1821  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: September 26, 2022, 07:59:08 PM
What a lucky day for you, Op. Not everyone could have fun and win a lot in gambling at the same time. Some gamblers have a long struggle before winning in gambling but you just hit a good prize unexpectedly and out of boredom. Not everyone could be that lucky and I would like to remind you that it will not happen consistently. There will still be times when you will encounter losses so you should also learn how to handle your winnings well next time. I know that you only want to enjoy but also, be sure to save for the future while you're young and manage your finances right.
I must say that you’re indeed lucky that time. But the way you spend your profits will make you a beggar in the future. You should have save more as gambling is not all about being lucky and winning all the time, sometimes you will also endure losses and failures in gambling. So never spend like a one day millionaire, as gambling never guarantee profits every time you gamble.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 26, 2022, 07:40:26 PM

~

if this is not created by Chinese, do you think there will be more hype on this development?
Hype or not depends on marketing to promote this metaverse to the community, when management and developers want to provide full support by means of a very large promotion then it will become hype and have a chance to become even bigger, but if there is no good marketing strategy then this circulation of metaverse will disappear like the others.
Metaverse gained a lot of hype when people first learned about it but as time goes by, I guess people still coming back to its traditional way wherein they get more thrilled and excitement. Although metaverse keeps on advancing us, but I don’t see it’s for long term as it may be temporarily hyped and may eventually end up as nothing in the future.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 07:20:49 PM
There are a lot of sites here for a quite long time and survive for years. Sportsbet, stake, bitcasino, and many more are here for a long time now. Primedice is in the online casino business since 2013 and they are still functioning. You have to find out this casino in the Gambling section. Also, you should move the thread in the gambling discussion if you want to get more valuable answers as the place has a lot of old gamblers. Check the lower side of this topic to0 move it.
Gambling has been around for long as well as those reputable gambling sites who are still very accessible until now and are still widely played by most of the gamblers. You can check it in the gambling boards if you like. However, moving this thread into gambling discussion will create more valuable and clear insights for you as a lot of gamblers will share their own experiences from different gambling sites.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 26, 2022, 06:53:56 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.
I don’t think my students deserve my explanation. There’s no wrong in gambling as long as it’s not affecting my job and I’m not crossing lines like teaching gambling to my students. Gambling is widely known to make people entertained, and I think I’m not gambling for profits but purely for fun so there’s no reason that it will be a big issue against me. If there is any, just ignore them, I don’t have to get affected on it.
1825  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 25, 2022, 11:33:21 PM
If someone bet high amount (20k)+ on this casino and win  like 2-5x time more his money.

would the casiino pay him or find excuse not to pay and ban his account?

Any reputable casino, if it lets you bet an amount, and doesn't block it or give you a message about it, will pay you if you win. What happens is that after certain amounts you may be asked for KYC, as you have been told, which happens in almost all casinos nowadays.

So don't be surprised if they ask for it.
KYC is not bad actually since the main purpose is for security, but its always seems bad on the eyes of most gamblers because it could be a barrier to attain complete anonymity. Furthermore, if you gamble on reputable casinos, and bet a huge amount, the fact that they allow you to bet that big, then they are very capable to pay you no matter how huge your winnings is. That’s how a reputable casino is, and you as a player should also comply on their rules and KYC is one of those so you can successfully withdraw your funds.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 25, 2022, 11:01:09 PM
Card counting is not illegal, but in real life casinos people get kicked from casinos for this action, and casinos really hate people using this methods because it gives some advantage to the users.

If you don't know how card counting works you can read this explanation from fiulpro:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273810.0

Or you can watch this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjfLuM-Pqr8

Here the question is, have you ever seen a user getting banned from an online casino for card counting?

To be clear, card counting isn't a method to always win, it's just a method to have better odds.

