2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 21, 2022, 11:24:52 AM
If he will win, the call for another rematch might take place and that will bring them more money.

I see your point, the call for Lara is not that important and with his age he might rather to pick fight/s that will bring him
more and lesser with interest with another belt.

Though we don't know what is inside his mind right after the fight, but at this moment, for sure he's more on winning
the fight against Alvarez.

I am not sure whether there will be a quadrilogy/tetralogy fight between Golovkin and Canelo sometime in the future, irrespective of who wins on September. Any such fight will take another year or two at least, and by that time Golovkin might be retired. I don't see him taking part in these sort of high profile fights after 40 years (his current age). There is a very good chance of Golovkin announcing his retirement sometime this year, or by next year. A KO defeat against Canelo would probably accelerate that decision.
And from what I read both of them agreed that this is going to be the final fight between the two. Specially for GGG that as you have said will be above 40 years old if they decided to a 4th fight so it will not be good for Canelo if ever he wins because his critics will said that he beat a wash up and over the hill version of GGG. So this is the final fight and whoever wins will close the book between this two great boxers.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 21, 2022, 10:32:42 AM
Quite worthy of each other rivals, I hope Teofimo will not lose his speed by moving to a heavier weight category and will be able to perform a dance and do his flip after a successful fight, the most important thing is not to forget that Campa is also dangerous at close range.
I more concern about the power though, Teofimo at 135 lbs is known to be a puncher, not a fast boxer. But as he moves to a heavier weight, we will see if he can bring that power to 140 lbs.

Yes, Campa might be dangerous, but I think Lopez will win here. Probably it will be by knock out, if if Campa is really tough he might gave Lopez all he can handle but still squeaking a tight unanimous decision from the judges.

Yes, he is still a dangerous fighter that's why Lopez has to work hard to win here. Tampa had only 1 loss in his career (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/578516), but has not fought a boxer like Teofimo Lopez, so this is a good match up and I like to see a KO here.

Lopez really has to work his stamina out though we all know that he's too consistent during his previous fights.
Tampa is aggressive and seems to be ready for every match. I guess this is a perfect match and this fight will be another remarkable match this year. I still put my hope for Lopez though.
Of course, if he didn't train that hard Campa might pull upset again on Teo Lopez and he doesn't want that to happen. So he knows that a lot is at stake at this match and we could say that if Lopez losses this one, if might be hard for him to come back and bring they hype that once he has. So he needs to win this one and I believed he can pull it off and bring his name to the attention of this weight class.
2163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to find a Tron script developper ? on: July 21, 2022, 09:45:59 AM
I am setting up a small local exchange and need a Tron Script developper for multisig Tron addresses, where to find a good one ?
Maybe you can post it here:

But just be careful though, maybe you will received a lot of PM's specially from newbies. My advise is to filter everyone out before you hire someone to work and be sure they all have the background otherwise you might get someone very cheap but the product might not be good. Best of luck!!!
2164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 30k Range again on: July 21, 2022, 09:14:44 AM
The last 3 days make us optimistic that bitcoin will soon rise again, an increase of more than 15% in 3 days creates more opportunities to continue to rise and I'm also optimistic that July will return to the $30k range, now focus and keep buying so you don't regret it when the price is back to $30k.
If I'm not mistaken, we almost hit $24k or hit it already, but then again the market is suffering another down side as it is close to $23k or even lower.

And it's good to see this thread again, however, there are still a lot of psychological barriers that we need to conquer next specially $28k . So it will take a lot of money again and we don't know where it will be coming as the world is on the recession and investors are not very keen on investing on any, not just crypto market.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2022, 08:38:10 AM
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34273332/sources-james-harden-philadelphia-76ers-agree-two-year-686-million-deal

