1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: October 03, 2022, 07:51:06 PM
We're merely plebs, many of us. Although there are also casino whales in the forum, I believe it's the best advice for everyone, especially plebs, to play only the casino games with the lowest house edge available. BlackJack, Craps, and Roullette IF you just bet on Red or Black.

I think that doesn't change the fact that our winning chance is still by luck. Although Blackjack should be associated with a good decision, we are still playing against the house. Craps is also a difficult game that's why even though it was stated that the house edge of this game is between 0 - 16.67%, still, if luck doesn't come to us we will be doomed. Roulettes, even if we just have to bet on red or black is also a difficult game.

In conclusion, we can't really feel that these casino games really have the lowest house edge.

For me, just choose the game we are comfortable to play with.
I guess in gambling, whether you came from a high or low social status, that won’t give you a guarantee to win as gambling will always be a game of chance and luck, and that the house will always win. Even if you play in those low edge house casinos, losses will always be inevitable. But if you know how to manage your finances and you always play in an amount you can afford to lose, losing will never become a big deal on you.
1802  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: October 03, 2022, 07:27:32 PM
i am very good on this before i beat stake now i beat duelbits

Is not a thread to put them down I love this casino is much better than stake.

But the house can't beat player like me.

they have cool feature like depositing in altcoins and withdraw in bitcoin immediately

Well, it's good that you are sharing your joy and winning, but to be honest, this is not the right section to discuss this topic; you should search for a suitable area for this thread. So this post is irrelevant, and I still don't understand the purpose of creating this thread.

Some people are simply that excited when they get a win so in a way I can understand the happiness of the OP, however what I do not share is his blind optimism, because he is talking as if he made a fortune when we can see from the image that he posted that this is not the case, maybe that amount is a fortune for him and that is what he is so happy about his win, but for a casino like Duelbits that loss is absolutely nothing and they do not care at all the OP won that bet.
Maybe because OP only gets the chance to gamble occasionally and whenever he wins, that makes him very happy thinking that he’s as good as professional gamblers. Small wins may already seem a big fortune on him, and I was also like that before. But if you are a long term gambler, you will never be satisfied with this. You will always aim for higher profits that’s always why you keep chasing your luck even your losses too.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: October 03, 2022, 06:57:36 PM
You need a license to legally serve gambling products to some jurisdictions like the UK and the US.

You don't need one if you open a casino in a territory that doesn't require you to have one (I think a lot do though) and serve countries that don't need you to be licensed there in order to operate. Just search if you need one for your country.
It’s seldom to see casinos who are operating without its license. If you want the people will never doubt on the legitimacy of your casino, then you should have the license to operate so that it will be legalized and people will start trusting it. Especially for high rollers, they always go on licensed and reputable casinos because it’s where they can feel security.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 433 Winners to split $4,015,156.265 6/55 Grand Lotto Jackpot on: October 02, 2022, 10:46:02 PM
Wow, that's a lot of winners.

And the first thing that when a jackpot like this in a grand lotto is won by hundreds of people, 433 to be specific, it's all about being coordinated bets at different locations.

Like there's someone who has leaked the winning combination but I don't think that's possible if the draw itself is televised and supervised. Since it's a hot issue, sure that there will be investigators about it but if it's a real thing. Then, congrats to the winners.  Cool
Everyone was surprised about the number of winners we have at the previous lottery draw as usually, there's only 1 or 2 winners who will win the jackpot. But this time its very unusual. But i also don't think the game is rigged or someone has leaked the winning combination as the draw game is in live. Let's just say these people are just lucky enough, and we should also be happy for them so they can enjoy their winning amount.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: October 02, 2022, 09:59:55 PM
The only two localities I as a gambler would like to visit in a tourism trip are Las Vegas as the biggest one which I dream to go there and Maccau which I don't care that much even if I don't visit it one time in my life but Las Vegas is in my long term agenda to visit and why not to hit a multi million dollar jackpot there  Grin.

All other places mentioned here are not that impressive to me and do not offer the same treatment as Las Vegas offers.

I guess I was just lucky to visit those sites years ago, specially Vegas, it was really an eye opener for me. And I guess it is still a tourist destination for us. Macau is different though, if you are going to that place, then you are going to gamble, Lol.

