221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best thing to do to avoid being scammed? on: April 08, 2018, 11:28:47 PM
I hate to say this, but for my 1 year in this crypto world, ive been hacked, I dont know how he get my credentials, but i think its my mistake cause i forgot to enabled the 2fa, I guess i just learned from my mistakes. But I really dont know how he get my credentials, my password was too complicated and long. Can anyone advice me whats best to avoid those scammers ?

That is very unfortunate for you. There are various ways you can get hacked like your unit has been compromised with keyloggers or malwares, you signed on a phishing site or mail. 2FA is a good defense in protecting your account, so you should always have one when it is available. Always protect you computer from malwares and viruses. Always check the site you are logging in.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest? on: April 08, 2018, 10:59:24 PM
kinda strange when investing in a volitile  market. you can spend 10,000 $ into the market in january and come out less. than what a person invested in april with 10,000 $.

It is not strange, it happens in all investments whether it is stocks, mutual fund or bitcoin. It is part of the risk you take when you invest on something. You can never know where the price is headed that is why you should always be prepare, never invest money that you cannot afford to lose.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen next? on: April 08, 2018, 02:29:47 PM
As we can see on the chart between 2013-2015 the proce dropped a lot from 1000$ to almost 400$ so thats awhat 60% drop without any major increase happening. I think the same thing is happening now, the price reached a new record at 19.000$ and after a few months it dropped to 6000$. Again thats over a 60% fall in just a few weeks and the history is repeating again. The price will surely go up in the next years but I think it will take a while until the price is going to reach again 19.000$ and after that go even higher.

That is a good idea but we cannot base everything on the hope that history will repeat itself. Past results should not be our basis in this but what is currently shaping up on bitcoin scene. Regulations, acceptance and banning of bitcoin on countries will play a lot on determining where the price will head on the future.

225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chances Bitcoin can replace fiat currency? on: April 08, 2018, 01:18:02 PM
I think there is a high chance that it will be like how credit cards are used today. It can be used on large numbers of merchants and will be normal to use, someday. But I do not think it will ever replace fiat. Governments will not allow it, at the very least. And the ease of use of fiat is there.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Crypto Currency? on: April 07, 2018, 05:06:02 PM
This is technology, so as long as it innovates, it will last long. If there is no more innovation or improvements, it will be over taken by a better technology. I am hoping cryptocurrency will last long as it is pegged as the currency of the future but nothing is certain. Let us just make the most of it right  now.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Dead Now on: April 07, 2018, 04:04:13 PM
Another FUD thread. Yes, bitcoin is dead but fortunately it have unlimited life. So every time a newbie kills bitcoin, it resurrects back.

At least know the facts OP before declaring bitcoin is dead in your thread title.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to put the tokens on the exchange? on: April 07, 2018, 02:11:52 PM
Guys is it safe to just put the purchased tokens on the exchange? cause i dont have a wallet in my android app. is it possible that it will be stolen? and claimed to be hacked? Am i doing the right way? Please can anyone help me. Thanks in advance.

I think you already know the answer, you just need confirmation.

No, it is not advisable to make exchange wallet as long term storage of your tokens or coins. If you are going to be a day trader, you need to keep your coins on the exchange wallet for ease of use. But if you are holding for long term, store it in a safe place or wallet. There are lots of kinds of wallet, not just android wallet. Find one that suits your need.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy the Dip - again... on: April 06, 2018, 08:58:14 AM
All the established crypto channels/advisers keep telling everyone to buy the dip and sell the highs. What they don't (and can't!) tell you is where those points are. I have bought the dip continuously for the last two months, and am slowly running out of money. If the dip doesn't stop dipping, I'm gonna run out of money soon. All fun and games, until the bank takes my house.

