1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They have the team and good idea but they choose the wrong name on: September 22, 2022, 09:53:42 PM
I want to talk about Doge chain project, I can see how this project is progressing with different ideas and dreams from the founder and team, they list on top exchanges like Kucoin and MXC but they made a big mistake using the name Doge. ..  They never had anything to do with Doge coin and they contacted the Co founder of Doge coin, trying to make him take their side with 14million dollars gift, this is a very wrong move
Well, whether this is intentional or not, so far several projects have taken the name of the meme coin. One of its functions is to follow in the footsteps of the hype and the use of the name is certainly easier for people to remember and know, right?
The consequences of taking this name are less clear, because so far there have been several cases with similar names, right?

And besides, was the team really that good and created a really promising project? I'm afraid if a project promises something really good, then that's the beginning of the project to fail.
I don’t see any significance with the dogecoin team developers as it’s very clear that they only exist for easy money and quick profits. Maybe the reason why they don’t have enough time to focus on their long term goals. So as expected, it still ends in failure like a worthless project. So if any new coin still follow a name of a worthless project, might as well most of the people won’t trust it anymore.
1482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earning From Trading Without Any Professional Knowledge on: September 22, 2022, 09:30:45 PM
I do want to know if it's possible for a starter to gainfully earn from Crypto trading without having to go through a professional training.
Is is possible to earn money from trading without having professional training . but you must have basic knowledge about trading . there are huge free Online video course on YouTube and article on many website available . you can learn many critical point from there . but always keep your mind you must do your own research before investing on crypto otherwise you will not able to gain profit every time
Earning from trading is certainly hard if you don’t have prior knowledge and experience in it. The reason why you have to be totally equipped with basic knowledge and skills in trading, regardless if you have undergo professional training. So earning in  trading will still be very possible as long as you have gained skills and strategies even from video tutorials in YouTube as demo trading will always be helpful if you enter trading.
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: September 21, 2022, 09:57:47 PM
Bitcoin's decentralized nature has made it possible for Bitcoin users to maintain high privacy, but even at that there have been a lot of speculations around Satoshi's identity but again none of his social media or other communication channels have been active since his exit from the science some years ago.
Since bitcoin is already in its spotlight, then it’s expected that a lot of people will look for the real founder of bitcoin which until at the present its identity remains private and uncertain. The reason why a lot has claimed that they are Satoshi, just to steal the spotlight that Satoshi deserves. I guess Satoshi’s faceless identity has helped a lot in the success of bitcoin.
1484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 21, 2022, 09:13:15 PM
I can 100% guarantee based on my models of proven science and maths that the price of bitcoin will not reach $45k before this year ends. This is an easy one.
Seeing the market behavior of bitcoin these days, it’s  easy to say that bitcoin will only stay at the range of $20k-$30k price. It’s value may suddenly increase but after few days it’s showing price decline again. Probably, this happens because the bear season is not over yet and there are no much positive news in the market that will greatly influence the price movement of bitcoin.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invitation to teach Bitcoin in a school on: September 20, 2022, 09:30:08 PM
My applause, OP. You have made yourself an unforgettable gift for your birthday. It is very nice to know that there are altruists like you in the world who donate their time to children for free. Nowadays, when the world counts every second, you take time off from work in order to educate children about Bitcoin for free. I really hope that you were able to interest them. But I want to believe that your lessons will not end with an hour and a half of lectures. Children are quickly distracted, and if their interest is not maintained, one lesson will remain one that can be forgotten.
I sincerely wish that the younger generation starts looking to the future with the confidence that they can achieve the best in their lives, and thank you, OP, for taking such kind steps.
Happy birthday!
I guess this will make your birthday more satisfying and even memorable on your part knowing you have unlock one of your missions in this world, and that is to share your knowledge to the young minds who have no ideas about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. If we can teach the people about bitcoin, I guess it will be better to chose these young generation as they can be our great successors in the future. Good luck OP on your endeavor and I wish you happy birthday, and hope you made a huge impact on the children’s innocent minds.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 19, 2022, 09:32:47 PM
This is a really inspiring topic, these stories give a huge positive charge to people who have lost an important success in their life, unfortunately people start feeling hopeless and frustrated when they get a bit old and think that the end is near and that they don't have time to achieve some success in things They love it, these stories are really inspiring to such people and may be a reason for many of them to start working towards a milestone in their life.
People do not just reach success not only because of motivation but also because of the inner interest and passion that they have been keeping all along thinking that this old age will bring them only less opportunities compared to young ones. Though it’s quite true for some reasons, but if you think you are still able and have the capabilities to push through and become successful, then why not. After all, age is just a number, it won’t determine your achievements in life.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: September 18, 2022, 01:40:14 PM
When you bet on Butler to win, you are most likely going to throw away your money. Though I can see, some are starting to get interested in ML for Paul Butler. Well, if you've got money to burn, take the risk, upsets are always there anyway. Who knows.

