1181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I understand Bitcoin charts? on: July 14, 2023, 11:35:59 AM
If you want to learn about the charts you should learn about technical analysis.
There is a good source where to start to learn TA check this link below

It should explain all about the chart like candle sticks, indicators, patterns, etc... Once you learn them you will understand the Bitcoin Chart.
1182  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Solo Mining to my own node on: July 12, 2023, 08:52:32 PM
I don't think the above response will work but I think running BFGminer with a stratum proxy can mine you solo check this link below to get some idea
- https://github.com/raspiblitz/raspiblitz/issues/414#issuecomment-471227225

Or run your own mining pool like yiimp you can download the open-source from the link below

1183  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You are probably paying more to get your Bitcoin on: July 12, 2023, 12:35:22 PM
Binance charge 0.0005 BTC as the withdrawal fee, it's worth around $15, how it's even possible you can say Binance only charge up to $1.5?

That's no longer the case. IIRC, they lowered them right after the congestion we had because of ordinals, and now, it's sitting at 0.000025 BTC. It's possible that it's now dynamic though so they might change depending on the network's state.

I just check and yes it changes to a 0.000025 withdrawal fee

And according to them
Quote
Withdrawal rates are determined by the blockchain network and can fluctuate without notice due to factors such as network congestion.

The BTC withdrawal fee just drop 2 weeks ago according to mempool

So after the drop Binance automatically adjusted to a 0.000025 fee.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P will safe your life on: July 12, 2023, 01:41:29 AM
P2P on Binance is fake P2P hahaha. It's centralized 100%. All of your funds on Binance, even on P2P are being controlled by Binance. Once you deposit any funds in your Binance account, you already lost authority over your funds, especially Bitcoin.
How does it fake? You can talk directly to the sellers or buyers they just act as an escrow. Isn't it just a centralized P2P?

And why would you lose authority with your account? You can anytime transfer or withdraw your funds out from Binance unless you are not KYC verified.
Binance before does not have KYC they are just forced to do it due to SEC legal requirements about Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
1185  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19 Control Board on: July 12, 2023, 01:09:01 AM
I recently purchased Antminer S19 pro 110Th from 570OLLC.
Here's the link if you guys are interested:
shop.5700llc.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=68
Are you sure you purchased the s19 unit from that link?
When exactly?

Or are you just trying to promote it here just like on other forums with some other newbie alt accounts and trying to promote it with fake/sweet words?

I'm talking about this forum as you can see all responses came from newbies so it's very risky to buy on this site.
1186  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9i - i managed to brick it on: July 12, 2023, 12:34:42 AM

Thankyou for the SIMPLE but very useful heads up

I seem to have now identified the board causing issue , not sure if i will have ability to repair however
the unit is now running 3 hours without a " FULL ON FAN " issue

( and yes i installed braiins as i need ability to reduce power ( on dark rainy days ) , but increase power on really sunny bright
days as im running these units off of solar

Since the miner is running on solar power what I think is there is a possibility that your power source is not stable or low this can lead to many issues like overheating or like your current issue related to temp error.

I suggest better monitor the power source if the voltage sometimes drops below 220v you can read more here "Read Temp Sensor Failed"
1187  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Chip running hot on Avalon 1166 Pro 81TH on: July 11, 2023, 11:56:23 PM

If anyone knows the solution then please let me know

Have you tried to exhaust the hot air from your miner or the room is closed?
If it closed room without exhausting the hot air out properly then the hot air just circulates inside the room which can lead to this miner being very hot.

You better do some ways to cool down the miner a bit by running the miner at normal mode instead of high-performance mode.
Try to clean and remove dust from the miner it also helps to cool the miner a bit.
1188  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Blockchaininfo API issue on: July 10, 2023, 11:52:37 PM
Are you running a VPN while using Electrum?

If it happens just 2 days ago the reason might be due to a recent cloud flare issue if I'm right that blockchain.info use Cloudflare.

There is someone on the Cloudflare forum who experience issue while using the blockchain.info API below since CloudFlare become aggressive recently after maintenance this might be the cause why BTC/USD is not changing normally.

1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P will safe your life on: July 10, 2023, 11:31:19 PM

I agree, P2P on Binance is not strictly a peer-to-peer transaction, you are right to call it semi-P2P because of third-party interference. If the transaction is in dispute, the assets of both parties will be locked immediately.
I don't think it should be called semi-P2P it would be more fit if we call it centralized P2P because Binance act as escrow and it requires KYC when using their service unlike other decentralized P2P exchange that does not need KYC like Bisq but take note Bisq also escrow sellers funds they act the same as Binance but without KYC anytime both parties can dispute a transaction.
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: ThreadRPCServer incorrect password attempt from 127.0.0.1:<port> on: July 10, 2023, 11:05:04 PM
It worked, without setting any RPC login details.

