2301  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 23, 2022, 09:00:02 PM
Why stop at months, I think we can speculate this whole year might be a fear year.  I'd call it consolidation, natural process and revision and its not as bad as it appears but people get to fear readily so yep good call by OP.
I'm not a great fan of hype either, if somehow I could trade both engage and sell I would be alot richer doing so.    It often OTT overdone silly fear imo, BTC behind the scenes matters more.
It's better to speculate based on year than months because we can see a bigger picture using a year as our basis. Well, the market maybe bearish now but that would never end the crypto market, like in the past, this is the trend that we are seeing again, and if we didn't make the right decision in the past, this is the time to correct that and it should start from buying the dip so we can stock some crypto assets for the coming bull market.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 23, 2022, 08:40:44 PM
^^ No doubt that Barrios believes in himself that he can beat Thurman, that's why he chooses Keith to be his next fight in his first attempt at 147 lbs. And he should be really preparing hard because he knows that this is a very difficult fight for him. And upsets can happen in boxing, as we can see recently, Magsayo beat the reigning champion in 126 lbs in Russell via a decision. So we will see if he has what it takes to pull another upset for this year.
That was a good win by Magsayo, and yes I believe in upset as I bet on Magsayo on that fight with Rusell. well, in this fight, I'm with the favorite here as I'm a fan of Thurman and I believe he can teach Barrios a lesson on how to be clever in boxing. This is going to be his come back fight, I'm sure Thurman would also not gonna take this fight lightly.
2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who saw the Bear market coming? on: January 23, 2022, 01:34:06 PM
Tried to tell my friends back in the summer that $60k+ was a good time to sell because bear market was incoming.

No one listened. They all were hypnotized by the YouTubers shilling alt coins and thought another 10x was around the corner.

Now, 6 months later they are all talking about the crash incoming.

N00bs....

They surely are regretting now if they are not holding it for the long term, for short term trade, selling at $60k would already give a decent profit, sometimes our greediness makes us not to make the right decision. Now that the market is bullish, if we panic, then we will lose.
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $34k the bottom?? on: January 23, 2022, 12:41:15 PM
It's hard to tell now, the recovery is very slow, so I think let's not make a conclusion for now. IMO, if the market is bearish, then most likely the dip that we saw is not really the lowest price, more dump means more panic, that would possibly happen if we are already in a bearish market.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 23, 2022, 12:04:34 PM
Congrats to the winners, I see that most of the posters here were betting on Magsayo, you enjoy the day.  Smiley

That was so lucky for Magsayo, Rusell got injured so he took advantage of it.
If Rusell wasn't injured, I think Magsayo might lose in this fight because the scorecards result were very close, one judge even score a draw.

The judge that scores the draw is questionable given the compu box results but this is boxing a lot of controversies when it comes to going to the judges' score, Magsayo is being very careful because he knows he is fighting a strong fighter with a very good experience but like all the opinions here he is indeed lucky, Gary Russell can call a rematch if there is a clause in their contract, the argument is he is not 100% although it's not Magsayo's fault.

As always, they would favor the champion but not enough cheating for this fight. Scoring a draw is insane, they see that the champion is only fighting with one hand and there's no way he could win as Magsayo is also fast and fierce in the fight, maybe next time the favor would go to Magsayo as he is the current champion.
2306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 23, 2022, 10:14:15 AM
My early pick will be for the Phoenix Suns -11.5 versus the Indiana Pacers.
How I wish Devin Booker made that windmill dunk for my win to be secured. But he was really on a bad night with just 11 points. Most of his shots just won't get in. It happens to shooters, so it's okay. Chris Paul though made my day complete.

That bet for Jae Crowder. Oh, unlucky. He was hurt in the third quarter and just ran quickly to the locker room. I wish it's just a minor injury. Just 1 more steal or block could've perfected my player props.
Biyombo and McGee both have a double-double. Great contribution while Ayton is out.
They didn't cover the spread, it was only a 10 point win. I think that spread was to high considering the Pacers are doing well in their past games, but that's it, have to accept and move on, maybe next time they'll dominate their opponent and would easily cover the spread.