For Paul Butler fans, they won't think that they are wasting money betting on him as they want to show support for the boxer.

From the bettors' side, it's really not making sense to place a bet on Butler just for the purpose of taking advantage of the odds. Let's wait for other betting options while the fight is approaching. Still, around 3 months to go, and expect that while the fight is approaching, more options we can choose to place our bet on.

It's only a waste of money if we are not enjoying the fight, we have our favorite fighter and we are supporting the fighter, so win or less the support is still there. For bettors' side, it's quite different as bettors do not need to be a fan in order to bet on the fight, so they could have a different purpose in watching the fight.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 18, 2022, 01:11:12 PM
Congratulations to Canelo and good luck in fighting Bivol soon.
Now, this one is going to be exciting, Canelo already bring his name back as he impressed the fans, this rematch should be interesting.

IMO, Canelo will still be having a hard time defeating Bivol if we based our speculations on his performance today. Though he won against GGG but for me it is not that he has improved, just that GGG was saving his stamina in the later rounds or he will be gassed out early. When he started throwing that jab, Canelo got problems and if Bivol will do the same but on the early rounds then i think the outcome of the rematch would be the same as the first fight.

That if he will do the same strategy, Canelo knows that his strategy will not work, expect a new strategy design solely to beat Bivol, however, I still think that Bivol is a much stronger boxer so I'm thinking maybe Canelo will still struggle beating him.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 18, 2022, 10:16:31 AM
Well, I think that Pacquiao should fight, and the weight category should not exceed 160lb, so he still has a lot to prove, I don't know very well if he is still focused on politics,..............

He has retired already, he will not get back in professional boxing anymore, maybe more exhibition fights, that way he can still earn millions. Pacquiao though not anymore in Politics but his family is, and I'm pretty sure he is the one supporting them, maybe next election, we will see Pacman winning the senatorial race again.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 18, 2022, 09:53:06 AM
Final Scorecard is as follows:

Dave Moretti: 116-112 for Canelo
Steve Weisfeld: 115-113 for Canelo
David Sutherland: 115-113 for Canelo

Canelo Alvarez retains WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight titles.
while the votes shows favoring GGG yet the truth revealed and that is Canelo really deserve this win , he had a best shot for this one as GGG had done his job in boxing and I think this is the right timing to take a vow and retire for good.
this will Give him a graceful exit for the benefits of His career and personal life.
It was a very convincing win by Canelo, now the fans will stop believing that GGG is the better fighter, he was already slow and could not match Canelo's quickness. Yes, congratulations to him, he deserves that win.

Congratulations to Canelo and good luck in fighting Bivol soon.
Now, this one is going to be exciting, Canelo already bring his name back as he impressed the fans, this rematch should be interesting.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 17, 2022, 12:07:08 PM
There is no question that Crawford would accept the lesser of the split. And he is fine with it so I guess that argument has been settled already. But there is the promotion and then the network that might be the stumbling block in this negotiations. But hopefully they can settle their difference just like any major fight that has happen in the past like Floyd vs Manny. They have to do it for the fans because there is a demand and the money that they are going to made is huge as well.

It's either that Spence really doesn't want the fight or his team, or they are trying to bluff Crawford with much higher split in the fight. But 60-40 in favor of Errol is already a good split and if Crawford is going to accept it then good.

But so far all we heard is that they agreed verbally? That is still very far from making this fight. They did to do it asap, everyone is waiting for it. After GGG vs Canelo, there will be no super fight in the calendar.