Regarding the questions of age, if the law says that they are in legal age and if they won the lottery then, obviously the government will have to honor that and pay the player.
Las Vegas was also my dream gambling destination and I will never stop hoping that one day I’ll be able to play in there. Macau is not that really impressive for me. Well, for the minor winning in a lottery, it can be that it’s only given to him as a gift or whatsoever, so the government is still entitled to give him his winning prize. What is important is that he owns the winning ticket.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this statiscally possible in a lottery? on: October 02, 2022, 09:39:31 PM
I can't say whether this lottery or at least this particular draw is rigged or not although there have already been many talks about it. But I guess the pattern of the winning numbers is simply a coincidence. If this is indeed rigged, those who chose the winning combination should have picked random numbers. Picking a winning combination such as this would only ignite suspicion. If players doubt, they might not play anymore. That means a loss in revenue.

Another surprising thing about this is that there are 433 winners of the jackpot. Normally, there's only 1 or 2 of them. Sometimes none at all.
If this game is rigged or not, only the PCSO knows the truth. And this speculation is not new to us anymore. But most likely, since they always show transparency by having live draws, mostly these jackpot winners have only chosen their numbers randomly and they are just lucky enough to hit the winning combinations. Those 433 winners in one day might also be surprised knowing they’re too many of them who will share the jackpot prize.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses on: October 02, 2022, 09:17:41 PM
While some people are looking for children of their own, some others do not value what they have.
My assessment is that this is simply a case of irresponsible parenting and problem gambling. How do you think about this?
This is the height of it, making the innocent child suffer for her own irresponsibility. The child should be taking into government care and such a mother if found should be arrested and taking to rehabilitation. I wonder what her intention was, maybe that the child should be held by the gambling shop to repay the equivalent of the money lost in labor.
It’s clear, the woman is not already in her good thinking so she should be arrested and put into rehabilitation center. That way, if she has another child left, she won’t do the same thing making him/her as a collateral. This is not just an irresponsible parenting, but a serious gambling addiction too. And because of that, she cannot think anymore what’s right from wrong.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: October 02, 2022, 08:58:41 PM
The thing is, it's not easy to invest in these entities unless you have millions to use as a capital for investment. They'd probably focus more on the big fishes to keep on funding their platform rather than small timers like us to give them a steady stream of funding. While on paper, with these numbers included, it is a no-brainer to invest on these platforms, in practice (especially crypto gambling platforms) your investment can only last for a few months before it gets used up by the casino as a payout for their winners.
This is probably why investing in casinos is only for rich men in the country because it’s only them that they can fund sufficiently and will become sustainable after a long duration. Of course, big capital, huge returns. The reason why these big fishes continue to become richer and prosper, because there are definitely huge profits waiting for them in casinos investments. The thing which, regular investors won’t be hard to achieve because they don’t have sufficient funds for casinos investments.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: October 01, 2022, 11:24:46 PM
At the start of the implementation of the new law, I might stop gambling. Normally, the strictest phase of policy implementation is when it is newly released. So I probably would cease from gambling. But as soon as I observe among other gamblers that they are freely gambling online without the authorities even noticing them, I might also try. But if I see that those who are violating the law by moving into online gambling are penalized, I might as well stop gambling for good.
The fact that it’s now become illegal in your country and continuing gambling would bring you into jail, I guess there’s no reason to gamble anymore even if you say online gambling is not that tight. For me, better to stop early than feel sorry in the end. However, this is not the reality now when it comes to gambling. Gambling is widely accepted today and some high personalities are even engaging in gambling. Like in lottery, those who will hit the jackpot price will always be acknowledged but of course their personal identity will never be reveal.
1810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: October 01, 2022, 10:59:19 PM
Your last line was amazing and it's the reality in crypto world. If you want to earn without learning properly you may fall into a risk and lose funds. We should have much knowledge about crypto before planning to earn.

