1901  Economy / Services / Re: I'll Pay $10 For Scam Exchanges on: June 05, 2022, 09:08:10 AM
Background:

One fellow contacted me on Discord that I won some bitcoins at their exchange, I did a background check and discovered that it's a scam exchange. So I'm looking to start exposing some of these scam sites. If you find new scam exchanges, I'm willing to pay $10 for 20 scam exchanges you find. Please note that they must be new ones.

If this is something you can do, contact me on Telegram @Cyberczar

There are already many scam websites exposed in the Scam Accusations section, so if you would like to compile a list, I suggest you begin there.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Considering your offer, my only objection is that I don't see why this has to be done in Telegram. There are many complaints about spam and other issues on this platform. You can simply ask members to share their findings here.
1902  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com does not pay out $40k+ money. Scam on: June 05, 2022, 08:50:13 AM
Let me begin by clarifying that I am not taking any side here. Just a neutral observer.

This is a brief description of a situation, if I understood correctly. The casino alleges the user is multi-accounting, which violates their Terms of Service. The casino then asks the user to provide additional documents for ID verification. The user complies and submits the required documents, but the casino remains firm on its original stance of multi-accounting. Did I get this right or did I miss something?

There are a few things that do not make sense to me. If the casino has irrefutable evidence that a particular user has violated the ToS, why are they requesting additional ID verification? Is it possible that ID verification could challenge the evidence they already have?

It will be nice if you could list the AV you find to be worthwhile through your research because security should be the number one priority of every cryptocurrency investor or holder.

I don't want to single anyone out in a negative context, and I think everyone should try out how some software behaves in his environment - and they all have a trial period of 15 or 30 days, which is enough for everyone to decide if something is good for them or not. Here I am primarily thinking of testing premium software, not those that are free.

My recommendation would be Norton 360 + Premium Malwarebytes, both complement each other great and you don't feel their impact on a computer that has 8 GB of RAM.
I understand what you're trying to point out but I ask the question because not everybody that has the knowledge or time to understand the best AV to use.
I have once used Norton on my old laptop computer and I can tell it is a good AV but sometimes it is hard for my old computer to withstand the capacity of the AV. However, I have never tried out the AV again ever since then and what I use now is Kaspersky.
I have never used Malwarebytes but someone once told me that using it alone with updated window defender is enough if don't visit an untrust site.

My recommendation for a commercial anti-virus is Nod32. I have used it on my business computers for years and have never had any problems. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is also commercial software, and in my experience it's able to detect threats that standard antivirus programs miss.

1905  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Virtual Mastercard Cards - SATOSCARD CryptoDebit SCAM on: June 04, 2022, 08:46:57 PM
This is just rinse and repeat scam that was previously called CriptoDebit and they offered scam debit cards with same model.

By the way, their previous site CriptoDebit was unavailable for some time, and recently they decided to play an interesting comedy. They revived the domain and hung this explanation there Grin Grin Grin

UPDATE: 01-06-2022

Hello everyone, We are extremely sorry for the down-time.
We have our domain back and we are restoring all files to continue our service and refund you where needed.
If you have any questions please email us via: info@cryptodebit.com

Backstory: We were sued by the copyright owner of the word "crypto" and they got a court order to seize our domain. Lucky we were able to come to an agreement and buy the name "crypto".
Now we are waiting for our hosting company to release our engrypted servers and restore our service.
Archive: https://archive.ph/rRMmV

Who is all this nonsense intended for?

It is obvious from such a statement that CryptoDebit was a scam and SATOSCARD is likely the same, since they have confirmed that they are related.
There are over 2000 matches for the word "crypto" in the Companies House @ GOV.UK database. So to say that someone sued them for copyright infringement on the word "crypto" is wholly absurd.
1906  Economy / Services / Re: Bounty signature management available 🤪🤪 on: June 01, 2022, 11:01:00 PM
Hey

I'm a bitcointlk manager

Do you want to promote your project through  bitcointlk Bounty program?

I believe you should first gain some reputation on the forum before offering management services. You are still a newbie with less than 5 days of activity on the forum. You cannot even post pictures on the forum with your current rank, so how will you post ANNs or service topics?
1907  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinpenguin.com not paying out winnings on: June 01, 2022, 10:39:57 PM
hello there, i just wanted to report that the mentioned casino (bitcoinpenguin.com) is not paying out my winnings,
after more than 7 hours after withdraw, it is still in pending status.

Just because your withdrawal is in pending status does not mean the casino will not pay. Maybe their hot wallet is temporarily empty or they need to conduct additional security checks. Have you contacted their customer support?