Until now Crawford has not made a statement regarding that 60:40 split, if he will announce that he is okay with that split, then we can conclude that it was only Spence who is trying to avoid him because he maybe believes that he cannot beat Crawford.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: September 17, 2022, 11:20:44 AM
Although I really want GGG want to win the fight to finally get his dream revenge to Canelo but I’m Canelo already learned his lesson on his defeat against Bivol and Boxer with this kind of caliber will not gonna fall on same mistake. That is not weakness but rather just a mistake on there side for not preparing properly for Bivol because they underestimated the guy. I’m sure this fight will be closed but my bet will still go to Canelo this time because I always take priority the age on Boxing especially if both fighters has a great records.

I noticed an interesting thing about this fight: Golovkin can win, but most likely only by knockout - he is too old to last the whole distance of the fight and win on points. If Canelo wins, it is likely that his advantage in the fight will result in Golovkin getting knocked out before the end of the fight. So, based on these considerations, it seems to me that a bet on total 11.5 under with odds of 2.45 looks very profitable.

Old but not too old mate, don't underestimate GGG, he might have aged but he still has the power. If we believe hat he is too old, then there's no chance that he can knock out a strong Canelo Alvarez. We will see this fight tomorrow, I can't wait to watch this big fight, hopefully, it's another entertaining fight.
1493  Economy / Economics / Re: "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" - A reminder why this is so important! on: September 16, 2022, 09:37:46 PM
https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/woman-holds-up-lebanese-bank-13000-her-own-money-advocacy-group-says-2022-09-14/

" One woman with a gun and some associates briefly held hostages at a branch of BLOM Bank (BLOM.BY) in the capital Beirut, before leaving with more than $13,000 in cash from her account.... "

" Lebanon's banks have locked most depositors out of their savings since an economic crisis took hold three years ago, leaving much of the population unable to pay for basics. "

Let's just imagine this scenario where you have to "rob" a Bank to get access to your own money that you deposited with them. We think these things are impossible, but it is happening and this is a reminder that it does still happen.  Angry

Bitcoin allows you to be your OWN Bank .....and it allows you to have access to your own money, without any intermediary having the power to block it. Just make sure that you have sole access to your Private keys.  Wink
Unfortunately, banks these days are not reliable anymore. They can be very entertaining at the time when we are depositing, but when we decide to suddenly withdraw our funds, most likely they will make it hard for us. I'm not pertaining to all the banks, but there are really few banks who are acting like this. Im just saddened with what the woman go through just to get her own money. If its in bitcoin, this won't be happening to her as bitcoin serves as our own bank and that's why its fully decentralized.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Terra Luna Classic pumping - can it last? on: September 16, 2022, 09:06:24 PM
I am fairly new to crypto and in July I took a gamble on terra luna classic when it was 0.00009 and it is now pumping. Can someone explain why this is and what the chances of it lasting are?

I have been following it more closely over the last week as it has began getting more and more attention and apparently a lot is happening over the next few weeks which is driving the price up currently but not sure what it all means?

How realistic are the chances of it reaching $0.01 or $0.10 and how long will this take? Months or years?

I am not selling just yet but this is seeing the best returns I have had in crypto so far so may take out my investment soon and let the profit ride.
This kind of growth is going to be impossible to sustain, I'm happy that your gamble is paying off but that is all what you should think about it, it was a gamble and you were able to win it, you should not get so greedy to think that Luna classic is going to reach those kind of prices, be happy with the profits that you got and move on, now you ask why is this happening? But most likely there is not a specific reason for this, and this is simply the result of speculators pumping the price.
Terra Luna is only pumping due to hype but when its over, expect that its price will gradually drop again and become less valuable. Well, this is just my own speculation about this coin, i may be wrong in the end. But in most cases, it hard to see sustainable growth when you are investing in a meme coin or a shitcoin, unlike in bitcoin there's always a guaranteed and proven growth that appears when the market recovers.
1495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does anyone think it will be much harder to buy bitcoin later on down the road? on: September 16, 2022, 07:38:58 PM
Title.

Hi all.

