2281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 04, 2021, 12:45:30 PM

Lebron's dominance is over, he is really getting older like Kobe, soon he will retire but he is already a very accomplished man in the NBA, he will be a hall of Famer. Since this series is already over, we will now talk about the Suns vs Nuggets, I'm going with the Nuggets because of Jokic.

I'm looking forward to the next game tomorrow the Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks which is the match in the eastern conference and finally, we will see how strong the Nets are when facing one of the hardest team to beat in the league especially when their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo is in his ultimate prime. will he also get some easy win with the Nets or there will be intense games between these two teams that will lead them up to game 7?

The nets have a lot of weapons, it's a team that is composed of a big 3 and no one can stop the big 3 at once, if they will double Durant, Irving and Harden will generate points. We will see how the defense of the Bucks will play against a superteam, of course, I'm betting on the Nets to win the series.

I agree with that, in fact, they are the favorites to win the series, this should be a great series as both teams are hungry to win. It's just a semi Finals but it looks like an ECF, now, I'm afraid that Giannis will be tested here as the big 3 of the Nets are already battle-tested, 2 of them had already won a championship while Harden has already gone in WCF 2 times already IIRC.

First-round exit by Lebron James, what the heck.

Didn't see that coming, it was supposed to be easy by Lebron to make it in the first round, but this is different now, West had a lot of good teams and even if CP3 is not also at 100%, the suns already figured out their play and they play like a team, unlike the Lakers which are so predictable.

Lebron is getting older as well, he does not have the same type of strength he had back in Cleveland.

Worst defeat of Lebron in playoffs, then AD get hurt again, unlucky year for the Lakers. Booker and CP3 really carry the load for the Suns. CP3 experienced is really evident in this series, last six minutes he either score or assisted someone to cut Lakers momentum.

Lakers tried to make a comeback, but they still make big mistakes, and the Suns took over to extend the lead. I was wrong betting on them live after 3rd quarter, I took +10.5 Lakers but they did not do as well as they've shown in the 3rd quarter, probably Lebron gets tired and that's it.

Suns vs Denver series, this should be good but I guess Denver had an edge here Jokic is just unstoppable.

Good bet though, the Lakers has cut the lead to like 10 or 12 if I'm not mistaken and they are really playing good up to that point. But the Suns responded with their own run 7-0 to put some leeway. So good bet I would say about the 10+5, but the Lakers just run out of gas in the last 5 minutes.
It turns out it's a bad bet as the Lakers are not anymore scoring as the game is ending.
When the suns inserted Cp3 in the line up again, that's where they had a good run, so I just keep hoping I'll cover but it didn't.
It was a 13 points win by the Suns.

Yes, Jokic is really un-guardable at this position, he will be a nightmare mismatch.

Suns had a problem with Davis, now they have a problem with Jokic.

2285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Full of get-rich-quick opportunities at Bitcointalk on: June 03, 2021, 11:23:45 PM
Before see a coin i usually look their ANN in this forum. Because there are so many experts which can review the project. With that we can know which project that really good or not. But be careful for coin which get hyped by salesman and although they promised by a big profit, we should know what time to take profit before get rekt.
Just only seeing good review about a project, you will never think it’s a huge potential because many so called experts are got paid by projects owner for their biased review. ANN,Roadmap,Whitepaper is much sources to research of the project so before invest we need to DYOR.

Listen, most people are risk-averse. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. But when you combine this trait with the belief that "all that glitters is not gold," it can get in the way of wise investment decisions.

Luckily, there are ways to balance risk and reward and prevent yourself from getting burned when you dabble in risky, high-stakes, and potentially money-losing schemes that simply aren't worth your money. Get rich quick schemes can give you a lot of hope and motivation, but know what you're getting into. Most of these things will fail. Most of them are just not possible.
And most of them don't really last long and end up being worthless. Things might be good from the start but the more you put your capital on it, the bigger chances you will end up being rekt.

