2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why the hate on binance exchange on: July 24, 2021, 10:30:21 PM
Binance is the number one exchange in the world of cryptocurrencies.
For me it is also like for many, besides that it has the best score: https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
You cannot trust Coinmarketcap and expect everything related to Binance will be updated even if there is something negative because they own the website as they purchased them from the old team for $400 million.

I don't see any exchange outgrow it for a long time, as it is constantly updated to have the best products from a good exchange...
You never know, some of the major traded countries have banned Binance and asked to comply with the regulators but instead of complying they ran away and how long they will be running and Binance exploded into the scene recently and you will see another exploding like that which is willing to comply with the regulators and it is possible that it will surpass Binance as well Wink.
2022  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: July 24, 2021, 09:17:44 PM
The crypto community, of course, is happy that countries such as El Salvador are already ready to accept bitcoin at the state level, as this contributes to even greater acceptance of bitcoin, its popularity, and, consequently, an increase in price in the future. For bitcoin investors, this is a happy event, but the residents of El Salvador do not really like it and they came out to protest against the new law.
If you enforce people to use anything you should expect a huge protest and that is what we are witnessing, i thought it was an alternative payment option for the citizen and here they are saying about enforcing the use of BTCitcoin and it is not going to work. Either they need to explain to the merchants that they can always convert their coins to the coin of their choice instantly if they do not want to hold them for long. I am also not a huge fan of enforcing these to everyone, just give them the option and everything would work well and no one would protest.
2023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero: A good long-term investment? on: July 24, 2021, 08:37:16 PM
~
Yes. Monero's at a difficult situation right now as exchanges continue to de-list it from their platforms. This will affect the privacy coin's mainstream adoption as we speak. The Blockchain will still be alive, but it'll be much harder to get access to it. Not everyone is tech-savvy enough to use decentralized exchanges or atomic swaps to get Monero. The more centralized exchanges de-list Monero, the lower its price will be. How will Monero survive without them, is beyond me.
Anyone who takes their privacy seriously will still trade with Monero even if all the centralized exchanges de list them, we will see a resurgence of DEX and it might not happen all of a sudden but in due time we will see that happen. If anyone is investing in Monero or any other privacy coins expecting a huge return then you will be disappointed, but the merit of using it is beyond the face valuation.

At least, the code is open source. If Monero fails, anyone can make a new cryptocurrency from scratch based on the same code to make it regulatory-compliant. Not everyone will agree to this (especially privacy proponents), but it would be the best path to take to ensure the cryptocurrency gets listed on centralized exchanges. I'd be very careful investing large amounts of money into Monero because the risk is too high. Just my thoughts Grin
What is the use if someone forks the coin and make it regulatory complaint, which mean you are giving away the privacy factor so what is the point in that, even then there are ways you can intercept a Monero transaction as it uses Dandelion++ for broadcasting the transactions and anyone can create fake nodes and capture the transaction details before broadcasting but i have not heard about a massive attack on a large scale even though there were many attempts
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 24, 2021, 07:11:15 PM
Losing the second T20 match against a team that hardly gets a chance to play international cricket can be very demoralising. Indeed Zimbabwe was in control of the match from the beginning and it can be possible that they repeat the same performance in the third T20 match. It would be interesting to watch the last match as it would be the decider for the series.
In T20 anything is possible, even if one or two players perform well then they will win the match and that is how Zimbabwe won the match against Bangladesh and one slip up can change the course of the match, Zimbabwe scored a decent total and Bangladesh failed to create partnership and you can call it demoralizing because Zimbabwe was a heavy underdog and i am sure many would have lost their bet.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CEO of Twitter has full control of the Bitcoin market by banning Elon Musk on: July 24, 2021, 05:01:20 PM
I am not a huge fan of Musk manipulating the market for his benefit but i am not in favor of banning him from Twitter solely because of that, if he is conveying fake news then then Twitter will tag him as manipulated news and till now Musk is smart enough to avoid these tags because he is just voicing his opinion and you cannot ban someone for just voicing his opinion.
2026  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is not good on: July 24, 2021, 03:42:47 PM
I'm not sure if Bitcoin has found its bottom. This pump and dump scenario is causing market noise that bitcoin will go below $20K. Don't be fooled by the bull trap. There is too much excitement among everyone. Yet, there is nothing to be bullish about. There will either be an increase or a decrease by the end of the year. There is still a long way to go.
If you are looking for the long term then there is nothing to worry whether the market has reached its bottom or not. Usually by the end of the year during the halving year the price usually rallies but this time around we saw a rally much earlier than anticipated and we already touched an all time high valuation and the market is consolidating and we might yet again see another rally before the major correction, even if that does not happen there is nothing to worry if you are looking to invest for the long term.

