situation has changed dramatically for the worse. Therefore, I participate less and less in airdrops. I really hope that next year the situation will improve.
Trying airdrop for few cents out of filling the free time is totally alright as long it doesnt require that important thing called our private data.
However, it seems you really judge the value of a project based on its initial release whereas most of airdropped project need something called "progress"
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do developer find it difficult to pay bounty hunters on: December 11, 2018, 02:42:18 PM
Because they know they'll get away with it. Developers care little that someone has spent a lot of time on their favorite product. They are ready to save on everything and everyone. So far, there are no regulators that would protect the rights of the bounty. I only hope that such projects will not live long. Bad always comes back and greed sometimes very quickly finished with the team. A good team with a good project usually pays for the work of the bounty. I hope that the old days will return and we still earn our Smiley
Only reason why they are getting away is because there are not enough complains for not receiving payouts.    In one regular bounty campaign there are more than thousand hunters I think if all these people start not only complaining but spread word that they were scammed, these projects will lose their costumers in short time and it will be in their best interest to send payments then.
Sometimes some project just get away with such thing tho, but legit project I'll trust that they are really paying and have the intention to.
Unlike those scammy project even if there's millions of complain they would just keep their mouth silent because that's their intention from the very beginning.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long it will take for altcoins to become popular? on: December 10, 2018, 11:27:53 AM
We can see these days that not all people know cryptocurrencies, if they do perhaps they have heard only about bitcoin, but without owning or having the experience of making any transactions.

Maybe altcoins will become popular within 3 years from now?
This time is really not sure, but the focus is on how the project's team operates and operates to make the altcoin popular.
That will not make altcoin popular, the most affecting thing to make crypto popular is by marketing or advertising it, just for the example the hype bitcoin got back then is because the publicity by the mainstream media, if crypto could repeat the same thing it will work, otherwise it will ended up in misery.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: December 10, 2018, 11:22:06 AM
To see clearly documents that require a very good camera. That's why most people simply can not pass KYC so. I made my point of view.
Right on the spot, imagine having to verify people with crappy web cam in their laptop that'd be another disaster, people may say they can verify through phone but it'll make everything even more complicated. We need better technology before implementing this kind of thing to public.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH USD going down has two positive effects on: December 07, 2018, 07:49:05 AM
ETH USD going down has two POSITIVE EFFECTS:

1. Reduces the interest in the space for short-term focused investors;
2. It also reduces the interest in the space for projects aiming to quickly raise money on hype and never deliver.

Perhaps it's the perfect time we wise up about this domain - investors need to do better and more research, have direct contact with teams and really look into the technology.

Agree?

Speaking about technology - I'd appreciate some feedback on our now open source prototype: https://github.com/ElrondNetwork

I'm not agree with you, the speculators were converting their money to the fiat and they will create another movement again in the future. But i agree with your second point. Only the serious project will get a lot of attention from the investors.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $98,90 Ethereum - New critical mark. What will happen to the projects of ICO ? on: December 07, 2018, 07:34:51 AM
I don't think its still worth it investing to projects.

But there are projects that are notable for their excellency that have been proven them to be worth it but it takes time to see that. We've got a new critical mark for ETH, @$85.56 and take note that bitcoin's dominance is 55.3%.
You should put the main problem on bitcoin because a lot of people are interesting to liquidate their coins to the bitcoin as fast as possible and that gives a very bad impact to the altcoins included ethereum as the thrid major crypto. A bump will happen a few days later.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xmas Bull Run!! on: December 06, 2018, 05:25:44 AM
im starting to doubt that this bull can run this year, but im hoping that next year will be a new start and will shock the world with a stronger market.
If there is something that supports for example many governments in various countries start giving statements to legalize bitcoin, ETFs Approved, and many others. will certainly make demand rise. hope that there is a magic coming at the end of this year

The events you mentioned would mostly take place next year. So i think we shouldn't be talking about bull runs for this year anymore because that may just raise false expectations. If it comes it comes, just don't expect it to to save yourself from disapointment.
Yeah we shouldn't have big hopes this year because that will only make you disappointed. but little hope is certainly not a problem right? like hoping there was a magical from Christmas?
if there is no big thing that can come to wait this year. so this year there is no a significant positive change.
Just try to forget your portfolios and then waiting for the next year and this will become the best thing rather than always watch our portfolios are getting down time to the time. You should remember about the bullish trend is actually not happen this year.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the current situation of the crypto market now? on: December 06, 2018, 03:42:53 AM
The crypto market still declining and I can not see any bullish sign that the market will reverse. My opinion is that the market will be rise by next year as there is no positive news in the crypto market.

It is possible the price is going to recover in the next year but it is not a sure thing, many thought that we were going to see a recovery by the end of the year, but the year is almost over and it does not seem like it is going to happen, so now they are switching their predictions to the first or second quarter of 2019 but that does not seem that likely to me either.