I don't think they can ban you for this. How is they gonna know if you counted cards anyway? That's not even possible. Even if it was, they wouldn't know it so I say you will be fine. Like you said it don't make you always win and you shouldn't count on it too much. If this was making you win automatically this game wouldn't have existed at all because anybody with this ability would clear out the casino.
I guess even your opponents in gambling counted cards too, who knows? But the fact that it’s not reliable to end up winning, then casinos would not make it as a big issue and just let the players do their own counting. Maybe for some this becomes very obvious that the casino would notice, but even so, the fact that it’s part of your own strategy, then they should not be meddling on it anymore.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 25, 2022, 09:58:33 PM
Mostly we experience this kind of scenario when we are facing a huge amount of loss or tons of losing streak because there's a chance that you will make revenge gameplay and make a huge amount of bet just expecting you will make your money back from the losses at the same time but of course, it is a risk play there's a chance you will lose up more double or triple that your profit or just gain the profit back again and make a stop to play gambling, mostly we stop when we don't have enough funds that's why when playing gambling always set a limit.
We always end up gambling more than we can afford to lose because we keep chasing the losses and expect to finally win and double or triple the profits. This is the reason why we need to set a limit when we gamble to avoid too much losses that may result into financial breakdown. Gambling is not bad as long as you always gamble on your extra money and not on the finances that are used to pay for other matters.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 25, 2022, 09:40:25 PM
For those who don't know, a gacha game is a genre of video game where players pull, spin, or roll using an in-game currency to receive a random item. That item can be something that could make their characters stronger or sometimes it's just some limited skin which has no effect other than to make their characters look cooler.
It's the same as the traditional gambling games that we used to play but the reward and prize are in the form of items. So, I'd say that this is also gambling.
You're betting with in-game currency and it's an in-game way of gambling. And that item that has no effect which could be in no demand is like that you've just lost the game then since the item could have no to little value at all.
As long as you spend an amount that has no guarantee if it creates profits or not, then that mostly fall into gambling. But having this gacha game, it’s quite different since you are gambling to win for some items, and not for money or profits. Maybe the reason why only few gamblers engaged in this, aside from having the fact that only big time gamblers can afford this, this kind of game might be a little boring compared to some gambling games we always play in casinos or online sites.
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 25, 2022, 09:21:35 PM
That is why it is good not to use the amount of money you can not afford to lose to gamble. While gambling, you can lose or make profit, but gambling platforms make it in a way people are more likely to lose. I too have seen hell when I started to gamble, I lost a lot too and become addicted until I finally realized that we should not chase money with gambling, it is wrong.
Gambling do not give guaranteed profits so we should not risk our money particularly if it’s intended to pay the bills or even for emergency funds. Though it’s not bad to gamble, but make sure that you are gambling your extra money so that if you lose, your finances will never be affected. I have been into gambling addiction before, but I have never experienced as worst as this like OP experienced.
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 24, 2022, 11:31:26 PM
hello I have seen the best profits to be made are in projects like shiba inu before it became huge or currently on BSC and ETH chain on new projects.

There have been People who with the help of bnb chain even turned 50$ into 150k$ in a months time.
There is absolutely no strategy to get these sorts of windfall gains. These are just lotteries that occur when you are having a very good time. I have seen people turning 150K$ to 50$ as well, so don't go by what a few can do. Trading Strategies can just give you fancy 30-40% gains per month at most. Another way out is to gather insider information if you can somehow become a member of some pump & dump club. Apart from this, there is nothing you can do to find these coins, even studying the projects won't help because these sorts of multi-baggers are rare to find.
If you focus on trading, it will take a lot of time before you can see your expected profits particularly that the market is still in a bear season. However, if you try gambling and get lucky, you will win much more than that. Or you get the other way around, losing everything you have. So honestly, there is no strategy for quick profits, always endure some losses at first because that is probably trading starts with.
1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to keep in mind before accumulation of Bitcoin on: September 24, 2022, 10:59:27 PM
You say the accumulation phase is when the price of bitcoin is at the lowest. But how would you know that it is the lowest? The price went down as low as $35k and people thought it was the lowest. It kept on going low. So do you keep on waiting for the low?