It's never a bad thing to trust newly coins you know but make sure to DYOR first and even trace its history before deciding to invest. Get rich quick schemes are anywhere. They are just waiting for someone to fall for it. So be wise and smart so you won't end up losing all your capital and your expected profits.
2286  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: June 03, 2021, 10:50:02 PM
I think its possible but in recent not possible to overcome the central Banks. The reason behind government won't let this thing happen, they won't permit any decentralized framework take over the banks and other than central banks is much imperative since we still require it to cash out our cryptocurrency, imagine if there's now not a bank at that point for beyond any doubt no one can change over their bitcoin or any altcoin into fiaJust think for a moment  if BTC overcome so fast how will manage the variable rates and retailers will not accept to early till they well trained and aware about Bitcoin.

We know that no matter how good the system is, if it is not legalized by the government, it will only be in vain, we cannot fight it, so we must obey the government regulations. Therefore, I think that in the near future, the central bank will remain the government's trust for legal transactions.
The government will always go with the central bank so it's quite impossible that bitcoin can kill a central bank because it's not even legalized as a currency by the government itself. And i really don't think that bitcoin will kill a central bank intentionally.

Bitcoin is here not to compete with our fiat in the first place but to serve as an option from the existing currencies we already have. If people prefer to use bitcoin rather than the existing currencies, then maybe its where they feel comfortable and convenient to use it.
2287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments ban Bitcoin like they did with Gold? on: June 03, 2021, 03:20:36 PM
The more opposed, the more miserable.
When it cannot be banned, you should think about how to comply.
If a single country decides to ban bitcoin, not only the citizens itself will suffer but even the government officials do. They will find it hard how to ban a currency which transactions are not totally visible. And bitcoin as a decentralized in nature, provides that no single entity or group is capable to ban it or shut it down.

Bitcoin cannot be banned legally but there might be restrictions along with it. And the more they see bitcoin as a hindrance to fiat, the more people will be even attached to it. Gold was banned some years ago but when it comes to bitcoin, it's better to comply than banning it.
2288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most of your coins are going to be worthless in years. on: June 03, 2021, 06:30:02 AM
Yes, shitcoins will be worthless in near future. I hope soon shitcoins trend will end at all shitcoins will be invisible from crypto market. All the good and promising project will be in this market. The reputation of crypto has decreased a lot because of Shitcoins. All thought now crypto has become gambling type.

The same thing was repeated by people in the most difficult time a few years ago, namely during the bear market.
And in fact, many projects simply died, while the strong ones remained. However, what did all this lead to? That's right, to create even more trash coins that will also die out next winter.

People come and go just like coins these days may possibly wiped out in the future. Even potential coins nowadays will turn into worthless if people stop supporting them. But for bitcoin and ethereum, since they got the all time support particularly from those big institutional investors, they might still live for more long  years.

Since this is bound to happen, then it would be more practical to invest only on the amount you can afford to lose. And be more careful in choosing which coins to invest to avoid losses and creating regrets in the end.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discipline hodling altcoins in the face of challenges. on: June 03, 2021, 06:02:14 AM
Will you Judge someone who sold his altcoins in the face of a situation
which he did not see any way out of financially other than to liquidate some assets as not disciplined enough?
Basic question. No. Money is still money. Life is more important than it.
In the face of a life threatening situation that finance is the solution to, will you still hold on to your coins knowing that liquidating some or all will get you out of the situation? Or will you wait for help from above or somewhere else?
Again, no.
You have the capability to help yourself or help your family in a life-threatening situation so take it out, sell it.
Remember, there will always be a way to make money again and invest with new altcoins, or if you want you can buy it back someday.
If you are not breathing anymore, can you still do that?
I won't suggest loans too, because you are digging your grave slowly by doing that. Use whatever you have when it's needed even if it's for food on the table or the bills that need to be paid.
Money will only be useless if you can't use it in your most worst life situations. I believe that the goal of any means of investment is to make money so you will get rid of your financial problems and so if you have already achieved it, then use it according to your needs.

