1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My biggest crypto regret on: April 28, 2022, 08:10:51 PM
If I am given a chance to go back to 2020 I would hold my ETH very tight and never let go, when covid was hitting the world at its best I thought it over and I sold 24 ETH which I bought at 120$ each, I never knew I was so damn lucky to buy at that price, learn to hold tight if you believe in a project, there are countless of projects in past years that are way bigger in value right now.
You are not alone. A lot has been regretting too that they end up selling their ETH when the price was quite low, not knowing that its value will go even higher this year. But not for ETH only, because i had also regrets that i was not able to buy more bitcoin and hold them more when there was a big opportunity to buy. Now i've learned my lesson, so i'm giving much importance to bitcoin right now, and to all the projects i have high hopes to be more valuable in the future.
1302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 28, 2022, 11:08:03 AM

per - https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/basketball/usa/nba/nba-21-22-60f9572f41ddce1ac040cdfa

NETS TO WIN
NBA eastern winner - 46
NBA first round against Celtics - 15
NBA winner = 67

Turns out it's just a TRAP> Bad Nets, does not even win at least one game, I don't know if I could still trust them next season, bye for them for now.

Anyway, let's focus on the current standing, odds are not displaying yet because there's an ongoing game, let's see after the 2 games today.
I check last night, Warriors are still the favorite, so it's good for the backers like me.

If I would act now, I would rather take the Bucks because IMO they are undervalued. They don't have Middleton but look how they dominated the Bulls, so I think they deserve to have at least 5.00 odds, but who am I to complain, I'll just probably take it.  Smiley

You don't complain because it's an added value, it's  7.55 now per Harizen and if you are betting on sportsbet, you'll probably get a price boost and might increase to 8.00. I think that's a good one already, but for me, I would pass since I'm not a Bucks fan.

I like to bring it here since we have to specific thread for this.

What do you think about this latest news of KAI SOTTO?

Kai Sotto declares for 2022 NBA Draft

Does he have a chance to be drafted? if there is, how big and on what team?
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 28, 2022, 09:45:47 AM
I don't think they can stop Giannis though, so what they are going to do is to shutdown the role players. The Celtics has enough body to do that and then let Tatum (which for me is a legitimate star now), do the damage from all angle.

Since Khris Middleton doesn't have yet a clear status on Game 1, it will give Boston Celtics a slight easy adjustment on who will be defended by their players. Middleton I think will be supposedly defended by Jayson Tatum but since the former is possibly out on Game 1, Tatum can switch defending to either Jrue Holiday or Pat Connaughton while Jaylen Brown will focus on Grayson Allen or Wesley Matthews.

Boston Celtics already know how monster Giannis is and even though they are aware of how to stop him, they can't execute it properly since he is unstoppable and breaking every defense. Therefore, Celtics might switch into a shooting rally where most players on the lineup do have a good FG percentage on the 3-point area and perimeter. The missing link is how to defend Giannis at all costs as Al Horford really needs a backup when Giannis started to post up.

That's just my quick pre-game analysis and everyone feels free to contradict or share your input about this.

Don't count Lopez here, if Giannis will be defended well, they still have the edge on the inside as Lopez could dominate, not only good inside but also a great 3 point shooter. I even like the line up of the Bucks now, they are well balance and the starting 5 are great defenders.

The key here is to limit Giannis but I don't see that happening since Celtics is not a good defensive team IMO.
1305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: April 27, 2022, 10:50:44 PM
First of all, wanna say hi to everybody.
I searching on the internet in the last 2 week 24/4 about crypto currency and how to multiply your money. I read article’s about people how can get rich, people who can get brokes and a lot of things about that, and to be honest, if it was possible to become rich after night, all people in the world will do that, so basically in my opinion it is lucky, or tips from billionaires who own some crypto etc.

I came there to get some advice from people who really know what crypto it is and how it works.
In the last months, I open an Coinbase account, and I saw that, the application pay me like 20 euro ( free coins) for opening an account. It was so nice. After like 1 month, the app do not give any free cryptocurrency.
My question for you guys it is, beside Coinbase, it is any other application like that, like give you free stuff or something ?

