1801  Economy / Gambling / Re: INVEST in house or open YOUR OWN CASINO games - Pocket Rockets Casino on: January 29, 2014, 07:19:30 PM
Today I am going to work on merging all house investments into one larger house bankroll that is used across all house games instead of each table having it's own bankroll.

This will make the interface easier to use and faster to see what is going on. Also it means a larger max bet on all house games.

Users own tables will still have their own bankroll.
Got 0.6 BTC invested now Smiley got it all on Black Jack table 501 now: https://pocketrocketscasino.com/play?table=501 but will be easy if its across all house tables Smiley

You can change the color with "edit account" on the website. You need 500 krill for that (just FYI - with Daring you obviously have that.) There are some special avatars for site pro's and people who won an avatar in previous special tourneys (don't run any more.)

Did you email support@sealswithclubs.eu with all the info ? Better not give any info here so you can verify it privately with them.
1805  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 24, 2014, 01:41:45 PM
Estimations, especially with problems like this, can be difficult to make. Better have a good solution then going back online while all games crash and people complain.

I got decent bankroll there, not concerned -at all-. The transactions you ppl see are most likely "normal" transactions to cold wallets (which is a good security feature fyi.) Also if it takes a few days to get your money of a poker site ("for once"), it's still considered quick at the "traditional" online poker sites. I think manual withdrawals are difficult and time consuming so I can't blame them for at least waiting bit longer for that.

If anyone really "need" his money "NOW", my advice would be to not put it all on a poker website next time.
1806  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 03:43:38 PM
The no updates, and the moving of my btc in my account is what's worrying me.  They haven't transferred any of my btc out of my wallet without my personal request since I started playing here.  Why now?
I don't really know how their depo/withdrawal system works. But I assume that your deposit address is not actually your balance on Seals. I assume they move the bitcoins from most deposit addresses to their "protected cold wallets" from time to time. I assume that the transaction you are seeing is a transaction to one of their cold wallets. And I assume that you have nothing to worry about Wink
1807  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 03:32:12 PM
Mm ok, but they did manage to protect SpamHaus against that 100-300Gbps DDoS attack ? Perhaps they are not good against the "average DDoS attack", if there is something like that :p

Anyway, what I especially meant, is that I think that Seals doesn't really use them since their IP is open in public.

edit: actually I think CloudFlare is even just focused on HTTP(S) traffic, so wouldn't be used for pokerserver traffic anyway.
1808  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 03:24:08 PM
But I really would hope they are creating a good method them self for this attack or at least using a higher level up company vs CloudFlare.

CloudFlare is useful for baby attacks and other stuff, but it seems they are being hit very hard.
Per definition CloudFlare is very good against DDoS attacks, IMO. They have migrated very big attacks ( http://blog.cloudflare.com/the-ddos-that-almost-broke-the-internet )

It's just that I think Seals doesn't really use them for DDoS protection. The IP server of the Seals poker server is open in public used in the clients, so no need to DDoS cloudflare, they would just DDoS the Seals server directly. If they would 100% use CloudFlare's 200$ a month extra DDoS protection, I think that would help.

Then again, I am not expert on server level :p I just use the Free cloudflare service for simple first level protection against spam bots and caching images on my sites :p (these sites do not really need DDoS protection anyway)
1809  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 23, 2014, 02:48:25 PM
At least lobby chat is still online, in this topic Cheesy

On serious note: if they are actually developing something against the DDoS attacks then I guess it can take a while (like now.) Then again, as a webdeveloper, I would think they "just" need a good hosting/DDoS protection service for it (I am not expert on server-level tho.)

Even backup server with only a simple HTML file for a message on the website "We are working on it. Updates. blabla" would be good I think. Should be very simple and possible, yet ensuring the customers that it will be ok.

The people I meet are losing more and more trust in the Euro currency.

So, naming coins after real existing currencies can increase the interest and acceptance of people and even businesses.
mm.. :p

But seriously: I think that would be only more confusing. Eurocoin so 1 eurocoin = 1 euro? No no, it's 0.062 euro per eurocoin right now. What the..?! Why it's not 1 euro? Etc. etc. Only confusing imo. Now it's at least something separate.

Personally when I explain it I just say bitcoin = digital gold and a way to send cheaply & instantly money thru the interwebs. Like gold the value can be different from time to time. I don't even mention cryptocoins or something.

1813  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got scammed hard be aware guys! on: December 21, 2013, 10:07:38 PM
Durrrr owes me 0.05 BTC since May too. Was a quick loan on a poker site, he said he would send it to me in an hour. 7 months later and I still have nothing from him. Now he says he can send me 0.005 BTC but wtf, he owes me 0.05 and that's without interest :\ Didn't know he was actually really scamming here too.

So this story does not seem that unlikely to me. And even tho I am pretty unknown on this site, I am quite trusted and pretty well known in the BTC poker community.

edit: I found an old topic about him scamming few months ago too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=197651.0
1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So which alt coins seem legitimate/solid? on: December 10, 2013, 11:51:33 AM
DogeCoin looks very good because they use scrypt, have a lot of coins, fair dev, nice community, no premine.

(SEE WHAT I DID THERE?)

Seriously tho if there are any alts that have a significant own functionality or improvement I would be interested. So far I have not been convinced. I like the idea of Namecoin (not as the next or altenative btc but just as what Namecoin is) - but if not really adapted it seems rather useless. Will follow some more alt. topics to see if someone can convince me.
1815  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for staking deal on seals with clubs poker room on: December 07, 2013, 10:34:25 PM
Are u playing on Seals already? There is a complete staking service for Seals, see www.sealsdeals.info If u just get some bitcoin to start with, you can ask people to stake u, show ur sharkscope graphs etc, and they will stake u per tourney (so for every tourney u will list shares.) If the regular buyers like ur play/stats u might be able to get some private staking or "autobuy" you (so for every tourney that u list.) GL. More info is on that website.

1817  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.com | Free 1mBTC to try Black Jack (see first post) on: December 04, 2013, 08:23:12 AM
The last one is quite standard on casinos I've been to or played online.
It's because if dealer has Black Jack, and you don't, there's no way for you to win and so to save you from putting more money in when doubling down or splitting it ends the hand there.
Ah k cool, didn't know that Smiley
1818  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.com | Free 1mBTC to try Black Jack (see first post) on: December 03, 2013, 09:54:27 PM
So.. some feedback Smiley First of all, nicely done, works pretty good, having some fun Smiley some things:

- Timer starts even when u r not playing at the moment (when u did buy-in already.) I assume there shouldn't be a timer since ppl can do something else between the "hands"(?) - In case this is on purpose: it should reset timer at least after u bet/start again.

- It doesn't remember bet, so when I bet 0.2 it will return to 0.1 next one (I assume it should remember?)

- If the dealer has BlackJack, it shows right away that you lost? I think most casinos would let you "play" first (or better yet you could get BlackJack yourself I think?) Not sure what happened there, either bug or I have to learn the rules better lol :p
1819  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.com | Free 1mBTC to try Black Jack (see first post) on: December 03, 2013, 06:47:03 PM
Normally I prefer the edge in poker, but a free try on Black Jack would be cool Smiley

I think you are talking about this:

MagicalTux: very large sell order matching too many buy orders, causing the security system to stop the trade and rollback anything that was caused by it

I believe 7k btc really got sold so indeed $4M. But I am too lazy to look it up again :p