I'd even go as far into saying that it will be almost guaranteed to happen. Even if you're already well versed with the cryptocurrency markets, the risk of losing money is still quite high.
Precisely. No one gets guaranteed profits from crypto, it’s always about taking chances with high risk of losing most particularly if you never make thorough research from the start. However, even pros get the chance to lose but there’s always an advantage if you are more knowledgeable and skilled in the crypto market since you can maximize your gains and lessen the risk of losing.
1811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 01, 2022, 09:59:15 PM
Hi guys I think I might have heart Attack cause when I buy Bitcoin it goes to lows and when I sell Bitcoin it goes higher and today I sold my all Bitcoin earnings that were 200 dollars and than. BITCOIN starting pumping very hard and that was very very annoying to me. What should I do about this?
Bitcoin is for long term investment so you have to be very patient whenever you see price decline, as it’s not going to stay happening all the time. If I were you, since bitcoin price changes affects you so much, then never  do price check most often so you will have peace of mind. And do not think of short term selling for small profits, always prefer long term hodling and only sell it when bitcoin hits its new all time high. That way, you will never be paranoid and prone to heart attack.
1812  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 01, 2022, 09:41:06 PM
The bitcoin price prediction for October will continue, but no one will know whether it will be a sharp downward trend or a sharp increase because we have already seen how the market moves so far. Maybe the price range is still in the $18k-$20k, as @Kemarit said but we can expect a reversal from October.

And although there will be a lot of news like this month, I hope it will not affect the price of bitcoin too much and can still stay in the above price range or even give bitcoin a chance to start rising in the last 3 months of the year.
Even if bitcoin price only shows a slight increase, I still have high hopes that within this last quarter of the year, bitcoin will surprise us with a sudden price increase. And once accompanied with possible positive news in the market, the increase will be sustainable. However, this is just my thought, but who knows, history has still a big part in bitcoin so once history repeats, we will start seeing the bullish side of bitcoin.
1813  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education seems to have failed in some developing country on: October 01, 2022, 09:20:07 PM
People always associate success with good education, many millionaires who are not high school, this can be enthusiastic for those of us who do not have higher education to succeed, the key to success is not just education and according to education experts are 10% requirements for success, attitudes and Positive thoughts viewing conditions are the ultimate factor for success.
Education does not guarantee life’s future success, but having good education in your previous years will help you easier to find decent jobs that gives good compensation. However, in cases that educated people do not succeed, because they tend to become lazy and never take the opportunities and chances that they have gained through having formal education. That way, success will be very hard to achieve.
1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More reasons why it will always be Bitcoin for me on: September 30, 2022, 09:59:18 PM
Be your own bank. That's what Bitcoin offer to everyone. But because people wants convenience, the banks are useful for online transaction thru their app.

The banks today will start to act like they are worrying whether you are going to pay the kidnappers upon trying to withdraw $50K. You are perfectly fine and all your family but they may hold it for a bit. You will have to answer a lot of questions and will just give you $10K in the end. This is what happen to a friend recently.
The freedom to be with our own bank is what I think bitcoin’s irresistible offer for all of us. Thus, we can save and withdraw them anytime we want, and can even grow them through investing in bitcoin. While for fiat and centralized banks, they are established and founded with greed, so our own good and convenience is not their priority but only their own progress. That is why if you have understood about bitcoin, you will never trust those banks anymore.
1815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don’t Always Flaunt Your Wealth And Wallet Online on: September 30, 2022, 09:39:29 PM
This is some worst case scenario for being less private on our financial status. But of the people that I saw this kind of show off post on social are those influencers and people involved networking that using there wealth to attract people to invest or support them. I only have few friends that do posting of luxury items on social media and most of them has some investment to offer to whoever will be interested to the items that they post online.

It’s not bad to become proud of your possession but we just need to make sure that the only person that see it are those we trust the most and not on public.
Rather than assuring that only those close and trusted people can see our posts, I think it’s a much wiser idea not to show off and brag whatever luxury life we have. Because you really don’t know if your friends will see your posts as somewhat bragging or boastful, and for that they might resort into thinking doing bad to teach you a lesson. Let’s just keep our riches privately, that way we can avoid people from envy and from doing harm to us.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 30, 2022, 09:10:16 PM
Title.

Hi all.