Ps, I think about what you think, a poor guy came there and try to get stuff free, go to work buddy. Ok, it is true, I searching for something free because I have a bad financial status,I was working as an mechanic and I was fire because service closed, and I searching for everything can came. I have 1 baby and I need to put food on the table when I get home Smiley so please, all hate stuff it is not accepted.

Thank you for your time guys, and I’m waiting your reply.
Dan,
You must be so desperate i guess. But don't worry, you're in the right track with crypto. Since you don't have money, you don't have the means to invest, but you can earn them and invest afterwards. You can start working in signature campaigns as only your knowledge and effort are required. But rank up your position first so you will be accepted. And you can also apply for crypto jobs, master your skill first so you can be an asset to your employer.
1306  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: April 27, 2022, 09:55:36 PM
If you like reading things such as conspiracies, you have probably heard and read about a one-world government. That also pertains to one-world currency. The funny thing is that isn't that a coincidence that bitcoin is uniting all of us and agreeing that this is our money that doesn't have any boundary and is good to spend wherever we are? But you know what, realistically speaking, you see countries, boundaries, they're having wars and disagreement with each other.
So honestly speaking, this one nation, one currency is very impossible to happen. Even if we know that there is bitcoin who can bind us together and gives us freedom away from the national government, but in reality this is not the case. Bitcoin is just a tool, and what hurt us more is that it can never be a global currency like we always used to dream of. Bitcoin can't stop war and chaos, and there's always supremacy all over, so bitcoin won't be able to change what has been there since from the start.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 27, 2022, 09:11:07 PM
He can shill all the time Dogecoin.
This is possible and we hope that it won't happen.

But if he accepts Bitcoin as a payment in having crypto ads on that platform, that would have an effect on Bitcoin in the future.  But this dude is pretty smart, we don't know what his next month and we can't predict it.  Let's see what will happen next.

For him, just free speech.
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1519036983137509376
Of course, there should be other reason other than free speech why he's so obsessed in buying Twitter, but knowing how smart he is, i think he has already set his plans before that. And even if all the boards will refuse his offer, well he does not easily stop and he always pursue his plans no matter what. Though he's always the big fan of dogecoin, but i'm pretty sure that he will also dwell on bitcoin once he succeeded from buying Twitter. Expect by then that bitcoin will have to undergo a roller coaster ride again once he starts to influence the market and the community of bitcoin.
1308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: April 26, 2022, 11:28:02 PM
Talking to avoid scam telegram groups, but you offered anyone to join your groups since you claimed it's legit group.

Yes, we should avoid all groups including you.
Well, we will only know if those are scam groups once we start participating in their telegram groups. But if we manage to be knowledgeable and smart all the time, as long as there are red flags in it, then its a sign not to indulge ourselves. However, useful tools and channels did exist, but the problem is we find it hard to determine which are useful and which are not.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the sign of bull market start on: April 26, 2022, 11:08:22 PM
What is the sign of bull market start

1. Bitcoin is recovering so fast but there will always be a small correction.
2. The volume in the market is starting to increase
3. So many pumps happened with so many altcoins at the same time.

There are more indicators that being used by so many people to determine the start of bullrun but im sure that bitcoin will always become the main sign to know whether the market is starting to turn into the bullish or not.

As bitcoin dominates the crypto market, i guess it should be the first base so we will know if the market starts to be bullish. There may be corrections that i think have become inevitable, but i think bitcoin should always be seen increasing its own value even hitting 20% increase because that will be a good sign that the market is having a bull run. Otherwise, the market will fall into a bull trap and suddenly drop its value, together with the rest of the altcoins.
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: What should be a good ROI for a startup? on: April 26, 2022, 10:46:28 PM
Entrepreneurs struggle with their ROI on businesses. Starting a business is not a difficult task but sustaining it becomes challenging. I've seen a numerous companies go bankrupt after good years of sales. Knowing the reason behind is lack of future projections.

