2121  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-20] Google Introduces Bitcoin Symbol on iOS Keyboards on: February 21, 2019, 04:39:58 PM
Google’s decision to incorporate the cryptocurrency symbol in its keyboard might be Google’s second step towards considering Bitcoin a mainstream currency.
Isn't it a little bit farfetched? It's just a keyboard character and I don't think it somehow remotely connected for the next steps of Google accepting Bitcoin, not even all the Gboard iPhone users have it. The only thing that I can consider a big move done by Google for the whole industry is how they quickly remove their ad prohibition for crypto related products, and that move is still far on what Google's real plans are for the industry. Not unless they have real actions on the industry we cannot really consider little things like this as connected to actual plan.
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: Public Benefit Corporations on: February 21, 2019, 03:43:56 PM
I don't know if all countries have a "public benefit" requirement for their country but I know our laws are strict enough that on either way the rest of the citizens gets to benefit something out from both domestic and foreign corporations running in their country. For example taxes are set which in now way they can escape without paying, having corporations will also produce job availability for that country which would boost the economy, and of course if they do want to get less taxes corporations usually donate money in form of charity in order to lessen their burden.

Aside from the economical standpoint there are also laws that limit on what they can do and also require them on what they should do. For instance some countries require car manufacturers to have their cars at a EURO 4/5 standard which is good standard if you want the cars running in your country with less emissions.
2123  Other / Meta / Re: I got banned... Can i get a ban for just one message or was this mistake? on: February 21, 2019, 02:59:07 PM
@YOSHIE, So putting copied text in quotes and mentioning the source doesn't help my case either? Nice to know.
I don't want to quote the Wikipedia's definition of plagiarism, because of getting banned of plagiarism in here, but i don't think that that definition applies.
Putting it in quotes is acceptable but just like what bill gator said its not enough to put quotation marks in your post without even mentioning the source. But don't mind what YOSHIE has said I think Mr. Big's quoted posts from you and the other member is the reason why you got banned, he might be the forum moderator who spotted your plagiarized post.
2124  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Banking and Merchant Services - Partners Needed on: February 20, 2019, 06:05:23 PM
I see that you are also connected to Linkedin (If this is your company account) it would be better if you add some details in your page that you are looking for a investor in your company, you will have more success there in finding one. Because in the Project Development section mostly users who are "interested" are newbie ranking members who doesn't have any proven background yet, so transacting with them is highly discouraged as they will most likely scam you.
2125  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 20, 2019, 03:59:55 PM
Lol, as he is a Filipino

Massive concentration of liars, scammers and people lacking intelligence.

Enjoy.
Says the guy who got several negative feedbacks already.

Well Shitbet got 8x worse rep, and now your licking your own piss.
I tagged them from what they did and I changed it to neutral as the issue has now been resolved. I don't know where you got your shitty theory but Swofty admitted it himself that it was entirely his fault for the delay and that he have received his 330 BTC winning.

I don't mind idiots giving me bad rep, cause I know it's from idiots.

Idiots = 0 IQ = 0 worth opinion

Btw here you go, enjoy lol
The "idiots" you are calling are trusted members here in the community, they don't earn the reputation of being a DT from being a scammer and spammer like you. If there is an idiot here in the forum it is you as you are just a low life member here trying to scam people in order for you to earn money, which by the way you have failed from doing.
2126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: February 20, 2019, 02:59:41 PM
I have removed my red trust on Cloudbet as I do think they don't deserve to to be tagged from the Swofty's mistakes as its the reason why it got hold for a long time in the first place. However I made my feedback to neutral to keep it as a reminder to members here in the forum.

Lol, as he is a Filipino

Massive concentration of liars, scammers and people lacking intelligence.

Enjoy.

2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC on ESPN 1: Ngannou vs Velasquez Prediction and Info Thread on: February 19, 2019, 09:10:53 PM
Ngannou beats Velasquez in 25 secs. Velasquez leg slipped and his knee gave out. Thats just hard luck for him for that to happen so early into the match. Was pretty much a flawless victory for Ngannou. He might be ready to fight again next week..by the looks of things lol. Hope the future hall of fame star Velasques looked just fine during the end at the interview. Hopefully we get to see him fight again soon.
I have the same thought as you that Cain Velasquez unluckily slipped that made him lose the fight on but after watching the replay over and over again I saw that Ngannou landed several punches in his head when he was pushed to the corner and that I think made him unconscious for a second which made his legs slip. Also Jason Herzog gave Cain time to recover but he had not chance to do so when he chose to turn his back on Ngannou. And it seems like I was right with my prediction on choosing Ngannou in this fight.