Then stop buying. They also tell you that do not invest the money that you cannot afford to lose. If your investment will cost you your house, then you are investing the wrong way. If you invest what you can afford to lose, you will not mind the dip so much. Believe in the technology behind your coin, it is the foundation that will make the price bounce back.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reward to the bounty hunter with ETH, whether to reduce the dumping price ico? on: April 05, 2018, 02:22:41 PM
The allocation of tokens for bounty campaign are normally just small part of the total supply and I do not think it will affect the value of the token. If ever all bounty hunters dump the coin and it is affected, it just shows that the token is weak. Anyway, utility token is supposed to be a long term investment since most ICO needs to develop the product first before it shows any significant growth.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell all you got NOW!!! Tomorrow will be too late! on: March 23, 2018, 06:54:24 AM

232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know before the Dump? on: February 24, 2018, 10:12:08 PM
Just sell when it goes high very very fast because normally a dump will follow. But that is still not 100% sure that it will protect your investment. There is no sure way to know when a dump is going to happen. Cryptocurrency is very volatile.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you run out of gas? Eth failed transaction question on: February 24, 2018, 01:51:21 PM
Maybe he got typo error on his gas limit. His gas price is the same with his gas limit, that is why he burnt his gas before the transactions gets accepted in the blockchain.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: better invest and hold Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: February 24, 2018, 01:36:06 PM
I am very confused with the current market, because when the price of Bitcoin down most Altcoin prices go down too, but when the price of Bitcoin increases only a few Altcoin that increases the price, but some are actually declining because the price of Bitcoin increases, so what affects the price Altcoin? and better invest in Bitcoin or Altcoin? please make your opinion and the reason.

Do not just look at the price of alts in CMC because most of them are based on bitcoin USD value. So if bitcoin value increase, even when the value of alt in satoshi remains, USD value will still increase. It becomes confusing. It is better if you check individual price of alts.

I think it is still best to invest in bitcoin, but it is never a mistake to put some money on promising tokens or altcoins. It is faster to get profits on alts because the price is still low. But I feel more secure if my money is on bitcoin. So, you balance risk and profit by yourself.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Are ETH's Biggest Competitors? on: February 24, 2018, 01:13:14 PM
I think NEM will be a good competitor of Eth one day. The number of ICOs using NEM as platform is slowly growing and the price of the token is growing as well. Some ICO under NEM was a success as well, I think that is a good indication that it well be a good competitor someday.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: February 18, 2018, 11:57:40 PM
It is your choice to fake or not. If you are heavily invested and it requires KYC, will you fake and risk your investment getting frozen or send real ID and risk getting your identity stolen? It is different for everybody but for me, I rather have my money stolen than my identity. That is why I avoid those investments with KYC or if it comes in a later stage, I avoid giving critical information.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what if altcoin or bitcoin crash? on: February 18, 2018, 11:34:35 PM
What if altcoin/btc crash? Are there possible ways to get our money back?

If it crashed or on a bear trend, it is only paper loss. You only lose money if you dump or sell it on a loss. But if you hold, then there is still a probability that the price will bounce back, then you can still profit. the key is to choose the right crypto to invest so that you will not be afraid or panic when the market is down.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why alts are going down? on: February 18, 2018, 11:08:21 PM
I think if your coin is an ERC20 token, it should follow the price of Ethereum because most of the tokens are traded in ETH. Altcoins that are directly traded with bitcoin should be affected by the price change of bitcoin. And if you are just looking at coinmarketcap, that is an incomplete picture since it just shows dollar values based on bitcoin price. You should check individual price of tokens based on satoshi.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are bounty hunters guilty? on: February 18, 2018, 10:54:41 PM
Why are bounty hunters guilty?
Why do they say that bounty hunters have lowered the rate, and investors can not even return the money they invested? I think that if the project is honest, this situation is unacceptable, since hunters get a percentage from ICO, and the project team must redeem their token or coin!

Bounty hunters dump their tokens the soonest time possible and even on way cheaper price than the ICO. This makes the price low. But this should not be a concern since it is only temporary. If you invested on a good project, it should recover the price really quick. If it does not, then it is problem in the devs and the project not the bounty hunters.
240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A strategy for "surviving" in times of crisis on: February 18, 2018, 10:50:12 PM
Do I really need to travel? That would chip away money from my rainy day fund. I would take a break to take away the stress and anxiety maybe for a day or two. Play some games or do outdoor activities. Then work hard again. It is a crisis, you need to make ways to survive it.
