1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 21, 2019, 11:44:47 AM
About Mayweather fight? I don't really expect too much maybe this time after manny won the fight he might retire this time now.

If you don't know Manny and Mayweather meet again before this happen is even a thing and I think it may come. Again, Mayweather getting out of his retirement and fighting Manny Pacquiao, fans want it, some analysts think it may come but still we don't know. All I know is that if Manny will be getting up again in the ring, it will be Floyd Mayweather he will be facing.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 21, 2019, 10:45:40 AM
Just wow. I did not imagine Pacquiao really winning, I mean I bet on him but that is just amazing. Thurman is also a great fighter, he puts a fight against Pacquiao, a rematch is in the way but I don't think that will be Thurman's but Mayweather's. Floyd is watching the fight, clapping when Manny Pacquiao is entering the ring, any comments of Floyd to Pacquiao about this fight?
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Now Stands as Favorite vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: July 20, 2019, 11:54:39 PM
Pacman no doubt became the legend boxer in his time up to the present in the entire world.
I saw how his life progress until He reached to became one of a billionaire boxer, and yet He has also have
a successful carrier in politics were He started from congressman now and one of the senators of His country.
Even his opponent is 10 years younger to Him, I think age does not matter and not a big deal. I am pretty
sure majority of the people's bet is for sure goes to Pacquiao fo course.

I definitely agree with your point, Pacman sure is a legend in boxer and he is called that for a reason, Thurman maybe young but age doesn't matter really, what matters most is the skills and strategy once they are in the ring, so it is too early to know whose gonna win but I have faith with Pacman, I just think that his gonna win this fight.

I placed my bet on Pacman but still, we don't know what might happen. Pacquiao undeniably is a great fighter, but Thurman is too and as a proof he is undefeated until now. As I said in some of my posts, this is a challenge for Pacquiao, to determine whether he will be having a rematch, another fight or just hang his gloves.

I'm seeing some sites use "sats" or "Sats" but there are no one settling to one sign or logo. If I will be choosing one, I want the logo with the two slashes on it .

It's about all the dollar will be worth in a few years. Smiley
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 20, 2019, 12:36:26 PM
Last day to place our bets with two of our favourite boxers in the world, Manny Pacquiao vs Kieth Thurman.

Odds are really favoured for manny and thurman just really getting higher and higher for his odds. All predictions bets manny to win (I hope so Grin), but thurman is not that easy to fight with because of his undefeated record. Let the greatest showman begin.

Yeah Thurman is not an easy opponent. Only if Manny has no speed then he will be defeated but with the current situation, Manny has it power and speed so betting on Manny even with this small odds is worth it than betting on Thurman.
We kept on saying that Manny has the advantage on speed and power and while it is true, the only thing that bettors are hesitant to put their bet on Manny is due to his age. To prove the doubters wrong, Manny is training hard so that he would be impressive tomorrow.

Every fight Manny faces or arranged, he trained hard with every of it. He trains hard, despite the age, despite the changes, he trains. I think that is a disrespect if you never train before the fight, right? I am excited not because we all know Manny will win but I want to watch how Manny fight after all this time.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 14, 2019, 11:58:51 PM
That's what I think about Westbrook. The team management may have made a bad idea of bringing Westbrook to Houston though. Eventhough he is a good player in his position but Houston has James Harden who we know lead the team and I don't think Westbrook will follow the lead of Harden.
It may not be a good idea but if i am in the Rocket's front office i would do the same, give this a chance as nothing had worked before this. Paul is a very good point guard but they struggle to make the finals so with this tandem, maybe some miracle will work wonder for them.

Well, Harden's doing the hogging so, the seconds of them trying to score, Harden is dribbling the ball taking it for himself. That is the reason why I Westbrook and Harden should team up, a hogger and a record-"breaker". That would be a good argument every game.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real Satoshi? on: July 14, 2019, 12:19:52 AM

This is posted in this forum, I knew this article because someone created a thread and pit this link here. This is the reason that if I will be making a vote for the hundred of people that nominated who really Satoshi Nakamoto is, it will be Paul Solotshi. Also, I don't think he is alone, there might be a lot of people including him.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 13, 2019, 11:37:08 PM
It has been a while since I heard or read anything about the former no. 1 draft pick, Anthony Bennett. He will be playing with Harden and Westbrook next season. I hope the kid can really deliver with his new team.

