I have a dilemma. Is it appropriate to report shitposts in a literal shitcoin thread?
2142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: November 04, 2021, 03:47:12 PM
I'm noticing ACTIVE/INACTIVE/BANNED status is not working for me in Chrome but can't figure out why... Huh

It should be working. Do you have the "banned/inactive/archived" option enabled in the settings?

If it still doesn't work give me an example of a user profile that is not showing correctly.
2143  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: November 04, 2021, 01:14:45 PM
I see now. Good article below sums it all up. Essentially:

the nine-member jury found that none of the four crypto products at issue in the case was a security, so Fraser could not be liable for securities fraud.

https://www.reuters.com/legal/transactional/apparent-first-conn-class-action-jury-finds-crypto-products-are-not-securities-2021-11-03/

Genius move by Homero to dress the hashlets up in PNGs and add rocket boosts and all that shit... turns out that makes nine random people believe that they have control over the result. Who could have thought Roll Eyes

This sounds like it should be appealed.

Edit - just to clarify for anyone who may not remember how this worked: there were no "mining pools" like the Reuters article claims, the whole thing was fake AF. So at best you had 4 or 5 different securities (fake "pools") that you could switch between (and even then only one hashlet type allowed switching; others were locked into one "pool"), but the results had fuck all to do with user's actions. That's like saying your ability to trade stocks at a brokerage makes them not a security because your decisions affect your profits.

Someone really messed up those jury instructions or the jurors are as dumb as a bag with nine rocks in it.
2144  Economy / Lending / Re: Small loan needed 1 week colatterall provided with 25% interest payback . on: November 04, 2021, 11:59:15 AM
So if 15% is not enough

So that's like $6 in "collateral"? No one will bother with an amount that will be wasted on TX fees. And sure as shit you won't bother to come back with your newbie account to give $50 for a useless dust faucet account and/or useless $6 worth of points.

Because idk if I am plumb stupid ,but I don't think I would need the loan if I had a matching amount of what I am trying to borrow .. dies that make sense?

You the one asking for a loan so you tell us. How do you expect this to work? What is the lender going to do if you disappear with the $40?

Zero evidence -> zero value -> trashcan. It really is that simple, and doesn't violate anyone's free speech rights. Just need someone with a backbone to do it, like it was done with that shitface who was accusing theymos of scamming.
Nobody has the right of free speech here.  Theymos has been very good about letting members express all sorts of things without fear of being moderated into silence, but this forum doesn't abide by the US constitution.  Other than that part of your post, I agree with your assessment of ArcusIsidar's garbage thread.

Well I'll be damned... the thread is gone and it looks like Rambotnic's copper sock is on mandatory vacation. I wonder if my "zero value" report worked or mods just got tired of moving the thread around but whatever it was, good riddance.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: November 03, 2021, 11:45:47 PM
Why did this thread get unpinned? Now I'll have to keep bumping it like a real shitcoiner.
2147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Annihilating Parasites Cured Me From Being Gay on: November 03, 2021, 06:09:43 PM
If this is a true story then the Turpentine will be out of stock from all the stores and markets.

Why?

This didn't age well:

#Packers QB Jordan Love, who the team drafted in the first round, will start against the #Chiefs. Rodgers out with COVID.

That's a shame. We'll never know if Patrick Price or Rodgers Rate is better.

Also this is a bit of a headscratcher:

Quote
Despite telling reporters in August he'd "been immunized," Rodgers is not vaccinated against COVID-19

2149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: $300 loan to help me get started on: November 03, 2021, 02:44:46 PM
A little too inappropriate. Sorry didn't realize I was speaking to a mod. The total value of the sites are 1-2k, if anybody wants to message me I can show you the domains and give you screenshots of traffic.

I'm not a mod. Your "loan" request looks extremely sketchy. Red flags:

  • Newbie asking for $300.
  • To buy a shitcoin that will certainly definitely go up.
  • Reversible "collateral".
  • Have to take your word on the value of said collateral.

Just one of these would be enough to avoid this.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: $300 loan to help me get started on: November 03, 2021, 01:51:18 PM
Sorry don't know what's wrong with you. My first thread I was only asking $5. And I think the collateral im offering is plenty good enough.

Post the domains you're selling.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: $300 loan to help me get started on: November 03, 2021, 01:07:35 PM
Quit spamming this board with your stupid domain sales. Your first thread that got deleted should have been a hint. No one will give you money here.

Its over!  Stuart won!  Can't believe that shit.

Let's face it, this was a long shot. Stu is dumb as a rock but he's got money and good lawyers and being dumb is not really a crime. The real shame is that Homero is out of the prison and found Jesus and drives a Porsche like nothing happened while people (well, abject idiots but still) who lost their money to his scam got nothing back. Isn't he supposed to repay like $10m? I wonder how that's coming.
2154  Economy / Reputation / Re: Give me time on: November 02, 2021, 11:31:09 PM
You locked one thread and opened another with some salad of quotes that seems to amount to troll-feeding.

You don't need multiple threads, or maybe any threads for this.
2155  Other / Meta / Re: Some members are more priviledged than others? on: November 02, 2021, 10:13:14 PM
Moving the thread is in itself an act of moderation

Yeah "scams are not moderated" shouldn't mean scammers are allowed to break all other rules with impunity but unfortunately that's where we're headed with the help of all those shitpuppeting scam apologists.
2156  Other / Meta / Re: Some members are more priviledged than others? on: November 02, 2021, 08:48:28 PM
Let me guess, escrow scammer is defending marktplace scammers because nutildah is the common enemy.

BTW that ArcusIsidar nonsense should be nuked for trolling / zero value, not merely moved around, but he's now an untouchable poster boy for affirmative action towards spammers, scammers, and other morons.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 02, 2021, 06:39:12 PM
It's official, bookies hate Packers. I could understand Cardinals odds but why are Chiefs the favorites now is a mystery to me.
2158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 02, 2021, 02:52:02 PM
My condolences to whomever in your guys league has Derrick Henry.  Sitting at my work desk yesterday morning and having breaking news pop up on my screen was like being stabbed in the heart lol.  Okay maybe not that extreme but that's a death blow essentially for someone in a 12 man team.  My team was stacked but a bit short on RBs, now this kills me.  Also lost Calvin Ridley over the weekend and that quite hurts too  Cry

It's fine, just grab Adrian Peterson. At this rate maybe OJ will come back too.

2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 02, 2021, 12:07:38 PM
The fix was in. Smiley

Damn that was way too close. Good game. I'm lucky to win it with so many screw ups - Edmonds/Conner/Pittman/Booker on the bench outperformed my starters, the only good choice I made was to play Goedert instead of Schultz. I did however trick you with Rams D/ST Wink

2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: November 01, 2021, 11:26:11 PM
unless Kelce goes the wrong way several times you have won this game.

Looks like the only reasonably close match for today is me vs Heuristic. Fingers crossed that Chiefs collapse again.
