1841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Britain passes the 'most extreme surveillance law ever passed in a democracy' on: November 29, 2016, 04:26:45 PM
In my country over here, I wont be bothered about such laws maybe it even exists, who knows but I asked with which infrastructure? But based on the law enacted in UK, everyday government wants to find ways to control every aspect of our lives and individuals as well go along way in making that a possibility and they will hide under the idea of security reasons to foster their ideas on the citizens but if I am not a threat to the state why should I be bothered if anyone is watching...
1842  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many times have you've been scammed? on: November 29, 2016, 01:45:35 PM
I have been scammed quite a number of times and I have regarded all as a form of lesson. Firstly was as by HYIP as I was a novice. I saw this nice site with all the promises and the likes and I was like " i could really make a cool money" but alas the dream was cut short my money went down the drain. The other one was when I wanted to exchange Bitcoin to FIAT, I was actually still a novice then too. I was scammed and because Bitcoin is irreversible, I lost my money...
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: November 29, 2016, 12:58:36 PM
It would not happen as big companies in the top 100 where using/joining to use it now like Microsoft because they saw potential on it to be a good digital currency. Unless majority of it will pursue to make it illegal then it will be ban as they can influence the government to do something to it.

Dont say it wont happen. One thing I have learned is that anything is possible. And those multi-national you are saying, they exist within the armbit of the law. If countries decide to ban Bitcoin, what they need is to sign a Charter at the level of United Nations and thats it...

Now if it is banned, then its use will only be in a more secretive way but I am sure its total ban might spell doom because alot of people will abandon which will make the price come crashing...
1844  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where could I buy medicine for Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2016, 12:46:20 PM
no legit online pharmacy will accept bitcoins so if you find one then it will be a scam or sell you fake drugs don't use it sell you bitcoins transfer the money to a bank then buy at least you now they are safe to take.

Over here, you dont even get to see online pharmacy not to talk of them accepting Bitcoin. The pharmacy market is so fragile since its on the basis of life and death. What we have here is just their website and not to buy online also the cost of bringing it to your door step could even be more if you are to buy offline. Also, the license to practice as a pharmacy store is equally limited to some profession. So I have not seen any online pharmacy neither have I seen anyone accepting Bitcoin...
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 29, 2016, 12:08:36 PM
Ethereum is bad. It'll be outdated within a year from today. Better smart contract platforms are coming.

Ethereum project can still be saved, if developers will stop being celebrity and be committed to the project, another thing I notice is that most of the founding developers have moved on to another project and result in talent drain from Ethereum found though they have money to employ good developers

That is the issue I have had about the developers, they built a project with a lot of prospects but the issue is after the launching and everybody applauded the next thing we see is abandonment either that they have made enough money and decide to cash out or the project is not bringing the envisaged dream in the short term. No support, no solidarity and thats all we get to see about the project... And we wait again for the next project...
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 29, 2016, 10:54:56 AM
Its really going to be difficult if Bitcoin will really be the currency of the future because following the recent trend in what is going on and if Bitcoin will achieve that status government regulation will be a fundamental thing in which I am not sure countries are ready for now. Also the regulation if its not possible for government to get control of this then I see them banning everything all together which will in no small way impact this goal of being the future money...
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happen with bitcoin after not mineable? on: November 29, 2016, 10:09:13 AM
Its the simplest thing. It means that the price of Bitcoin will increase because the popularity would have increased more than what we have now, which means a lot of people will be involved which means it will not be enough and the forces of demand and supply will push the price up which might not be attainable. Also there will be the risk of losing the popularity as a result of the increase and other currency might fill the space.
1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price increase attributed to rising Chinese demand for cryptocurrency on: November 29, 2016, 06:25:19 AM
For me, all the explanation for the increase in the price of Bitcoin or its decrease is most likely a part of the explanation or even a coincidence and not necessarily the absolute explanation. what if we now have a situation of low price, could we also attribute to the fact that Chinese people no longer believe in Bitcoin, thereby dumping it...
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Europe wants to ban blockchain technology? on: November 29, 2016, 06:09:39 AM
news.bitcoin.com is officially added to my news site shitlist with this new title they chose for their article because it has nothing to do with banning blockchain technology and i have seen other articles from them that were worthless click baits.

I agree with this because after going through the article in detail I must just conclude that its a means to get traffic to the site and nothing else because from the article the banning being blown out of proportion is not even an option on the and that is even the last option if they will go that route not even in 2018 that is coming. It is not a threat or a "tiiping" point to attract the attention that will necessitate that...
1850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: find satoshi? on: November 29, 2016, 05:35:38 AM
Out of my own curiosity too, I looked into him and also found out at a time he was on the forum and his title was "Founder" I was just wowed that so the name exist. But how he was able to keep himself a way from the public and no official picture of him still baffles me. Several articles and investigative journalism has been written about him but no certainty as to that... But maybe in the future he can decide to come out but still he did something for this generation...
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: November 28, 2016, 08:03:19 PM
Analysis in gambling, I dont know if its applicable when its not trading? But even if it is applicable in which I have not applied before and dont think I would, it definitely will be restricted to certain games and not the likes of dice or rolling to hit jackpot or high and lo and probably some peer to peer gambling because I am still wondering how analyisis will work in any of those scenerios I mentioned...

1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: November 26, 2016, 09:10:13 PM
I would still want to encourage the developers to consider C-cex because its kind of easy and even the hurdles of registration if lifted.  I have an account there and I have been enjoying the service so far... Also its been 10 days since ICO has started and I havent even read about the coin until now...  MORE EXPOSURE IS NEEDED....
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: November 26, 2016, 08:54:12 PM
How will that even happen? FIAT that have stayed with us since the beginning of civilisation that have developed and even to become part of us just like that? Even external reserves of countries are kept in FIAT, countries owe each other in FIAT, country's power are determined by the value of its FIAT, FIAT serve as identity of respective countries etc... then I ask how will Bitcoin just take over and replace that?
1856  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 26, 2016, 02:24:52 PM
Oh yes it does matter and even matter the most but I believe in different degrees to various individuals. For someone who is into crypto-trading who knows a little variance whether positive or otherwise would have a significant effect on all other currencies he is holding then the price is of great importance compared to a normal guy who is just around to earn some passive bucks, then I would say dosent matter much to him... But they both have something in common which is, IT MATTERS...
