Suggestion for the binary options:

Instead of a flat .0002 trading fee, make it the lesser of .0002 and 20% of the contract price. Thus a contract that is bought/sold for .0009 would only charge a fee of 20%*.0009=.00018

And a contract that trades for .0002 would only cost a fee of .000040

This change will encourage bigger volumes on your lowest price contracts. Currently I see contracts quoted for prices that are less than the transaction cost, which makes little sense, unless of course your aim is to limit trading.

Why don't you wear our signature campaign? I think you will gain some registrations and thus earn some commissions in additional to the campaign payment.

I've thought about it. Two issues for me: First, in the short-to-medium term I think BitBingo pays better. Second, if I campaign with Coinut and a referral link, I will likely post some instructional stuff, which would require more of my time. And right now I DON'T want people imitating me because I could get crowded out.

And finally, I'm concerned you guys are vulnerable to competition. Currently your functionality remains quite primitive, and I'm thinking there are a few guys/teams looking to do you one better. It doesn't appear you have a credible, direct competitor at the moment, but rest assured one is on the way.
1742  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: luckyflop.eu appears to be rigged on: June 25, 2015, 05:16:46 PM
I wouldnt be surprised if one or both of those "players" was a bot designed to profit for the other player; im not exactly a poker player but it shouldnt be surprising to know that bots have been coded for poker long ago, this is just a big improvement on them.

Here is an odd fact: My best online table games were when I found myself heads up with a poorly programmed bot. It folded 90% of hands pre-flop. It couldn't have been easier. Don't fear the bots. Identify them, figure out how they play, and then pick their pockets.

Bots are more disciplined, but less intelligent. THAT is a huge opportunity for a skilled opponent to exploit ...

That said, you'll have to go somewhere else to play them, because I haven't seen bots at the Luckyflop ring games.
1743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: luckyflop.eu appears to be rigged on: June 25, 2015, 05:13:03 PM
A couple points:

Be nice to the fish. LUCKYFISH - you're not the first guy to have trouble playing Jorjito, he's just good and you have to be on your game. Just borrow your mom's credit card and have another run at his stack ... it all comes back eventually. The key is, you gotta stay in the game long enough for things to swing your way.

As for these guys being 'unbeatable' - it is not true. You just have to play well. I'm up a little against Bitkiller (I think) ... but a part of that is that I knew not to press my luck when I wasn't fully in the game. He is skilled, and if you are lazy he will take advantage. Here is a key: you have to play them long enough to figure out HOW they play, and let them settle into their pattern. It's like rope-a-dope. You let them grow complacent, and then rape them in their sleep. Lol ... that's my approach anyways. If you try to beat them, without having some type of soul read, the odds are much less favorable.

Hi OP,

Are you aware of any other specific poker rooms that are running iPokerbot in a manner similar to what you had tried?

If so, let me know via PM ... and I give you a generous cut of whatever I can make of it.

Enjoyed your site - best of luck with this.

*It is a very clean, and solid platform ... market is just sooo thin right now, tough on everyone.
1746  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: June 24, 2015, 06:31:32 PM
Hey guys. I currently have a little over 2btc at my disposal. I was wondering what the safest and best way to flip that into 4btc, and the 4btc into 8btc, etc. I really want to save up for a powerful ASIC, and am stumped as to how to turn this into more. I've tried exchanges, but end up losing more than I gain. Im looking for a solid and sure way to make coin off of what I have currently. Thanks!

Anyone who knew how to do this wouldn't be telling you how ... they'd be too busy doing it themselves. And the opportunity is likely limited, so telling you forces them to share.

But seriously, this is what I would do: Open an account at 796xChange and wait until you see an extreme high or low in BTC price, and then load up on the weekly futures, long or short, for the bounce/retreat. You can get 10x leverage there, so with a 10% price move you double your money. Of course if the btc price moves 10% in the wrong direction you are wiped out.
1747  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [OFFICIAL]Bitfinex.com first Bitcoin P2P lending platform for leverage trading on: June 24, 2015, 06:18:54 PM
Does anyone know who's handling PR / Relations for bitfinex right now.  I need to talk to someone about a project I'm working on, and all the people I know seem to be a bit MIA (mrj, urwhatuknow/Giancarlo, etc...)  I'm at a bit of a loss for who to talk to these days, and I hate just sending emails to the void of support@ without some idea who I'm connecting with....

I send you PM for a direct e-mail.
1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: What would the community support in a new Poker Site I'm considering launching? on: June 23, 2015, 06:01:31 PM
I'd like to see a btc poker site that offers insurance to the leading hand. I would play this exclusively if it came out.
1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: June 23, 2015, 05:59:32 PM
This is just futures with high leverage. You would most likely lose all your capital before you can make 20x in 30 minutes.

Yes, the title 'Make 20x profit in 30 minutes' is somewhat regrettable I think. OP was just trying to get the attention of gamblers, as he was posting in the Gambling sub-forum. Investing with options is a specialty that apparently isn't familiar to many btc junkies.
1750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: June 23, 2015, 05:54:59 PM
This is just futures with high leverage. You would most likely lose all your capital before you can make 20x in 30 minutes.

Options in general are always high leverage mostly due to the time factor.

I guess you can make alot of money with this when BTC is moving with volume but usually its moves very slow.

