2101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance aml/kyc in the eu on: November 29, 2022, 11:57:46 PM
What do you mean by "as well as a letter with home address" is it that utility bill with your home address?

I recently reset my 2FA but they only require a facial scan they never ask about the utility bill or any proof of where I live.

Since you are living in EU countries with heavy AML regulation it's pretty normal.
Only P2P exchange is your best option if you don't want to do it.
2102  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Wallet will stop supporting BCH, ETC, XLM and XRP on: November 29, 2022, 11:39:55 PM
Why would they remove Bitcoin from their list? it doesn't matter how strong Bitcoin is, the reason why Coinbase exists it's because Bitcoin exists it was only made for Bitcoin.
The thing is they always do this to not support some coins obviously to take advantage and make a profit or to avoid bankruptcy.

Remember that when there is fork coins exist on Bitcoin they do not support those coins until the price of Bitcoin drops a lot before they decided to support it which is obvious they already made a profit before they send them back to their user's wallet.

So do not trust exchanges keeping your coins from exchanges are very risky having ledger device will the best choice these days.
2103  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Another One Bites The Dust - BitFront Is Shutting Down Operations. on: November 29, 2022, 11:26:48 PM
I don't know why exchanges end up bankrupt since their business only takes trading fees.
Unless some or most of the coins they listed are their own money and coins?

This is pretty normal news for Bitcoin history every bear market there is some exchanges shutting down and only well-known exchange that stay alive like Binance.
2104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core Conf File on: November 29, 2022, 07:28:42 PM
Ledger already has some guides on connecting your Bitcoin core full node to your ledger device why not read the documentation on how to set up your Bitcoin.conf file?

Here's the link below.

Based on the documentation you still need ledger live and satstack to connect it to Bitcoin core and it's currently experimental but I guess it would work.
2105  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Have anyone made 1 BTC per month in Past Times? on: November 29, 2022, 02:47:09 PM
You can even just earn it from a free faucet without mining it but I'm not lucky to earn 1BTC even in mining. if I know Bitcoin earlier maybe I can have had 1BTC but I'm sure I'll sell it after the value increase since we don't know what will be the price of Bitcoin in the future securing the profit is always the best choice.

Due to mining difficulty increase right now you can't able to make one BTC without buying massive amount of ASIC units.
Or if you are mining solo with USB stick miner you can have a chance to win a block with 6.25btc plus mining fees.
2106  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: avalon 1166pro 81th on: November 29, 2022, 02:33:18 PM
Why need a test fixture if you can able to read the API logs?

The unit seems working fine to me and you just need to have proper ventilation to take the heat out of the room and to help cool down your miner a bit.

Also, use the aging method you can find this on the FMS tool it can help to calibrate the hashboard and it can help remove the abnormal status.
2107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PYYPL virtual and plastic Mastercard on: November 29, 2022, 12:25:22 AM
You are not promoting are you sure? Why did you post it in Arabic section long time ago?

Here is the post that I'm talking about
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5407501.msg60626934#msg60626934

It is more likely you are trying to promote this website which is suspicious I never heard of this website before but I tried to search and it seems it's a well-known website and I found a youtube video about this.

Anyway, it is likely the same as paywithmoon the only difference it's a browser base and Pyypl is an app.

Did you try this on Amazon? Because Paywithmoon does not work with any Amazon service.
2108  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is mining Profitable in 2022? on: November 28, 2022, 11:53:04 AM
For now, due to the Bitcoin price drop mining is not profitable but depends on what unit/model and your power cost.

This is just the same as before someone said Bitcoin mining is dead but after the block halving miners who stay mining are making more profit than those people who just invested recently to buy miners.

The best advantage for miners while the price of Bitcoin is low is you can buy units at a very low price. You can either hold the units to resell in the future because I'm sure these units after block halving will be more expensive or either start mining today if you have pretty cheap power and stay mining then hold and wait for block halving to resell and sell your Bitcoin to fill your pocket.
2109  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: firmware with configurable frequency for antminer s9? on: November 28, 2022, 11:39:17 AM
oh I see, so instead of lowering the freq across all boards just run less of them?

You can run it without removing the other hash board but expect some wires to be melted if you run it at 120v.

And there is no problem running s9 with only one hashboard based on what I heard.

Why not adjust the working mode to try running it with 3 hashboard? If it won't fry some wires and hash board your lucky.

The latest s9 firmware has multi-option under working mode you can underclock the unit to run it at low power mode.

Or if you want to manually set the power as I said above you need to flash it with modded firmware like Braiins OS.
2110  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Reset Binance 2FA Authentication still under review? on: November 26, 2022, 11:55:58 PM
Sorry for the late update I recently decided to repair my PC to get my 2FA code.
I'm lucky that the PC still running after setting up my bios to clock down the CPU the issue is overheating it can't handle too much temp it shut down after a few minutes so after clocking it down the PC is running normally but I don't know if how long? Anyway, I just need the 2FA to Login my Binance account.
2111  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: firmware with configurable frequency for antminer s9? on: November 26, 2022, 11:43:58 PM
I never tried to run s9 miner with 120v but I heard someone can run it without a problem. You just need to remove the 2 hashboard and let it run.

