2161  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHA256 Algo can reverse on: December 05, 2022, 11:40:13 PM
The question is more likely decrypting the sha256 hash no one has yet been successful to decrypt it.

Or it is more likely you sent BTC and want to reverse the transaction? but you can't able to reverse the transaction however, you can replace it.

This question if you search a little bit through Google there are many explanations about this no one has yet can able to reverse it.
2162  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin future trading on: December 05, 2022, 11:20:48 PM
I'm using Kucoin but not for future trading I only trade a few coins on their spot exchange and same here I don't have KYC verified.

I already check their faqs and search about this but nothing explains about the rate the fee structure is just likely the as Binance.
So I think like others said it would be better to bring your issue to their support or you can contact them here on the forum they have an active thread here check the link below.

2163  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 tmp451 error i2c on: December 05, 2022, 01:12:21 PM
I sent the card in question to a friend so I don't have any logs, but I update as soon as I have a new error (I have the same one on another card)

Also on another card, I have all the chips in CLK at 0.9 but the RI signal breaks level 26 25 24. And is at 0 until chip 00.

I tested the LDO, they are well at 1.8v and functional. The capacitor 330u 2.5v also functional.

Where can this come from according to you ?

On this picture you have in grreen area CLK0.9 & RI 1.8 and in RED CLK 0.9 and RI at 0v

Sorry but it's hard to troubleshoot without the hashboard on hand.
And those signals you talking about are for ASIC chip not for sensor temp.

And also, I just want to you to try, and maybe it's only a software issue like I said above try to flash the unit with stock firmware from Bitmain and then try to flash the hashboard with a hex file that came from working hashboard.
If you don't know how to flash the hashboard check this link below.

And what I'd like you to check is the temp sensor checking them visually is not enough you need a working temp sensor if you have extra hashboard you can desolder the temp sensor to replace them. This is the way how I repair replacing the sensor with a known working one is my way to test them as according to your logs it's pointing to your temp sensor.

Please read figure 19 for the schematic and how to check them I already post the zeusbtc link above.
2164  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I need to know more about security of a mining pool on: December 04, 2022, 11:57:50 PM
Thanks for your reply, so what's the normal procedure to make sure that my Asic miner is running in a secure mode?

Anything particularly to look out for? Or I shouldn't do?

Don't enable SSH and close all possible open ports so that no one can able to hack your miner.

Also, protect any device connected to the same network to avoid viruses and malware, and don't use nicehash to mine and only mine in the real pool.
2165  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Transfer bitcoins without internet on: December 04, 2022, 11:29:47 PM
Bitcoin is not the same as a grin/beam coin where you can able to send offline sending Bitcoin still needs the internet to be able to broadcast the transaction to the mainnet.

You can make transactions offline but you still need an online device to create raw unsign transaction and sign it to your offline device.
So it still needs the internet to send Bitcoin.
2166  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 tmp451 error i2c on: December 04, 2022, 10:58:46 PM
Hello again,

Sorry for the delay in answering, I was busy.

I tested all these capacitors and they output the right voltage. I tried all the chips and they are working (RI 1.8 and CLK 0.9) I can't find any burnt trace. I really don't understand where this is coming from.

I'm talking about the resistance of those capacitors near the temp sensor voltage output is different.

Would you mind to reflash your unit to stock firmware and letting it run for a while and copy the kernel logs and post it here?

If you don't have knowledge about repairing this I suggest try to contact zeusbtc and maybe they can help you with your issue

2167  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Canceling a transaction on: December 04, 2022, 02:16:44 PM
Do I always have at least 10 minutes, 3 hours or 1 day to cancel the transaction?
Can't say how much time you have to cancel a transaction.
If your transaction has been flagged as RBF, as long as it is unconfirmed, you can replace it with a new transaction paying higher fee.
It's possible that your transaction is confirmed in a few seconds. It's also possible that it stays unconfirmed even after says.
I just want to add this the confirmation time also depends on the network it is sometimes congested which leads to other transactions being stuck on the mempool that is why there is RBF to remake the transaction with a higher fee.
All transaction with high fees is always in high priority.

@sekssonikk actually in Bitcoin you can't cancel the transaction what you can only do is to make/replace another transaction with the same inputs and increase in fee.
2168  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase account Disabled to spend coin on: December 04, 2022, 01:53:49 PM
Are you using different IP and device every time you log in to your Coinbase account?

It sometimes happens to me when logging in with different devices and IPs since the mobile internet keeps changes every time you turn on and off the data.

I suggest you to try logging in with their app instead and wait for 24 hours let see if it still locked.
2169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every crypto newbies need to know this on: December 04, 2022, 01:14:49 PM
Banks have their own purpose don't compare them with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is different you can use their wallet as your own bank but the price of Bitcoin is too volatile you can't just put 50% of your funds into Bitcoin without knowing the Bitcoin history. Bitcoin is an asset it is likely the same as gold the only difference Bitcoin is too volatile.

And take note banks have their own security to protect your funds, unlike Bitcoin which depends on you how you protect your wallet.
2170  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Canceling a transaction on: December 02, 2022, 11:58:21 PM
I use a mobile app. How do I enable it there?

Electrum wallet in mobile RBF is enabled by default you don't need to change anything unless you check the final button after making a transaction.

