I will also be switching to Nc3. And this war chess game is serious business, the people want to be heard Too late!! We are already on to the next round. I will go for Bf4 only.

I would consider b3 to later fianchetto the bishop. You have to plan for the future, and if you are playing Bf4, you do not have a target. The knight on c3 may control the center, but then what? Is that its best square? If black wanted to (though unlikely) he could at any point play b4 and kick the knight back and stack up on the c file with rook and queen to push c4.
b3 prevents c4 and also gives the bishop a good square aimed at the king. Then, the rook on a1 can move to c1 and you can target the weak c5 pawn.
I would also be interested in getting the rook at a1 to c1, but I won't support c2. Developing pieces is important now. If nobody else is interested in Bg5, my second preference is Nc3.

I would play Bg5 right now. Going forward, would like to evaluate Nc3 vs. Nd2 and take a decision.

There id no such term as 'lost forever' for bitcoin. Because private key is shared by many people. Someone may have the pk of satoshi wallet by 2050.
Nope. The whole premise of Bitcoin is that the probability of that happening is so small that it is virtually zero.

the player whose first eligible wager transaction had the lowest TXID will win the Grand Prize
Just a small clarification.... Lowest TXID = earliest transaction?

Yes girls use Bitcoin. Vending machine selling tampons for Bitcoin. /thread Maybe they just make their boyfriends buy them.

I would go with Qc2. I admit that it does look passive, but you should be leading with your minor pieces at this stage of the game, not the Queen. Plus I would like to be on the diagonal with h7 (might develop an attack in the future).

Don't be fooled by the quiet and slowly rising price. The next dump will bring it all the way down to at least $180. There simply is no demand. Put your buy orders around 150-160.
A contrarian view might get lucky sometimes. But this time, we seem to be going in only one direction - up.

If I have time I plan to talk to a few more players about bitcoin. The last person I spoke to seemed very receptive.
On another note, there have been tournaments organized with prize money in cryptocurrency. http://www.freechess.org/Events/NXT/I hope this gets bigger with time.

I am a fan of Luckybit and my avatar reflects it (apart from the fact that I get paid for wearing it).

I'm still recommending Qb3. The reasoning behind this, if you can see, is that d4 and d3 give him an advantage because he can insert the move b5, attacking the queen, kicking it away, and then playing Bb2.
He doesn't need to take the d4 pawn if d4 is played, because he can develop his bishop if we take on c, and d3 is very passive.
However, with Qb3, if he plays b5, we get to play whichever move matters more to the situation, getting more flexibility.
d3 enables you to develop the Bishop. I prefer it to d4 since the pawn is supported and I don't want the d pawn exchanged now. I don't see how Qb3 helps because black can anyway play b5 followed by Bb7.

8. Nc3. About the move, it seems to me that now is the right time for the already proposed pawn in d4.
8. d4
I disagree. It's an even worse time than ever. It blocks off useful escapes from 8... b5 and we don't even have our rooks together yet. 8. d3 is better if you just want to get the bishop out. So far we have two votes for d4, one for Qb3, and one for Nc3. I will support Qb3 or d3 if nobody else likes Nc3, since either of those are better than d4 in my opinion. I will go for d3 as well. Nc3 seems to restrict the movement of the Queen. So I am against it. If d3 isn't that popular, I would look at d4.

Easier to vote than make a well reasoned argument in support of a topic.

really? how did you know price will up next year It is his view, an intelligent guess, given the long downturn and block reward halving next year.
