1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Future after Elon Musk Buy Twitter ? on: May 04, 2022, 11:29:09 PM
Well, we can just put aside what will happen to Doge at this time as Elon Musk has been controlling twitter now. We'd expect a surge may occur once he prompts promotion again. Dogecoin holders will be happy with this news for sure and this creates another hype, more demand to expect with. If we are practical people, buying Dogecoin at this time seems to be profitable. But, we should be mindful that anytime Doge price may fall. And that is why we just invest the money that we can afford to lose.
I always agree that investing in hyped coins will bring us profits but apart from it, we should always be alert and even monitor the market 24/7 because once there is a sudden market crash, or the hype is over, its value will drop eventually. And before it happens, we should sell dogecoin at its high value so we can still maximize the profits. No matter what's the real intention of Elon from buying Twitter, its always certain that the future of dogecoin is part of it.
1282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 real-life lessons I learnt from Bitcoin (No 6 will amaze you👇) on: May 04, 2022, 10:56:03 PM
Well, I have also some lessons that I've learned from bitcoin. And the main lesson I've learned is being patient pays off. I know that all of us became patient and held for a long time.
That's why those that have made profit when bitcoin hits the last ATH, they're the ones who have been the most patient. I also made a profit but I've sold earlier but still, I can say that I've became patient and still made it.
Being patient i think is the best virtue applicable in crypto. As there are no guaranteed success along the way, one should always be patient to wait for the right timing to be profitable. Otherwise, he will end up being impatient and panic sell all his coins just to cover up his losses. And if there are those who failed to stay patient, but those who remain patient most of the time are likely proclaim the winners in the end. The market is always unpredictable, so we should extend our patience as long as we can.
1283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I got Scammed. on: May 04, 2022, 10:38:40 PM
So indeed they used Binance as affiliated name for their modus operation? I see they are doing their own version of p2p wherein using telegram and members numbers in the group to attract potential victims. Telegram is the least place you should do a teansaction. This is the site where I was scammed before and from that experience never gonna do a teansaction on telegram again. Very risky, sorry dude for what happened to you.
Binance is the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange so no wonder newbies fall for it even if it was used indirectly. It only proves that any exchange even if they are affiliated with those exchanges that are already established, still they cannot be trusted. I guess you have learned your lesson OP not to trust easily, and before you trust any site or any telegram group, make an in depth research first before entrusting your money to them.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders paradise on: May 04, 2022, 09:21:18 PM
Before I started cryptocurrency trading I have always hard this friend who is a pro cryptocurrency trader and have always shown me his profits but never told me how long he has been into cryptocurrency trading, but I have known him for crypto trading for close to two years now and in this period I only saw his success stories.

Now I decided to start trading after many persuasion and am beginning to have a rough experience but all the while I have only viewed cryptocurrency trading as an all good venture
Do not worry this is natural, it is very rare that for someone that is new to this market success will come immediately to him, this is something that takes time but fortunately for you there is something you have that most traders in the market do not have, and that is a mentor you can ask questions.

