2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CMC and coingecko on: November 07, 2019, 12:07:52 AM
CMC and coingecko both very useful for us, i used to use both however i am confused why many coins and tokens not listing in CMC but listing in coingecko, not only coins and tokens but also many exchanges, is this because coingecko become more popular than CMC, or for something else.

It's about what exchanges and volume they take into reference. For coins to be listed in coinmarketcap, it should be traded in at least two of medium sized exchange and has a good volume. Coinmarketcap also ranks exchanges. They are not only ranking coins, they have reference to many aspects of coins from their whitepaper to social links and historical data.
Coingecko is also very useful and has larger number of coins but I'm so used to CMC that I find it hassle on coingecko to find the info I'm looking for.
2002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Will not Ban Bitcoin Mining! on: November 06, 2019, 04:39:56 PM
That's not a surprise. Mining Farm in China are one of the larger source of foreign capital income. It has directly and indirectly created many jobs in China and has crafted many individuals as specialist in the field. China would not want to fall behind US in any technology mostly in case of the one that may have huge impact to the society in coming time.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Like An Orphan on: November 06, 2019, 03:59:19 PM
Why don't we have people doing this for btc adoption. This would encourage newbies like us. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/roger-ver-gives-away-free-bitcoin-cash-believes-it-would-be-worth-5000-in-future/

Roger ver is the one who will benefit from the hype he created for his coin, we already have a lot of faucets for Bitcoin, and besides Bitcoin also started that give away when it is just starting out, we also have a lot of freelances that gives Bitcoin, one example is Cryptotalk, but if there's an organization or an individual that will do that, that will be better and will benefit the adoption.

Bitcoin is so decentralized and so popular that I don't think we need anymore effort just to promote bitcoin like Roger Ver is doing for bitcoincash. There are many faucets for bitcoins and many services that accepts bitcoins. There are many bitcoin oriented companies that are having a profit with the use and exchange of bitcoin, they would naturally promote it to increase there revenue. The remaining bitcoin community just needs to held together and mover forward together for bitcoin to succeed.
2004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How someones made 184 Billion Bitcoin appear out of nowhere on: November 06, 2019, 03:54:25 PM
Good info. But it's a completely plagiarized text from the cryptoninja website. Not a single word or link added or deducted by the OP. OP's almost every post are just a copy paste from different websites.
2005  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. Government Tried To Shut Down Bitcoin on: November 06, 2019, 03:15:30 PM
This is one of the old story, they have tried and they failed. There is no any government that can shut down bitcoin due to bitcoin proof of work, consensus, nodes, and miners that spread across the world. Now they just regulate it and watch over everyone who registered on exchanges, tax is one of the reasons they do that.
The government can ban bitcoin, exchanges, and miners, but they can't prohibit people using it under the radar, bitcoin is the money of freedom.

But the government can control the country and if they control their country from using bitcoin then it will have a huge effect from the price of bitcoin like the China do.

There has a lot of young millionaire from US that I heard from using bitcoin when they are kid because of their advanced technology so why they need to shut it down?

China is probably the largest market for bitcoin. China's ban on crypto has made people much more aware of bitcoin.  And Chinese people trade bitcoin and other cryptocurrency P2P.
Which is also the real intention for cryptocurrency. Many of the merchants too accept crypto in China despite the ban.
US is a much more friendlier nation for freedom of people. And they'll probably not go against a lot of people to restrict the use of bitcoin in the US.
2006  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will happen when we will die ? on: November 06, 2019, 02:58:17 PM
Animal life always amazes me. You can keep an animal alive by transplanting organs but once it dies, nothing can bring it back. There's soul which once lost cannot be retrieved.
I wonder what happens to that soul. Our body disintegrates after the soul leaves our body.
I'm waiting for a full head transplant to happen, it could tell us about how animal body works and what dies when they die.
2007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Application (Dapp) on: November 06, 2019, 02:34:20 PM
I'm curious about storing our assets online, mostly online wallets. Do you think there's possibility the developer collect our address, especially our private key?
I usually store my coins on a paper wallet and we all know storing in a cold wallet is the safer way to secure all assets.
Do you think it's secure to import our address to an app? Is there any identification of a real decentralized application to trust our keys.