This is how bullshit happens, i placed a bet on India to win expecting them to whitewash the series and they made major changes in the team and there is no way they are going to win this match without their main players that played in the first two matches, sadly i had to cash out at a huge loss after India started good and then loosing all the wickets for 225 runs which i did not expect.
India wanted to give everyone an opportunity for every player and even though they failed to win the match and even though they scored only 225 runs Sri Lanka struggled to win in the end as they kept on loosing wickets and considering the way in which India played in the series Sri Lanka is lucky that the first team is not touring them, if not we would have seen a one sided beating in all of the matches Grin.

However, I didn't expect bowlers to help India win the game though. I usually observed Shardul performing well as a batsman, but it was Chahar this time around.
I did not expect India to win the match after they lost their 5th wicket for 115 runs and it is great to see that the team does not like loosing and it reminds me of the performance by Australia and South Africa in the 90s, where they refuse to loose even when their top payers are back in the pavilion.

What is worse is that the Sri Lankan coach and captain had an argument on field which is seriously demoralising for the team overall. Sad times for Sri Lankan cricket.
Dimuth Karunaratne and Angelo Mathews are not part of the squad and there might be a reason for that as i have seen reports of a rift between the cricket board and now the present captain and the coach.

Anyone noticed a cryptocurrency exchange (CoinDCX) sponsoring Sri Lankan team, i was surprised to see that because it was an Indian cryptocurrency exchange and ceased to operate when the RBI circular came out in 2018 and it looks like they are back in full swing to sponsor a cricket team looks awesome.

lol
its like they want to re-arrange history to act like they were influencers from the start
Everyone wants to be the father of all deeds from the start  Cheesy.

It is an interesting take by Elon with regards to Tesla saying that 'Tesla will be resuming BTC payments' but on the stand of renewables backing up to 80% of it BTC mining energy usage with an increasing trend on this.
I was expecting this from Elon, after his dramatic turn burning the market and now a green energy savior in the making, he is full of shit.

Is this meeting have anything to do with the market reaction! Yesterday btc was below 30k but right now it looks like the price is slowly going back up, am really hoping btc will pull another surprise on us and do another run before the year ends, I can't to see more green candles again, there have been too many red, it is time to experience another price pump.
This meeting has everything to the market turning green and moving up and the speech of Elon as if he is holding ETH and BTCitcoin is the reason for  the market turning green.

Underdogs on top in both the ODIs that are ongoing now. Sri Lanka has made 68/0 after 11.3 overs, while Zimbabwe is in a strong position at 225/5 after 43.1 overs. Both the teams badly need 10 points from today's games, as they are currently placed at the rock bottom of the ODI World Cup League points table. Sri Lanka should have had 15 points, but they recently received -2 in penalty for slow over rate. If these teams can't get points from the ongoing series, then they can say goodbye to their chances of directly qualifying to CWC 2023.
From a dismal start from Zimbabwe and their struggle in the middle overs till the 40th over, they ended up reaching 298 runs in the end and no one would have expect that kind of performance in the last few overs apart from the last two overs and Bangladesh have a huge total to chase and it is not going to be easy for them to chase this score if their top order fails again.

Sri Lanka already lost 4 wickets and are struggling again, they need to find players that could hold their middle order if not it is not going to be easy moving forward.

India cruising to victory and Arjuna Ranatunga should be hiding for his criticism Cheesy.
There are many funny memes going on in social media and i am sure Arjuna Ranatunga is no watching how Sri Lanka is performing to make a comment like that, now after the cry about India sending a second string team as an insult they should be thanking the BCCI that they sent a team that could easily defeat them, but he is most probably not watching cricket as India sent a strong team that performed well in the IPL and other domestic tournaments.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 18, 2021, 03:09:14 PM
Bangladesh needs 31 runs in the last 5 overs to win. Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Saifuddin are in the crease. Both are good batsmen. Shakib is playing great today. He has already scored 84 runs. Saifuddin has been able to 15. Bangladesh team seems to win today's match.
I thought it will be an easy win for Bangladesh but they made it difficult and their only positive aspect is that Shakib Al Hasan is still in the crease and they need 18 more runs in 16 balls and it is not a huge task in the T20 era but their tail is exposed and Shakib Al Hasan needs to stay till the end for them to win the match, kudos to Bangladesh for making this an interesting match  Cheesy.

They included the experienced players but at the last moment they had to replace the whole team due to covid-19 infections. The all important match between the two teams will be played today. Lets see if pakistan manage to repeat the same performance and make the series 2-0. Pakistan will have advantage today.
Pakistan usually do not surprise us twice in quick succession but i would like to see whether they can do that and the match depends upon Babar Azam and if he performs then Pakistan will have a fighting chance and if they can once again get a good start and then go on to score above 200 runs or chase them down Babar Azam has to play the anchor role in taking the team to victory.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 18, 2021, 10:16:41 AM
New challenge for new young Indian team. We already saw them playing in the IPL and know what they are capable of but this is international game. Sri lanka would rely on surprise factor as most of them are unknown in international arena and its hard to make any full proof strategy against new opponent. The best India could do is focus on their strong area.

