1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin, Not for everyone. on: September 30, 2022, 08:54:22 PM
Actually in this case there is no requirement for someone to store 1 bitcoin in their wallet because there is no such standard and there is no recommendation that this should be done.
But it would be great if we had it in our wallet regardless of the amount. Now there are only strategies and financial conditions. who believe in bitcoin and have sufficient money conditions then they can earn more than people in general.
The good thing about bitcoin is you can even buy and hold a portion of it, and just only buy again when you are already in profits. That way, you will never struggle hard to store 1 bitcoin as there is no required amount to buy or store in your wallet. However, rich investors will always have the opportunities to store more than 1 bitcoin as they have all the means to buy a whole bitcoin in just a single purchase.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More reasons why it will always be Bitcoin for me on: September 30, 2022, 08:33:42 PM
Be your own bank. That's what Bitcoin offer to everyone. But because people wants convenience, the banks are useful for online transaction thru their app.

The banks today will start to act like they are worrying whether you are going to pay the kidnappers upon trying to withdraw $50K. You are perfectly fine and all your family but they may hold it for a bit. You will have to answer a lot of questions and will just give you $10K in the end. This is what happen to a friend recently.
This is why there’s no reason anymore to trust banks because they can’t simply help us with our own money, instead they keep on holding our deposits because of the bank’s interest to use our money first for its own progress. But with bitcoin, this will not clearly happen. Bitcoin will be our own trusted bank, and no one will have the right to access except our own selves, and no other interruptions from the government or from the banks personnel.

1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Suppose Bitcoin Price start to rise in 6 week to $30,000 -will you buy or sell ? on: September 29, 2022, 09:40:09 PM
I think many people would be already buying when it hits above 25000 dollars and above 30000 dollars it would already hit news.
Honestly I wouldn't buy huge amount of Bitcoin yet I think we are still at too early phase for next halving. Although breaking limits can be convincing to at least buy some for quick gains. Like going up from 22000 to 25000. It would be worth. But I tend to hodl. I prefer long term big gains.
There are still people who will grab the chance to sell before the price drops quickly, and i think there’s nothing wrong with that as long as they will sell for profits and buy back again when there is sudden price drops. However, for me I don’t see it tempting to sell as I need higher price for bigger gains, and probably the best thing to do is to hold more of my bitcoin and buy some more if every there is sudden price decline.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Favorite Misconceptions About Bitcoin on: September 29, 2022, 08:00:20 PM
3. I would love to buy some Bitcoin, but (whatever the current price is) is just too expensive for magic internet money.
And then they go for altcoins.
I have seen many people believing bitcoin is too expensive and they should buy a shitcoin worth less than a dollar.
"This token/coin is now worth $0.0000001. If it reaches $1, I will be a billionaire. Bitcoin reached to 60,000 dollars. So, 1 dollar is nothing and can be reached very easily."
This is the most common people’s thinking, they always see bitcoin having the highest potential in crypto but since it’s price will never be affordable so they end up trying their luck buying altcoins. Not realizing that there are more risks investing in altcoins particularly if you chose those new altcoins in the market as they mostly end up as big scams. But if you go for established altcoins, yes you can be profitable but not as huge as bitcoin.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 27, 2022, 09:59:40 PM
It really depends on us. I would love to stay at home doing my work. It saves time and money consumed by travelling from work to office and then on the way home and the meals and snacks. At home I can easily grab any food or even cook while having a light work. And I don't have to get dressed well except if there are cameras needed.

I know there are also positive reasons to stay at our work places rather than at home. The focus is better. Everything needed at work is always at reach. But if I am given the choice I would love to work at home.
Working at home has become the trend since the pandemic has arise. And I think I found it more relevant to stay at home while working, not only you save time and money, but you can also do multi tasking as far as earning from your stable job and side jobs are concerned. Though working at your workplace is also productive since your resources are reachable, but I’m glad stay at home jobs is introduced because I’m now enjoying it and it gives me more profits knowing I can do more than one job at the same time.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do you sell your Bitcoin forever, OR wait to buy back later ??? on: September 27, 2022, 09:40:17 PM
So here is the question I am asking you guys:

1.   At what point do you guys lose faith in the dream of Bitcoin going to the moon, cut your losses and sell ??

Never.

