For those who have not put their bet yet, I think -2.5 is still good to go, just trust the NSD team.
If bettors take that spread in game 1, then they should not doubt the current odds knowing that it's a must-win by the Ginebra Kings. They will certainly figure out their mistake and they won't be making lots of mistakes in this game, Brownlee did not score at least 30 points in game 1, but I believe he would go for at least 30 points this game.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Crypto Signals trading on: April 07, 2022, 09:27:29 PM
Hello,
Does anyone know a very good Cryto signals group for scalping ?

I found so many, some are scam and some without results.
Do not be easily fooled on the crypto trading signals you see around because they are not created to make you profit but most likely, to make you lose. So trust anyone but yourself. However, you should always know that there is no perfect crypto trading signals existing. Some trading signals may work for others, but not for you. Better learn trading from your own experiences. And when you have gained good knowledge and skills, develop your own trading signals that will suit and work on you, but always consider to level up them once you see they are not working anymore.
1363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The reason people join bitcointalk forum on: April 07, 2022, 08:28:44 PM
Some more numbers of people join bitcointalk forum for one or two reasons, to gain knowledge or for both the money and the knowledge. The zeal to make money

As said, many will join only for money not for "money and knowledge", not realizing that without knowledge they'll mostly hunt for empty promises, wasting their time and earning nothing.

Even more, even the previous post has missed one more category: those hunting for money to be earned outside of the forum, spamming with links to various weak news sites or blogs, ref links to various platforms (most of them being scam).

Unfortunately the new ones seeking knowledge - with or without the added money - are fewer and fewer.
No one gets to learn and seek knowledge in crypto if there is no rewards waiting for it. Its by somehow a motivation for most of us. So we should be equipped with the basic knowledge and skills in crypto first before we start to invest and trade to make profits. But this is not happening for most of the newbies. They start to invest and trade first and when they start committing losses, that's when they decide to learn and study about crypto. And worst is, others decide to leave and quit crypto without considering to learn about crypto first.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 07, 2022, 07:31:53 PM
I'd be nervous as heck because almost whatever Satoshi says if ever he/she/they come/s back can be used in a negative light by mainstream media.

In the end, Satoshi shouldn't and wouldn't come back, which is good.
If he'll be back, all our investments will be triggered especially if he comes back to sell his own assets. But most likely, this is too far to happen. He has left the market for good and there's no good reasons for him to come back. Its clear that what we see now is edited and if he really wants to come back, he'll do it more privately.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 07, 2022, 06:49:21 PM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.
Personally, i always make sure to sell every time i see good opportunities to make profits. Once the current price reaches my target selling price, i always stick to the plan. Most of the profits i earned is certainly a good preparation whenever the market turns into bearish. And same as others, i prefer to do DCA as its the safest way to earn good amount of coins to buy and hold, and just sell them again when their prices have increased a lot.
1366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding "When" to trade. on: April 07, 2022, 08:37:22 AM
For those thinking timing isn't a necessity for having a successful trade they should have a rethink. You don't go trading when the news is out there of some negative directives been issued towards the industry. You can only end up losing as the market will be moving in an opposite direction to your calls
this situation only favours you when you're probably shorting then will the market move to your calls.

As a trader you must not follow all the guidelines given by the OP and by others on thread as you have to look for what best works in your favor and those suggestions mightn't. Trading is about developing a strategy that suits you and trade consistently until your perfect those strategy and become a professional yourself. One common mistake the average traders do in this industry is trading hype/new coins especially on the day of listing.
As a trader, we do have our own preferences and market strategies when to trade. Of course, we do it with the right timing or when the market is not showing negative conditions or when your emotions are not unstable. Otherwise, we end up doing bad trades that will only result into losses because we insist to trade despite of how unstable the market is. However, if you are an expert in trading, regardless of how the market behaves, you will always find time to make your trades successful.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 07, 2022, 03:36:50 AM
Gilbert's Research shows people from 18 to 68 underestimate how much they will change in the future, because of that they miss long term financial plans! What do you Think? Do you have any long term financial plans?

I don't think we need such research though because it is obvious that between this ages, you should at least be successful or have financial plans already.

If you have reached the age 30 you should really look for yourself in terms of financial and wealth you and should have plans already in set and motion. The problem is that majority is not doing this, instead, they just go and work hard every day for the rest of their lives.
The problem is, most of the people are finding it hard to provide sufficient funds for investments that may lead them to be financially stable. So instead of doing investments, they struggle hard working everyday for survival. But i believe everyone has financial plans for the future, its just that people do not receive the same opportunities. The rich people are always given privilege to increase their wealth, while poor people continue to live life the hard way.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just watch "Trust no one" diocumentary film related 2019 biggest crypto scam on: April 06, 2022, 11:49:55 PM
I already watched this on Netflix and I thought this documentary is all about Bitcoin but isn't, it's about the mysterious death of the CEX owner which is they have doubt that it was an exit scam.  Sad to say why they highlight Bitcoin in this film of documentary, they should warn everyone not to store Bitcoin on exchange instead.