Discipline will always be there. It's just that our challenges don't come in the same way either. For me, money is nothing if you will chose to hold it and make it grow. It should be use wisely in times you need it the most.
2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No One Can Shut Down Bitcoin on: June 02, 2021, 11:56:46 PM
It's very impossible for the world to lose its internet. There's already some backups that are on the space to provide internet access for some areas and that's why if there's a world problem about internet, they'll use that. We probably don't know how it's going to be possible to lose the internet worldwide but there could be a way but that won't happen because it would lose not only billions of money combined for every country affected.
It is possible for internet disruption if there are natural disaster and we have seen that in the past and then we have experienced that when the underwater sea cables were damaged in the past and no one was able to log online for a while and the internet connections were really slow during that period and so this the reason i am telling that it is possible that we can face internet disruption but that does not mean that the entire Bitcoin network can be shut.
Whenever possible internet disruptions happen, the concerns will definitely have to fix it immediately so that the damage won't be prolong. But in terms of bitcoin banning, a lot of countries have tried to ban bitcoin and their governments impose strict regulations towards bitcoin but it all ends that. No one is capable to shut down bitcoin and its blockchain no matter how they tried.

I got confused why they have to shut down bitcoin when in the fact they can possibly generate profits if they will adopt it? Government officials might fear of bitcoin's transparency and all illegal transactions might be definitely track. But having to use it and impose taxes will still give them the chance to make profits.
2291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 02, 2021, 11:34:15 PM
There are a lot of reasons why a particular holder tends to sell off their bitcoin from the recent dip;

-sudden need of money
-panic emotions
-influenced by fuds
-buying other coins

And other has personal reasons about that. But when you are a long time crypto holder like me, there is no room for a panic emotions as I have experienced this kind of scene before and the best thing to di is to keep on holding until I reach again my goal profit.
I agree holding would always be the best option in time of dips but for some important and inevitable reasons, other people force to sell their coins rather than hold them.

I personally don't fall in this current dip and resort to panic selling. I know my goal and i'm determined to follow it. Holding might be quite hard especially if the price keeps on dropping and you see all your investments are falling too but if you are patient enough and you believe in the potentials of the coins you are holding, you will never gonna sell off because you know big profits might be waiting in the long run.
2292  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID advanced the world into the future on: June 02, 2021, 07:42:05 PM
I think most of us would rather not have had COVID. It has been devastating for many economies and it took a bad toll on people. However it has had some side benefits (some may argue that having Trump removed for now may be one of them, LOL).

I am talking about the digital revolution that was already taking place, yet still had some bumps along the road to occur, and has been forcefully implemented by many companies that required their people to keep on working. I am also talking about the immense number of new influencers and subscription services that had increased their adept several times-fold. All this would have taken ages otherwise.
No matter how well people try to twist it, I am still not happy about this Coronavirus. This covid have ruined a lot of things, especially the place I live, things have changed a lot. This virus brought economies down and led to hunger in a lot of societies these days. And when there is too much hunger people will start living reckless lives to survive, there will be a high rate of crime which is very bad.

So, tell me why exactly I should be happy about coronavirus? Of course it did bring a digital revolution, but what's the need for a digital revolution? We don't even need that, I will choose peace of mind over that.
I understand your sentiment. No one will ever love this pandemic because of the drastic changes it brought to the world.