The rest of your questions aren't worth answering.

Bitcoins going to become a global currency or we'll die trying.
I will always keep my faith with bitcoin even if it’s price will always be going downtrend. So what? It’s part of the bear market season and instead of seeing it as a threat, let’s consider it as a new opportunity to maximize our bitcoin portfolio. Nevertheless, bitcoin will never fail is simply because there is huge demand from its community so it will always recover and skyrocket its price again.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: September 27, 2022, 11:39:45 AM
Considering the weight division, Shakur is somehow at a disadvantage because he isn't a normal 135 lbs boxer so yeah it is wise to say that it is more difficult for Loma to beat Haney than Shakur.
Yeah, though the weight difference is only 5-8 pounds for each division, but we can look Canelo who're the best on super middleweight but got beaten on light heavyweight division.
I don't really think Haney would rank up very soon since many people will judge him if he's scared to defend his belts against other boxer.

I wonder what the next opponent for Lomachenko after Ortiz, maybe Tank? considering he have WBA belt.

Shakur came from 130 pounds and then declared that he can't shrink his weight anymore so now he's moving 135 pounds, it's still to early to judge Shakur but he should at least test the water first before cracking the boxers in the top. Normally, he should fight through ranks too just like the other boxers.

And just like you said, there's no reason for Haney to climb the next division, he doesn't have some problems in his weight too. It's much better for him to defend his belt for now. And if in-case Haney will indeed climb up, Tank Davis is more suitable to fight Loma.

I'm surprised with Shakur's decision but it is what it is, when the a boxer feels that he cannot maintain the weight anymore, he need to move up to be able to perform at his best. Haney might stay in his division for awhile, but if he decide, that's alright because there's nothing for him to prove anymore.

1470  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education seems to have failed in some developing country on: September 26, 2022, 09:46:41 PM
It's good to have this notion, but not everyone thinks so especially the 90's and older generations. In developing countries, work is the most sought after career and is even a measure of success for several reasons:
- The influence of parents and the environment
- Education orientation
- Privilege

So that education is believed to be a bridge to work because that is the only thing that is considered successful.
Education is considered our first successful achievement before getting our own dream job. However, with newly graduates that are not equipped with skills but only pure knowledge, they will surely find it hard to land a good job since the company owners would want skillful workers rather than just being only knowledgeable. But even so, those educated and knowledgeable people have still brighter future compared to poor and illiterate ones.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: September 25, 2022, 02:31:23 PM

That's his problem, he was very slow in their first meeting, Haney can predict his game plan so he cannot win if he uses the same strategy. I think he needs to conserve his energy, be a counter puncher and make the right timing, that way if he can hurt Haney, there's a win that he can win by KO.

One good timing to land a solid combination will change the direction of this fight, like what we have seen from their last match Kambosos game plan was well read by Haney, those counter jabs hurt Kambosos a lot so he needs to find ways to counter that plus he needs to make solid conversions, a wise in throwing punches will conserve his energy and might bring him the belt back.
Counter punching strategy will best work against an aggressive opponent, and since Haney is more of a technical fighter than an aggressive fighter, so I would say that the chance Kambosos would land a good counter punch is very slim, he needs to be accurate so that one punch could change everything.

It's easier said than done actually, but a slim chance is better than nothing.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: September 25, 2022, 02:09:38 PM
However, if he do not do any adjustment as far as his weight issues then he will definitely join the list for this year. For sure there, could be feeling of pressure on him to get back his title against a confident Martinez.