And also, DCA investing and other stuffs would seem very complicated for new traders/investors. You don't have to do DCA or other stuffs if you are planning to invest and hold long term. Only invest what you can afford to lose. You have money lying around that you don't need. Invest and keep holding till you reach your profit goal.
DCA won’t also be advisable if you are not knowledgeable on it in the first place. Even if they say DCA is the safest way to accumulate bitcoin, but for beginners who have not experienced it doing, I guess it will just complicate things. As long as you always take advantage when bitcoin price is declining, then you have nothing to worry knowing the end part is to hold your investments for long term and sell it only when bitcoin price hits new ATH. What you should be worrying is that if you can sustain hodling them despite of the price fluctuations that is happening from time to time.
1832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips that could help crypto beginners. on: September 24, 2022, 10:00:00 PM
-snip-
however, the industry that creates the most millionaires is the cryptocurrency industry. According to a CNBC Millionaire Survey, nearly half of millennial millionaires have at least 25% of their wealth in cryptocurrency.

Almost all of them have become millionaires before investing in crypto, and this is what many newbies fool that crypto has changed millionaires' lives (and in an instant).

To me the tips of becoming a millionaire in crypto are close to shady schemes, I will certainly put suspicion on the first attention. Out of your 3 tips, this is general investment advice that very rarely leads to millions of dollars in profits.
No one gets rich instantly in crypto, but if you invest initially half of your wealth, then you will reap millions of profits in just a month or a year. This is mostly the result if you are a big time investor. But for regular investors, never expect that the same thing will happen as it may only end up believing bitcoin or crypto as a quick rich scheme. One thing is certain is that, you will endure a lot of losses first before you consider yourself becoming rich in crypto.
1833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can all (or most) cryptocurrencies rise and fall at the same time? on: September 24, 2022, 09:46:19 PM
The price and, ultimately, the charts on any given exchange are determined by the price of the most recent transaction. How can the prices of 100s of cryptos all move in the same direction at the same time?
As Bitcoin is the highest market capitalization among all the cryptocurrencies we have right now than most of them I believe are just following Bitcoin.
So for me, especially when I am doing trading I rather trade Bitcoin than trading other altcoins especially other high market capitalization altcoins which just correlate with the price of Bitcoin most of the time, so for me, it's just the same, volume on Bitcoin is higher.
It is because bitcoin’s price influences the whole crypto market. So if ever you trade with altcoins, there are high chances that you will fail in trading as bitcoin suddenly dump its price and affects most of the altcoins. That is why most of us would want to prioritize bitcoin trading not only because of its higher volume, but the amount of returns is obviously bigger than trading with altcoins.
1834  Economy / Economics / Re: "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" - A reminder why this is so important! on: September 24, 2022, 09:25:42 PM
This type of story always makes me laugh. She literally had to "rob" the bank to get her own money, and like she could have asked for more, she could have asked for everyone’s money, the bank was probably willing after seeing her with the gun, and that means she purposely didn't want anyone’s money, she just wanted her own money and that is a wonderful thing.

