^^ The no-fee (or PWYW model as I recall it being referenced) was fresh, but the way they broke the time-chronology of coins with various denominated non-input-linked chips was rather what I thought was the thing that really broke the mould. If you recall they came out of the ashes of the then-dominant mixer and every rival since still stuck to the old model (output = combination of input - fee).

NBA results didn't go as planned, but it was always a stretch to hope that Bulls would go through, a lesson on picking the wrong underdog!

Definitely need to pay more attention. I'm in bottom spots but playing for yellow caps every week (and hey, the jerseys are a great bonus). Off to a good start so far as I predicted a Villa upset and they're actually playing quite well recently and putting up a good show at home against this season's upstarts. Attack's free-flowing, defence is sturdy. Unai Emery might have found a home, after all. Oh and we're 8/9 games away from the end, so plenty to play for. I did think we'd get some dropouts also in ATP but I was banking on Tsitsi to capitulate early... now I have to hope he makes it past Fritz, and also Rune to not play well. Matches start over the next few hours so I might actually get some eyes on them! Medvedev's the slight underdog though... Not many games left to the end, and I think Feyenoord would very much like to put one leg in the door tonight, but Roma will feel equally certain about their abilities to make a statement away from home. Still scoreless as it stands... Roma disallowed goal, heh.

Yeah as Trofo says, I just couldn't bear choosing Milan or even a draw (and somehow I'm lucky they didn't equalise or casper would already be ahead).
NBA draw also has him in the lead, so I hope for 2 miracles now: Wolves to get knocked out, and Bulls to win their next game. Any other combination means I lose that point.

I think if West Ham take tonight with at least 2 goal margin, they will be the firm favourite to win this cup, no matter the results elsewhere. As said before, I think Basel are solid, Nice too, even if they're a shadow of themselves 2 seasons ago, Fiorentina... It's almost fitting they're all here tonight, midtable mediocrity in leagues, and it doesn't match up to Hammers closer to relegation than to halfway point, but I'm taking into account the EPL is a pretty tough league.

Man, Napoli. So much more interesting to watch even without their main man, I think the only thing they'll regret is trying too many times from way outside the box in first half (but apparently that's served them well all season so I shouldn't complain).
It's 1-0, it's nothing, they can turn this around easily if they just keep playing the way they do, and Milan too, honestly.

I live in Russia, in a province quite far from Moscow. I can't say that in economic terms nothing has changed over the year - some things got better, some things got worse. In general, people here live an ordinary normal life.
Probably the most significant change after the imposition of sanctions - we had to change the dry food for the cat. Previously, the cat ate Royal Canin food, at some point this food began to rise sharply in price and I had to switch to dry food from a local manufacturer, which is better in composition and cheaper in price. I myself also faced sanctions restrictions when I recently wanted to buy summer sneakers, it turned out that Adidas left Russia and I had to buy local brand sneakers. I can’t say that it upset me a lot, the cat doesn’t complain either.
Do you know if people outside are less open to doing business with you? I know I worked with several freelancers before who had to close their accounts on several platforms. Crypto-accepting people are probably less affected, they still have the means to transact, but I'm understanding from anecdotal evidence that clients are less willing to work with them (without actually saying it's because they're Russian). If there is an effect, there is an impact on revenue coming from outside. |

Trust, really. It's the only thing. One way you can build with reputation and longevity. CM did perhaps get accelerated recognition -- really smart actually, by simply aligning itself with reputable members and campaign managers.
But I think people overlook that they introduced an innovation that hadn't been thought of in years.
6 years later and no mixer's come up with something new (feel free to prove me wrong, I would love to know).