If you are talking about wallets that contact with dapps like metamask, Metamask is a user based wallet. They don't store your keys on the cloud though they give you a back up options to access your wallet. The security of such wallets largely depends on how safe you use. It displays a popup everytime the dapps want to access your wallet and you can give it a permission or deny it according to your will.
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Cryptocurrency; Driving me mad. on: November 06, 2019, 01:21:36 PM
There are literally 100s of such cryptocurrency that aims to target most of what you mentioned. Libra too is an example of integrating a messenger(status messenger), crypto wallet, and Web browser built with state of the art technology and another decentralized approach is Gram. They too aiming at hitting all the three mentioned objectives.
2009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Manipulation Pushing the price Further Low on: November 06, 2019, 12:15:24 PM
Bitcoin price fluctuations this week has thrown light on the trading of Bitcoin, as BTC trading is supposed to be manipulated by traders. The media, including the famous analyst Willy Woo who pointed to the trend of market manipulation in the midst of deep studies.

Source: https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/bitcoin-price-analysis-traders-manipulating-bitcoins-market/

The large traders are intentionally trying to lower the price of bitcoin for buying cheap. The recent rise and falls are due to whales buying coins on a low price and not buying on larger price. On every cycle they are accumulating bitcoin and they'll dump it when the real manipulation starts.
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would an Economy based on BTC look like? on: November 05, 2019, 01:38:33 AM
Bitcoin would be much more helpful in international trade. And it would be difficult for a single country to adopt bitcoin to fullest while others are reluctant to. Bitcoin should be adopted in equal pace globally. Use of bitcoin is just a single country may be manipulated by influx or outflux of currency outside of the country making the market unstable.
2011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 04, 2019, 05:02:39 PM
I generally depend on the reviews of people here. I've been scammed so many times that I don't risk trying any new things. I'd rather go to those that has been tested and proven for a long time. Provably fair is the basic thing you should expect from a gambling site. I wait for my coin or token to be listed on a good exchange which I can trust than to jump into depositing in an unknown exchange.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin disappear? on: November 04, 2019, 03:28:46 PM
Nothing is permanent here. But I'm quit sure government's won't be able to stop it as more they criminalize it, more popular it would get. If government took a harsh action against bitcoin, it's traders and users, that would be counterproductive for them. They might be able to restrain somewhere for sometime but sooner or later there would be no firewall to block bitcoin.

Agree with this too that our batting lineup wasn't good as well but still I think we should have gotten good early wickets against Bangladesh. Bowling and Fielding are two department which disappointed more than batting in last match.
The Indian team is over-dependent on Kohli and Sharma these days. If these 2 guys get out, the remaining players falter. Bowling wise, Chahal bowled decently while the rest were bad. They need to play better Cricket in my opinion.
I think it's because rest of the team hasn't got enought chances to play. It's because most of the times top 3 bat so well that they take it until the end of the game. Moreover due to the game being of shorter version there isn't much time for lower order batsmen to settle. This is why you would see a lot of players in top form when IPL just ends but most of them get rusted after 6 months of IPL because they don't get much chances of playing.

A very impressive and confident game play from the Bangladeshi teams. India is full of talented players and everytime they loose, it's due to imbalance in the team. For building a balanced team, they need experiments and the loss should be taken easily as Bangladesh showed better performance in every aspects of the game.
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin real or a meme? on: November 04, 2019, 02:46:59 PM
I recently heard of Dogecoin from a couple of friends of mine. Is it a meme or an actual cryptocurrency, because so I would like to get some myself. Also, what trading platforms trade Dogecoin?

Also, if possible can you mention any useful information about Dogecoin that I can use when trading it or buy it. Thanks.