However, OP is right that despite of the drastic changes we have right now, some have also  brought positive enhancement for the people. Like the virtual activities that are mostly encouraged by now. People are more inclined to the high technology gadgets nowadays so they can cope up with the fast changing world brought by this pandemic. And people of today are more concerned already about their personal hygiene and how to maintain cleanliness so they will end up virus and bacteria free.
2293  Other / Off-topic / Re: Now tell me if you still believe on Elon Musk. on: June 02, 2021, 07:02:46 PM
We also remember on how Musk shill Bitcoin and after he earns with it he already dump and spit some bad word unto it so it will not a big surprise if he will do the same with Dogecoin in future, so for holders they shouldn't trust what elon says since for sure we will not know the date when he will dump his coins we will only know this once he already count his profit on hand and fud it so that he can buy another cheap coin again.
We should not care about Elon Musk anymore, basically we will be used by him for something he wants, but still there are still many communities who care about him even I still see a group of communities wanting him to act again but in the conclusion don't know what what he wanted even though Elon's plan was even more sinister if he dirty bitcoin again with his FUD.
Elon is a big businessman with a strategy that has been planned so he already knows what to do to get big profits so bitcoin is a business tool and then he will repeat the same mistakes again.
Elon Musk has its own goal when he entered  crypto as much as we also have our own. And since this crypto market gives freedom to everyone to engage in, and so Elon Musk feels it the same way.

I think it's not bad to follow Elon Musk's tweets so we will also be aware but it's up to us already if we will still believe in him or stick to what we believe from our own deep analysis. Elon Musk is one of the big whales in crypto and whether we like it or not, he'll always find ways to manipulate the market in his own advantage.
2294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can good news impact crypto value without whales? on: June 02, 2021, 06:31:02 PM
it's really possible but of course it's not that easy my friend, because more or less we need people like them for something. maybe some people don't agree with me but even though they do manipulate the market but look at it from the other side because the coins will not be able to run by themselves without them.
actually this whale has a positive and negative impact in my opinion.
but again there is always an impact from every action and there must always be a risk taken from everything
I think positive news alone will still create huge impact on the crypto market even without the whales. But this is not the reality by now. Whales are always present either when the market moves upward or downward trend. It's easy to say if we can ride with the whales so we will always be profitable but whales move secrectly without us knowing so it's really hard to ride with them. As long as we're enable to take advantage either its bearish or bullish, then we will still end up making profits in every way.
2295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This dip is PROOF that "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X price" is nonsense on: June 01, 2021, 11:58:07 PM
I never want to hear people say "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X Price"
I usually here this statement when the price is already bullish. Now that there's a correction it seems some investors are hesitating to invest because of their worries if the price will bounce back.

They're afraid to lose their money and dont want to take risk. On the other side if btc already soar high, here comes their regrets of not buying during dip, well if you have such mindset you really cant get rich.

Bitcoin is existing for over a decade but manage to overcome the dips and recover back with much higher price. If we track the history you'll understand why holding and have patience are necessary if you invest.
This is the reason why only early investors of bitcoin can only understand this market's condition. The bearish season will always be inevitable as bullish season always do. So we need to have the right mindset so we can adjust with the current dip.