This is how we can apply the "Not your Keys, Not your coins" we don't know when the exchange turn out scam which is in that film, there's a story of a man who lends money just to invest in crypto and entrust all of his assets into that exchange.

Everything in that short film is unexplained, the mysterious death of the exchange CEO becomes suspicious.  Dont trust any exchange that doesn't have enough reputation and store your asset in a long term.  Because as I understand in that film when you deposited coins on that exchange, they create a fake balance in your portfolio but your coins were ended out in their wallet (a conclusion based on an expert investigation on that documentary film), and in fact, they dont have a cold wallet which is very suspicious at the beginning.
I have not seen the film really. That is how crypto scam works. They always provide fake evidences that will make you believe that you are not wrong with your trusted exchanges, but it all ends up a big scam. I guess this will be a big lesson for us that even how legit an exchange looks like, we should always try to be suspicious and find those red flags that will clear all the doubts we have in mind. Because as long as money matters, then we should always secure it as much as we can.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: April 06, 2022, 10:38:12 PM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
The truth is that we can make a profit whatever the situation we have in the market. Perhaps, these traders even going to make it, so we can assume that we can do this as well. That is why I encourage people not to think more about corrections and the downsides, we'd rather think about the positive trend.
I suggest to newbies to buy now if they already have the money and if they are willing to take the risks. The market is still preparing for the huge spike, we're not going to miss this, otherwise.
If you are a good investor, you know exactly how to take advantage every market's condition, regardless its bearish or bullish. But for some newbies out there, its best to start building your wealth when all the coins are still cheap and affordable. Or better yet, do the dollar cost averaging, buy in every price drop. And when you see the price starts to become bullish and has gained a lot of increase, then take time to sell. That is a good preparation to buy back and hold again when the bear market comes back.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now it's meta here and there on: April 06, 2022, 09:57:08 PM
thats obvious that meta project scam even not all of them we need to dyor its easy money grab because the hype of facebook and big company like microsoft started the metaverse project but metaverse things is on very early stage so we need to be careful guys
Metaverse play to earn games have gained big demand from the market even at its early stage. And since its still very hot these days, scammers are now starting to create plans that will use metaverse projects to take advantage of its users. So always DYOR whatever new that comes out in the market and always be cautious on the simple acts of scamming. Scamming will be prevented if we all take precautionary measures to avoid it.
1371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Tips I learnt from trading that blew my account. on: April 06, 2022, 09:13:09 PM
Don't outsmart the market, it is most common mistake my winning traders who keep doing same things and expect same trading performance over the years. Market behavior may change, adopting a new rules can take a while while traders keep chasing losses which shouldn't happen at first place according to book. Chasing losses and fighting back market trends never bring good consequences for pro traders, better to learn from your mistakes before it is too late.
Always know your limits. The market will always be smarter than us, and we will never win over it. We need a plan and we need to stick with it and simply not chasing over our losses. Although we always become emotional because of some unexpected losses, but we will never make profits unless we never loss. So better we'll just learn from our mistakes and move on. Sometimes all we need is trial and error method so we will know which way will work.
1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, wants to give away 99% of his money on: April 06, 2022, 08:36:47 AM
An admirable and noble act on his part for not wanting to accumulate enough wealth and enjoy all the fine things in life which his money can obviously buy.
Is he going to donate to a charity organisation? That's the most logical way to spread the money across to reach the less privilege.
Am a bit surprised to read this, most people nowadays (especially the rich are always looking for ways to maximize their wealth) it is a generous act I must say.
It is a sad truth that most of the rich people nowadays only focus on how to maximize their wealth, but Sam is a true reflection of what supposed to be a real billionaire. To always give assistance to the less fortunate people, and to always be generous on what you can give without wanting returns. Needless to say, he is such a noble person. And it will be all worth it if all his donations will go to all the right charities that deserve to receive the best help.
1373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers show no mercy, this is how serious crypto investment has become on: April 05, 2022, 11:32:25 PM
Yea.. large scale hackers sure made a lot of money, but I think your claim is a bit too far-fetched.

Guess what — scammers will always exist, inside and outside of the cryptocurrency space. Nothing is going to save people from scams than to stop being so naive and delusional.
Scammers are everywhere, where they can see targets to fall as their victims. So if most of the investors tend to be less knowledgeable and are easily to fall on traps, most likely because of greed, then they will always gain huge amount of money from the victims' pockets. I guess that's the reason they need to be smarter than us, otherwise they'll end up falling on their own traps too.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way to invest in crytocurrency in 2022? on: April 04, 2022, 11:28:53 PM
In the past there are been different ways of making money in crytocurrency, for example ICO,staking, mining, bounty hunting, buying and selling of nfts, investing in memecoins etc.from all these which do you think is the beat approach to make money in the present market conditions?.
Do you mean the best way?

Any of them can be the best based on your experience and situation. I have seen people say bounty is the best for them and there are also the miners.