I guess he will be the one making an upset if he beat the champion, for sure Bookies will not anymore list him as the favorite although he was the heavy favorite on their first fight. The pressure is on both fighters as people still think that Ancajas can return to being a champion, while Martinez here will try to prove that he deserves to hold the belt and Ancajas was just making an excuse.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: September 25, 2022, 01:12:50 PM
If you look at the previous fight, Haney prioritizes distance more and he is not in a hurry in carrying out his strategy. We can see when he attacks and is about to be countered by Kambosos he immediately keeps a safe distance and always starts from the beginning. On the other hand, Kambosos has been carried away to Haney's battle scheme which makes him unable to avoid and ultimately loses in absolute terms.

The moment Haney dictates the tempo of the fight, Kambosos already lost the match.  So this coming match, Kambosos shouldn't let Haney dictates the pacing of the fight.  Kambosos must come up with some strategy that will make him nullify Haney's attempt to dictate the tempo.

I could say that Kambosos needs tons of adjustment if we want to reclaim his belts. Styles make a fight and it seems to me that Haney's style is not suited for a slugger like Kambosos, the latter is a bit slow for Haney. The first fight is not even close so for me and changing one's boxing style can't happen overnight so for me this exercising of the rematch clause is just for the money, result will be the same (just my two cents).

That's his problem, he was very slow in their first meeting, Haney can predict his game plan so he cannot win if he uses the same strategy. I think he needs to conserve his energy, be a counter puncher and make the right timing, that way if he can hurt Haney, there's a win that he can win by KO.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 25, 2022, 09:44:41 AM

I don't think Butler's skill should be underestimated.  Yes, in the upcoming battle, he is potentially very much inferior to the Japanese.

However, Butler is an experienced and strong fighter.  If he does not lose personal courage and fights with all his strength, then he has a chance to win.  Butler is very unpredictable.  It is not for nothing that this boxer is called the Killer, who has a childish face.  He can outsmart the Japanese.

If the Japanese boxer relaxes, then Butler can launch a surprise attack that will lead to a technical knockout.  Such an option now seems completely unbelievable, but it is possible.
In this case we know that Butler's quality is very good but the problem is Inoue is one of those fast boxers and he can hold a punch.

Relax? he is not that typical because of the aggressiveness and speed he always displays in every fight and maybe we can see one of his last fights against Donaire a few months ago.
On the other hand Butler must be wary of Inoue's left hand in this match because he is a monster especially when his left hand punch is really strong.

I'm pretty sure that Butler is already aware on how good Inoue is, so for sure, he is already preparing how to be effective in the fight night. Inoue is the best, but he has a weakness as well, and that's what Butler's camp has to find out so they can play the right strategy.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 25, 2022, 09:05:42 AM

So, no game today because of the super typhoon that will hit Luzon this evening so be careful everyone, this is a strong typhoon and its destruction might be massive like what happened to us when we were hit by Oddeth.

Yes, they announced that games today are postponed.

https://pba.ph/news/pba-postpones-sunday-s-double-header-pba-3x3-leg-3

So see you on Wednesday, I'm sure there will be no more postponements at that time.
As for SMB vs Bay Dragons, I think it's gonna be a great match up, but I still think that SMB will be the underdog, so I'm gonna take chances betting on SMB.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 24, 2022, 12:17:21 PM
^ Hehehe, we should take everything with a grain of salt specially coming from Bob Arum. He used to promote Crawford, and if he believes he can beat him, why he didn't set up the fight? The only reason I can see is that it's it's difficult to negotiate with PBC or there is not money to be made because he says that Crawford doesn't have that huge draw. And this is one of the main reason why Crawford left him, because of this comment of him, and assuming that time that Crawford is still with Bob.