Or use Braiins OS to adjust it to low power or set the wattage you want.
2112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S19 Pro pause hashing API on: November 25, 2022, 06:19:21 PM
There is a sleep mode option in the mining configuration it stops mining but the fan would still be running at low speed. So what do you want to achieve?
Do you want to automate it for solar power?

I can't seem to find an API command yet but I guess it uses Cgminer API check the APIs below

Or instead, try to check awesomeminer managing tool and I think they do have feature to auto sleep and start the miner when needed.
2113  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166pro 81th on: November 25, 2022, 05:57:35 PM
Thank you very much for your answer, a question that command for volts or power 0, hashpower, 1260 in which part controls the power on the cards or in the power supply and has aged several times and does not solve the problem

How about the aging command have you tried it? It should solve your issue or if you receive error when sending a command try to download different FMS tool from Canaan here https://canaan.io/service/447
There is one FMS tool that have aging button near diagnose button use it and let it calibrate your miner.
2114  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I want to actually mine Bitcoin (SHA256) on modern GPUs on: November 24, 2022, 11:45:56 PM
You can only get ?KH/s in sha256 algo with GPU mining I don't know what current software that supports GPU to mine Sha256 but you can try to read this thread below.

Take note this is not profitable if ever it works be ready for power consumption and possible high monthly bill.

Mining with a USB stick like Compact F is way better than mining with GPU. The advantage are low power consumption and high hash rate compare to GPU mining.
2115  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wintomato.com CONFISCATED 1.8 BTC balance (29K USD)!!!! on: November 24, 2022, 11:22:16 PM
They already have scam accusations against them and also active flags that have never been solved.
So do not expect that your issue will be solved it's sad that after you sent a KYC or documents to them they confiscated your funds without a valid reason terms and privacy policies from them can be change anytime that can be also used to fool individual users if any users withdraw a big amount? That's an obvious scam they only made their Casino to scam.

Don't ever play again at a non-reputable Casino just like this. Most of the trusted casinos here on the forum are those that have active and consistently running a campaigns and old Casinos with high trust scores.
2116  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Reset Binance 2FA Authentication still under review? on: November 24, 2022, 10:49:23 PM
I tried but it seems it's not live but a Bot automatically suggests me to a few guides.

I don't know if there are differences in accessing Binance .com and use chats support there through PC but I currently using the Phone and their app to access or to chat their support but no live support it looks like a Bot auto-suggest me some solutions.
2117  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory not getting the bitcoins on: November 24, 2022, 10:37:04 PM
If you are a newbie I suggest use another wallet than Armory because Armory requires a bit of technical background about Bitcoin nodes.
If I were you if I can normally open the Armory app backup the wallet and switch to Electrum wallet and import it there.

Electrum is a lightweight wallet that doesn't need so much data to sync, unlike Armory wallet that requires Bitcoin core full node.

Also to confirm that you receive bitcoin to your address use block explorer to check your BTC address. Here's one of the block explorers below

2118  Economy / Exchanges / Solved: Reset Binance 2FA Authentication still under review? on: November 24, 2022, 10:20:53 PM
I recently tried to reset my 2FA on Binance and verified the selfie which gives me 48 hours to review but it's almost 3 days since I didn't get a response from Binance.
All my backup is on my PC but currently, it's broken it keeps auto shut down in Windows loading and sometimes it stuck to black screen.

I usually use Binance on my phone and I accidentally cleared the Binance data because I noticed that the Binance app eating so much data above 2GB I thought Binance would let me log in again without Google authenticator and I thought email and phone number would be enough to log in again on the same device.

Does anyone here have the same issue resetting 2FA on Binance? I didn't receive any response yet and I can't log in.
2119  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166pro 81th on: November 24, 2022, 09:38:20 PM
According to your logs, the workmode is set to high performance why not change the work mode to normal so that it will run at normal speed with low temp?

If you don't know how to set it to normal mode you can find it on the pool tab under advanced configuration.

Or you can use this command to set voltage/power.

[{"command":"ascset", "parameter":"0,hashpower,1260"}]

Another suggestion to calibrate your miner I suggest try aging you can find that on the FMS tool or you can use this command below.

Code:
[{"command":"ascset", "parameter":"0,aging-set,1"}]
2120  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 821 Troubleshooting on: November 24, 2022, 12:29:00 AM
The 2nd logs show there is issue related to power under pvt_v0 to v2 it might be the power supply not giving enough power.

What pool do you mine? If it's in Nicehash most of the Canaan u its do not support Nicehash so better switch to another pool like Viabtc.

I think the guide link above is not the right troubleshooting guide but the one below should be the right guide.