According to you, what should be the ROI for newly launched startups?

My views are around 15% per annum but it would take around 6.6 years to earn the initial amount back. Would it be a bad decision?
There is no certainty in expecting for an ROI amount since not all businesses are bound to succeed, others have become doomed in the end. But for an in demand business that will surely work for the customers, the ROI may even hit 80%-100% at the end of the year, but for those who only show slight movement of success, i guess the ROI would only range lower from 20% per annum.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 26, 2022, 09:34:46 PM
I don't think Fiat will always be the norm. It is so right now becayse old man are still in power and unwilling to give it up. A few politicians control the fate of millions. It's the same kind of governments all around the world. Politicians first think about themselves and only later about the ordinary people. It would be good for society if crypto currencies would be playing a bigger role, but for that to happen fiat money needs to lose some power. The problem we face with switching to a more independent financial system is that governments would need to act more prudent and couldn't keep issuing new debt every year. Unfortunately politicians are not willing to make that sacrifice yet. Maybe in 10-20 years we will have a new area of more open minded politicians.
Most of the present politicians are still fiat centered and they stay in their position to keep on taking advantage on fiat. So if you were in their position, they would not really want to replace fiat with other currency since they can totally control fiat. However, if new mindset of politicians will be in the position in the future, for sure crypto will be very much welcome as these politicians will now think the welfare of the people, and not for their own's welfare.
1312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: April 25, 2022, 11:38:30 PM
I see a lot of newbies ask whether they should quit their jobs to trade crypto, and my honest advice is you should not try it.

The thing with any investment or business is that, no matter the amount of money you have, it is always good to start small and grow over time (don't test water depth with both feets). Because you are entering a new market and you need time to understand the market. Your job will stand as an insurance for you, in case of any loss. So keep your job, continue investing in crypto and growing your portfolio until the money you make from crypto is more than enough to pay for your lifestyle and also save. Then only can you quit your job.
If you can do your job and the same time trade crypto, that will bring more profits than what you expected. Than just relying on crypto alone, there are no fixed income, and the moment you failed your trades, everything will end up in a mess. So always be practical whenever you decide, its better to be safe than sorry at all.
1313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 25, 2022, 09:39:14 PM
I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T
Stop making regrets and seize the opportunity to invest while bitcoin is not reaching at its peak. But don't expect that the market value is still the same because bitcoin is certainly facing a hard time to surpass even $45k. But if you will be more patient and will not expect quick gains this time, there are always chances that we will still end up making significant gains in the future. Just do your part, and let bitcoin do its part too.
1314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports betting picks and prediction channel you watch? on: April 22, 2022, 08:45:12 PM
~snip~

As you correctly said there are a huge number of such channels and they also lose like all the others. If there was a single channel whose author would not be wrong, we would not have seen bookmakers because they would have gone bankrupt. So try to make your own decisions and accept that losses in betting are a natural phenomenon.
Even if you end up watching in a very reliable channel, that won't give you guarantee that you won't lose in the bet. So as much as possible, accept that losses is part in gambling. But if you care to do more of the research about where to put your bet, i guess that will bring more relief. And your own decision will simply based on your studies, not on the prediction channels out there. Same goes that you are responsible of your own action and decision, and not those other people around.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 22, 2022, 07:50:51 PM
The best game to gamble is the game that you enjoy, that's the first thing you should put in mind as it's very important for you to love what you are doing. Gambling is not about winning only, it's also about getting entertain, but since we are talking of chances, gamble on games that has a low house percentage and in my case I go for sports betting.
Of course, its not just all about money in gambling, but also the level of entertainment that we also need to experience. Otherwise, if you don't enjoy the game, the interest will not grow at all. This why some gamblers often lose because they focus on the bets alone, not the experience itself. However, when asked about the best game to gamble, yeah i think sports betting specifically in NBA as there is high probability to win if you know the best team to bet.
1316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 22, 2022, 06:46:39 PM
It's a high risk bet, but if you get it right, the earnings that you will take is more bigger compared with the odd during the finals.

