We never said that we won't be accountable for delays. According to your terms of sale, you won't be accountable for delays We did say that we'll deliver on time and on spec. We wouldn't have taken pre-orders if we had any doubts about our ability to deliver. Your terms of sale instruct us not to rely on these statements. Delivery dates communicated or acknowledged by Spondoolies in the Order Confirmation are approximate only, and are dependent upon supply chain interruptions and stoppages, development delays, and other factors. Therefore, Purchaser shall not rely upon, and Spondoolies shall not be liable under whatsoever circumstances for any other estimation statement of expectation when delivery will occur. link Already discussed, repeatedly, in our thread.

Maybe paypal or wire option? I'm in fiat.
Are you referring to 0.1 BTC participation token ? If this is the case, we'll submit 0.1 BTC on your behalf. You'll need to pay additional 0.1 BTC value when we'll collect the payment. If you're referring to the payment itself, it can be with wire transfer. Please close the details with RoadStress through the PM.

Not sure this was asked and answered and my apologies in advance if it was... what if the people pledging do not pay spondoolies for the units? Fore example if 255 units are pledged before the deadline but only 240 are actually paid for do we all still get the 250 unit volume pricing?
+1 I also think like you and Spondoolies can give some if...else for this situation asap. Good one. We trust the people will honour their pledge. We'll start collecting after reaching the 250 mark. We'll start collecting according to the deal RoadStress negotiated, e.g. the discounted pricing. If people won't honour the pledge, we won't ask for the higher price. However ,we will be disappointed. You trust us with your pre-order. We want to trust you to honour the deal.

Spondoolies, did you say something earlier in the thread about running the SP10 at above 35 degrees ambient (spec limit)?
It's per safety requirement. We did test at a much higher temperature of course: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg5938665#msg5938665The recommended ambient temperature is 20C You'll get better results with colder ambient temprature

From the OP: Waiting for your Neptune refund? Secure your place now by sending the reservation fee and pay only 3000$ per unit when required and pay the rest after you get your refund. You will need to have proof of asking refund. That will be mandatory!

while im tempted, i cant ignore the aggressive push for sales and the defensive nature of some of the responses to legitimate concerns.
along with the august delivery date, 'promises' of ROI & the classic, 'do your own research because we wont be held accountable for delays' etc make it quite the scary propsition.
"The aggressive push for sales" was explained at some length, for example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg6293879#msg6293879We're directing wandering customers to the group buy: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/news/13780541-special-easter-passover-discount-on-sp30-group-purchaseWe don't guarantee or promise ROI. We do believe it's a terrific deal with very good chance for an excellent ROI. We can't predict the hash-rate. We can't predict BTC value. We never said that we won't be accountable for delays. We did say that we'll deliver on time and on spec. We wouldn't have taken pre-orders if we had any doubts about our ability to deliver. We won't take pre-orders for our 3rd gen which is an higher risk.

@Spondoolies-Tech, I realize I'm a little late, but would you like an additional review from a trusted community member? (I do escrows, and I help run a local exchange.)
We don't have miners left from April batch. Really. Only 6 for development and BD purposes. Anyway, we're covered regarding reviews. Thank you for your offer

We'll improve our web site. We're using Shopify e-commerce platform and it has it's limitation. You friend can contact sales@spondoolies-tech.com and we'll create a custom order and BitPay link for him/her. Thanks for your quick reply ... however, does this mean that once a product is ordered, a purchaser has no way of tracking its status? He can always email us. info@, sales@ or support@ He does get email confirmations, etc So, we did a bit of research. We'll enable user accounts at Shopify soon. We've enabled user accounts in our web store. It's optional. You can always email us, info@, sales@ or support@

The SP30s can't be run at home without modification to the electrical system right? I have a 110V system now. What changes would i have to get an electrician to make that would allow me to run 1-4 of these babies at home?
Hoping to get some input from Spondoolies-Tech or knowledgeable members.
Thanks.
You can run them on 110V, they'll produce a bit less hash-rate. Probably around 5.1 TH/s Hosting is another option.

Already posted in our thread, posting it here again: We're happy to announce that we've secured a deal with a high quality data center in Central WA for ultra cheap long term hosting. US bundles customers (50 units or more, SP10 or SP30) are invited to contact us at sales@spondoolies-tech.com for details Someone needs to organize a group deal for this so the smaller miners can take advantage of this ultra cheap hosting also. I'd love to get in on this. Spondoolies really needs to make a smaller/cheaper miner. If their next gen chip is 187gh/s why not make a miner with one or two chips? We have limited resources. If someone wants to do it, we'll gladly sales ASICs cheaply. Edit: Also, the price per GH/s will be higher for smaller solution. We do recognize that S1 like dirty cheap solution is effective. Problematic with bigger ASICs

no computers are duty free to the usa.
I think it may depend on where they're coming from. That's why I'm asking. It would surprise me if imports of this type of equipment from Israel were subject to an import duty, but you never know. We didn't have any issue with any US customer and VAT

Interesting news on the group buy and GREAT news on the improved shipping costs... @Spondoolies-Tech -- are you simply trying to shift risk to Roadstress? Why buy direct at $11,995 when I can (potentially) at $4995 from the group buy?Sadly they were not as aggressive on a bulk SP10 proposal We're not trying to shift any risk. We're fully supporting RoadStress buy group effort. OK, and kudos for the distributing the hash rate mantra, but to the latter question... Will you answer that one for me please? We like group buys, they help to distribute the hash-rate. We do offer modest bulk sales discounts, as you well know. to the bulk discounts -- But still didn't answer the question... It appears you have shifted from retail to wholesale and perhaps looking for "authorized distributors"? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575499.msg6279344#msg6279344Any wandering customer buying one SP30 will get directed to the Easter Group buy of course. Excellent of Guy to answer! Added blog post to prevent mistakes: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/news/13780541-special-easter-passover-discount-on-sp30-group-purchase

lets say you have a sp10 in hand may 5th and you paid 4k usd . it stands a chance of making money.
Ordering SP10 via the bundle deal and applying 10% discount (with proof of order from other manufacturer) and you're at 3,600$ Ordering now and there is a very good chance you'll get your miner well before the 10th

Hello, This week I had to send the devices from your competitor's back to China. My custom agent (Poland) told me that the devices does not have the CE marking and declaration of conformity and certainly will be stopped at the customs office indefinitely. My question is: 1 Do your devices are CE marked? 2 Do you meet the requirements in the directives on electrical equipment? 3 Do you provide for the importer Declarations of Conformity with the device? http://www.conformance.co.uk/info/declarationofcon.php # http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CE_markingPlease contact sales@spondoolis-tech.comWe do have CE and FCC compliance. Hosting is another option.