Investing alone is effective and can be the best for me because I have seen how many holdings grew over the years. And that is why I am continue to accumulate because the profits I have made is really decent.
Investing can only be profitable if you have the right coins to invest. And that would even mean huge profits if you accumulate more bitcoin than altcoins. It may be the best way for some, but it could mean a total loss for others. However, if you always invest in promising coins and always do the basic, buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high, it will surely be the best way to be profitable in the crypto market.
1375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: April 04, 2022, 08:50:40 PM
According to the economic situation of the world, most of the people in the world are living in unemployment. In that case, cryptocurrency unemployment has been greatly reduced. Those who can't find a job are getting involved in cryptocurrency trading.
This is a flawed narrative. Trading is not a day job where you make money every month or week. It is a risk-based sepeculative game where you have a chance of losing money as well.

Before crypto was popular, stock trading was already there. Did that solve an unemployment problem? Or did it bring more people to debt because they were taking undue risks in markets beyond their control?

If someone is unemployed they should work on skills and get a job first. Trading should be kept aside for the time being. It's called prioritising.
Trading is only good for a part time job, and should not be prioritized as a main job because the income is not timely and fixed. You could be profitable in some days, but could also be broken in the other days. So its certainly risky and may leave your family having an empty stomach.

Having a stable job that will give you a consistent income is still the wisest thing to do. Trading then can be your second source of income given that you have skills and good strategies that will make you win your trades.
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 03, 2022, 08:31:41 PM
Government policies and awareness IMO are the greatest challenges as to why we are not there yet.

Of course, governments would like something that they can control and easily monitor, so they will certainly stick with fiat and banks, and try to limit the usage of cryptocurrencies by imposing lots of regulations that does not benefit the user.

On awareness, not everyone has access to such information albeit the current technology that we have. Poverty still lingers on a huge percentage of the world, and with it comes poor education which hinders people's ability to grasp information more easily. Sure, they may have heard about bitcoin and all, but what do they do with the limited information that they have if they can't put two and two together in the end?
If the government will continue to see bitcoin as anti-fiat, then its adoption will be totally hard. There is no way that we can do without the government's approval, except from trading bitcoin as some of the governments are already supporting it. And with poor people who continue to have no good education and don't have access on internet, they will never know facts about bitcoin and this will be another factor why bitcoin won't be adopted easily worldwide.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 01, 2022, 07:26:03 PM
@milewilda. Similar to what I have said in the other thread about boxing predictions, Murata might be very underestimated for this fight. The fight will be in Japan where Murata is the hero, GGG will be 40 years old on the day of the fight, Murata is only 36 years old with a 2 inch reach advantage. Also, all of Murata's losses he challenged those boxers again and won them each with a knockout. Would you bet GGG with very small odds?

That's true that Murata has the reach advantage, it's more like of an almost 5 inches reach advantage because it was a 12 centimeter gap. However, I don't agree in that particular statement that Murata's age is also an advantage compared to the 4 year older GGG at the day of the fight because that is just a short span and it's not that Murata have experienced and fathom GGG's ring IQ and experience when he was also 36 years old.

GGG has fought bigger guys before, bigger than Murata and yet he was able to beat all of them. When it comes to the advantage overall, that belongs to GGG, the only advantage Murata had is the home-court advantage as this fight will be happening in Japan.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 01, 2022, 02:21:24 PM
...>< it was Harris in game 4 but he was injured in this game which the Meralco has taken it as an advantage to beat the Magnolia.
Bad game for the Hotshots, they were up early but they weren't able to keep the lead and allow the Meralco to have a big run. Because the game was very physical, injuries cannot really be avoided, and if Harris wasn't injured, I guess Meralco would say goodbye, but they got lucky so let's welcome them to the PBA Finals. 1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 01, 2022, 12:25:39 PM
I'm looking at the games tomorrow.

I'm seeing a good opportunity betting on the Memphis at home with +7.5
They are up against the Suns, but I think they are also playing impressive basketball even without Ja Morant.

Both teams are on a winning streak, so I guess Memphis here is the right play.

They've almost lost to the San Antonio Spurs last game if I'm not mistaken, they are holding a good lead but wasn't able to maintain them and they are lucky that Johnson missed a close shot.

And they are facing the number one seed in the West (they are in the second spot), and they are playing without Ja Morant. The Suns might win but it might be a close one, so who knows, maybe +7.5 might be a good bet, currently at 1.8x odds.

That depends on how you will see the game, Phoenix beat the Warriors but Warriors covered, so probably it will be the same thing here as when Phoenix played the Warriors, Curry was also out, some situation with Memphis where their star player is out.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith inu got me good on: March 31, 2022, 09:44:42 PM
After this rise, I see that the value has decreased by 70%. It is no different from the usual pump and dump tokens. I don't understand how people can easily take risks for these meme tokens. It's almost impossible to make money if you don't have clear advance notice, and if you win, it's pure luck. If people started making money from these scams again. The market seems to be starting to move. Hundreds of meme tokens popped up in the last bullish season, but they've all been forgotten.
Meme coins are expected to rise significantly during their first days but their value drops gradually in the following days. So this new Will Smith Inu coin is nothing but definitely just the same with the old meme coins that dump their value and now they're gone in the market. Well, if you found luck and got good profits from this coin, good for you but don't be too carried about it because in the end, you may lose more money more than you won.