Some options, depending on the strike price, can provide high leverage. A deep in-the-money call might not provide any leverage at all. I'm not sure 'time factor' had anything to do with leverage of the position, per se.

The key is that option strategies can be used to profit from any type of market. Options can help you profit from a flat market, if you place your bets accordingly. THAT is the primary utility of options - you can tailor your risk/reward exposure. Leverage can be had via futures or buying margin. Only options allow one to shape their risk/reward profile in the way they do.

1753  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: June 22, 2015, 03:59:31 PM

How did you guys all of a sudden get almost 20000 trades in volume? I assumed it was a mistake but there is alot of open interest for most options.

Their weekly contracts expire on Saturday, so there are lots of customers who start trading their newly liberated margin. Thus you should always see volume rise significantly around Sunday-Monday immediately following expiration.
1754  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: June 21, 2015, 08:31:36 PM
Binary options are pure gambling.
Have fun!!!

Well, lets have a look at my results to-date:

Contracts opened & closed: 1213
Contracts closed at a profit: 1104
Contracts closed at a loss; 109
Total net profit: 1.371 btc
Avg profit per closed contract: .00113
Maintenance margin on each contract: .010 btc
Avg. return: 11.3%
Avg holding period: 9 days (my guess)
Total Commissions & fees paid (at .0002/contract): .2426 btc

That doesn't look like the results of a 'gambler.'

In the end binary options are simply an instrument, like a stock or a bond. It is what you DO with them that make them an instrument of gambling, investing, or whatever ...
1755  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lost 3.2 btc on satoshimines :( on: June 21, 2015, 05:19:53 PM
hi guys  i lost 3.2 btc today on staoshi mines now i need suggestion how to cool down and save the remaining money.

Actually, you are looking at this wrong.

You are LUCKY to have won those btc in the first place. And you are LUCKY not to have lost it all in the end.

Once you come to that realization, you are in better position to plot your strategy going forward.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinPoker.gg - High Stakes. High Rewards - Secure Bitcoin Poker on: June 21, 2015, 05:11:49 PM
cool, let's see if you can revive your dead poker site;
for whatever it's worth, i will use any chance to play and win the game,
leaving you penniless - that's what you good for and deserve in full!

Dude, cmon you got caught creating multiple accounts and if you don't like the site feel free to leave and move on into another poker site.. no point crying in here..

I don't think anyone would mind if he actually started to play the rake games (risking his own funds) instead of just abusing freerolls.

I'd say, let him play.

He is among the very very worst players I've played against. I think two things occur simultaneously. Mentally weak players grow frustrated at their constant losses and desperately run multiple accounts in order to try and 'level the playing field', lol. Second, running multiple accounts makes these players lazy, so they play these accounts even worse than the one they started with. Moonf*ck is pathetic, and pathetic on multiple levels.

Bitcoinpoker.gg is a decent site. I (almost) never had problems with the software, the layout is clean and straightforward. The basic issue is that there are too many start-up btc poker sites for the very limited pool of players. It is that simple.
1757  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Coinut.com - The only Bitcoin Options Exchange on: June 17, 2015, 10:31:30 PM
The vanilla option margin problem should have been fixed.

What changes did you make?

Lol ...

It's a surprise!
1758  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: luckyflop.eu appears to be rigged on: June 17, 2015, 04:34:41 PM
I have been playing the web-based interface at luckyflop.eu for the past month, and I have found the following facts that make it appear that the site is rigged:
1. jorjito25 and Bitkiller play literally 24 hours a day.
2. 99% of the time, they are the only users there (even though the luckyflop.eu homepage always claims there are more than 70 players online).
3. When I join a table that either user is at, the other user immediately joins.
4. When I sit out, both users immediately leave the table. Therefore, they NEVER play against each other.

Don't these facts seem rather suspicious?

Ahhhh LUCKYFISH ...

I've played against both of these guys, separately and together. They play differently, and both reasonably skilled. Both will buff and call you down with what they think is a good draw. I DO NOT think they collude. I've found the best players don't pull silly sh*t like that. These guys don't have to. They are both just looking for action. When you sit down with one, the other may (or may not) also sit in, because your table likely offers the only action at that particular moment. They are both collecting Luckypoints so they want in on lots of hands ...

Fifty percent of poker is picking the right table, the right opponent. These guys are playing better than you FISH, tread with caution ...
1759  Economy / Gambling / Re: TurnTrips.poker **** Official Thread **** on: June 17, 2015, 05:13:12 AM
Your freeroll this evening was raped by a known multi-accounter, goes by these names:

moonbind
droneprobe
atthegame

These other names looked suspect as well:

guramina
sasquwatch
service

For background on this guy, see the last several posts in the bitcoinpoker.gg thread.

Guys- you gotta police this sh*t or there is no point in running tournaments.

Edit: Yeah, the Ass Clown took both 1st and 2nd place. So much for that ... (I wasn't playing.)

Yeah...

Robocop

I didn't play, I forgot...

Who is calling me a bot?

LUCKYFISH called u a bot after you took many chips from him, lol. He was steaming. Based on what he said it sounds like maybe you beat him in a big pot with strt flush over his Ace-high flush. Lol ...

That is not very nice Jorjito ...