It's official Harden inked for another 2 years restructuring his contract.  He has made his dough and people saying he is sacrificing for the team, didn't he only have 1 year left anyway so now he locks in for 2 more years with the sixers.  I get it he lowered his per year but avoids dealing with free agency and still banking 66 mil over 2 years.  All the while staying in his preferred city.
I thought it was going to be below $20m but I guess that will be too savage.  Grin
Thanks for the update.
From $47.4M with a player option to $33M. $14.4 will give a lot of room for the 76ers cap space to hire another roleplayer that will help them go back to the ECF or better the Finals.
If ever they will reach ECF this season and fail the Finals, I think Harden will stay even if he will become a free agent the next. That just means something, his plan worked and the better decision would be to stay and try again.
Perhaps that is the lowest that Harden is willing to accept. But that's a lot of money to sign players already which they did already. I agree, if ever they reach that far, for sure Harden will try to make one more run and see if he can finally put a ring on his finger. But if worst things happen, I mean like they totally break upon in the season, for sure we will see another history of trade request from him.
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 20, 2022, 11:36:27 AM
@Trofo why would the Ukraine player’s even consider this, and to be honest it’s a blatant PR attempt to get some sympathy because deep down even he knew that this idea would never work out. Also let’s say that hypothetically he applied for a change of citizenship which country would accept it?, because currently no country would like to associate with Russians, hence I feel that he would have had a hard time finding a county that’s willing to accept his request.
For the first part, I am also thinking no Ukrainian player would agree to that.

Regarding nationality, I am not sure for his particular case but majority of top tennis players have Monaco, or some similar tax paradise, stated as their address. Most countries award nationality if individual lives there 5 years or more. I sort of assumed he has some option like that or some other connection like one of his parents is from some other country. Then he just has to apply and that is it.
Not sure if this is a good idea as well, regardless, you can see the some players just wanted to go on with their careers unfortunately this war really took a toll of them.

But what if the tournaments knows that they just change their nationality just to be able to play? Will tey allow it or not? because it seems that this players are exploiting the loophole and for sure once the war is over, they could just go back to their old nationality.
2167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 20, 2022, 10:48:30 AM
Nah, he has 3 belts right now, he can just give up or being stripped of the WBA for all he care. And I agree that his boxing bodies has so many belts, they they will have to force their champion. They allow GGG to go up to 168 lbs without stripping him. But they should know that mandating him to fight Lara just right after his fight with Canelo is not good for the boxers. So for sure, GGG would rather be strip of his WBA belt that force to fight Lara in just 3 months after his fight with Canelo.

Agreed. At this age, I don't think that Golovkin cares about the WBA title. In case he loses the fight against Canelo, then he will have 4 months to move from 168 pounds to 160. I don't think that it is possible without having a negative impact on the body and therefore in all probability Golovkin will forfeit the WBA title. In that case will Erislandy Lara be declared as the WBA champion without a fight? Or do he need to fight against the player who is ranked next? Anyway Golovkin will continue to be the IBF/IBO middleweight champion.
I will speculate that Lara will be elevated to the regular champion status by WBA. And if GGG is ready maybe next year then he can fight Lara but not right after his Canelo fight. He needs to take a break as well as you have said. If WBA is not keen on that, then Lara as champion will have his mandatory against the top fighters in the WBA ranking. And I think the IBF/IBO might be willing to give GGG more leeway as compare to WBA so he might retain that title after the fight.
2168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: News about the Merge pushed ETH to $1,400 on: July 20, 2022, 10:01:35 AM
Over the weekend the price of Ether was trading in the green, extending a rise that began following the reveal of the schedule for the Ethereum blockchain's shift from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake.
Ether has seen more than a 40% rise in recent days, a move that has taken it above $1,400 for the first time since early June.
That is also reflected in trading volumes, which have reached record levels. But for many in the crypto community, a key question remains: what happens now? Will ether keep its momentum, and is that the right call? While the answer will depend on the short-term price movements, the current bear trend is likely to continue.
Check out our newsletter at https://ambire-newsletter.beehiiv.com/

Looks like their developments are quite popular among the investors that's why they gained such an increase in just a short period of time. Ethereum is known to be one of the game changers whenever they released new updates because, unlike other projects, Ethereum will gonna make it true once they release a statement regarding their development the same goes for the new updates, the shift from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake. Furthermore, they are one of the long-living altcoins you could put your trust in because they don't cease doing new developments to improve their service.
There has been so much upgrades on Ethereum for the last 2 years that it's obvious that investors are pouring in their money on it. However, since we are in a bear market, this development are not magnified. It's that that the rest of the crytpo market now are n a upswing and thank to bitcoin moving to $23k that's why it bring it with him other altcoins such as Ethereum. But nevertheless, there are no assurance that the price increase will continue.
2169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Short Term Bitcoin Targets on: July 20, 2022, 09:28:34 AM
The thing is that the price seems to be going down in the last week or so because of the bitcoin future contracts, and if I'm not mistaken, this is every last Friday of the month.