Lets wait a little bit to see if the pay.

Exactly. I see no reason to open a scam accusation, at least not before contacting customer support. Also, 7 hours is not that long.
1908  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Four (4) Tips On How I Handle Criticism on Bitcointalk Forum on: June 01, 2022, 09:47:22 PM
How do you deal with criticism on Bitcointalk forum?

Many of us interpret criticism as an attack on our own value, taking criticism personally when it is not. We must never forget that feedback, whether positive or negative, is simply a reflection of how others perceive our words. If the feedback is negative, it is for us to learn from it, adapt, and become a better speaker, writer, or communicator. This will help us learn to handle criticism more effectively. Don't let the negativity drain you of your self-confidence, let it motivate you. Remember that the goal is not to be perfect, but to be an effective communicator, that's what's important.
1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: June 01, 2022, 09:11:18 PM
[edited out]

I can do whatever I want with my topic.

You go girl!!!!

But regardless, it is really funny and crazy how you, a top advocate of the bitcoin scam, have the audacity to moralize someone for editing a post on a forum.

bitcoin does not edit its transactions

and

I do not edit my posts either.... (especially if they have existed for more than an hour or so)

So I am having some difficulties understanding what point you are making exactly.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

You understand very well what point I am making.

It appears to me that you are deflecting.

You are the one who ends up changing the OP after the fact that many members had already attempted to respond to each version of your OP.. then you switch to some new variant of a topic.

When I point this out, you try to muddy the waters by ambiguously proclaiming that there is something wrong with me and/or my motives rather than the obvious issue in front of us - which is your actions of changing the topic at least twice which could also be referred to as a disingenuine moving of the goal posts.

#you fuck.

That is the point. He doesn't even know what arguments to use anymore. So he changes the original post to create a new invalid argument and continues to argue with that. This is such a defeatist attitude. And I almost feel sorry for him. At this point, it is useless for anyone to prove him wrong; he will just say the same thing over and over.

1910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 30, 2022, 09:47:17 PM
All systems use numbers to express the quantity of shares in a system that someone bought. But in the bitcoin system these shares are worthless because their holders are unable to return their investments from the system that issued them.

I am still not sure whether you truly don't understand or if you are just pretending. Bitcoin is not a system of "shares" like in traditional stock markets. Why do you keep comparing them?
To put it simply, Bitcoin is merely a method of transferring value between two parties. P2P type of payment system. There is no issuer of shares or company in which you invested funds when you exchange fiat currency for cryptocurrency. You simply exchanged one currency for another while, at the same time, someone else did the same in the opposite direction. That is it!
1911  Economy / Reputation / Re: For the reputation of this forum: you HAVE to rule on this flag! Share 10mBTC on: May 29, 2022, 08:00:19 PM
This was an interesting experiment. If I'm not mistaken, the first of its kind on this forum. However, it appears that there are not many forum members who are interested in the offer. In a way, I actually like that.

As for support (or opposition) for the flag, I will make my decision after taking a closer look at the entire case (and once the deadline for participation in the "experiment" expires). No offense, OP. Even though you may have had good intentions, I do not agree with your execution.
1912  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hi everybody..Nice to meet you on: May 29, 2022, 05:53:53 PM

No my friend needed.. because I feel like I have been harassed here just because of my name..,, I don't know if name  problematic in here..., may god bless you all..

What do you mean, you feel harassed here? Did you expect people to take you seriously?
You chose a username that implies desire for sex with your sister? (I had to use Google Translate, so correct me if I am wrong.) Have you ever wondered how we (other forum members) might feel when we see this?

So, fuck off, juvenile troll! You have no idea what harassment means.
1913  Economy / Services / Re: HELP WITH BETTING! BETTING FOR YOU! MAKE MONEY WITH ME! on: May 29, 2022, 05:28:03 PM
You dont need send me money in advance.

What do you mean by "we don't need to send money in advance"? Your reputation is at issue because you are a new account here, which is very clear. Why should people trust you with their money? You can just take money and run since you have no reputation to lose. How about using an escrow? At least then we can be sure that you will deliver the service.

You do preach. And you do have to preach. Simply because you have to return your investment.

You claim I preach Bitcoin here? On a bitcoin-related forum? Is that what you say?
That sounds kind of absurd, don't you think?

When you say anything positive about bitcoin you're preaching.
~

Does this apply to me only, or to anyone who disagrees with your position? I thought we had a healthy debate, but you seem to be overly emotional now. I am gonna let you cool off for a while so we can continue the discussion when you are feeling less emotional.
1916  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: free crypto with learn and earn on: May 29, 2022, 01:28:49 PM
I don't understand why you people think that you can merely gain crypto without doing anything. Even miners are doing hard work to get their coins.