At the early stage, we can choose good odds for us, but not only that, but we should also believe that the team we choose will win the championship. Of the proven teams, I see that the Nets and the Warriors have very enticing betting odds now to be the NBA winner. Of course, that will change after the start of the playoffs which is tomorrow.
I guess Warriors is now leading in the NBA playoffs, with all those big shots from Curry and Poole that made its last game really amazing and full of action. But of course, Nets is also very close to the Warriors performance status and changes will always be inevitable in the next series of games. So let's just expect the unexpected. At the end of the day, the best team will certainly the next champion of this season.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez 130-pound Title Unification Fight on: April 22, 2022, 06:05:12 PM
Both fighters are battle-tested but I like Valdez aggressiveness and toughness I'm sure there will be thrash talks between the two, Valdez must win this fight convincingly to erase the Robson Conceição controversy and prove to the boxing fans that he is the real champion, there will be excitement in the build-up leading to this fight as both are champions.
Both fighters are equal and I'm sure it will be hard for bettors to figure out who is the big favorite

For the record, the controversy is that Valdez was caught with PEDs.

True, this is hard for bettors to decide where to put our money. As you have said, both are battle tested and coming from a win. And this is not just another fight as this is unification and I'm glad that both of this fighters have agreed.

I'm interested to see what will be the opening odds, as who will be the slight favorite.
This fight will definitely put us into deep thinking as who deserves our bet because from their boxing records, both have their impressive odds and certainly hardest punchers in the ring. But i think i am more impressed with Oscar Valdez, not only because of his high experience in boxing, but also for his aggressive fighting style that made him the world's best active super featherweight way back 2021. Nevertheless, Stevenson also got his own skill in the ring with his own fast hand speed and knockout power, but i think Oscar Valdez will win over Stevenson this time, just my thought.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: April 22, 2022, 08:21:15 AM
Crazy stuff. And probably only Stake has the capacity to bankroll this sort of bet consistently...

There used to be a lot more 20 BTC bets I remember from the early days of PrimeDice, and Just-Dice would even occasionally get triple digit bettors (one of whom was playing with an exploit IIRC). But that was ages ago when BTC was worth peanuts.

Just shows you how mainstream crypto gambling really is nowadays, that these millionaires are willing to try it out.
Well, if you can afford to lose all those huge amount, i guess those high rollers don't have even fears even if they put all in. Because if they also happen to be lucky that day, that means it will also add more fortune to their wealth. That is also one advantage of being a high roller. But for us small wagers, we only gamble small amounts, so expect that the returns will not be quite big.
1319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: April 22, 2022, 07:13:45 AM
Almost every week there are one or two new casinos launching here, this section is already a big number of casinos there are good and bad new casinos here, these new casinos know that for them to stay in the game and be competitive they have offer new things and bonuses and giveaways.

Are you still supporting new casinos even if you're already playing in so many casinos do you still have room for new casino to deposit and play?

It makes me excited every time i hear newly launched casinos because i know it comes with great offers and give aways. And even if i am already a regular player in my trusted casino, i'm still taking chances to enjoy gambling in new casinos so i can take advantage with all their promos, new offers and certainly lot of incentives. And knowing they are still attracting new players, i guess the chances of winning from their exciting games are bit higher from others.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 22, 2022, 06:19:06 AM
Lots of gamers around the world would be happy to be incentivized for the hours they put in to the game. A lot of people are dreaming to get inside the world of esports like their idols, but in order to do this, lots of huge sacrifices should be made first before they can even enter this lucrative world. If someone can bring it closer to a lot of people, it will definitely be a hit and lots will support it. The video gaming industry is still expanding, and if they can integrate gambling, incentives, and gaming all in one, it will be a nice niche market that a lot of people can enjoy.
I guess having these incentives will bring more satisfaction to all esports players as they are putting most of their time for these video games. Esports like Counter strike and Dota 2 have attracted a lot of players and if they can integrate gambling in all these entertainment games, this will make the whole esports industry become more mainstream, and definitely gain more support and acceptance even in gambling industry.