Anyway, what about my main question?
I don't know what's the cause of why it isn't working on FBBE without an RPC login but based on the error it requires RPC credentials.

If the BTC RPC explorer worked then why not use that instead of FBBE?
Or I think bring your issue directly to their issue page below the developer might be able to help you

1191  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are "we" decide who's gonna be on DT list? on: July 10, 2023, 06:38:39 PM

1192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: create PGP key pair from Seed Words on: July 10, 2023, 12:11:43 PM
Are you planning to encrypt the backup 12 words seed using the PGP tool?

Tails OS already has a PGP tool where you can encrypt your backup seed?

I would suggest check this video on how to encrypt a message or just paste your backup seed inside to encrypt using the PGP tool.

Does it look like you are using a coldcard wallet that supports BIP85?
1193  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9i - i managed to brick it on: July 10, 2023, 11:13:28 AM
is this a clue ?

2023-07-10T08:57:53.796686Z ERROR bosminer_hal::sensor: Sensor hb7[ii_hwmon::tmp451::TMP451]: read failed: I2C error: general error I2C controller keeps reading wrong address/register
2023-07-10T08:57:53.796753Z ERROR bosminer_hal::sensor: Sensor hb7[ii_hwmon::tmp451::TMP451]: Too many sensor errors, disabling sensor

It seems you switch to Braiins OS, according to that logs TMP451 fail to read the temp which might be the reason why the fans is forced to run at full speed.

You need to find which hashboard that causes this issue and fix the issue by resoldering the chip temp sensor or replace it.

There is no clue which hashboard that caused this error you can run them one by one to find the hashboard with a faulty temp chip.
1194  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9i - i managed to brick it on: July 09, 2023, 10:58:41 PM

still have fan probs though

I don't see any fan issue on that logs it only shows the fan speed according to the temp of the unit.

Since you flash the unit just recently I suggest do a hard reset first to refresh the whole unit before you try to run and test again.
1195  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: S9i - i managed to brick it on: July 09, 2023, 03:11:17 PM

moved position of jumper ** , this time life however red/green lights permanently on , no blinking

waited at least 3-5  mins each time

You have to wait at least 15 mins and if still doesn't work nothing changes on your miner's firmware try the exact firmware from Bitmain below

Click the drop-down arrow and look for the exact model because the link provided above is for t9 so try the s9i under the tf card service pack
1196  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S19J Pro+ 120TH abnormal in Low Power Mode on: July 09, 2023, 02:53:16 PM
When ever i try to post the code i get "500 Internal Server Error", tried new browser, new computer, new account etc can i upload it as a file or something?

There might something happen on the forum recently the forum is not accessible it might be due to Cloudflare undergoing maintenance.

If you want to share the kernel logs I suggest paste it to pastebin.com and share the link here
1197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I confirmed transactions by running a full node? on: July 08, 2023, 11:58:34 PM
I wondered if anyone running a full node can confirm any Bitcoin transaction in a block even if they do not receive the gas fee? Is it necessary for the transaction to be confirmed by a miner?

It seems you are comparing both Bitcoin and Ethereum since you mention gas fees.
In ETH you can stake to become a validator and earn rewards while in Bitcoin full node even if you don't stake it can validate transactions but it can't confirm a transaction without a miner. Only miners who can solve blocks and get rewarded but only pool operators can choose what transactions they are going to include on the block they mine.
Once a block solve where your transaction is included a full node will validate it if they follow the consensus rules and then include it in the blockchain.
1198  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S9 various errors on: July 08, 2023, 11:29:25 PM
What is the income of investing in Bitcoin mining now?

It's all depends on the power rate I suggest use some tools to calculate your profit with the current difficulty, power rate and hardware cost.

Check this https://www.mycryptobuddy.com/BitcoinMiningCalculator

Or use https://www.asicminervalue.com/
Just make sure to edit the electricity cost on the top.
1199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 08, 2023, 11:02:54 PM
The bot is way better than copy trading if you know what strategy you can set up on the bot but if you are a newbie using a bot is very risky if you don't know any strategy. So better learn to trade first before going to use trading bots I have the best source where to learn.

Check this source https://github.com/SpiralDevelopment/Awesome-Crypto-Trading
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: ThreadRPCServer incorrect password attempt from 127.0.0.1:<port> on: July 08, 2023, 05:45:45 PM

The application is FBBE.
Seems RPC auth was not requested... or in your opinion was implied by author?
I never heard of this FBBE and I tried to check the GitHub page and codes I can't seems to find where you can edit RPC configuration unlike other Block explorer out there that has .env file where you can configure RPCuser/password.

Why not use another explorer like BTC RPC Explorer? There is a guide here that you can follow.