Just wanted everyone's thoughts on how easy it is to get bitcoin now, and what getting bitcoin might be like in the future? For example, I can simply go on cashapp and buy btc, send to a wallet I own the keys to. I can also use localbitcoins, paxful, I mean the list is kinda endless. Will that list become...not so endless in the future as the value gets higher?
I guess it all depends. If there will be bitcoin global adoption in the future, then even if the price gets higher, there will always be legit exchanges that will support it and make it easier for us to purchase every now and then. However, when the opposite thing happens, like when the government starts to be strict on bitcoin and there will be banning in most of the countries, probably it will also be hard on our part to look for legit exchanges that will continue to support bitcoin.
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: September 15, 2022, 09:55:43 PM
As I looking at some news today, I saw this one that has the same problem with the other banks all around the world where they sometimes restrict you to get your own money and they ask you for some valid reason which not all people needed to do because first of all, it is his/her money. Some people are forced to do this stuff when if only she had bitcoins, she wouldn't have put her life in danger or anyone else. she could just withdraw wherever she wants.

For how long should people understand the importance to have bitcoins for emergencies such as this one?

That’s the consequence if people keep trusting on banks and they think that there finances will be more secured with them. But the reality is, they are just using our money to lend to some big investors and the bank benefits the big interest while only a little one go to our savings account. And add to it that when people decides to withdraw all of their funds, banks will make it difficult for them. However, bitcoin is not like that. You can have as much as bitcoin as you want, and you can withraw and spend them anytime and anywhere you want as there are already local exchanges in every country.
1497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is going to a the bitcoin conference worth it? on: September 15, 2022, 09:34:11 PM
Hey so im still fairly new to the space, ive been investing for about 7 month now and thought about going to a conference. im not to social of a person but i feel like it would be a good opportunity to just be around the environment. Has anyone been to one? and do you think its a valuable experience?

If you have knowledge about bitcoin then going on conference is just a waste of your time because for sure they will just tell you the basics and the history of bitcoin. But if you don't know about it better start with it since somehow you can gain knowledge with them, but make sure that you go on legitimate conference where main intention is to educate people about bitcoin and not those scam platform who hype people then offer scams.
It will always bring a positive experience attending a conference because even if you know you are knowledgeable enough, you can still gain additional information there and you will hear from others their different experiences in bitcoin. That way, you can share to others too what you have in your mind. Of course, before attending such conference, confirm it first if it’s legit or not so you won’t be wasting your time and effort.
1498  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 14, 2022, 09:28:18 PM
Success to me is something that I feel financially stable and my source of income is solid for a long-term period.

It's not about having your own big house, cars, expensive stuff, and everything.

Those things I have mentioned are rewards for being smart and hard working wisely. Smiley
For we are living in this world which considers money as the most vital and become very necessary in a person’s life, then it’s always important that we should be financially stable at all times. And just thinking of this, I end up feeling secured and contented. So even if I don’t have luxury things in life, as long as I don’t live poorly, then that makes me happy and successful in life.
1499  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: September 13, 2022, 09:59:28 PM
No they are two different things and can't be likened to each other. Gambling depends totally on luck. You either win or lose. You bet and hope that you win. In the long run, you will always lose since the casino will always have an edge. But trading is totally different. You take decisions. You can know what might happen in the future if you do proper analysis. If you are doing it right, you will be making profit in the long run trading. Sure it can be a form of gambling if you don't know what you are doing and just buying low and selling high with the hope of making profit.
Both have the same risk of losing but these two are totally different. If you trade with high knowledge and skills, most likely you will be profitable and gain decent amount of profits. While in gambling, even if you prepared a lot and gained a lot of knowledge and skills in gambling, you cannot expect for a positive outcome in the end. Gambling is a game of chance and luck, so if you don’t have that luck every time you gamble, losing will always be inevitable. Though sports betting is more on skills, but the rest of the games are played on luck based.
1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to keep in mind before accumulation of Bitcoin on: September 13, 2022, 09:38:43 PM
1: Use Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Technique:
In Bitcoin accumulation, this is very important.
In the DCA way of buying Bitcoin, you can minimize your possible loss because you only purchase Bitcoin when it will drop.  Buying a little by little using this method, will surely your investment becomes profitable when there's a new ATH.

All in all, OP has good input, and newbies should know this and educate themselves when it comes to accumulating Bitcoin.
It's a complete process of accumulating Bitcoin.
Not only for bitcoin, but also in all established coins in the crypto market, DCA is still very applicable. But since bitcoin is the most highly volatile one, then using DCA in accumulating bitcoin will surely work so far. I have been DCAing since the start of the bearish market, and it definitely helps me not to be worried with small price drops. And the fact that I’m into bitcoin for long term investment, that motivates me to never be affected with temporary price decline.