Sri Lanka batting first.
Sri Lanka started carefully and as you said the team members are not that familiar and i am not sure how each players will perform and there might be someone who has the ability to increase the strike rate in the end. Anything around 280 runs India have the team to chase the score and i would like to see how Shikhar Dhawan will perform during crucial situation.

Zimbabwe is struggling and hopefully another victory for Bangladesh.

2035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin caused the mass production of altcoins and air coins on: July 18, 2021, 06:29:56 AM
As Bitcoin is gradually becoming known to the public, this financial and economic feast brought by technology geeks.
Bitcoin is like honey, attracting countless butterflies (altcoins, air coins), countless new projects appearing, ICO.IDO.
You can call that, majority of the projects in the market are created expecting to make good returns by the developers and some started for fun just copying the source code of BTCitcoin and launching as their own and to my surprise everything is valued a few years from now and some of them are over $100 even the developers who created them for fun never anticipated, but the market is moving forward and new investment coming in for all the early coin and i am not a big fan of initial offers either because you need to have a trust to the developers to complete the project after collecting the money and the risk factor is really high.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 18, 2021, 05:41:52 AM
It is a shame that my country (Russia) will compete without a flag, but I think Russian athletes will win a lot of medals at these Olympics! Russia has always been famous for many good athletes or gymnasts...
There is a reason for not allowing Russian athletes to represent the country, the state sponsored doping violation is the situation and they can compete as independent athletes, you need to accept the fact that the entire athletes were not banned from participating because when the new broke out about state manipulation of test and encouraging people to dope in a systematic manner i thought the entire athletes will be banned but everyone can participate as independent athletes and the only restriction is not to represent the country.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 17, 2021, 08:38:00 PM
At the moment there is no continuity in the performance of any team except England, Australia, New Zealand and India. We can see Pakistan and West Indies for example. Although Pakistan lost all the matches in the ODI series, they got a great victory in the first T20 match. They have scored 232 runs in just 20 overs. The West Indies, on the other hand, maintained a remarkable consistency in the T20 format but did not perform well in the other two formats.
Every team performs well in their home ground and when they are touring they will find it difficult to cope up with the situation and India was no different for decades as they performed well at home and they failed to replicate that performance outside Asian conditions and in the last decade India started winning outside and the rest of the teams need to catch up to that performance to be competitive outside their home turf.

England bowlers were unable to take any early wickets. The opening partnership helped Pakistan to make their highest score in this format. England batsman have managed to score above 200 runs, but they lost the game as they was losing their wickets without having any bigger partnership like Pakistani batsman. Pakistan won't be able to win next game without making big score like the last match. Because England has proven that they are strong enough with their batting lineup.
Full credits goes to Pakistan batsman who was able to time the innings and reach a score of 232 runs, their top order played really well and the rest of the players were able to strike at a really good rate to reach a total of 232 and if you are able to score a total like that it is impossible to chase even if you have a good batting lineup and apart from Liam Livingstone no other batsman was able to build any partnership.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some BSC influencers you follow for price signals? on: July 17, 2021, 06:23:40 PM
While it is disappointing at the same time what were they expecting? It is very difficult that anyone is going to legitimately share what they are doing to beat the markets.
The best option is to avoid all these fake influencers as they always look to make money and advertise them rather than giving you genuine advance about it, so always be careful about influencers.

And this is because if they did it and enough people applied that strategy then the strategy will become ineffective over time, so the best thing they can do is to keep it a secret not only so they can maximize their profits but also as a way to make their strategy success to last as long as possible so they do not need to find another one once it became ineffective due to being revealed to the general public.
When the ICO market was booming there were several sites that gave rating to each and every ICO project and many trusted their reviews but the fact was that they were promoting the scam projects that were paying them and many lost their money to those scam review sites, the best option is never trust these scam influencers as they always promote who is paying them.
2040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 16, 2021, 08:24:15 PM
Can anyone believe that a team who lost 3-0 in the ODI, is playing at 150-0 in T20. What a turn around is this or this Pakistan team best performs in T20 matches?
Both of the openers are willing to make a new opening wicket partnership record. England bowlers are looking helpless at the moment.
Pakistan will always surprise you with their performance or with the lack of performance and they are well known for that and the match is really interesting as England lost 4 wickets chasing a score of 233 runs and Liam Livingstone and Eoin Morgan are in the crease and if Pakistan could pick one more wicket here they can put pressure on the batting line up as the run rate keeps on increasing.

Edit: Eoin Morgan is gone and England still need 12 runs per over and it looks like an impossible task but who knows what happens in the end .