So I'm expecting that the  price is somewhat going down on or before that Friday as the call buyers are obviously bearish on the market. Not sure though how many open call and open put positions are there, perhaps I need to look at deribit. But I would rather say it's better to not anticipated that $29k surge, just saying.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 20, 2022, 08:46:19 AM
Luck is really on their DNA, I mean during Chinese new year, they have fire crackers to wad off unlucky spirits. So that is gambling for them, in their tradition and wherever to go, North America or Chinese Asia, still the same as far as luck and gambling goes. So probably there is some truth that they are going to try everything to test out their luck and whatever it bring them good fortunes or not.
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2022, 08:03:33 AM
^^ I just Harden understand now that he can't be just the James that used to play as a Rocket with the Sixers. He needs to adjust him game, he can still get good numbers and production, but we should focus more on how he is going to help his team positively and let Joel lead and him as the second best option. And he should move away from his Nets performance. Brooklyn is now disbanding as well with Kryie and KD might be leaving soon. So Harden is now a Sixers and make it point as his priority to contribute and not choke as he usually does.

2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 15, 2022, 10:33:33 AM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
Of course since they are cheap, you can get 10x or higher with altcoins. Problem is which altcoin? as most of them are just meme or shitcoin so it's really hard to pick which one, it's like looking a needle in a haystack. And I would say that you have some element of luck too to be able to invest early on this good and solid altcoins and then make money out of it, in the future. So yeah it could be true, but it's not that easy. So for me the best thing is to just invest of solid altcoins in the top 10 and then wait for the next bull run in 2024-2025.
2174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 15, 2022, 10:16:59 AM
How low would Bitcoin have to fall before it was no longer recoverable?

Price, in my opinion, would not dictate this. It would have to be something that would destroy the foundation and system on which it is built.

what you say?
I agree on certain points, yeah it could not be the price but how bitcoin and blockchain is going to be break, like quantum computer perhaps? But then again, we will also stay one step ahead of the game, for sure if there is a treat about QC, bitcoin will have to re-adjust it's cryptography.

Banning will not do it, stopping mining as well. It could be the basic foundation, but then again as a I have said, we might not see the price going to $1 because the we will make SHA256 immutable to QC attacks.
2175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 15, 2022, 09:31:04 AM

I believe PPV sharing is probably the main reason why they haven't come up with a deal yet. Spence's previous PPV buys are a little better than Crawford's. Spence also has more belts to offer in the division but Crawford is the only ATG of the two.

There's no other reasons, Crawford here has to agree with a small share because Spence will not agree with a 50/50 share.
he has more belts and he has a better PPV record in the past compared to Crawford.

We get it, Crawford is also a champion but Spence have proven enough based on the numbers he have.

However, Spence versus Crawford might be the biggest payperview revenue in the history of boxing. It might be more than the payperview numbers of Mayweather versus Pacman. It would be very stupid for Terence Crawford's team to not demand a share equal to Spence's share.

Even before, Crawford already mentioned his willingness to accept the lower share. I forgot the exact number but he did talk in public about it. 45/55 I think. And there was also another option where the winner will take a certain percentage. I think it was fair. But obviously, it's Spence that really avoided Crawford over the years.

I disagree when some people mentioned that Crawford needs Spence because of his 3 belts compared to his 1 belt. Crawford even without fighting Spence has enough credits to enter the Hall of Fame. Spence's achievements are not enough to even get a nomination in the HoF. And if we talk about the money. Crawford was already receiving a minimum of $5 million per fight when Spence was just a hundred-thousand fighter. They're both rich and can move on from fighting each other. But if Spence cared about his career achievements, if he wants to enter the Hall of Fame then he needs Crawford for a chance to become undisputed. What more advantages does Spence want against Crawford? He was scared for many years when was approached by Crawford. Did Spence get a Crawfordphobia after that incident? Now he got a chance to fight an almost 1 year inactive and older version of Crawford.

Otherwise, Crawford can just activate a WBO mandatory status in super welterweight where Jermell Charlo holds all 4 belts and the Ring belt. A chance to become a 4 division world champion, a 3 time Ring/lineal champion, and the first to become a 2 division undisputed champion (4-belt era).
I will tend to agree but this two needed each other in this era. I mean we have Pacman vs Floyd (although they fought late in their career), or other great champions in the past fighting each other not just for the belt but to become the best fighter in their generation.

So before moving to 154 lbs might be good legacy wise for Spence to beat Crawford or vice versa. This two need to dance and become the undisputed. As for who gets the more money, it seems that Spence has been arguing about it for years now maybe 60/40 or 55/45 in favor of him is not that bad.