Crawford might not draw a lot of fans like Spence do, but this is already a big fight, for sure the promoters will make a lot of money in this undisputed fight. I don't think the problem here is if this fight will earn big money, I guess the real problem is just the split of revenue or one of the two have chicken out.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 24, 2022, 11:18:57 AM
Watching Bay Area Dragons and North Port, end of 3rd quarter, score 80-77 in favor of Dragons. It's close and North Port managed to get a lead but that's not even far on the past quarters. We'll see if they'll be the first team to beat these giants.
This Liu guy is really playing easy and tall, also has long arms. Easy throwing the ball under the ring.

Wow, what a game. It was intense and an exciting one, NorthPort almost got the win but Bay Dragon's import Powell did save the day for them with that buzzer-beater 3-pointer. Though the lost, nothing to be ashamed of because NorthPort manage to kept the game as close as possible until the final buzzer and this will remind the Dragons that they will lose along the way when they faced a stronger team like SMB, TNT or Ginebra.

I guess Bay Dragon is just overrated, SMB and Ginebra could beat them for sure. It's a great game, I think we will see a major upset, but I know bettors who take the spread are happy with the result, congrats guys.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A meme coin called baby doge worth this risk? on: September 23, 2022, 09:59:31 PM
Based on reviews about the said coin, the project isn't reliable and not worth our trust. It's just going with the hype of Dogecoin and taking advantage of it hoping that they can gain the same popularity that Doge has. Any coin being related to meme coins as for me isn't reliable and they're something that we should get rid of. We all know that not all meme coins especially the new ones could survive the current market situation that we have.
Meme coins will always be shitcoins in the end, and there have no changes from the start. Although there are some meme coins that made exceptional profits at the start, but obviously they fail to sustain it for long. The reason why investing or mining meme coins are not advisable as it could only result more into losses than yielding profits. If possible, always DYOR first before creating decisions. That way, you will never fall mining such meme coins with no bright future.
1479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is anyone buying right now because they think we are at or close to the bottom? on: September 23, 2022, 09:37:48 PM
Is there anyone buying right now because they think we probably will not go much lower and don't want to miss out at these low prices?

I am not talking about people who are averaging down or doing their weekly small bitcoin purchases, I am talking about people who are actually converting their cash into serious bitcoin holdings, or increasing their bitcoin holdings by a large amount.

We have no statistics to refer to that but obviously, there are always buying at any given price. On how strong the buy is, you can check the buy orders at some trading platforms and from there, try to make a conclusion on what's going on.

If you are in that situation where you are still confused about what to do, you need to have the guts to decide to buy at the current price.

It's regrettable to see the price is climbing up again and you will be left with the concern, "if only I buy at the lower price".
The bear season is definitely the best time to buy, its either you buy all in or do DCA, it's up to you. What is important is that you never let this opportunities make you regret in the end. So if you want not to repeat the same mistakes again and up regretting, then better don't be late in buying cheap bitcoin and established altcoins. Regardless if we are near to the bottom or not, what is important is that we were able to store a lot of promising coins before the bull run hits the market.
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need some advice on: September 23, 2022, 08:59:16 PM
I need some thoughts about this group I've joined a week a go. They are giving free signals for trading and I actually start earning since day 1. Are there really group like this? or Am I on the right trading group. We trade in Batex anf U-koala.
You're just being lucky and nothing more, since you have earned money without losing any you're wondering if you finally found the right group for you, but you're forgetting that such a group has probably been around for a long time and you don't know the results of all of those that came before you, so I think you need to be incredibly careful as the chances your winning streak continues for a long time aren't really that high if you ask me, and it isn't going to take long for you to begin to lose money at an alarming rate.
I can’t say that you are already in a right trading group just because you have made consistent profits. Giving free signals will never be happening for long term as everything will have its own limit. As an advice, don’t be too confident relying from all these free trading signals as you might go wrong in the end and might be the possible reason that you will lose all your profits in the first place. It’s better to trade on your own and experience possible losses because that’s how you’ll learn in trading and develop strategies on it.