That is Harden though. The statement here should be, I hope that Harden let Anthony Bennett play with the ball. I mean, he's Harden. Speaking of first pick, Zion is injured? It may not be that serious but I think that can be dangerous for the team in the future games.
1870  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: July 13, 2019, 11:12:58 PM
manipulations. especially the political manipulations can easily affect on the general financial issues of weak countries. that is why they easily play with such countries and make their money more worthless.

Reading your post I remembered Japan since my friend told me that they kept on printing their money the reason the value of their yen go down. I don't know if that is true but when I checked the price at that time, I can visit Japan with a small pocket money like 2000 pesos or like $40. But right now, the price is higher and that 2000 pesos will never be enough.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Justin Bieber VS Steve-O - UFC Fight on: July 13, 2019, 12:17:05 PM
Anyway, please do update us if there will be a fight schedule if the both parties agrees to fight.

I read the news every day on TMZ and looks like Justin is only ignoring steve-o, but if I see some news for sure I will update the thread, I think the chance to see this fight goes real is if Dana White calls Justin, maybe after talking about money this could become a true celebrity dead match  Grin

Wow, I really like your spirit in believing that this would be push through.

Me,  whatever the outcome is, I would just be happy that Justin as a singer is trying to get out of his comfort zone.  Grin
Well if Justin really wants to go out of his comfort zone and go into the ring better he don’t use media just to get attention instead he will go to proper forum in which will assigned him to fight either Pro or Non-Pro because what he did for Tom Cruise even that he says it’s just a joke yet it gathers big impact from the people and some take it seriously while others not

Well, that is how people get attention and get into trending news. I don't mind the post about Tom Cruise because I know the first time I saw that it will never be true but when Steve-O told that he is disappointed that he is not even in the options, I would love him fight Justin. It is Steve-O man, he did a lot of things that we would never even think to do. He is a fun guy, I like him, no homo so if Justin or maybe some people that close to him read this, tell him to fight him, it would create another trending games or challenges for celebs. I also like the bottle cap challenge especially Steve-Os, which is so hilarious.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: July 13, 2019, 10:39:18 AM
Desperate need of money makes most people addicted to gambling. They don't earn enough and they see gambling as a way to provide it. When they lose they can't accept the reality and try to recover it.
Losing is what makes people to be addicted to gambling and to other winning. If you ever win big money in gambling you will desire to win and have big money in your hand and as such you will wish to keep winning and that will make you keep playing. To other losing is the major reason why they keep playing gambling and as such, I think, we have reasons individually why we are gambling.

Who would be addicted to losing? It is obvious for people to lose in gambling but you saying it is the reason why they are addicted to gambling? I think tht is not the reason but that is close, they are wanting to earn more money, they want to win always and they are experiencing that less than losing. They want to win but they are losing, that is the mix of being over-confident and being greedy.
1873  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: July 12, 2019, 11:54:50 PM
Bitcoin is not like immigrating, you are using a crypto currency and being introduced to financial freedom. You don't need to follow cultures or traditions, you just go with your own methods or wants. We don't have the government, we don't have leaders but we all have that people who can affect the price of it in their own profit.
1874  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: July 12, 2019, 11:18:26 PM
Everything has risks. It is up to us if we are prepared to face it. There are many risk when you invested in cryptocurrencies because market is very volatile. If we know well what we get into we can minimize those risks. I invested in crypto because I'm more thinking that it will have a great value in the future mostly bitcoin.

the risk is always there in each of our trips, and that risk can never be avoided if we have done something very risky. actually an event has a risk. because so that we can be confident and dare to move forward, and say that the risk is not dangerous for me.
Actually the amount of risk in cryptocurrency depends on each individual user, if they have no knowledge in crypto and do not have skills in crypto trading then the risk is certainly much greater, the reward you will earn will be even greater if your skills are higher Smiley

Even if you have the knowledge about it, there is still the risk. Volatility is a risk too and that is the reason some people don't want anything to do with it. But as we all say, the higher the risk, the bigger the rewards. People risk their money with the hope of earning huge profit out of it, but as you've said, without knowledge and usually skill, they can lose their money.
1875  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mark Yusko: Bitcoin can go up to $ 30,000 without correction on: July 11, 2019, 11:53:48 PM
What's your take on this?