It's a real meme coin. During the times of early coins, dogecoin was made to let people learn about mining and using cryptocurrency but the coin itself got a good value and fan following with the ease of use and it's low transaction fees and fast transactions. It was one of the most tipping coins and a good gambling coin.
2015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KRATSCOIN (KTC) new coin with serial number on: November 04, 2019, 02:32:59 PM
I just want to give a little explanation about new coins. it is KRATSCOIN (KTC). But only a little explanation, because the information does not yet exist. and I think this is still under development.
Kratscoin is an altcoin variant of bitcoin development. and have basic differences. if bitcoin is anonymous, KRATSCOIN will have a serial number on each unit. the main goal is to make tracking easy. because so far the main problem of bitcoin is anonymous. and Kratscoin will cover that. about the other that i read is. similarities in the mining system (ASIC Miner S9), a total supply of 21 million, and halving every 21000 blocks is the same as bitcoin. I hope if anyone has more information, please write here. because I also want to get other information about Kratscoin.

Kratscoin explorer: http://3.0.49.178/

Anonymity is not the problem of bitcoin. It's actually the solution. That anonymity thing stood out bitcoin from other digital tokens.
Assigning serial number to every coin to track it everywhere is also a good way for digitizing money. This may be the future for crypto fiat. Kratscoin seems to be an interesting project.
2016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 04, 2019, 02:22:16 PM
There's no exact answer for this as it depends on the project you are involved. Extending a campaign sometimes do extend the distributed tokens and sometimes it's this amount of time could be considerable with the same amount. But you might also be getting nothing for the two further weeks yet you might get stuck with it as they don't allow to leave the campaign in the middle. If they do, you could decide for your own.
2017  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Leaked information. Are we really safe at all? on: November 04, 2019, 03:51:45 AM
Don't want to remember it but my email was leaked through this forum. And there were so much bruteforce attack on several of my accounts in different sites. I used to join every site with the single email and that leak made me change email on every sites. With two emails, there were different problems on syncing through my phone and accounts.
Now I'he made different email addresses for my personal and official use while others for crypto related sites.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best DEX on: November 04, 2019, 12:11:39 AM
Hi guys! Recently decided to move all my activity to a DEX exchange. But haven't decided which one of them to use yet. Do you use DEXes? What's the best one?
Changelly and the Barter DEX's are pretty useful, I did a fair bit of trading with them previously, although Changelly had pretty hefty fees compared to the other exchanges out there.

Can't understand why dexes are so hyping...

More secure, that's all. Using a centralized exchange is the same like using a centralized bank.
Yep, decentralised exchanges are a lot safer then using something that is controlled by an actual company, we've all heard stories of funds being frozen, KYC forced, hacks, and other horror stories. DEX's make these go away.

Move this to service discussion/trading discussion, you'll get better answers there.

IDEX and Kyber network are one of the largest DEX. Though Changelly advertises itself as a DEX, it's not. The closest DEX alternative to Changelly is airswap.
Binance DEX is a cool new option and with much documentation than any others. Decentralized exchange gives you the feeling that you are always in control of your money.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you follow developers, Lisk is booming, if you follow users, Lisk is dead. on: November 03, 2019, 11:47:32 PM
LISK has failed to deliver any solid progress in the last 3 and a half years. How long would anyone expect  to see products delivered from a software based project?
Though they have recently launched an alpha version of their SDK, there are no attractions seen towards it. They are out of their roadmap and the progress is just to fool the investors.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptonization Fail ? on: November 03, 2019, 11:20:26 PM
Crypto is an overachiever. In short amount of time crypto currency has risen to Central attention of the world. Recently China announced they would boost up their R&D on blockchain  to counter US dominance in the field. So, it's a win for crypto.
Regarding the coins in CMC, they too are of different kinds, some are purely speculative while some are also pegged to the net profit of a company and many other ways to maintain the price.