If your friend is someone that can actually make money from the markets then you can ask him questions about what books to read so you can also have the same success as him, it is not going to be an easy journey but without a doubt your path can be way easier than the one the majority have to go through if you know how to take advantage of the knowledge your friend can impart to you.
Good thing about you is that you can have a mentor that can guide you throughout the way, unlike most of the traders here who struggled to learn on their own. That way, his success will also influence you and you can definitely learned a lot from him. However, don't be surprised if some of the days turn out to be rough and hard, that is the nature of trading. What matters is that despite of the losses you have, you are still able to make profits which i think every trader's goal.
1285  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Elon musk's buying of Twitter fueled by Jack Sweeney?? on: May 04, 2022, 07:32:16 PM
1.The idea of spending 44 billion USD just to stop a 19 year old kid from "tracking" him is ridiculous.
That kid could still track Musk and publish the info on another social media platform.Do you think that Elon Musk would buy all social media platforms, only for the sake of stopping a teenager from tracking his private jet? Grin
2.AFAIK,the deal about Twitter still isn't approved by the US authorities. There is a small possibility that the authorities might decline the deal.
3.Musk stated that he would buy Coca Cola only to add cocaine as an ingredient. You never know when he's serious and when he is trolling.
Elon is a very smart guy so there is no way that he will fear of just because of this teenager's taking advantage of him. Before we knew it, he has already made a good arrangement with this teenager which i think Elon is not also being taken advantaged of. And about his real intention on buying Twitter, that remains a mystery until now, the thing that only himself knows it. One thing is for sure, Elon buys Twitter because it can make him more profitable and productive in the future.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin teaching approach on: May 04, 2022, 07:02:07 PM
Wondering what I'm doing here? To give a little back story, I have been assigned to a secondary school (high school for those in the United States) for my national youth service as part of the  mandatory one-year programme for graduates of tertiary institutions. I have been assigned as computer science teacher for the senior class in a school where there are no computers. I guess the students are expected to learn only theory and let their imagination do the rest. I want to give the students a different experience other than the one they are used to. I'm a Bitcoin guy, I wear a Bitcoin shirt to work. I'm practical about bitcoin and want to integrate Bitcoin and crypto as topics in my teaching practice. I am preparing a course outline and borrowed some beginner topics from bitcointalk. I will be borrowing computers from nearby centers for class projects when the time comes. I don't know what to expect from the students, any suggestions will be appreciated.
If you can make your bitcoin teaching approach more fun and interesting, the students will certainly develop more interest too in learning from you. Bitcoin is quite broad to start but if you can teach the students in a very simple way that will make them understand and become interactive, that way you can expect that there is learning happening. It would be better to use technology to make them understand more, but since there is no computer around, then you have to be more resourceful so they can picture out and make their imagination become wild to discover new things.
1287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 03, 2022, 11:17:57 PM
i'm looking for a good trading course. i found some good ones on udemy based on reviews but im not quite sure if they are actually worth it. i dont know how to value them. i want to learn trading from A to Z step by step without jumping here and there on youtube. ive been doing quite till now but i feel i have knowledge gaps. if u can please link me to some nice courses i'll be thankfull.
Every course that talks about the reality in trading will always be helpful to all aspirant traders. If you aim to be a successful trader, don't look for the best courses, but always think that you will learn most in trading if you have varieties of resources. After all, its not the courses that will matter, its how you deal with the different market conditions and ends up making a good analysis so you wil come out still profitable despite of the market's uncertainties.
1288  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be patient, don't get discouraged. on: May 03, 2022, 10:35:35 PM
If their sole reason of being here is to increase their rank and earn money in the first place, then they'll likely just end up getting nowhere regardless if what advice you give anyway. Even just a small decent amount of passion and genuine interest is required for someone to strive here on this forum, which a lot of Newbies don't have.
If there is no passion and interest, newbies will find it hard to have patience and courage to stay long in the forum because they have no good motivation that will make them stay in the forum. Other than money, newbies these days are more self centered and are only after on how to level up their position because for them higher ranks means higher compensation. If that will be the norm, i guess the forum will no longer be effective and informative in the future.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Go Up When Whole Crypto Market Goes Down? on: May 03, 2022, 10:17:26 PM
shitcoins and memecoins hardly gets affected by the movement of bitcoin because they are just coins made for manipulation and their market has their own agenda of bullish and bearish because its getting controlled by someone with big capitals behind it.
but if you think that you could make quite the fortune out of these shitcoins and memecoins, maybe you could, but big chance you gonna losing your investment because as I already said, market being manipulated, always bring lose for anyone that gets in and try investing.
instead, it’s just better investing in a altcoin that’s already going down from bearish because its gonna be having bigger chance of recovering back its former valuation.