Let the man talk and waste his time there since the only thing I believe in is the price chart. There are a lot of people that says, "bitcoin will go up!", "bitcoin will be having a price of xx,xxx this year", instead of taking those words seriously just look at the price charts. There are a lot of patterns you can look at there and just base your investments there.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: July 11, 2019, 11:42:13 PM
I checked the stats of Keith Thurman and what surprises me is that aside from his last fight last January 26, 2019 and he won against Josesito Lopez through Majority Decision, his last fight before that was March 04, 2017 and he won via split decision. That means he was away for 1 year, 10 months and 23 days, he may have won on his last fight and yet odds still favor him, compared to Manny who didnt miss a year fighting regardless of the outcome if its win or lose.

I think the confidence of Thurman let the people think that Thurman has the upper hand, he is the underdog but I don't think the odds should be against Manny Pacquiao. 9 days before the fight, I think there is a chance that it will still change. Considering the fact that he's out for that long, it may be great to rest but in Boxing, that can ruin your career.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: July 11, 2019, 11:20:55 PM

This is like saying that people who lost everything in trading go into crime...I doubt this is the case.
Gambling owners can make the gambling environment decent and crime free if they want to. Some are probably encouraging that kind of environment to attract more gamblers.

Crime can be a side effect of gambling habits and can be done outside the gambling environment. Even though casino owners can make a decent and crime-free gambling environment, it's only a view from one angle. Because bad gamblers can commit crimes in other environments and bring the money into the casino.

This is where the "dirty money" comes from. It is said that the money you've earned from gambling is dirty money and that money usually do not last and will also be used quickly or gambled. The recent incident of crime in our country because of gambling happened in Resorts World Manila in 2017 where a gunman set the tables on fire and caused a stampede. I can't forget that.
1878  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: July 11, 2019, 02:36:38 PM
depend on what get damage , but i think the most damaged is infrastructure and cz of that it will decrease the bitcoin price because what people need is physical thing not digital

Why would even people think about it if that happens? The damage might be minimal or not, the value of bitcoin will obviously go down. It will plummet down since most of the people will not be visiting their investment for a while, most of them would be selling some of their btcs since they would need the money. That would be bad for cryptos.
1879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Warren Buffett hate bitcoin? on: July 11, 2019, 11:39:39 AM
Sorry, but I do not believe that such a well-known businessman does not really believe in cryptocurrency. Most likely this is hype on the part of Warren. But in fact, he probably has a whole Department that already earns on cryptocurrency.

He has his reasons and I know a lot of people do too. Not everyone are to decentralized and irreversible crypto currencies. Another thing is that I think He is one of those old guys that believes bitcoin is just a plan in disguise. It is a way for this people to earn money. Well, a lot of old people will thinking that way especially the ones in the government.
1880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 07, 2019, 11:05:45 PM
There are rumors that Russell Westbrook is heading to the Houston Rockets and seeing the situation I would say it's possible to happen. Like Westbrook and Paul George Chris Paul and Harden does not have the best of relationship after the season as ended and I could see that one of them (most likely Paul) would be traded away as the main centerpiece of the trade in exchange for Westbrook. This might not be the only power change we will see in the West and Houston might be another improved contender for the Championship.
Huh really? that is going to be one of the worst decision of Westbrook if he opted to go to Houston. Him and James Harden can't co-exist, two ball hog players, who just love to boost their statistics for personal reason, nah I doubt it will happen. We have seen CP3 and Harden clash, it will be much worst when Westbrook and Harden, more drama in the locker room for sure.

I don't even know if this two are aiming for the finals. Statistics can boost their advertisement to other teams, they will be forever in the NBA records but how about their team? I am so annoyed on how Westbrook play, and wehn someone pointed out that Harden is also like this I was pissed. Jeremy Lin has his championship, while these two is still playing for their records.