We have a capacity to visionize the situation according to the market theory. If the market hit the great bull last 2017, why do it won't happen now?.. The market may not look good for now due of its high volatility and rapid growing prices, still we could assume its bountiful and enormous outcome by the early months of 2019. Let us keep motivating and predict the accurate output of crypto market, and proceed to invest and buy more profitable coins.
The market will surely recover and it will reach prices that we have never seen before, that much is clear to me, the problem is people want that to happen now, they do not want to wait for any amount of time for that bull run to come, that is the biggest problem if those people were willing to hold their coins for as long as it took for the bull run to appear there will not be any problem and they will get almost unlimited profits.
To create a bullrun need a lot of effort and we need more institutional investors, A lot of big news and Hype. People being scared after they are seeing their portfolios worth nothing. But i cna be patience for that and may be i will be back again in a few years later dude.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum will rise again. on: December 06, 2018, 03:38:46 AM
Ether is already rising as the current ether price in cryptocurrency market is not sustainable. Ether price have become so low that the miners are packing, selling their gears! I think tye price will rise in coming weeks!
Ill think it not rising maybe it dropping more the price, Just to look at the CMC or any other exchange the Eherium was down the price same of the bitcoin and not only those ill think all of the altcoins in the market was have same situation.
I hope that ethreum will quickly recover to make investors more interested in the digital market as well as make us more profitable from investing them.
ethereum will rise again it make we are  more than richer
Lol that's maybe in your dream dude. Bitcoin goes down and everything also following it. I thought that you must see that how the bitcoin was going from the roof to the ground. Just expect it to be rebound and at least we have the more chance to take the advantage from it. I will not put a lot of hope in crypto.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO is a sleeping giant or not??? on: December 05, 2018, 02:13:17 PM
I believe not like other coin, NEO will be affected by Chinese government's stance towards crypto and them.
NEO kind of coin. Created for a specific market with specific goals. So far, no complete implementation has been found for NEO. Therefore, it does not have a potentially high price.
Until bitcoin will worth a lot of money again and NEO will still remain the same. A lot of platforms have been created by various developers. I thought that this will be a very difficult competition for neo. It's not even popular in china.
1753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about privacy coins? on: December 05, 2018, 02:10:47 PM
Hello everyone. I am a quite new person here. I wonder what do you guys think about privacy coins? This is a very interesting  topic for me as private / anonymous money is one of the fundamentals that I believe Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to achieve.

What do you think is the future of the privacy focused projects? Are they worth attention? What might be the pros and cons of them? What privacy coins do you use? What coins do you recommend and maybe what coins you don't like and wouldn't recommend?

Please share your opinion! I am very curious about that as I've got some private cryptocurrencies on my radar, but first would like to hear from you. What's your perspective, experience and predictions?
They are worth of attention from you but remember this is only for major privacy coins which has created a very good technology just like monero. I can only suggest you monero coin as the best privacy coin right now. Some people have proven it if monero was having the best tech compared to another crypto.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: are you afraid of the current market situation. on: December 05, 2018, 02:09:11 PM
This is because several months the crypto currency market has experienced a major outbreak. And start falling btc and expect coins too. As a trader, I feel tension and fear when the market slowly drops due to the garbage market ... What about you who are afraid when the market goes down.
I'm so scared to see that but just try to remember when the price of crypto worth pennies and this time it's even better for me personally. I thought that we will see that again in a few years. and i just believe in my crypto. But the downtrend of market has created a lot of fear
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: December 05, 2018, 02:07:30 PM
I have experienced panic when I saw prices drop dramatically in recent times, but I don't want to be more troubled by doing CL, which will make me regret
But i have seen my portfolios and it has been going down even more. I just still believe in the future of crypto. I hope that we will see another big increase again in the future. Just try to forget all of my portfolios lol
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Bitcoin Cash? on: November 29, 2018, 07:03:43 AM
This coin has the same future as the rest of the coins. If the market recovers and begins to grow, then the Bitcoin cache will gain momentum and grow in value.

There's nothing difference for bitcoin cash. BCH is died. BCHABC used BCH ticker and BSV was creating a new one. It has no future consider about if these politicians will always exist and they are all will become plague to the cryptocurrency. that was i can get from this story.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: November 29, 2018, 05:44:31 AM
Do you think paying bounty hunters in bitcoin or ethereum a good idea so that there is uniform payment among the participants? What is your thought about this? Maybe this is the first step to turn back the trust they lost because of mostly valueless coins they offered. What is your thought here guys?
Yes i do. that's a good idea to prevent the dump of the token itself. Bitcoin and ether gives a lot of volume and that will not give any impact to the price of token. did you remember most of tokens being dumped caused by that doesn't have a lot of volume. It should be a good method to pay the hunters.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: November 29, 2018, 05:41:08 AM
I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.

In my opinion. Once the bounty hunters are paid, they are all sold out quickly regardless of value. Therefore, the price of the ICO after the list is reduced.
The ico must create another option just like to give a chance to pay them all with the coin that has a lot of volume. that can prevent the dump on the coin's price. Meta hash has been doing it and it works. These ico creators must learn from metahash about that dude.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not buy Ethereum on: November 29, 2018, 05:39:48 AM
In May, when topic was posted ETH was on high, 750$ incredible price for now.
Who bought a lot during that time, must be very feeling very unlucky right now. 110$ for ETH.. unbelievable price
If they have bought on that moment and they can get more up to 7x in total for now. I guess that's why those holders are feeling depressed to see that the price of ethereum has been declining a lot. they have lost more than 70% of their funds and it makes sense to see a lot of people are feeling panic.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 23, 2018, 11:54:26 PM
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

Investing in ICO will be exactly profitable only if you choose the right project. So in this case you can get everything you need without even thinking about what is the method of earning
Hyped project is a key to get instant profit. Remember when those major coins are getting a lot of hype and they can try to get more than 20x from the ico price instantly and there was a lot of new millionaires from this way. just try to look at how much hype that gained by the project.