I know that we shouldn't glorize these type of gun related stuff, it is traumatizing to so many people who were in the bank that day, and the teller has no say in this, banks decide this and the one you point the gun to is a teller, not the bank CEO, but still, getting out with only her money is a good move.
This story is kind of joke but totally regretting to know that we become the victim of our own money because of some bank’s dirty manipulation. The woman might be so depressed already that she never think anymore the consequence of her own actions. Hopefully, this will give a lesson to everyone that not all banks can be trusted. Unlike with bitcoin, we can be on our own bank as long as we always keep the private keys completely safe.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A meme coin called baby doge worth this risk? on: September 23, 2022, 09:50:39 PM
Then, have you even think what you can do this Baby Doge? Does it give you profit every day?
Don't say that it gives you profit because if that really happens, in that number, that was a huge amount of money. But guess what, it was just a number, I also receive millions of tokens for a certain project but never have the chance to sell them and make money from it. It is actually a waste of time mining shitcoins. You'd rather open your eyes and see the reality. I'm not accusing this project is a scam but my mind telling me to stay away from this project.
Do not let yourself a victim of another shitcoin that will only be hyped in the beginning and end up losing its value in the market. Just like dogecoin, a lot made profits in the start but eventually as the time goes, dogecoin loses its hype and so its value, and most likely those who made profits in the start are already experiencing losses by now. I suggest you avoid this project as much as possible and just learn to invest in other established altcoins instead.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 23, 2022, 09:30:23 PM
But over time, my mindset changed and my trading strategy changed so I can say I'm ready for any consequences. This is not really available to users who are just learning to trade and invest, but the experience of a failure has taught us to have a good knowledge of self-control. Not by borrowing money for trading, it can increase the risk of failure in the end.
As time goes by, the newbies would have to bear with what they're dealing with and it's going to be an enjoying journey for them. They're already in and they have to keep going, that's what their mindsets will be. No backing out anymore because they're already in.
Some newbies may quit along with their journeys but for the new ones that have seen the greatness of the market and the bumpy ride, this would be easy for them as soon as they've understood how the market goes and how they can profit from it.
The most important thing in crypto is that you learn to understand the market and become at ease investing and trading in it. That way, you will gain more opportunities to make profits after an inevitable losses at first. Also, patience will have a very important role in crypto. If you can't be patient during the price downtrend, then it will be very hard for you to expect decent profits in the future.
1837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning From Trading Without Any Professional Knowledge on: September 22, 2022, 09:58:23 PM
I do want to know if it's possible for a starter to gainfully earn from Crypto trading without having to go through a professional training.
Is is possible to earn money from trading without having professional training . but you must have basic knowledge about trading . there are huge free Online video course on YouTube and article on many website available . you can learn many critical point from there . but always keep your mind you must do your own research before investing on crypto otherwise you will not able to gain profit every time
Professional training is not really very essential if you aim to be profitable in trading. There are a lot of ways on how you can improve your trading skills, and you can start it through watching free video tutorials in youtube so you can gained a lot of techniques and strategies. Also, you can make a lot of trading experiences if you want because the best teacher will always be your own experience. Do not fear of initial losses, as they are part of your training, and all your mistakes in your experience will always create good motivation and encouragement to exert more efforts in trading.
1838  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can we expect from this statement of Michal Slayer.. on: September 22, 2022, 09:36:57 PM
Recently i came across this post Michael Saylor says Bitcoin could return to $68,000 within 4 years and hit $500,000 in the next decade..
$68K can be reached anytime from now on we don't even have to wait halving to enjoy the climb. What is the reason, I only think about the support of institutional investors. Yes, institutional investor support will really help the bitcoin price to grow and is very bullish even though the halving hasn't happened yet.

There is huge potential for that price in the future regardless of whether it can happen this year, next year, two years down the road or after the halving. But this is only a possibility even though the optimism from bitcoin's history can help anyone survive longer.
I guess 4 years is already long enough to expect a $68k price for bitcoin. It may even be possible by next year once the bear market is over and bullish season will start to enter. With positive news that are expecting to hit the market that will create a huge impact on the price of bitcoin, that way bitcoin will easily touch $68k even before halving happens.
1839  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 19, 2022, 08:53:41 PM
Conclusion
Crypto business is meant only for patient people with strong heart who are not too greedy and are always ready to learn.
This is a good point, the crypto world indeed some people think it's easy and simple, especially the investment part buy, hold and finish, in fact it's not.

In making crypto investments, not only buying, strategies, anti-manipulating the market, types of crypto options, negative and positive issues, price considerations, some basic crypto investment science is highly recommended to learn, If you make the wrong choice and make an investment, you may never get the expected profit.

On the other hand as you conclude right, it means patience.
Preferably, its all about patience and persistency in the end. And not all investors have these long lasting qualities, the reason why a lot have started to invest in crypto but only few have survived and become consistent in crypto. Some may think that knowledge and skills are already advantages in crypto, but after being hit by inevitable losses, it’s all about patience at the end of the day.
1840  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 19, 2022, 08:34:25 PM
Those are the perfect timing for them and we can all have that golden opportunity so when it knocks to our door better to grad that opportunity right away. We may not experience the same thing but those stories can be a good motivation to us not to give up easily. Those successful people also came from the bottom and that is something to look for, we can have our own time just keep on working and work wisely.
Probably it is since there are still some people in their golden age manage to live their lives at its very best. Though this is not possible for some who have been experiencing serious illnesses at their old age, but for those who think that they are still capable to reach another heights in life and continue to make remarks achievements, I guess they can still be success as long as the passion and determination is there.