Just wanted everyone's thoughts on how easy it is to get bitcoin now, and what getting bitcoin might be like in the future? For example, I can simply go on cashapp and buy btc, send to a wallet I own the keys to. I can also use localbitcoins, paxful, I mean the list is kinda endless. Will that list become...not so endless in the future as the value gets higher?
If there will be much demand from the people that will cause higher price for bitcoin, so maybe it’s good to see that global adoption will be realize soon. And when that happens, buying bitcoin anytime and anywhere will be so much easier and accessible. The only way it gets harder to find and purchase bitcoin is when the whole world will start banning it and prohibit the exchanges not to buy and sell bitcoin anymore.
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do you sell your Bitcoin forever, OR wait to buy back later ??? on: September 29, 2022, 09:57:20 PM
Never sell is the most bullshit thing I heard from crypto people because most of them that spouting that nonsense are those who just want quick profit and they are using that word for shilling purposes. We are all buying Bitcoin to invest and earn in the future so no one in the right mind who will not sell there holdings if they already have a good profit. They should just throwaway there private key if they really want to not sell.  Cheesy

The best way to do is to read the trend in longer time frame. Buy when there’s an obvious bear trend in longer time frame and vice versa. Don’t trade using short time frame because you will be just confused and panic to the price swings of Bitcoin.
Maybe never sell for now or with the given price from OP, but in the long run once bitcoin will create a bullish price breakthrough, everyone will be encourage to sell because that would bring obvious huge profits. For now, I still see myself wanting to hold more of my bitcoin as the price is still not impressive to sell, and accumulate more bitcoin whenever there are opportunities to buy again.
1818  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Your Own Research - What Does it really mean on: September 29, 2022, 08:10:30 PM
A research can't be done outside it's main domain which is it's community. To get the best of any project at all it takes active participation, question and contributions that way you can tell if a project has the tendency to last on a long term goal
I tend to agree with this, you can't conclude that it's a potential project a first glance.  It should be always best if you will engage closely with them and watch closely their activity before you will decide for yourself and rate them by your own perception based on your DYOR.

DYOR isn't not just reading the all documents of the project like reading the Whitepaper, Roadmap or etc.  It's all about engaging them, joining the community, find the real utility which is you can determine them as a good and potential ones.
It’s more on experience that will really help you to pinpoint which one is good and has high potentials and which one is not. The reason why most investors only put a small amount of money for initial investment, so that if they lose, it will be an amount they can afford to lose. DYOR alone is not enough, you have to engage and experience how the project moves, even if it means losing in your first attempt.
1819  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 28, 2022, 11:58:48 PM
Businesses in poor countries tend to face greater challenges and obstacles than those in developed countries. This includes factors such as a lack of access to capital, limited infrastructure, corruption, and a lack of skilled workers. As a result, businesses in poor countries often have a lower success rate than those in developed countries.
I see as a major difficult in developing countries the fact people don't have much money to spare, so you as a business owner have a very limited customers' base to acquire your services and products. People are too worried about survival that they will only have access to basic goods and in a limited scale. Furthermore, even though there aren't customers for everyone, the concurrency is the same or even more expressive than in developed countries. There are too many sellers for too few buyers. This situation has a very negative impact on individual businessmen and many consequently have to close the doors at some point.
This is the reason why as a business owner, you should always search for the best outlet where to build your business, otherwise your business won't work not only because of few customers, but also the products you are selling are not the ones they mostly wanted. In search for the demands of the customers, you should have a thorough research first and start a survey because that will determine the success of your business.
1820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Suppose Bitcoin Price start to rise in 6 week to $30,000 -will you buy or sell ? on: September 28, 2022, 11:00:16 PM
If an invisible Elites decides to buy $24 billion dollars worth of Bitcoin and Bitcoin price rise to $30 k or $40 k , how many people do you think will buy more Bitcoin? Or how many people will sell to cash quick thinking in 6 months times Bitcoin price will fall bellow $10k ?
That's beyond speculation & prediction, $30-40k Bitcoin users expect, but not now, maybe 1-2 years in the future, surely a lot of people will sell if what you say happens in the next six months, but speculation & prediction experts for Bitcoin in a short time don't show their clock hands in six months it can happen for Bitcoin to go up to that price point, that's illusory thinking.

I've read someone who has an accurate analysis every time there is a change to Bitcoin, I always follow what he says, for now it's precise and accurate, he says Bitcoin will end this year and enter 2023, down beyond the forecast that has been circulating in the media and the internet, so I believe Bitcoin for the next six months is no illusion, optimistic to buy not to sell.
You're right mate, seeing bitcoin with its new ATH after six months might be hard to turned in reality since the market is more bearish at the moment and i guess the price downtrend might even become worser months from now. So this is more of an opportunity to buy than to sell, and i will only sell my bitcoin if the market is certainly bullish, and not on a bull trap.