Let's not forget that Francis Ngannou knock the hell out of Alistair Overeem's chin with his uppercut in the first two minutes of the first round. All of his wins are either via KO or submission during the first or second round and all his losses came from UDs which means that this guy is really a hunter and he would do whatever is takes to finish the fight early. I don't think that Cain Velasquez could handle him pretty well specially that he is coming out from retirement,  we really don't know what his fight conditions are if he has the stamina to keep up with Ngannou.
2128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scam Bitcointalk Sites Be Safe !!! on: February 19, 2019, 08:45:30 PM
Worst part of the .to site was that the URLs for threads and such were exactly the same IIRC except for the fact that the prefix was bitcointalk. to/index.php instead of bitcointalk. org/index.php there wasn't any significant difference between this site and the fake one on the surface except for the URL.
Visited the website myself when LoyceV have posted this phishing site, I even posted my observations in the thread on how I noticed it was fake. The first thing I notice was when I am going to the .to website it will instantly redirect me to satoshi's post and tried entering fake log-in usernames and password it will only refresh itself, I don't know if they are receiving what we inputted but the BCT copy isn't really working if you tested it out.
2129  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Blockchain.io domain owner fights back against Blockchain.com on: February 19, 2019, 07:04:21 PM
But just claiming a similar name which is owned by other entity makes no sense as they can just buy it by offering a good price to the current owner if they want to protect there branding this much.
Yes a lot of big corporations just buy it outright without filing any lawsuits that's if the opposing business accepted to be bought out, blockchain.io might have refused to sell and rebrand their business but its most likely that blockchain.com is going to this route because they are confident on winning the case and the biggest benefit from that is they will officially have a legal claim on the word "Blockchain" itself, a very risky move but it will payoff if given a positive result. And yeah let us not forget that Bitcoin is a trademarked name already by some London-based company.
2130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is currently in an uptrend reversal. on: February 19, 2019, 05:28:14 PM
Right now I can confirm that we are on a short term reversal as we are currently $550+ up from its present lowest point. The only problem is to confirm that we are really on a up trend we must see Bitcoin breaking major resistances above 4,000$, the nearest resistances we have is the 4,000$ and 4,200$ level which if broken we might see Bitcoin enter another consolidation level that's if we fail to go above 5,000$. Happy to see Bitcoin have a big move like this and I hope this is not just one of those price rallies happening in the bear market.
2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google keyboard enables Bitcoin symbol on iOS on: February 19, 2019, 04:42:55 PM
Is this some kind of prank of Google? I don't know any Iphone users (who are my friends) personally who downloads a 3rd party keyboard on their phones let alone it being a Google Product, so why bother adding a BTC sign when your loyal Android users don't receive it on their stock keyboards? This might be some kind of experiment for Google but I don't see why they just limit it for Apple products. Not even all Iphone users receive it on their Gboards as based on the Reddit article users in Europe didn't received it in their app.
2132  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Beware] Ongoing Electrum Phishing Attempt on: February 19, 2019, 11:56:30 AM
Here is the message being broadcasted to the older versions of Electrum:

I found this on the issues tab of Electrum in Github, and it looks like users using an older version of Electrum who are trying to send Bitcoin will receive this message at the same time their transaction won't be created. Electrum has been in similar attacks with their software before but this one is unique on how they try to infiltrate their users, the good thing is Electrum is quick to act and I know see on their website that they have announced the current situation.
2133  Economy / Reputation / Re: Need community opinion regarding negative feedback. on: February 18, 2019, 06:54:51 PM
Created an account in 2014 ===> 5 years after ===> created his first post on an unknown "Swiss Miner" praising "Bulgarians are very good at maths and informatics" saying that he won't be surprised if it was real ===> after that he kept repeating in the his other post that he is not endorsing their product.