If there are coins that move up when bitcoin has stay low priced, its always those coins who are highly manipulated by big whales. Their prices will be hyped temporarily but when the hype is over, you will always witness them falling apart. If you can avoid these kind of coins as much as possible, then do it because it will only give you more losses than gains in the long run. Bitcoin is the one dominating the market, so you should always invest in bitcoin and its established altcoins, and investing in times of a bear market is the best way to start.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid to buy Bitcoin in its bearish state? on: May 03, 2022, 09:44:42 PM
Buying is always best done during the most bearish of states and selling during the most bullish of states. Bear season is actually buying season. So instead of being fearful, people should be stoked that they are given an opportunity to buy low, to buy Bitcoin at a discounted price. Others would think it is irresponsible to recommend buying during the red days in the market. But when is the better time? When the price has already recovered?
We all know that actually, but i guess it's hard for beginners to understand that since they prefer to buy bitcoin at its peak price, and panic sell when the price turns to bearish. It is no surprising that newbies often lose when it comes to investment but i think everyone here started from scratch. People will only understand the opportunity brings by a bearish season when they experience consecutive losses from buying bitcoin at its bullish price.
1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentinian Government Ready to Take Advantage of Crypto Holder on: May 02, 2022, 10:51:33 PM
they may not get the whole picture of the crypto holdings of their people, but at least they will be getting something from this market. unlike those countries who are totally banning the crypto market. we all know that crypto users can hide some of their transactions and you can just disclose your other txs if you will use centralised platforms. their government may be realising that they can get a hold of some of their crypto users but definitely, they know, they won't get the entire crypto market of their people.
This is mostly the advantage of not banning crypto in one country. Well, there's no reason to ban actually if they can make profits out from those crypto holders. And in fact, banning crypto won't be the people's loss because they can shift into another country where crypto is not banned. Now, it will be the government's loss if they still pursue banning crypto in the future.
1292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The trend is your friend if you know how to identify it)) on: May 02, 2022, 08:24:06 PM
How to determine the trend for bitcoin?

Share tools or your opinion on determining the turn for bitcoin.

The topic is interesting because correct knowledge of the Bitcoin trend will help predict the direction for 98% of altcoins according to my observations.
If you could easily determine the trend of bitcoin, mostly you will succeed too when it comes to altcoins as they are mostly following the same trend from bitcoin. And by being more open to social media news and updates, reading recent blogs about bitcoin and participating in some prediction channels, these will give you more advantage so you will have an idea which direction bitcoin mostly go.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: April 29, 2022, 08:53:09 AM
Related to Elon Musk again about his purchase with Twitter.

But the main thing that I can see to this is about bitcoin's pump today. We all knew that whenever bitcoin gets a pump, the other alts are also going up with him.

That's why I'm not surprised if Dogecoin and other altcoins are making a gain whenever bitcoin is making a gain too.
I'm not surprised either because Elon is the founder of Dogecoin, so might as well its one of his plans to hype dogecoin and so with other meme coins. However, the recent news also give positive effects on bitcoin and the whole crypto market. So as always the case, when bitcoin is surging, it will also create significant price increase on the crypto coins in the market.
1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 29, 2022, 08:23:18 AM
For sure Dogecoin now has a place to hype.

Ain't know if this is good or bad news for crypto or Bitcoin itself but it seems the intention of Elon Musk towards this platform is good.
But I tend to agree above, it could be also a misuse that could benefit him and make a hype of any coins that he wanted to pump.

Whatever the hidden agenda why Elon Musk bought this platform, let's hope that's good and based on his proposal, and here's what he says he'll do next.
Dogecoin and all his fave meme coins will surely hype these days as Elon has regained his power to maximize his influence on blockchain and cryptocurrency. If this will also mean increasing bitcoin's value and so the rest of altcoins, i think buying Twitter has certainly brought good effects on crypto. But as you've said, there must be a hidden agenda behind all of his obsession on Twitter, but as long as its for the improvement of Twitter and its free speech and rights of users, then i'm into it.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 29, 2022, 06:34:02 AM
Donaire should continue to work harder, if he have train hard in his previous fight, he has to double it as Inoue as a monster is a different animal.
There's no doubt that he's doing it. He's a responsible and dedicated one and that's for sure that he's doubling his work at his training now. The discipline that he's putting into his training is a must.
This is like his last match before he retires so basically, he's going to give his all in on this match if not then he can still continue with another one win before he announces retirement.
Yeah, for sure he had trained harder before, but Inoue is too much for him. But after his lost, Donaire has bounce back and then won a belt.