2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 22, 2022, 09:24:35 PM
Inoue's name will always be dragged everytime we have Casimero as a topic, which means that the fans would really want to see them fight. In terms of benefits? I think Inoue will benefit a lot because if he wins he will become a unified champion and he will also gain a good paycheck since it's going to be a big fight, for sure the sharing would be 60/40 or 70/30 in favor of him.

Not surprising to see that since they have unfinish business with Casimero and until their fight didn't happen we can expect that this discussion will never end since many fans really want to see that fight to happen. Also maybe Inoue want this fight to happen since as you said he will get huge benefit on this but I think the problem here is with his management since looks like they want to heat up something so I do hope we can see this fight to be sealed since for sure their fight will be one of best event to see if this will happen this year.
Inoue has the tools to beat Casimero, if the management will not give him this fight, then maybe they are just playing safe as they also understand how risky it is to be up against Casimero. If Casimero beat Tete in his country, then Inoue would not be an exemption at all. However, it's still nice to see the fight to happen as it's what the fans would want to see.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 22, 2022, 08:55:42 PM
In my opinion, they need to let AD go and trade instead of the team expecting for him to be healthy all throughout the season where in fact he can't. Just get another younger big out there that will be a good fit for the team. Right now, Howard really needs more minutes but even him is past his prime already.

Like who? I don't think that idea will save the Lakers from being a mess. Even prior to Anthony Davis sitting out because of injury, they are struggling. If everything can be solved by trading a player, then it should be always the solution that a team always does but it's not that simple.

They need to find the solution with hard brainstorming on the desk. What are they lacking? What's the problem why they are inconsistent? What's up with the rotation? What's up with everything? And so on.

Firing a coach is an option but I don't also think it will change the whole Lakers. What they need is an adjustment but I can't understand why it takes too long for the chemistry to maintain its consistency.
I can recommend some good bigs right now but I'm not saying that it will change the whole team but at least having some changes to the team will help the team to be a better one at least with their current roster. Well trading is gambling for them because they don't know if the player that they will get will be fit for them in this case, their whole team is kinda messy and lacks something that is why they are at the 7th spot.

I agree with what you said that they need to have a deep talks. They need to know what is the problem to the team. They need to know what the team is lacking with and solve that problems. Maybe the reason why the team is inconsistent right now is the fact that the players aren't fit for each other.

If they would want to trade someone from the team, it should not be AD because he proved himself to the team already and gave them a championship. I guess it will be Westbrook that will be traded and bring in guys a bunch of players that will provide some contribution for better rotation.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the bitcoin's Moon boys ? on: January 22, 2022, 08:26:13 PM
All of them are bullish, they cannot make money when the market is bearish as dump people are not investing money. If they will continue to talk despite the dump, they will only make mistakes, so they better choose to shut up and wait for the current situation or the market to turn bullish again.

Their job is just to create hype, not to create panic.
2311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is boring on: January 22, 2022, 02:38:44 PM
BTC is not boring its movement right now is not upto expectation's which is normal ask person who lost million's on pizza or in garbage they too think that time same.
Patience is boring people want 100x next day, it's not true what you see in market now a days they are pump and dump coin's legit coin's always give returns on time.
HODLING means Patience.

Exactly, you'll be bored if you have too much expectation but you don't have the patience. If you are into bitcoin trading and you want more action, then play with the price volatility by doing some day trading, surely all your focus is on crypto as the crypto market is a highly volatile market.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 22, 2022, 02:22:43 PM
However, it's time for redemption, he will be coming back not only as a challenger but the main goal is to become a champion, and it wills stay with beating Barrios.

The fight between Thurman and Barrios is not a title match.

But with Thurman winning the fight, we can expect that's one step in building his name again. If successfully win, he can consider challenging again those top names on the rank. I'm sure he can handle Barrios here as the excitement and interest to return to the ring for him is really high.

Barrios is not an easy opponent but I honestly don't see him winning against Thurman.

I know it's not a championship fight, but whoever wins this fight will have a chance to fight a champion, and I am with you on your prediction that Thurman will win here. Thurman may not be as active as Crawford, but I think if he would challenge Crawford and the champion agrees, it will be a hell of a fight and I'm not sure if Crawford will dominate.