It is probably remnants from the old days when some early adopters shared bitcoin for free to spread the word. It started with faucets and eventually evolved into various learn-to-earn crypto programs.

As I see it, the only thing you can do to get more crypto is to work for it. The reason the coin is worth anything is because of the work that was put into it.
Cryptocurrency works just like real-world fiat currency. You work for it, you buy it with your labor, you trade it for other goods and services, and so forth. You can only get more of it by earning more of it.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 29, 2022, 11:49:57 AM
Sure you have to preach. You hold certificates of the system that won't return even a dime worth of your investment. Meaning you were tricked into buying the certificates which are completely worthless. And now you are forced to trick others to buy these worthless certificates by speaking and preaching positive about them. I understand. This preaching is what tricked people into buying the certificates in the first place. Now there's a whole army of tricked victims (holders) and they all need new investors to return their investments. So, of course that the only thing this army will do all day long is talking positive about their holdings.

You made a bunch of bullshit up. Every part of it is incorrect.

1. Like I said before, I don't have to preach. No one has to. There is no reward system or other form of incentive for those who preach versus those who don't. Every bitcoin holder has the same rights and opportunities as everyone else in the system. Therefore, your claim is totally incorrect.

2. I do not hold any "certificates". I have no idea where you got that definition from, or if it is just a product of your imagination, but that is not what defines bitcoin cryptocurrency.

3. What exactly am I tricked about? Can you be a little more specific? By the way, bitcoin cryptocurrency is not worthless. Whoever told you that is trying to fool you. Do not trust them!

4. No, I am not forced to do anything. That is what makes it so great.

5. The rest of your post is just wrong conclusions you drew based on the wrong assumptions you made.
1918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think we should do with our investments in times of uncertainty? on: May 29, 2022, 09:42:52 AM
For me personally, the uncertainty that can only be experienced for a while is an acceptable level of risk, in order to withstand the trend and the bear market that can affect, I almost don't look at the price value your investment portfolio.  After going through the cycles of 2018, 2019 noa helps me better visualize opportunities for this uncertainty

Yes, and I think that is the primary driver as we look at this and just come back to sort of where we are in cycle and the fact that the things that we've seen happen are just a continuation of trends that have been going on for some time. And so when you think about the set of risk that we're facing and the fact that risk's turned the corner with interest rates up, volatility up, and commodities moving more, that is a pretty significant catalyst to demand for different types of capital assets like Bitcoin.
1919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what age did you start learning about bitcoin? on: May 29, 2022, 09:27:10 AM
~
I believe I was asking the wrong question. There is NO "solution", other than let the older generation die and be replaced by a younger generation more willing to accept Bitcoin, OR who might already be HODLing Bitcoin.

Yes, but there is a problem with your "plan". By the time it happens, we willl be the "older" generation, and, I don't know about you, but I don't want to wait that long. No, I still think that a better solution is to bring Bitcoin closer to the older generation, allowing those to learn about and get into it in a way that won't scare them away, and, giving them some fun things to learn about along the way.

I love the idea that the "Bitcoin generation" can grow up and become a large part of the market, but I also think that there is value in being introduced to Bitcoin at any age. We all know about "old school" currencies, but there is a new, shiny form of money coming into the world now, and we don't want the "older" generation to be frightened off by it or feel like it's not something that they can understand.
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Myth and not Real on: May 29, 2022, 08:56:32 AM
Crypto is scam in general because it creates a system that issues the certificates to lure people to invest, and then people are able to return the investments only if new investors buy the certificates. Hence, a modern day investment scam.

Nah, crypto is about decentralization and individual empowerment. Nothing can be used to mislead people, and none of these fraudulent practices can work here.
In fact, I can only say that crypto is the most promising form of money creation system we have in this era and crypto and blockchain are here to stay.

Yes, that's the story you must preach because you're not able to return your investment from the system whose certificates you hold. You need new investors and you must trick them to buy your worthless certificates by talking about decentralization, empowerment, how your certificates will save the humanity, make poor people rich, how they are equivalent to Jesus, and so on.  I understand what you're doing. It's just that people don't buy this nonsense anymore.

I don't have to "preach" anything or "trick" anyone, I can just take my "numbers" at any moment and buy ANYTHING and ANYWHERE in the world. Now, can you explain how that is not a benefit or how there is no value in that system? Is there another system similar to that or even better?

Also, please let us use valid arguments and do not bring up religion in this discussion. Religion has nothing to do with this and I am sensitive to my religious beliefs. OK?