To make this thing clear I'll add an image below to make sure you won't get lost

As you can see the final is check just uncheck it to enable RBF.
2171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have anyone made a withdrawal from IQcent? on: December 02, 2022, 11:38:15 PM

She's my friend from same community but schooling she needs money urgently just as I have explained earlier, after she tried to make withdrawal and they refused her so she then ran to me physically to view if I could render any help which I tried helping her.. I did all I could but no avail, I contacted their live chat support representative she directed me to email the financial department for faster assistance which I did the first time and I later told her to follow up their messages if they replied back.

That's pretty bad she doesn't know that the website is new and it's pretty risky to deposit any amount to a website that doesn't have any reputation yet.

Why don't you just tell her frankly that the website or trading site is a scam?
And you don't have power to retrieve them since crypto is irreversible.

Actually, I also have a friend who experience the same thing just a few months ago she told me that she had a balance/funds from a broker/trading site but he can't able to withdraw I told her after checking the website and domain age the site is new and I frankly tell her that the website is a scam. However, she doesn't believe me because YouTube gives her some proof I tried to check YouTube but all of them are fake with comments turned off. She was attracted by the free reward which is why she ended up registering and using a voucher code just to earn the reward but can't able to withdraw.

So I guess it's also happened to your friend
2172  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got hacked after downloading a file from https://multibitwallet.com on: December 02, 2022, 11:12:44 PM

Maybe he created a new wallet. The download starts if you register a new account, but the file itself does not give out a virus, although I only checked it through the https://www.virustotal.com/.

Well, it doesn't work for me maybe because of my browser protection.
And even it doesn't have any viruses when scanning with virustotal it doesn't mean it's not malware or doesn't contain any viruses the first thing that you can notice is they do asks for a seed phrase and then the password old Multibit wallet does not generate a seed phrase instead it generates anyname.wallet file. So it's obvious the owner of the site or the hacker doesn't know anything about multibit wallet.
2173  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Strategy Crypto Games w/ High Rewards on: December 02, 2022, 10:49:26 PM
There are no NFT games right now that give you big rewards but if you love a card game like splinterlands you can play on their tournaments with potentially big rewards. But this is not easy you need to have a good strategy, cards, and knowledge to be able to win in the tournament there are many smart players there but if you have good skills then you can win the game.

Sometimes the game tournament rewards are around $1,000 in Dec.
2174  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Searching for mining-site from the past, any clues? on: December 02, 2022, 07:18:00 PM
Do you think your friend can remember the design of the pool website?
It's hard to guess without more details about that pool.

Anyway, Slush pool and f2pool that I know pools launched around 2010 or 2011 but if you are looking for a list then check this below

It includes shutdown pools and maybe one of the pools listed there is the pool that your friend talking about. If it already shut down I don't know if you or your friend can still retrieve that mined coins except on pools that still operating.
2175  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Suggest me the best mining rig on my situation on: December 02, 2022, 12:31:44 PM
If you only have 1000kwh per month for Bitcoin mining you can only use S9 miner that consumed around 1400w per hour and around 1000kw in a month.

Or if you are looking for Bitcoin miner that doesn't consumed much power check USb miner like Compac F 48 pieces of them can hash around 14.4th/s with very low power consumption.
2176  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum wallet got hacked, 5 years of bitcoin gone on: December 01, 2022, 11:56:23 PM
AFAIK, most of PDF viruses did not have the ability to move between applications, and then I have not heard of any hack just because of PDF, can anyone confirm this information?! because I careless and download a lot of PDF files.

According to adobe yes it can contain viruses and malicious code that can potentially hack your device or PC.

Why not check Adobe they have their own explanation about this here below

2177  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance asking for KYC, again on: December 01, 2022, 11:43:56 PM
Then you probably didn't get that email that has been sent few days ago as they specifically mentioned EU regulation part as the reason for this new KYC.

To me, Binance didn't ask again for KYC documents except on facial scan due to 2FA reset but until now it didn't ask for another KYC.

I think the reason why it asks again for KYC verification he might be accessing Binance with different IP and device.

Or maybe it asks for KYC due to country regulations since they said all countries have different regulations so that's probably the cause.
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Raspberry Pi 4 Noob Trying for the first time to download Bitcoin Core on: December 01, 2022, 11:20:57 PM
If you are running Raspi I suggest install Bitcoin core with Snapd enabled to make bitcoin core work in Raspberry Pi.

There is a guide on Google if search it but you can check the guide below.

2179  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I got hacked after downloading a file from https://multibitwallet.com on: December 01, 2022, 10:57:14 PM
I tried to access the link you provided but when I tried to download it redirect me to the restoration page where you can put a 12-word seed and password.
Why would multibit ask for a seed phrase and password?
I tried to put the seed phrase and password but when trying to click download nothings happen so how did you download the malware?

And look it's obvious it's fake because it asks for a seed phrase and password in an unsecured way.
2180  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S9 tmp451 error i2c on: December 01, 2022, 09:26:57 PM
That is not the capacitors that im talking about the ceramic one brown color it looks like this below.

So the previous owner did broke the hashboard by leaving it without a fan that can cause burn parts.

Also check the guides here https://www.zeusbtc.com/manuals/Antminer-S9-Hash-Board-Repair-Guide.asp