In my opinion he just got in the wrong foot with what he said in his first post but I don't think he should be tagged for shilling but he should be tagged for being inactive for such a long time. This account might be stolen or bought so the one posting might not be the original owner anymore.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2019, 05:14:30 PM
Some rumors swirling that Chelsea wants Zidane to replace Sarri at the end of the season.  But Zidane wants 200m GBP for transfers and Hazard be given a new contract.  Rofl.  I guess that's his way of saying that it's a no then?  Grin
That 200 Million transfer budget is achievable not by their starting budget but through selling players. Although Chelsea is known to be a big spender they haven't gone far to have a starting budget that big, but if he means offloading existing players then he can get what he wants to spend in the transfer window. Selling 4 or 5 players he see unfit for the team might give him the wiggle room he is looking for, now it will be up to him and the owners on who those players will be, this move might also anger the fans but if they sign the players they want to I know that he will be changing their minds about it.
2135  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-15]Coinbase Users Can Now Backup Private Keys on: February 18, 2019, 04:08:52 PM
-snip-
How many users do you reckon would use the same password for their email and their Coinbase wallet (and everything else, for that matter)?
I'm not saying that they do have the same password for their email and Coinbase account. But storing it in a cloud which has the same log-in credentials as your email is something to be a concern of, so nobody will focus on looking for what your password for Coinbase is as they will have easy access for your private keys in your cloud storage. I don't know how they will store your private keys in the cloud storage but I do think it's much safer if they use a private cloud storage of their own.
2136  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-15]Coinbase Users Can Now Backup Private Keys on: February 17, 2019, 05:33:43 PM
In terms of convenience in mind Coinbase did make it easier to obtain the Private Keys, but the problem is it made it easier for other unintended people to get your private keys. Both Google and Apple cloud storages are connected to your email and emails are the most vulnerable to hacks so depending how smart the hacker is he/she may know where to look for those private keys. Of course chances will increase after them seeing your emails that you do have a Coinbase account or any kind of financial account for that matter as they will know where to look out from the start.
2137  Other / Meta / Re: How can we take Bitcoin Talk back into the Bitcoin community? on: February 17, 2019, 04:14:12 PM
I don't think Bitcointalk as a forum could regain something back to the way it was 10 years ago, by now Bitcointalk will be competing a lot of websites for its members. We have users who are loyal to specific Facebook groups, Subreddit pages, Telegram/Discord Channels, and of course other crypto-focused forums as well. To top it off not all people at this day in age are into forum like interactions, I don't know but I myself is not comfortable on using other forums because of their layout, luckily BCT is not one of them.
2138  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcolumnist - Distraction-Free Crypto News Aggregator (Available for Android) on: February 17, 2019, 02:59:53 PM
What hugeblack said is right, Google doesn't have any kind of screening for apps being uploaded by people in the Playstore so there is literally no assurance for us that the app is clean or not. However I played it safe and downloaded your app from one of my factory resetted phones and all I can say is your app is nothing special, just by clicking one of your news links we are just redirected to the mobile version of the news article so I can call you app not useful as it just acts out as a browser for your website. If I am a reader of your website I would just be going to the mobile version of your website and not download your app.
2139  Economy / Economics / Re: JPM Coin, the JP Morgan coin on: February 17, 2019, 09:30:11 AM
It's just what big corporations do to maximize their revenue just like how banks charge us just by withdrawing our money in the ATM for "convenience". For JPMorgan the JPM coin will be there biggest excuse on how their clients would forcefully need to buy this coins in order to transact with them in some certain areas, of course the coin itself has not benefits but they will cloud the thought saying it will be much more reliable and fast. Of course JPMorgan is also just doing this to show to us in the crypto community that they themselves can mock the whole industry with their worthless coin.
2140  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] s4fe.world client contains ransomware/adware on: February 16, 2019, 06:41:28 PM
Tagged him as well, I got confused early on as I have read his scam accusation against you first before reading yours. Although right away I know from the start that it was fake as his accusations don't have any proof and his account has a -4/+0 on it (before I added another one) so I know this was just a retaliation against what you did to his account. Thank you for the warning.