So if Donaire is thinking about retiring, then definitely he wanted to end it with a good note and hopefully he can beat the best boxers in their division. Because he has done that during his prime and it seems that he has gotten his second wind. So he will focus more and train hard for this Inoue, if he falls short again, maybe time for him to retire for good.

I think regardless of the outcome of this match, he has to retire already. I mean, if he wants to retire as a champion and he is lucky to beat Inoue, then that's it because there's no other best boxer in that division than Inoue. However, if he loss and think of bouncing back, I think it's not a good idea since it will take time to have a chance to fight Inoue which he is not getting any younger anymore.
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 29, 2022, 06:12:06 AM
I voted for the Bucks to win the series.

This is not just about the odds on the match, I just like the chances of the Bucks because they are the defending champion, and it's only a 2nd round and they have a chance to beat the Celtics here. With the size of Giannis being unstoppable, that alone for me is already a bonus, yes, Celtics are tough, but Bucks IMO are tougher due to their experience.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 29, 2022, 05:53:01 AM
I like to bring it here since we have to specific thread for this.

What do you think about this latest news of KAI SOTTO?

Kai Sotto declares for 2022 NBA Draft

Does he have a chance to be drafted? if there is, how big and on what team?
Rumors are still not good, claiming Kai is not the favorite and he’s not even on the list of Mock draft for 2022. With regards to this achievement this is already a step closer to his dream to play on NBA, so whatever will be the result I’m sure Kai will not stop for aiming more, this is a good exposure to us and this can boost a lot of Filipino players to dream higher and of course, to be better. The chance is there as long as you’re part of the draft list, but its hard to tell on which team.

In fact, and actually if the NBA will decide to get Kai, it's like getting the Philippines to the NBA, and that is good for the business because Filipinos are a big fan of basketball. I don't wanna lose my hope yet, I'm still optimistic that Kai will make it.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some recent tweets by Elon Musk showing he is starting to warm up to Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2022, 11:10:35 PM
I don't follow his Twitter, but from what I saw, I got impression that he always been positive about crypto, blockchain and obviously, Bitcoin. So' I'm not very surprised to see him posting about Bitcoin. And I think that endorsement from person like Musk means a lot.
A smart person will always be positive in all his actions, regardless of what his real intention is. And knowing about Elon, he will always be a big influencer to everyone especially for all the newbies out there. So not really surprising for all of us if he stick on bitcoin because he knows that its going to bring huge profits in our investments in the future.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I think its time to start my crypto trading lessons on: April 28, 2022, 10:13:58 PM
I believe no one can learn everything about crypto in one day so there is no giving up on the part, always learning every day,  now I think its time I move into crypto trading, not in rush but i am less busy this days, I want something I can slowly learn about so is there any books or video about crypto trading? A genuine stuff that has almost all answers to trading, candles and other stuffs that a newbie needs to learn first?..
You are right that learning in trading takes a lot of time so you should always prepare yourself as learning in trading has always been a hard way. And as a newbie in trading, always consider learning in the forum first particularly in the trading boards discussion as everything that have been presented there are based on real life experience. I think you will gain lots of ideas there that will be very useful when you start real tarding.
1300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the end of Fiat money at hand? on: April 28, 2022, 09:35:28 PM
For the umpteenth time I read a comparison like this. The presence of any stable coin will not shift the dominance of fiat because fiat is the first condition for the launch of a stable coin.
The role of fiat will always be more important than the stable coins themselves, even the stable coins can collapse at any time if the government forces to withdraw fiat reserves from their vault.
Fiat will always dominate and will never be replaced by a stable coin in the future. Although stable coins are sometimes become the preferred coins  when other cryptocurrencies value are dropping, but it does not happen most of the time. So fiat will always exist even if the government will start to approve digital currencies in the future. Fiat will always be the official currency, all those digital currencies will only be alternatives.