So it means that Ayton will stay with Phoenix after-all? Things have been said and done, hopefully they can still patch up things.

However, does it mean though that Ayton could still be used as a trade bait for KD?

So the plot still thickens and everyone is waiting for any news regarding KD's request for a trade to the Suns.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Online Gambling be Banned? on: July 15, 2022, 08:47:34 AM
I don't think we will get a clear answer about this, of course we love to hear those debates, but each and everyone here have already their own conclusions (after all, we all did gamble).

Let's look at Macao for example, a country that relies solely on gambling as a means to an end. Of course, their government are going to favor gambling, whether online or offline.
2178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 14, 2022, 01:06:13 PM
This is really hard for GGG if it ends up the decision. Canelo will be aggressive here since he thinks GGG is not that capable anymore to defend his punches. He will try to score more points and will attempt to knock down GGG to make it clear that he is the winner at all of their fights.

Canelo is also known to be judge friendly if you know what I mean. The venue is also the same venue where Canelo won against GGG.

I believed GGG will upset Canelo here. I like Canelo to lose here as he's now becoming arrogant because of his achievement. I'm even happy he loses against Bivol.
I believe that GGG is good Boxing team and they have some critical knowledge which is help them to go ahead to winning. on the other hand Canelo is also a Strong team They also have a keen interest in winning. In my opinion i think GGG can win or this tournament will Drow. Because both team is strong and Here both will try hard to win
Both are great fighters, it's just that only one will win in every fight, but the most interesting fight of these two is that it's a close fight and we call it a controversial fight since not everyone are convince that Canelo really won the last fight. So we have the trilogy, it will end up the speculation, whoever wins this fight deserved some respect.
Again though, we might have to give respect to Canelo if he fought GGG or give him the trilogy and not waited for it to happen in 2022 where GGG is already 40 years old. And the first two fights are really controversial, and then there are already speculation that if this fight goes into the judges score card again just like it's two past fight, maybe GGG will get the unfavorable treatment once more.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 16 on: July 14, 2022, 12:09:23 PM
2 days more before we can see this much awaited fight and to see if Ryan Garcia has already escaped the issues in his life and that he is now back on track unlike his last fight against Tagoe where he himself admitted that his performance wasn't that impressive.

I'm looking forward that this kid, Garcia, can man up his words as he's already calling for Tank Davis next despite having an upcoming fight against Fortuna.

Yeah, saw one of his interview and again, he wants a fight with Tank Davis after that. Might be bad though because it seems that he is overlooking Fortuna, maybe he is underestimating the guy and didn't respect him? We will see if Garcia will win, or it will back fire because he seems to can't get Davis on his mouth every time he has a chance to talk to the public about his match with Fortuna.

would be a blow if garcia will lose from fortuna. he should have waited what the results of his upcoming fight before he calls another boxer to fight with. anyway, that's his challenge couple of days and we will see what he's got. if he's calling Tank Davis, i guess, i will go for Davis here. but let's see...

Obviously, everything will be put on hold if Fortuna will beat Garcia in their fight. But will Ryan allow this one to happen to him or he is just super confident to win against Javier and he thinks that this is just a normal fight for him and his hands are going to be raised.

Fight is very closed though, this weekend already. But I will rather not to put a bet on this fight. Would be better if I would just watch it and maybe see if Ryan has gotten over his mental issues and then called out Davis again after he win.

That would not happen, they will not cherry picked a fighter that will only beat them. This is not a big fight for Ryan Garcia, it's just more like he is trying to prove to his promoter that he is ready for a big fight, and the only way is winning this fight in an impressive manner.
Yeah, and hopefully Ryan will win, but there are certain cases wherein a cherry pick fighter destroys the favorite. So we will not known unless we see Ryan's performance and Fortuna if he has the tool to beat Garcia or he is just a tailor fight fighter for Ryan to destroy and show us that he is still the good fighter and that he should get a title shot ether against Devin Haney or Gervonta Davis. So he better show us something different in this fight and that might interest the champions to fight him.
2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone want to buy an old empty ethereum address? on: July 14, 2022, 11:40:18 AM
I remember back then when there was a user who is looking to buy old bitcoin addresses to claim CLAMS.

Anyhow, maybe the same here, could be airdrops as mentioned by others and to claim that, you need to have an old ETH address. So it's a win-win for those who are going to sell, those not used old addresses, and then the buyer will used it to claim airdrops but for sure he will be paying less money.