His last fight is against Pacquiao and he lost, this time, I think he can win since Barrios has already passed his prime. I'm hoping that this is a big preparation fight for Thurman vs Crawford because we already have Ugas vs Spence Jr.

Great news for the boxing community.

I think Thurman would win in this fight too because he has an age advantage over Barrios which could be his edge over their upcoming fight. The fight is just a few weeks from now and he could definitely bag the title and belt if and only if he really trained well and he tried to learn the ways of Barrios in fighting such as predicting his opponent's next move strike of punch, defense, footwork, and speed. Although I would not like to discredit and invalidate the skills of a professional who is known to be in boxing for a long time already considering his age. Surely this would still be a challenge for Thurman before he will be able to achieve his goal - to win. Hopefully, they would give us an exciting and thrilling performance inside the arena. The announced date is on February 5, so for those fans of both players, be ready to witness their battle and may the best boxer really win.
Thurman has the tools to beat Barrios, no question about it, that's why majority of us here is favouring Thurman to win. But what makes this fight interesting is the whole statement of Thurman that this could serve as a title eliminator and winner takes the winner of Spence vs Ugas. So for sure, many are hype and going to watch and see how Thurman is, if he still has the power to become a champion again.
I'm sure he still has the power, he always backs his words just like his fight with Pacman. He talks trashed a lot but he performs really well in the ring, it's just unfortunate for him that he lose in that fight. However, it's time for redemption, he will be coming back not only as a challenger but the main goal is to become a champion, and it wills stay with beating Barrios.
2315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: January 21, 2022, 09:22:47 PM
Just the right time, bitcoin is almost half of its ATH, so view that as an opportunity to buy. The market has been bearish in the past few months and I think it's not the dip yet, be more patient and wait for a cheaper amount. Buy BTC and ETH, prioritized it, but also consider other altcoins which has some big market as when bitcoin dump hard, they'll dump harder.
2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 21, 2022, 08:52:21 PM
Looks like Demarcus Cousins to the Denver Nuggets is now official.  Glad he's getting another shot in the NBA.  Seems crazy with the way he played for the Bucks that he wouldn't have a spot somewhere.
He got a 10-day contract. https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/33115824/sources-demarcus-cousins-sign-10-day-contract-denver-nuggets
Not bad, if he can show what the team needs from him, then he might get a shot for a longer contract, I hope the best for him and most especially being healthy so he'll get a better chance.

Still no Ben Simmons news...
Sadly, but there's nothing we can do but to wait.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 20, 2022, 02:44:54 PM
Adoption to the new environment will take some while but I guess it wasn't hard for him either.
He was not able to adapt with the Magnolia that's why he was traded to the Phoenix.. well, maybe because Magnolia would choose to get Abueva and send some of their players. The thing is, Banchero will never be the main man in a team, he is always a supporting cast only.

He could be a big guy in his new team.
Let's see what team he will be playing with.
2318  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10 interesting facts about cryptocurrencies on: January 20, 2022, 02:19:39 PM
I enjoyed fun fact #2.

Before I discovered bitcoin, I was having a hard time gambling because I need to fill my digital money and that requires a long processing a high charges. With bitcoin, there's still some fees if you'll buy but it's only minimal and the transaction are instant, not only that, you can also gamble anonymously which I am sure everyone is enjoying.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Kin token on: January 19, 2022, 01:56:54 PM
Guys, what do you think about Kin token? I presently own about 6k of itbut the value is very small.
Does this token have the ability to appreciate soon enough?
It depends on how the investors will treat KIN, based on the current situation, it already has a good volume and it just needed to be listed in big exchanges to achieve good liquidity. As of now, the market is bearish, therefore you can always take advantage by buying a champ KIN token.

6k is a small amount of investment, you can just slowly accumulate to increase your holding, who knows it will give you a fortune in the future.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 19, 2022, 01:09:40 PM
So hopefully they've learned from this big mistakes.
They will and I believe it will not happen anymore, they know what the stake on this fight, if Casimero will not show again, his belt will be gone and his future will be compromise, so they'll make sure the fight will not be canceled and they'll pass the weight requirement.