Fear, hesitation and lack of knowledge will always be the hindrances not to invest in bitcoin. Yes it's definitely a high risk investment but if you will only invest on the amount you can afford to lose, then you have nothing to worry about. You might get losses along the way but if you are focused and patient enough, you will end up successful and profitable in this kind of investment.
2296  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 01, 2021, 11:20:23 PM
I make money off of signature campaigns but the pay is just some extra money for me to save or to play with. I stopped trading too much alts because I’m in for a promotion on my current job (which I love dearly) and I don’t think it’d be wise to sacrifice that for trading. Of course, I still make sure that I’m able to buy cryptocurrencies whenever I can and stockpile them for the future. It’s working great, I must say, and perhaps I will just keep the same setup until it isn’t worth it to do anymore.
Having signature campaign earnings is a bit decent depending on which country you do live in.It might be small for most people but bigger ones into those who do lived in developing countries.
Yes, this is also a considerable way on earning money online or bitcoins which this had been became popular where signature campaigns and bounties could give out that chance.
Same as yours which i do have currently have a job and making signature campaign for some extra and a little bit trade. Even though earnings on stable job arent really that
great but i cant still risk off on exchange it on crypto jobs which doesnt really make out guarantee.
Let's say even if you do have a great and well paying job, it's even more practical if you also have another source of income as long as you know how to manage your free time. Having signature campaigns right now is already a good source of income especially that signature campaigns these days are mostly in long term already. And if you are still not contented with it, you can start buying cheap bitcoin and altcoins today while the market is in dip. It won't take much if your time but you can make huge profits from it if you can hold them patiently and sell them only when they are already in peak.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red crypto market today on: June 01, 2021, 03:37:47 PM
Rumor has it again that Elon is launching the crypt into the sky. I don’t know whether it’s true or not. Therefore, I believe that the market will recover again in the near future. If I'm not mistaken they mentioned ETH and Dogs. : Smiley
Elon tweet about Dogecoin and it hyped. And now ethereum? Then it might reach new ATH again. But things like this will only be temporary as Elon will lost its control over the crypto market when Elon's followers start hating him and unfollow him.

I realized that crypto market is not yet mature enough because it can be easily affected by positive or negative news. And Elon Musk is definitely taking advantage of the market when his own hidden motive is to maximize his profits through buying from others who are in panic sell off.
2298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use the word CRASH instead of LOSSES on BTC? on: May 31, 2021, 11:53:53 PM
But you'll also see the same description for even minor corrections or gradual downtrends.  Might as well get used to it, though.  It's not going to change any time soon.

Maybe this is the fact. It is not going to change any soon. I would have to get used to it. But when I hear the word crash, especially from the unbelievers of BTC, they present it asive it is the end of the project.
Even myself, i feel uneasy using the term crash but when i read the forum and a lot of people are also using it, i realized its not really that harsh. Even in stocks market, some are also using it.

Well, this is not really a big deal for us. What will matter is that you know how to take advantage the time when bitcoin crashes or losses as they say. Buy the dip and sell at the peak. But do not fall into sell off as you might be regretting at the end of the day.
2299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: May 28, 2021, 04:25:30 PM
Would it really help him?

~snip~

Donaire was impressive against Inoue though he loses, this is another undefeated fighter, hence it should be a huge challenge for him.

They said that having a long lay-off in boxing could give them ring rust and i may agree with that but we should also take note that it is not only Donaire who have a long lay-off as Oubaali last fought on the undercard of the Donaire vs Inoue fight so this category should be even to both of them.

Basing on their last fight, Donaire impressed me more that Oubaali though he lost but he give one hell of a fight to Inoue.

I guess you are betting on Donaire to win?

Can't blame you, Donaire is our own, we should support him and I think he is not yet done although he loses against Inoue.
I'm not sure if Inoue felt that Donaire is a tough opponent but as a fan that's what we saw in their fight.

Obviously bro.

Odds now increased to 3.30 for Donaire ( betting odds. )

This is going to be so exciting for Filipino fans.

I'm wondering if what time we will see this fight, do we have an info of the schedule in Philippine time and local channels if there is?
2300  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: May 28, 2021, 04:06:39 PM
The kyc is due to the casinos license. Otherwise Bitsler and every other site out there asking for it would not be asking for it. They have rules they have to follow unless they'd rather shut down.

Exactly, every online casino that is regulated is required to ask KYC if that's the order of the regulators. However, I have an account on Bitsler and I still continue using it without KYC since I did not receive any message for KYC compliance. I gamble on sports mostly, maybe KYC is not for every user?

If you can still transact within the amounts you used to, then you can choose not to pass the KYC, but if you are gambling with a decent amount, then maybe secure it now so you will not have some trouble in the future.

The best feature of a casino is anonymous betting, so KYC should exist, but, as the world is evolving and crypto getting recognition by the regulators, it cannot be prevented that they will be more strict and I believe what they only implement is the standard.
