2041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can someone become Grace in life by investing in Bitcoin and crypto on: February 24, 2023, 04:00:21 PM
Does Bitcoin work all over the world. I really want to be part of it I would like to invest in crypto and Bitcoin. Please my fellow fans friends and family I need your advice how to invest on bitcoin and crypto
Bitcoin is not bound by geographical borders, any device that manages a full node or connects to a full node and generates addresses from private keys can use bitcoin, you do not need a specific passport or to be from a specific country or prohibited to certain countries.
Whenever there is a demand and a person is willing to pay for it, this is the beginning of a small market for these currencies. This market can be Bitcoin in exchange for a service, in exchange for work, in exchange for gifts, other currencies, metals, gold, etc.
2042  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Ways to pay for bitcoin mining operation on: February 24, 2023, 03:33:16 PM
With the current interest rates and the proximity of Bitcoin to the average cost of mining, which is about 17k, and the lack of expectations of new ATH or any price higher than 28k, what is the potential return from all this risk?

It's not just about buying miners and making a profit but how long do you need to recover the capital, factoring in the depreciation factor and your ability to get rid of the mining rigs.
Another thing that can cause you to lose is energy price fluctuations.
there wasn't much left for the next Bitcoin halving.

For methods, you can use your bitcoins as collateral and buy hardware with them, or go to the bank and borrow money from them (I doubt they'll give you that).

You can set up a small company and try to sell the shares of that company to other Bitcoiners/
2043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traffic will jam if bitcoin pumps on: February 24, 2023, 03:08:19 PM
If the reason for your investment is that you believe that you will be rich, then you will most likely sell your currencies at the nearest price increase or panic. Your investment must be based on a solid foundation.
Investing is a disciplined behavior based on plans, which means that hopes and optimism for quick wealth is not within that disciplined behavior.

Many sold when prices collapsed in 2013 or 2017.
2044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From this you can be accurate 85% of the time on: February 24, 2023, 02:57:25 PM
There are several ways to calculate it, but the most famous of them is a five-point system, and therefore you need data for the high and low session with two support levels and their grooves for resistance, and therefore it is true that the different sizes will lead to breaking it, but it is difficult for the price to break a support or resistance level in the short term.

Therefore, it is a way to predict the price space, such as saying that the price is between 15K to 28k, which is true now and for a long time, but it is not a method for those who want to trade in the short term.

I trade on 15 min timeframe
will not work with that. see this

2045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - is the bottom in? on: February 24, 2023, 02:28:01 PM
When prices fell below 20,000, it was surprising to many people or most of us did not expect it, so the long stay in that range was a reason to think that we might go back to less than 10,000 dollars.
This did not happen, and therefore the chance of us returning again to that range is diminishing as long as the period continues to stay above that level for a long time.

$21,000 will be our need long support range

2046  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a way to invest in food related industry to recoup market inefficiency on: February 24, 2023, 02:12:56 PM
A while ago I heard about investing in copper, lithium and aluminum stocks due to the increased demand for them. Instead of investing in canned foods, which may not be ideal, invest in the minerals related to them because you can keep them for a longer period than the period of their name food companies, which may collapse unlike metals.

I would choose to invest in bitcoin after all.
2047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Little but expensive mistakes beginners make. on: February 23, 2023, 01:30:52 PM
What is the relationship of point number one with the rest of the points? And what is their relationship to the title of the topic? Your attempt to link these topics or bring out the topic in a good way has failed.

A mistake continues to be a mistake unless you learn from it. Therefore, when you learn, it does not become a mistake, but rather an experience that you will benefit from. Repeating mistakes without learning means that the problem is yours.
2048  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin's age of legal competence on: February 23, 2023, 11:26:48 AM
This legislation is strange in the sense that how can you know the age of a 15-year-old from an 18-year-old? Does Bitcoin fall under the items that are legally prohibited to be sold to children?
Germany is one of the countries that legalized Bitcoin a long time ago, and I did not find articles talking about problems related to buying children.
Bitcoin mining is also not a simple thing that a child can do, let alone find a place, pay electricity bills, buy mining hardware, save money for it and overcome the hype.

Refunds can be made in Bitcoin. Wink
2049  Economy / Economics / Re: Israel's Central Bank Proposes Rules for Stablecoins Including 100% Reserve on: February 23, 2023, 11:11:23 AM
The strange thing is that the motive for the regulations was the collapse of terraUSD, and yet the regulatory framework did not address algorithmically stablecoins, which means that everything that happens is an attempt to distance the banking character from stablecoins.

In the sense that if stable currencies covered in dollars are banned, this means that digital assets are not linked to financial guarantees in banking systems, which makes the fluctuations more intense, especially if the price of Bitcoin declines significantly.

While I try to avoid being judgmental or drawing conclusions based on surface observations. I have noticed a high percentage of jews have the words "gold" and "silver" in their names. Long John Silver from Treasure Island. Terry Silver from karate kid and cobra kai. Perhaps in the future jews will abandon the "gold" and "silver" in their names and opt to include "bitcoin" or "crypto" instead?
It is a strange observation, but I think it is related to beliefs more than being a financial style, otherwise who would we hear of technical names or related to stocks.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Got some old Tether on the OMNI Bitcoin chain - anyway to spend? on: February 23, 2023, 10:58:31 AM
Anyone know any KYC-free exchange or some other method to swap these tethers or are they gone forever?
It is strange that you are promoting BESTCHANGE in your signature, so consider visiting them once.

Since the fees dropped in ETH/TRON the Bitcoin OMNI layer is almost dead. I have about $10 and I searched a lot for a platform, but I couldn't find it.
Approximately, the minimum amount you can transfer is $200, so if the amount is less than that, you need to either forget it or look for a friend who has the same problem.
2051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] BITEXCOINX.COM - New Scam Exchange on: February 23, 2023, 10:09:17 AM
Quote
Our company begins its history from July 2017, when it was developed and registered by our founder and his team.
This way of lying is very funny, they claim that they have been working since 2017 and that they made 30 million dollars ATH trading.

By doing a simple search, I found that this scammer has this site, and I believe that if we continue, we will find more.
Code:
http://cryptoforex93.com/
All of these sites are hosted on a shared basis, which means that the amount of $1000 will make them create an army of these sites.

The easiest solution is to close their social media sites, because getting followers is the hardest task.

2052  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's highest amount instant exchanges can be trusted with? on: February 23, 2023, 09:50:56 AM
all instant exchanges are use API of other platforms or they have verified accounts (a lot of non-KYC accounts) and all they do is they provide a cheaper service in return for taking a commission for them.
There is rarely a platform that is complete and has enough liquidity to cover customer requests, and therefore the amount that they can transfer is limited compared to KYC CEXs.

As for the maximum amount, if we compare the fees, you will find that using CEXs is better with the higher amount, the lower fees, and vice versa.
Also, some CEXs such as OKX have low withdrawal fees.  https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/bitcoin

there is no logical reason for you to use them with amounts more than $ 500.
2053  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone done business with Lychee at Asicminersupply? on: February 23, 2023, 09:41:16 AM
Did you ever end up successfully purchasing any miners from Asicminersupply? This seller is still selling within the hardware market verified listings and has very reasonable prices, that I'd be interested in exploring if I can find someone to vouch.
It seems that the owners of this account have something to do with these channels, which are probably scams, I don't know, but does the price reduction make the person stop thinking, it's too good to be true, not to mention all these red flags, so instead of saving your money by buying something cheap, you waste all of that Money by giving it away for free to a scammer.
2054  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor with Exodus wallet recovery on: February 22, 2023, 10:20:07 AM
Recently I bought a Trezor Model T to store some XRP on it through Exodus desktop wallet.
When you use hardware wallets, you want to increase the security of your account, and using them with a closed source wallet may be a vulnerability that may lead to the loss of your money.
Use it with Trezor suite by following this https://trezor.io/learn/a/ripple-xrp-on-trezor-model-t
2055  Economy / Economics / Re: Precisely or erroneous on: February 21, 2023, 07:07:42 PM
It would be a bad idea if your investment was emotional or based on the rule that Bitcoin will always rise without you having a clear plan for when you will invest, how and when you will sell, unless you plan to invest for the long term and consider that the value of your investment is zero, then you will make profits anyway if you wait For several years, but putting 50% of the salary is not a wise idea.

Think, learn and invest only the extra money that you do not need.
2056  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Sign and verify easily with BitcoinMessageTools on: February 21, 2023, 06:25:45 PM
It doesn't work offline because I am using API from other module written in Python, and I can't use directly with HTML pages. But you have other options to run it offline:
Thank you, I will run it locally, and I may modify the code, re-translate it into my local language, so I hope you don't mind.

I trust your code is clean Grin, but adding a warning (and a disclaimer if any problem occurs) would be good as many newbies may try signing using private keys that have balance, and is there any guarantee that the private key will not be recorded?
2057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: February 21, 2023, 06:10:42 PM
I was actually wondering if there are any restrictions on age as to investing in Bitcoin?

If we are talking about Bitcoin as an investment, there is no age barrier, but knowledge. Unless you have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the risks of the investment that you are applying for, do not invest, and this includes:

  • Don't borrow to invest in bitcoin.
  • Don't invest money you can't lose.
  • Don't invest all your money in bitcoin.
  • Don't invest unless you understand the nature of investment.

If you mean as a financial transaction, children from the age of two learn how to use cash and some of them pay the store before entering school.
2058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's second biggest weekly gain happened yesterday on: February 21, 2023, 05:58:50 PM
Does the Bitcoin weekly gain give any indication? In other words, if you tracked the index over the past years, you will get any pattern, or are you trying to be optimistic?
The resistance barrier at 25K has been tested several times, and I am sure that it is now weaker than ever, but is demand sufficient to overcome this resistance? The coming days will answer, but if we are not able to break this barrier during the next 10 days, then it is likely that we will return to test the support level at 21K.
2059  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs & their technical abilities for global transacactions on: February 21, 2023, 08:37:18 AM
We do not yet know how they think, and therefore all that we will talk about is theoretical suggestions, but from a technical point of view, it is possible, these currencies will be centralized, and therefore central bridges can be built between central banks to exchange currencies, and there will be currencies for use within the country.
Or agreeing on a unified currency used for transfers between countries and then converting that unified currency into local currencies.
The problem is, will this system be universal? In the sense of unanimity among states on it. I think this is the hardest part.
2060  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie account got a username change ! First one in my eyes on: February 21, 2023, 08:19:35 AM
Are you sure @theymos changed the username? If some members can help you to recover your account and others add you to them whitelist, maybe some accounts can change your username, especially since I remember that it is not a big problem as it was possible for all members at some point.

I wonder why there is no option to delete the account, especially for newbies.
